illy Caffè in City of London, Westminster

Locale molto carino con tipico arredamento di un bar italiano; servono caffè, cappuccini, vari tipi di dolci!! Buon odore di caffè entrando nel locale si trova proprio di fronte al negozio di Harrolds!!! Posti a sedere anche fuori!!! Puoi anche portarti via da bere nei contenitori in cartone! Quasi tutti i dipendenti italiani e ben frequentato. Caffè molto buono ; vale la pena pagare 2£

Teniendo en cuenta que no estaban muy ocupados, se necesitaron 3 intentos para obtener el orden correcto de 4 bebidas. ¡Todavía no estaba bien, pero ya no podíamos molestarnos en discutir! Una vez que llega el té, era agradable y de un tamaño decente. Leche limitada y en una taza ridícula que no se derramó

Titolare e personale molto gentili. Ottima posizione, ottimo per fermarsi per bere un cappuccio un caffè o assaggiare le brioche salate. Sono disponibili per qualsiasi richiesta particolare di cibo. Consiglio a tutti!

Buen capuchino. El café es sabroso y el pastel de queso es suave y tierno, pero cuesta 5 libras relativamente caro. El servicio esta bien tambien

Los postres siempre se ven increíbles pero su sabor promedio no vale la pena el precio. El ambiente, sin embargo, es excelente y es un buen lugar de reunión.

I’m usually so happy when I see “illy cafe” because is a brand that represents ITALIAN QUALITY, but this place is a nightmare, I really don’t understand how this place is managed! I’ve been there few times and I always see a woman (I think she’s the menager/ black code dress) confused and panicked, totally disoriented. The staff is not trained , someone doesn’t talk English, in only two times there was a so nice Italian waitress (love her nails) so kind, she was so busy (and alone on the floor) but she was so careful and suggested us a lot of yummy products! Anyway , is a disaster, the cups are dirty and they smell!! The worst thing is that they walk around the shop with boxes full of cups and dishes, disgusting. !! NIGHTMARE

We just stop by before going to shop in harrods and first impretion was a very bad management . People waiting at the front to be sitted and at the back they had 8 tables free. Change management please and you will do much better.

We dropped in for coffee and a cake after walking around London. The coffee was ok and the atmosphere was good and clean. We had decided to share the cake - which was lucky as when we went to pay the bill the one slice was 7.50 pound! When we queried it the staff were really rude and just said, that’s the price! Just beware what the prices are!

This cafe has either just opened or re-opened in a location directly opposite Harrods. It is NOT the Brompton Road branch. That already has a listing on TA. We dropped in here for a drink and a snack after a long walk around London on New Year's Day 2019. Attracted by the busy location directly opposite Harrods and by the well-respected name of the Illy coffee brand, we looked forward to it. We can only describe the experience as chaotic and disappointing. A lady maitre d' directed us to a table but would not take our order for coffee and panini. The waitress designated for our table was clearly not properly trained (or didn't care) to take prompt orders and follow them up for her customers. Eventually we gave her a clear order and emphasised that we would like an orange juice immediately (my wife was getting dehydrated). She said yes and proceeded to do.....nothing about it. It was only when we spoke to the manager about 10 minutes later that some action occurred. Our waitress delivered the full order about 5 minutes after that and murmured an apology for the wait, but unfortunately did not sound sincere about it. Illy must regard this cafe in such a prestige location as important to their brand and business, but it was obvious that their service and training leaves a LOT to be desired. We noticed other customers felt similarly to us. We would not recommend it on the strength of this visit. There is a Pret just along the road and a local Sainsburys branch, both of which would serve better..
