Last 3 visits to this IKEA store have been disappointing. Less products to buy, increased prices, poorer quality than previously. Prices have risen in the restaurant and it can be tricky to get a table during peak times. Sometimes the queues to pay for food can take so long that your food is cold by the time you come to eat it. Parts of the store were incredibly warm and stuffy during my most recent visit in August with no cool air flow in certain areas - this made the shopping experience very uncomfortable and frustrating. It was crowded by the Bistro at the end, and unclear whether you had to use the new self-service screens (some of these not working) to order food/drink, or whether you could still queue up to order with a person. Sadly, the Bistro no longer seems to have chocolate doughnuts, or any offers if buying multiple cinnamon buns.

The upstairs restaurant was fair to good. Clean, and the staff were OK. The problem we had was the down stairs hot dog part. Only my son had a undercooked hot dog. It has caused him to be unwell, being very sick the very next morning. The sitting area was dirty and unloved (partly down to lazy customers). We asked the cleaner to clean the table, she refused and literally walked off. A teenager more interested in herself than the customer. Thus, we kindly asked another older staff member. She laughed, and then ignored our request. We shall not be going back. IKEA a few years ago was so much nicer

Been to IKEA for 17:12 searched for products after getting to customer service, u was told I have to take part of my item home by myself despite pay for the delivery for others. That wasn't sound nice. Again, I have to searches for the fitters, that might sound what is hard in doing that but that supposedly to be completed at the same time and the same day of the delivery of the item at customer service desk. I don't think that should be left for customer to do. Getting to the till 20;55 after waiting about 20 minutes, the item I was asked to take home was out of stock. The staff downstairs kept blaming the customer service who send me down for collection should have called to find out if the item was still in the stock. How ever it was the staffs at pick up area who were not updated the system after supply the item so the customer service could see this on the system. I have a most horrible day. After about 4.5 hours with my wife and kids I was unable to buy anything despite full preparation we made, it was so disappointed really.

The staff serving in the restaurant today at 2:30 were obviously fed up, no smile, no eye contact and generally miserable looking, even flipped the plate in the counter whilst turning their back on customers. I looked to see if I was the only one and I wasn’t. Even had a rescan at the checkout and she didn’t even acknowledge we were there! Honestly IKEA, your staff seriously need cheering up

WEDNESBURY ⛔️ Failure Start to Finish ! The process of purchasing a couch failed from the moment of purchase. Over-charged, go online, go into store, go online go into store for refund, told to stand over there in store to get it ! 3 weeks they had our £100 ! Didn't recognise the Case Number either Still escalating but now being ignored ⚠️

What a let down, really looking forward to my Veggie Balls with what looked like a stir fry, my husband had the fish & Chips. Mine was cold and the stir fry, was bland. Asked for the fish without mushy peas, and that I would like peas as these were on offer as an extra side. In stead I got mushy peas. This plate was placed under the counter perhaps given to another customer later who knows. All in all not a very good experience. Sorry Ikea will not be coming back for food.

What on earth has happened to the food quality in Ikeas cafe. We went a few weeks ago and said we wouldn't eat breakfast there again but with awkward timing today we were hungry so had the bacon breakfast roll, with omelette, some toast and coffee. Two absolutely awful small hard bacon pieces, with a huge bap that was far too big for the amount of bacon and really cold. The toast was burnt and cold so not a good experience at all.... only nice thing was the coffee which we would have again otherwise no food there for us again. Come on IKEA sort it out!!!!

Portions have got smaller and prices have gone up and they have done away with special offers. So no longer good value. Added to this my meal was a chicken curry that was the dregs from the container which was had dried out. They also used to include a naan with a curry but now it is extra. So if you get extra peas and a naan (making it a decent sized meal) it will cost about £9 compared to about £6 last year. Won't be going back for food.

