Imperial Desserts & Candy in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Again I have t report the same shop Imperial Desserts Caerphly selling out of date items to kids. What's more worrying is this is what we can see, what about the it's behind the counter?

Waited at table 3 for 30 minutes to order having decided what I would like Complete waste of time Staff not interested they simply ignore customers awaiting for refreshments

Me and my friend came to this new dessert place to have a good catch up, as we both love a good ice cream & we love supporting new businesses. The choice is amazing!!! They have a huge menu!!! We both really struggled to pick from the menu. We both have an agreement to always pick different choices off the menu. We both loved what we picked. There is seating both inside and outside (obviously weather permitting). I do believe they offer a "take out service" as well, which is a bonus. Part of the shop is like a sweet shop, which is great!!! I think it's great to have something like this place in the town that stands out. Who doesn't love a good ice cream treat now and again?!

I'd hummed and hoed about going here, it looked pricey. It's also really really bright in there. But with continuous nagging and cajoling my 13yo convinced me to take her. So we went. There's a lot of choice. The build your own seems waaay too expensive for me to give it a go tbh but I went with the imperial and my daughter had the bôn banana. What came out was waaaay bigger than I was expecting. Now I pride myself for being able to consume huge quantities of sweet stuff, but I failed, big time. Obviously I was ill prepared. So a few days later we headed back. There was 3 of us this time. I tried the four seasons, my daughter went for the healthy option of bon banana and her friend had the chocolate heaven. Now we'd planned this visit in advance, so I was geared up for it, and yes, I did it, I finished it! Now yes, £7.50 might be a bit more than you'd want to pay. But this would easily satisfy 2 or 3 people, quite possibly 4 if you have a bit more self restraint and don't want to gorge yourself. I had English breakfast tea as was later in the evening so didn't want to risk a coffee at that time. Wasn't the worst cup of tea I've had when out. Kids had those god awful tango ice blasts, which thay seem to love. Obviously my taste buds are a bit more sophisticated! The staff were super friendly and remembered us from the few days previously. The place is clean and tidy even though its constantly busy. The wait isn't too long once you order and sit down or take away available.

Not great because it's very small, only seating for maybe a dozen inside & maybe 3 tables outside. It's more of an (expensive) american candy shop than in ice cream parlour as half the area inside was put over to such candies. The choice of desserts was quite small maye half a dozen of each of ice creams, waffles or crepes.
