I’ll order chocolate fudge brownie this morning and the guy crushed the ice cubes in the coffee seriously this is the very first I experience very worst coffee.

**Costa Coffee Franchise Owned by Goldex Investment** I recently visited a Costa Coffee franchise owned by Goldex Investment, and it was a truly unpleasant experience. While I was waiting in line, I saw a huge rat running across the floor. What made it worse was the reaction from the staff—they told me that there are rats all over the mall and outside, and they seemed completely unfazed by it. The condition of the shop was equally appalling. All the chairs were ruined, with the seating areas turning brown, and the tables were in terrible shape, sticky and covered in old coffee stains. When I asked to have my table cleaned, I was told that the stickiness was just due to how old and worn the tables were. Additionally, the toilet was constantly occupied by homeless individuals, and the entire shop had an unpleasant odor. It's really shocking to see such a lack of concern for cleanliness and hygiene, especially in a place that serves food and drinks. This kind of issue should be taken very seriously, and it's clear that it isn't being addressed properly. Until Goldex Investment takes significant steps to resolve these issues, I can't recommend visiting any of their locations. It's just not acceptable to have such poor hygiene and maintenance standards.

While the coffee at Costa is consistently good, the overall experience is marred by the shop's condition. The place is noticeably dirty, and the furniture is old and unattractive. It's disappointing that such a reputable brand doesn't maintain a more welcoming and clean environment.

I am a regular customer at Goodmayes Retail park Costa and all of the staff members are very friendly and professional.

Staff not focused on their work and completing tasks slowly, hot chocolate was like warn.....not been served such a bad hot chocolate in years

Both staff members greeted me with a “Good Morning” and a smile. I asked to use the toilet and the Racks the customer service assistant who served me opened the door for me. Sadia was also very polite and greeted me with a good morning as I walked in. Lovely calm atmosphere and a clean shop.

I have been visiting this store very often Has I live near by but today on 11th of February service was worst has there were 2 new faces who were confused and didn’t know how to serve and took half hour to serve one single customer and the lady is too much to handle has she speaks more and work less

Hi. I go into Costas a lot Staff are always friendly and helpful. But I think someone need to came and look at the sitting areas you have chairs That could do with a good steam clean And I sat on a sofa that was falling To bit . Chairs also need a good Clean .

Shops so dull , always a long wait , busy or not . Shelfs not re-stocked .shop and toilets dirty .I'll be avoiding here in the future

The coffee shop ideal across the road from the statiin. However my toatie sandwich was crusty crispie on the first attempt. Place was busy, good for business but the seats were tired and noisey atmosphere.

We come to this costa every morning and each day we are greeted with a friendly smile. The staff know exactly what drink we want.. well except when we decide to change our minds. Sofia is extremely professional when it comes to running the shop and tries her best to make sure people can come relax and enjoy a coffee, but sometimes this proves though when you get the local Ilford crackheads coming in but she hands them really well.

Very noisy, dirty and poor customer service. Lack of staff or inexperienced. Comparing other two Costa in Ilford this one will get 00 mark.

I recently visited Ilford, and the experience was quite disappointing. The noise level was incredibly high, making it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The coffee quality was subpar; having visited numerous Costa coffee shops before, I had always enjoyed a decent cup of coffee. However, the coffee at this Ilford location tasted like watered-down milk with just a hint of coffee flavour. This was truly unexpected and disappointing, especially since people often visit coffee shops like this for meetings and socializing.

I had only £50 note and the staff said not allowed to take as company policy!!! Not happy , because had to leave to find change from somewhere else . A small shop across the road changed my £50 note!!!

Rude and arrogant customer service. I ordered an extra shot in iced latte, but given single shot. On enquiring, I was given the rudest response and accused of theft. Pathetic and disgusting

Extremely unprofessional and Unhygienic staff everything is so messy and unclean. Staff behind the till are mostly acting so 🤷 childish even after repeating order several times still will end up giving u wrong order just wondering is this Actual Costa or where are there food and quality standards check and balance and all measures complete disaster every morning. Disappointment 😞

Pathetic service asked 3 medium extra hot lates and madam serving behind made three small ones when asked shifted the same coffees to large cups and add milk infront of me shockingly dirty behind counters and unhygenic . Kingdom of flies and bugs

Why on earth you have only 2 people in the morning with such long quees ,is beyond me. They are also moving so so so slow and they forgot to add my coffee in my iced coffee!!!! Costa do something about it cas this morning everybody was really really angry !!!!!

Customer service is really bad, we requested to open the toilet to wash my child’s hand the customer care lady ignored us. May time we requested then only she opened it for us. I have watched she opened it for others. I don’t know it’s a discrimination. I will never ever go there again..

I have been visiting Costa Coffee 2 Ilford ever since it opened, I am a regular customer and I try to pop in on a daily basis for my cups of tea and coffee, I enjoy the sandwiches and the cold drinks too, I would just like to share that the staff are very kind to me especially one of the supervisors called Motiur who is a exceptional and a brilliant member of the team, he portrays excellent customer service skills and hospitality, Motiur makes delicious cups of tea and coffee and always has a friendly and polite attitude towards all the customers, he is a hardworking and knowledgeable person, he is a very valuable member of the team.

Not bad if you want to pay full price for half cup of actual coffee and the rest useless froth. This is what they call a plain white coffee.