Absolutely disgusting experience, we were regular shoppers at IKEA never again. My partner had bought a desk took him ages to decide what he wanted, they came in two pieces. Bare in mind when we got to the location of the desk, it looked as though a few boxes on top had been returned as the seal was different and the box already damaged. My partner made a point to say no let's dig to the boxes that all look the same, the top boxes look dodgy. We stacked until we found boxes that locked similar and undamaged transported them to the boot and then home. We had them sealed and untouched for a good 2weeks, we have a new edition so time is very limited to indulge and potter about when a baby is priority. My partner decided he no longer wanted the desk and was going to return it and just get a refund more or less £300. When we eventually trekked back to IKEA, the young lady at the till asked what the problem was and why we were returning it. You can see the boxes had been untouched and unopened, she proceeds to pull out a knife and slice the boxes open, where you hear shatter and metal bars collapsing where the boxes are on their side. Wouldn't you lay the boxes down and then own it, it didn't make any sense??? She looked in the box got another staff member who came out and then ran in the back. The original cashier (Paige)said unfortunately it's damaged you can't have a refund, my partner was LIVID!! Overall the manager got involved, their was a huge argument that things had been resealed and rebagged. If that's the case why are you reselling faulty goods!!! You say they come straight from the warehouse yet you are arguing with a young couple and stereotyping for a little over an hour that we opened it and we damaged it. A security guard blatantly came up to my partner and said they are racist around here, If it was me I would give you a refund straight away no questions asked I believe you. Why would we open one box with none of the body structure for the desk. But open the other which is just nails and loose fittings it doesn't make sense. Shocked and appalled to say the least!

Me and my mum went in for a nice meal and ended up paying £20 for Katsu rice and fish and chips, also getting caramel cake and apple cake for dessert. Their food ended up being horrendous, it didn’t even taste like real fish and chicken. Ended up throwing up twice after feeling sick for over half an hour. Never again.

BEWARE! They have a teller at the restaurant who has 0 customer service and no manners whatsoever. She will tell you her name is Tom when you tell her that you want her name in order to make a complaint. She will then dare to touch your phone trying to snatch it and even threatens to break it if you take a photo of her when she thinks she can be rude and have no consequence. (Photo used as proof). Anyway, you should always check your receipts because their system might charge you for fruits even though it says it is free with kids meal. Ikea Birmingham has a lot of work to do if they don't want to tarnish their brand and reputation.

It's a long time since I visited this place. My...how things have changed. The products are no longer cheap but very high quality. Excellently packaged. But my main praise comes on the product and ease of assembly . No longer are parts missing, holes not lining up and poor assembly instructions. Everything was spot on. I was not looking forward to the assembly but in the end I have to say I enjoyed it.

Used to be great but now not, menu items missing, chilled cabinets empty, drinks not available, cold meatballs and peas and gravy like warm. Such a shame as the cafe was a bit of a star but no more. Photos say it all......

After living in Stockholm for 30 years and regularly visiting Ikea there, I was very disappointed with the service at this branch of Ikea. The staff that I interacted with were rude and generally ignorant and unhelpful regarding questions my family had about products and even the restaurant staff at the cash tills were rude and unwilling to help with questions. My British family will not be gracing this Ikea branch with any further service.

I visited Ikea Wednesbury and was so impressed that they are doing children’s meal in their restaurant for less than £1. Well done Ikea times are hard for families and you doing a great job.

Visited today, not a lot of choice but I did enjoy the Goats cheese tart, my fella opted for the almost obligatory meatballs. The dessert we chose was the cheesecake. All the meal was decent enough for a very low price tbh. Told AFTER we came out people who have family cards can have a free tea/ coffee but even if you purchase the tea free coffee 50p. What a bargain.

Spent 4 hours in Ikea on a sunday and could have easily spent another 4, fantastic range of products in the store. But lets talk food. The 2 of us ate in the restaurant and Bistro downstairs. As a person who recently stopped eating meat i was in food heaven. Tried the plant meatballs and they are as of yet the best alternative ive come across. They were also on a promotional offer so the meal only cost £2 (Yes £2). Also got a voucher for money off downstairs and bought a bag that are now in my freezer. The food was well cooked and very tasty. Only issue for me was the wait to be served at both restaurant and bistro. You must try the Veggie Dog they are just as good. Cant wait to visit again soon!

I wanted to thank Noah sales assistant and his manager at the Birmingham Wednesbury store for their help on Wednesday 15th September. They were both so professional and kind with a stressful finding of a return and deserve to be thanked for their great customer service. Unfortunately there is no other way to compliment staff on IKEA’s website and I think it’s just as important to thank than to complain! So, cheers.

My daughter was taken ill during a visit to the Wednesbury store today. A member of staff contacted first aid and several members of staff came to help immediately. The staff went out of their way to help us providing a wheelchair, a bed, food and water. They couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Thank you so much.

