We have eaten in this restaurant on many occasions, food is always excellent staff a fantastic. And we’ll eat there many more times in the future.

Lovely meal here this evening, celebrating my sisters engagement. Food was delicious, huge portion sizes and very prompt service. Thank you for our complementary bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. We will definitely be returning ☺️

Very popular so book ahead. Linguine with lobster didn't have much lobster. Spaghetti Bolognese was nice. Very hard working waiter really needs help. Service was so slow we had to forgo dessert because our parking was due to run out.

Lovely meal in a great atmosphere

Nice Italian, we ate dinner there on a Thursday night. It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night in October, always a good sign for a restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly and the food arrived quickly. We had the bruschetta starter which was ok, pizza was good and a risotto dish not so great. With a bottle of white wine the bill came to just over £80. Overall the experience ok and I thought reasonable value for money. Worth booking a table in advance, especially in peak season when it gets very busy which is simple to do from Google maps.

Had an amazing meal here. Food was 10/10 one of the best Italians. Service was quite slow as server was hosting full restaurant!

Great Italian restaurant, dont visit if you have children. I phoned ahead to check they had a childrens menu as we had our four year old with us, was assured on the phone that they had a kids menu, they dont. its just three pasta dishes in smaller portions and no other choice. We booked an early reservation for 5:15 arrived at 5:10, the host couldnt find our reservation and when he saw we had a child with us was not interested at all, not friendly or welcoming. Once we did order the food was ok, pizza was very greasy, as was the spaghetti Bolognese, such a shame as we where looking forward to it beforehand. Wouldnt return as really felt unwelcome.

Decent food, good value, nothing too fancy just good home cooked Italian cuisine. Plenty of choice on the menu too. They have imported Peroni which is a nice touch

Just as well we booked, albeit only a couple of hours in advance. The restaurant was completely full but we only had to wait a few minutes for our table. Great italian food, The portions were very good and represented good value for money. Service was very good with no long waits between courses. Will definitely revisit if we return to Tenby.

Food absolutely delicious and can't believe the value for money. Highly recommend the ravioli with prawns, seafood spaghetti and the tiramisu. A few reviews mention having to wait however I'm not sure I'f that's our impatient culture. The atmosphere was lovely staff were friendly and although we didn't have to wait we would have been happy to do so for such a nice meal in a lovely setting. Was also dog friendly which was a massive bonus for us.

What a lovely place. The food was delicious and the service was very good too. The waiter who served us was very helpful and friendly so I can see why the place is so popular that we had to pre book.

We visited this charming and authentic Italian restaurant on a Tuesday evening. Luckily we had booked our table as the restaurant soon filled up. The staff were friendly and efficient. Both our meals were delicious and freshly prepared. We will visit again when next in Tenby. Don’t be deceived by the small frontage as the restaurant is surprisingly roomy inside.

We went to this lovely restaurant on 14 September 2024. What a delight to go to a beautiful restaurant with outstanding food. The staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant was completely booked, and you still had people walking in off the street. The food was delicious, and very hot when it arrived. The drinks menu was wonderful also. The prices were very competitive compared to other restaurants in Tenby. I would definitely eat here again, 10 out of 10.

Great service and the food excellent. I had Spaghetti Vongole – loads of clams! My wife had creamy smoked salmon tagliatelle. Very generous, well-cooked portions. Could not fault anything (except allowing dogs into restaurants). Highly recommended and great value!

Fabulous authentic Italian restaurant. Lovely and cozy inside and seats more than you would imagine. However, i'm really glad we booked as it did become full. It was our first visit, but won’t be our last! We were really well looked after by Ali and the wine recommendation was perfect. Fantastic food in a beautiful building full of character with exposed old roof beams. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Would have liked to have had a bottle of one of the local craft beers but unfortunately none were available so had to have a soft drink and go to a pub afterwards.

We were delighted to dine at Il Caminetto, Tenby. The food here is top-notch - full of flavour, and of generous proportions. We would thoroughly recommend any ravioli, the prawn ribbon pasta and the spicy sausage and ham calzone. The waiters were very polite and thoughtful; the place had a family-run feel to it. Despite the restaurant being full both times we visited, we did not have to wait too long for our food. The interior is reminiscent of a rustic English pub or restaurant - exposed brick and wooden beams galore. Very cosy. We felt that, for the quality of food, the restaurant was great value for money. If you want a break from the usual fish and chips, we wholeheartedly recommend Il Caminetto!

Great welcome and service. Lovely menu which appealed to all of us (a family of 5 from 8-70 years.) Each of our meal choices were good and well received, a perfect place for family dining.