Went there with my family and I saw the security was letting some people through the gates straight to the market and food section. I asked if I can go too instead of going all the way around the site they said they can't let me in as that is the rule which is fine by me (I was willing to do that),but why to let some people in and some not( the rule is rule for everyone) and when I mentioned that, they become very rude and they said go and eat somewhere else. I asked if I can speak to the manager one of them said I am the manager and for sure I can tell he was only security, they kicked me out only for asking why they let some people through the gates when is one way system. So unprofessional and rude !! I'm never going back there again.

Firstly; getting there. Exit Junction 9 on the M6. And then? Not a single IKEA sign to tell you where to go! We don't all have Satnav do we? We got lost and went all around the area. Google Maps does not give clear directions after exiting at Junction 9. All the more reason for IKEA to provide signposts. Can they afford to put up a sign at the exit?Secondly; signage within the store. Very poor. They do not seem to have the yellow lines showing you where to go, that you can follow.Thirdly; odd restaurant arrangements. What's the point in having to book? completely unnecessary. Why can't we just queue up and go in, keeping the 2M distance?This seems like a poorly managed IKEA, certainly compared to the others I've been to, like the Neasden one.

There was no social distancing at all and only half the staff/customers were wearing face masks. Clearly too many people allowed in, especially in Covid times.

I travelled an hour to the store and joined the huge queue. To be honest, I thought....Good...queue... must mean only so many allowed in. As I walked in there were sanitizer stations, but once inside, the store was absoluetly heaving. I thought I was going to have a panic attack and promptly tried hard to get to the exit.The amount of people without masks was ridiculous and frankly selfish. The only reason I visited was because my product was not available online.I am so saddened that such a huge company like ikea does not protect their customers... let's face it...the ones who spend thousands of pounds in there., keeping you going.I will not return here, whilst the threat of Covid is still out there.I understand it may be hard to enforce face coverings to the selfish and rude people who should be wearing them, but it is mandatory and therefore you are not adhering to guidelines!!! Sort it out Ikea!!!!

Today my Daughter and I visited Birmingham store and from the moment we arrived we found the whole visit very stressful and not enjoyable at all for a variety of reasons.Firstly as we browsed the sofa area we came across a male member of staff by a ladder who continually stared at us,he eventually went up the ladder still staring and then along a ceiling area still staring.We both found this behaviour strange,unprofessional,intimidating and it made us feel very uncomfortable.Secondly the store was very busy with little to no social distancing inside and MANY people wore no masks or wore their masks under their noses or under their chins!The tannoy announcement was repeatedly played informing visitors that it was the law that masks should be worn at all times.The further we got into the store the more anxious we both became and we decided that we would leave as soon as possible without buying anything as we didn’t feel safe.A great shame as we’d made a 2 hour round trip in order to buy sofas and rugs.I have left feedback for IKEA and await their response with interest but I won’t be returning anytime soon

Popping into IKEA this morning and thought yes hot dog great value breakfast on the go. advertisement says £1 but was charged £1.15 Still excellent value for money but the sign says £1 and was embarrassed to ask why.

Como no necesitamos un asiento", parece una tontería tomar una mesa haciendo que otros esperen solo necesitamos una bebida fría. . . ¡seguramente! ¡Nos dicen que no podemos simplemente conseguir una bebida que TENEMOS que COMER y hacer cola para una mesa!¡El mundo se ha vuelto realmente loco!

Acabo de estar en IKEA, Birmingham. Habiendo viajado unos 40 minutos para llegar. Decidimos desayunar. Nos unimos a la cola a las 10. 30 y esperaron unos 30 minutos para ser atendidos, llegaron trabajos que valían la pena y gritaron "Eso es todo, el desayuno se detuvo, regrese en 5 minutos y luego el almuerzo". Allí había unas 20 personas en la cola y no se divertían, pero su personal no interesado. Le sugiero encarecidamente que revise sus habilidades de cara al cliente. Todos sabemos que el mundo ha cambiado, pero la mala educación es imperdonable. Quiero volver nunca más. Estoy seguro de que no querrás perder clientes en estos tiempos extraños.

Totally appauled, by lack of face masks. Some people mainly family groups going through the door wearing face masks. Then took them off before they reached the stairs. Felt very un easy around so many people without masks, or any idea of what social distancing means.Several customers mentioned this too staff, My self included, to be told nothing St all staff can do. Totally appauled by some ignorant selfish people.Used to go to IKEA at least once a month, will not be going again

Cuando visité IKEA hoy, me horrorizó la falta de respeto que tenía la mayoría de los clientes. Si bien los cubrimientos faciales son obligatorios, no todos usaban uno, especialmente una vez que llegaste al final, y la mitad de los que lo hicieron tenían la nariz y la boca fuera. No hubo respeto por el distanciamiento social y no disfruté un poco mi experiencia allí. El personal fue muy útil si es necesario y todos tenían cubiertas faciales, pero se debe hacer más para garantizar que los clientes obedezcan las pautas del gobierno, ya que ciertamente no me apresuraré a regresar.

Had breakfast here with my son, we both love ikea, we had a bacon bap and tea and coffee, bacon was tasty but the bap was rather hard, it’s a bit like their flat pack furniture as you make your own bap.Nothing seems to be in one place and by the time you get your hot drink the bacon is cold. The staff however, are friendly and helped out with the coffee machine as it took the token but didn’t give out the right coffee.So tasty breakfast lovely tea and great staff.

We like coming here all the way from Gloucester. The Bristol store is closer but the Birmingham store is better layout and we got a few nick naks and had lunch. Not too busy for a Fri lunch time

Visited to buy some Christmas items, stopped in the downstairs cafe on the way out. Had a deluxe hotdog and a veggie hotdog, both very nice and an absolute bargain. Coffee was fine, and free refills, what a winner! Love Ikea...!

Restaurante muy popular y concurrido: ¡cafetería en una tienda muy concurrida! Puede hacer cola un tiempo dependiendo de la hora del día allí! ¡Todos los autoservicios y recargas gratuitas de bebidas calientes y frías, así que no te puedes equivocar! La comida tiene un precio muy alto, estoy seguro de que algunos solo vienen aquí por el restaurante.

La tarta de calabaza fue lo mejor que he comido en mucho tiempo. . Servicio encantador y excelentes precios.Muy bien preparado para bebés también. No me puedo quejar.Gran servicio en almacén y en cajas. Bien hecho, Ikea, estoy tan cansado del mal servicio en todos lados.

No he estado aquí durante diez años o más, pero el restaurante no parecía tan agradable como en el pasado. Era tarde, así que solo una bebida y una galleta antes de partir a casa. El hombre que me sirvió la noche anterior (me gustaría haber tomado nota de su nombre) fue de gran ayuda cuando le expliqué que era celíaco, que verificó qué comida no contenía gluten, ya lo sabía, pero quería estar seguro. Cuando dije que no estaba seguro de si me gustaría las bolitas vegetarianas, inmediatamente me dieron una para que las probara. Me dieron papas sin gluten ya que no tenían pan y todo se hizo de manera amistosa con una sonrisa:)

Hadn't tried the do-it-yourself salad bar before; will do it again, though. Basic (as you might expect) but fresh and tasty and a bargain. Had the apple pie and the cheesecake between us as usual, so a filling meal, just in time before the crowds came, at a good price. Gave it top rating as the overall value made up for the ordinary-tasting coffee. Worth a visit.

When in the area, if I need a table to work at, I head for ikea. Loads of parking, free coffee with my family card and table to work at. Ok, so sometimes it's a bit noisy, but it's free!!!!

Waited in the queue for 25 minutes for a hot dog. Was alarmed to see a member of staff who was serving the food wipe his nose with the palm of his hand twice before serving the lady in front of me.

El restaurante Ikea Wednesbury solía ser bueno, pero hemos notado una disminución continua en la disponibilidad de alimentos. Llegamos alrededor de las 12. 00 para el almuerzo y, últimamente, no ha habido platos de ensalada de salmón o langostinos en exhibición, tenemos que preguntar y luego nos sacan un plato de la cocina si tenemos suerte, pero parece que nunca llenan el mostrador. Las porciones de postres parecen ser más pequeñas y menos variadas. Hemos notado una escasez de personal y los estándares de higiene en el restaurante han bajado. En el lado positivo, el café es bueno, pero en nuestra última visita varias máquinas quedaron fuera de acción.