We turned up without a reservation and was seated immediately. Ordered our starters, which was antipasto and dough balls, but beware the dough ball portion sizes are huge, definitely enough to share between 2! So excellent value for the amount of food you get! The mains were incredible, rich flavours and fresh food, couldn't go wrong, would definitely come back

Nice restaurant with friendly service. Really delicious bruschetta and delicious pizza (Napoli). The beer selection is limited to three types, but there are several wines. Significantly cheaper than the pizzeria at the harbor.

My wife and I went here on a Tuesday evening, just before the kids had finished school for the summer. Under the circumstances I was amazed how busy Tenby was. The evening before we ate at pub, which was OK but overpriced for simple fish and chips. We had walked past Il Caminetto a few times and the menu seemed good value. We called in mid afternoon when it was empty and was recommended to book; which we did for 6pm. Arrived at 6 and received a nice friendly welcome, placed on a nice table for two. Ordered lasagne and carbonara, both were amazing and enough for a main course. The wine was priced from late teens to crazy, but managed to find a nice bottle of Merlot for around £20. All in all a great experience, friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced drink. Will definitely go again.

The best Italian in Tenby. We visited twice during our weeks holiday. Food was delicious. Fantastic steak and carbonara was lovely.Loved the nutella calzone dessert! Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent restaurant.

We popped in here for dinner on our holiday in Tenby and it was just what you want for an Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff and felt lovely and traditional. The focaccia was perfect and I had one Spaghetti alla scaglio (mixed seafood) and was the best tasting meal I’ve had for a long time. The sauce was amazing! Would definitely recommend

The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was just amazing. We had a pizza, a risotto, some ravioli and some king prawns. A total mix from the menu and all the dishes were so very delicious. Clean plates all round. You won't be disappointed with their food. 100% recommend.

NO NO NO, Not Italian!!! I went in thinking they were Italians and they claimed being from Florence and the accent was not Italian at all!! Loads of spelling mistakes on the menu and when I pointed it out they just didn’t know what to say! Not authentic and nowhere near the real Italian food! Not to forget there was a screw right next to our table that could’ve fallen in our plate!

We were in Tenby for holiday and we were lucky to find this dog friendly restaurant with delicious food and very reasonable prices, its a piece of Italy🫠 We ordered penne con gamberi e zucchine and spaghetti alla bolognese and also tiramisu, they were all delicious and served big portions. It couldn’t have been better. Because of having a good experience we booked a table for the next day to try their puzza and again everything was perfect. 🔥Don’t forget to book your table because maybe you can’t find a place especially in the evening

Went as a group of 5 early table of 6pm but restaurant was already fully booked. One waiter to serve everybody ! He told us they were short of staff. In fairness to him he brought the drinks quickly. Food was a mixture of ok to awful with most of us leaving the meals. As people left more big parties arrived. The chef had to help serve and clear tables. We felt sorry for the staff and even though food not good left a good tip as they were run off their poor feet. Best part of the meal was the garlic bread pizza

A lovely Italian restaurant, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff, we popped in on a Monday evening and although it was busy we managed to get a table upstairs The smell as we entered the restaurant told us thiscwas going to be good! I had the seafood tagliatelle, which was excellent Would definitely visit again

Ordered lamb. Chips came with it. No veg. It was like a 1970s TV dinner - slices of processed meat with gravy. Just really disappointed.

The service was very nice and friendly and the food was delicious !! We had a starter that was huge and shared a pasta with salmon and zucchini that was very good!!

If I could give 6 stars for service I would, the staff are just superb and the food is equal to them, lovely restaurant and good portion sizes for the price you pay at a touristy seaside location. Local Italian waiter staff and chefs, we have now been twice and shall definitely return again on a future trip.

Absolutely brilliant place. A must visit whilst you are in Tenby. The service from walking in to leaving was very good. The food was the best Italian food we have ever had!! Stayed 5nights in Tenby and been to this restaurant twice. Food is delicious! Had garlic bread, pizza and pasta and all really nice and generous portions. Prices are reasonable too. It has a cosy atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Worth booking as always busy. We don’t have dogs but we saw a few so obviously dogs welcome.

We absolutely loved this place! The staff were very friendly and even did their best to find us a seat even though we had no reservation. The atmosphere was great, with the original brickwork and wooden beams exposed, and very spacious (unlike other places that try to cram in as many tables as possible). We ordered a pizza and a pasta which were both very well priced and delicious. To finish the meal we ended with the tiramisu, which I've been told you can judge an Italian restaurant by its tiramisu... The tiramisu was perfect!

Nice, busy Italian joint. The food is plentiful, tasty and traditional. The fried dougballs, bruschetta, whole sea bream and braised beef were standouts, along with excellent, friendly service.