Decidimos hacer una visita después de solicitar una tarjeta de familia y amigos. Recibimos un regalo gratuito para registrarnos y fuimos al restaurante para probar la comida. Ambos comimos pollo con cebolla y queso Kiev con papas, guisantes Joe 2 tartas de diez centavos y 2 cafés (que eran gratis) Muy buena comida y tienes que limpiar la mesa tú mismo, no hay problema que merezca la pena una visita. Volveremos pronto

Visité hoy y llevó a los nietos a almorzar primero. Soy intolerante al gluten, por lo que encontré a un miembro del personal detrás del mostrador y le pregunté por el menú de alérgenos, ella dijo: "usted puede comer las verduras, no tienen gluten" después de superar la sorpresa de su respuesta, le pregunté nuevamente por el alérgeno. menú, que otro miembro del personal me dio. Esto estaba fuera de fecha y muchos productos no estaban listados. Pregunté por el pollo en el mostrador, una señora buscó en un menú separado y dijo que el pollo estaba bien, pero las papas fritas no lo estaban, lo tenía y me fui a la barra de verduras y ensaladas. Había aros de cebolla en las verduras y muchos de los artículos de la ensalada también tenían evidencia de contaminación cruzada. Tomé algunos tomates y pepinos ya que se veían bien. Tuve una reacción menor probablemente debido a la contaminación cruzada. No había personal disponible en ese momento. Intenté utilizar la asistencia web más tarde, pero no había personal disponible y, al llamar al servicio de atención al cliente, se me dijo que había una espera de 20 minutos. Después de 30 minutos colgué. No vale la pena el riesgo.

Really good here can get some good stuff for your home and in flat pack. Good prices and its a good walk to for fitness.

Go in the week if you can as it's bonkers at the weekend! Open 10am to 10pm. I haven't been in years. It's ok but so many competitive stores around.

I've eaten here with my family several times and it's always the same. Miserable looking staff, dirty floors and tables, and a general feeling of eat and leave quickly. We've only eaten here when we've realised it's getting a bit late for the children. The food is edible, affordable and passable but by no means tasty. The restaurant is definitely not given the careful thought the rest of the store is.

Today has to be the worst day on record today I left Castle Bromwich up the M6 for Ikea with my wife and autistic son James never never never again.We got stuck in traffic for over an hour and a half and yes it was all to do with Ikea my son bless him was in complete meltdown shouting screaming and yes we as parents got the prunt of it all.The car parking was rammed no where to park every car parking space had gone.Never never never again will I be visiting Ikea.

We travel up and down the M6 a lot, visiting family, and use IKEA as our 'services', since the food and environment are so much better, both in terms of choice and value.

Purchased couple of bedroom items and built them on return home. Lovely strong quality and all pieces complete in boxes

We have frequented Ikea and he ikea restaurant for a few years now. Their food has drastically improved and the food is always so yummy.

Called in as part of our shopping trip. Vegetarian balls very tasty. Just as good as the meatballs according to one of our group. However the maccaroni cheese was described as cold and congeled according to my daughter and the bread dry. Dime cake was nice.

We didn't use the cafe but we always but hot dogs and cinnamon buns from the fast food counter on the way out! Hmmmm delicious I absolutely love the hot dogs and the cinnamon buns. The price is fab too excellent value for money.

Ok we didn't buy any tealights nor the latest box to keep everything, we went for lunch.

Excellent value for money, cannot complain. The queues were long as it was Easter holidays so to be expected. 2x childrens meals, 1x adults veggies meatballs (perfect vegan options) with couscous and three refillable drinks for less than £12!! Perfect, the kids enjoyed their donuts on the way out. Happy kids, happy mum!

Went to Birmingham after Bristol did not have my item and purchased some boxes few little things and a Kallax unit which I was super excited about needing to organise my children.. but seeing as any person can park in children parking I got the space at the back of the car park and had to get two trolleys as ikea only allow you to have one child in your cart so already frustrated, after this ordeal I get to the picking area and am told by the lady at the “help” point I need a flat trolley for my item not a normal trolley I asked how I am supposed to push all these trolleys and her reply was she could take my item and flat trolley to the sales desk... umm who is then going to push my 3 trolleys to my car!! I managed but a little more help from staff wouldn’t go amiss or maybe some more well though out trolleys

Always use our family card to get a free drink when shopping in Ikea. Love sitting and looking at the traffic stuck on the M6 motorway! Nice environment. Food always looks appetising though we only have a cake with our drink

Came here to eat while visiting Ikea, it was early just coming up to 12, no sandwiches available at all, stood in queue for 15 minutes as only one member of staff serving. Staff member was brusque and to say slopped the food on the plate was an understatement I felt like I was back in the school canteen and my meatballs and gravy resembled a Jackson pollack painting! Overall food tasted great but tables were dirty and staff couldn’t be bothered, unfortunately it’s quite a captive audience!