Had a few takeaways from here whilst staying in Tenby. Highly recommended. Will visit again!

Popped out after a long day in the shop for a quick walk around the block and walked in here , highly recommend it , great wine and food , highly recommend here. Even the Coffee and to be honest so many restaurants fall at the last hurdle .Will be back . Dales Music Store

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, asked for a table for one and was seated promptly. I went for the lasagne and it was one of the best I've eaten in a long time. To anyone who is perhaps on a solo trip in Tenby or visiting for the first time give this place a try, you won't regret it

What a fabulous find. Firstly, such a warm welcome. Lovely ambiance and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was really authentic home made Italian and the portion sizes were excellent. As good as anything I’ve eaten in Italy. Then, to round things off, a complimentary limoncello. Lovely touch. Thanks so much for a great experience.

We couldn't fault our visit here. We were met with a warm welcome and the service was excellent, as was the food. We had one of the best carbonara and pizzas we have ever had. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

My brother and his wife came down to Tenby for the weekend for a catch up, it was decided that we all fancied Italian, I had a Quick Look look on google and the choice was made, as soon as we entered the for we were greeted by a friendly young man who took our reservation details and asked if there was a preference of table so we chose a nice one by the front window looking onto the street.Our family arrived and after pleasantries we scanned the menu, so much choice the ladies chose Lasagne and us guys had sea good pastas one with a white parsley sauce and one with a tomato sauce, well suffice to say all plates were cleared the food was fabulous but we had to sample the desserts so it was 2x strawberry cheesecakes and one Tiramassu my wife decided not to have one, well these desserts were fabulous and the gent who served us placed the 3 desserts in front of us with a spoon to the side and then at my plate he placed another spoon facing my wife opposite me and smiled ( knowing my wife would want to try it). The whole evening and atmosphere was great, staff was first class and food was fabulous, we will be returning Thank you

Went for bday meal arrived half hr late but they were fine starter was lovely had a rib eye steak for main but way too much fat on it for £30 quid.

First visited this family run Italian restaurant in November 23 on the strength of its Trip Advisor reviews….which are very good! And we were not disappointed. It was the only eatery that was busy on a wet November evening in Tenby. In my review I wrote that the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and the food is very good (as is the red wine). Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again in the New Year when we return to Tenby. Well we have returned and have eaten again at Il Caminetto and are delighted to find it is just as good! Good food, good wine, good atmosphere and good service from Ali, the very hard working front of house. Once again, highly recommended. We will definitely be back soon.

OK food, but too rich and too much.

First time eating here, but definitely won’t be our last. Food was absolutely outstanding! And the desserts followed suit! Our host Ali was brilliant, very polite and attentive! (Thank you Ali!!) Was absolutely amazing, definitely will recommend to anyone and everyone!

We’ve been to “il caminetto” a few times now and it never disappoints. Cosy atmosphere, professional service, always on point and staff very attentive to details, making the whole experience great. We used to live in Italy and I can definitely say that this the most authentic Italian food I ever had in Pembrokeshire. The menu is diverse and everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the pizza crust is thin and crispy, and the tiramisu is to die for. We love coming here for a date night or special occasion, as it always feels like a little slice of Italy in our own backyard. Highly recommend giving Il Caminetto a try if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed! Grazie mille for providing such a wonderful dining experience.

staff were super quick, got there at 5PM and left at 6PM. Super friendly staff including the year before when we went also. Staff check on you quite often, immaculate hygiene and a fantastic atmosphere. The food portions are HUGE! Both years I have been we have ordered a margarita pizza and both years It took nearly 2 or 3 people to finish. Each year we’ve been we have tipped and left the happiest, and every time we leave we plan our next trip to Tenby just for this restaurant. Never ever had a disappointing experience and would recommend any day! Bathrooms were amazing, and when we went to the bathroom you could tell they had just been cleaned. When we went at 4:30PM just before opening (at 5PM) we witnessed staff cleaning thoroughly and overall had a lovely experience.

What a lovely place to visit for traditional, Italian cuisine. Friendly and welcoming staff and a great menu to choose from. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef for tasty, traditional, Italian food that did not disappoint.

Off season on a Monday night in Tenby there is a limited choice where to eat. The town was suprisingly busy and the first restaurant we tried was fully booked and Il Caminetto was not far away so we decided to go straight in. We were sat at a lovely table for two and both had pizzas which really were exceptional. We had a couple of different glasses of red wine each and then to finish we had the incredible tiramisu and the equally as good panna cotta. To top things off the service really was excellent and we went away counting ourselves very lucky we stumbled across this gem. The only thing we felt a bit guilty about was that they could only accept tips with cash and neither of us had any with us. When we go back to Tenby we will definitely be going back here again.