No suelo calificar cualquier tienda/store como un día, pero esto es diferente. Si no venden, no necesitas! Comience el día con un desayuno en el restaurante; tiene que ser más barato, y desayuno de calidad por el precio razonable. Navegar a través de gran variedad de productos del hogar y textiles; la batería en el sótano es una maravilla! Son artículos populares repetidas a través de la tienda para cambiar tu mente si no tienes que ir todo el camino de regreso a donde lo primero que vimos. Zona de juegos infantiles está supervisado dentro de la tienda - un bienvenido descanso para todos cuando el comercial se pone intenso! Hay un montón de aparcamiento gratuito. Tienda de comida es siempre vale la pena mirar como es el helado y caliente perro. Una gran relación calidad-precio, siempre nos dejan con un montón de cosas sin romper el banco!

No había visitado durante varios años y siempre disfrute de un paseo por aquí. El interés conceptos me y hay algo para todo el mundo. Un montón de artículos más pequeños para añadir a la casa que sea una tienda de visita obligada. Mi maleta no vacío mucho tiempo. También comimos en el restaurante, que era barato y alegre, con comidas sabrosas y muy práctico para nuestra visita.

Great place, beautiful items and easy to put together, not expensive either and they last The cafe there is beautiful too - love the breakfasts!

food is great and well priced, furniture is different but very cleverly designed, and at a very affordable price, gets exceptionally busy on bank holidays and weekends so recommend weekdays if you don't like having to wait around to get served

Beneath the standard of other IKEA cafes, called for breakfast to find no knives, food cool rather than hot, long queues at the hot drinks as some machines were out of action, only 1 of 2 milk dispensers working. Believe this is not unusual as a previous evening visit found the hot drinks taken out of use half an hour before the stated cafe closure time.

Llamado en el restaurante mientras compras en IKEA, zona muy limpia, mesas todo muy bien y limpio. Había una cola enorme para desayunos y bebidas, pero fuimos muy rápidamente. La comida y el servicio era correcto, té y café muy agradable.

Cold food, just like the one in Belfast. Really disappointing. We visited on a Friday evening and the food just wasn't nice

They have down graded the 'free refills' now to small paper cups.

Metimos en para almorzar! Albóndigas delicioso con puré y deliciosa salsa Mundial Jammy! Encantador y torta de almendras 5 caramal para flan! Precio muy razonable! Volveremos! !

Lo mejor de las bebidas calientes eran que consigue rellenar gratis, la molesta era que no tenían nuestra bebida deseada! (No hay chocolate caliente en stock, así que nos fuimos por un café con leche)

Llegamos a ikea que me han abierto, tenía un pequeño y un tamaño desayuno, buena relación calidad-precio, dos desayunos y bebidas 8 libras. 00, podría ser un poco más caliente, pero hay un microondas si necesitas darle una maravilla, el personal es muy bueno y agradable

I recently visited Ikea with my husband to look for some new bedroom furniture for our daughter.I love the layout of this shop and the "journey" it takes you on through all the departments! However this is also a pain when you decide to go back for something you didn't put in your trolley as it is a one way system. We found the perfect wardrobe for our daughter and my husband photographed the tags inside so we could collect it downstairs in the warehouse afterwards, it was a weekend and all staff were busy serving other customers so we didn't speak to anyone regarding the wardrobe before moving one. When we got into the warehouse my husband went to "self select" all the parts of the wardrobe which weren't all in the same isle, so he was up and down like a yoyo! After piling everything into his trolley he soon realised that this wasn't the same wardrobe as the one we view upstairs. We spoke to an assistant who checked it on the computer who informed us that the wardrobe we wanted had been discontinued and someone had put the tags in there to a different wardrobe! it was a Sunday afternoon and the ten minute until closing announcement was made therefore we didn't have time to go and choose something else.We did return later in the week and chose an alternative which my husband has put together and it is a beautiful Pax wardrobe, the quality of their furniture is amazing and that is why we returned, but the concept of shopping is very frustrating! It would be so nice to make your selection and it be ready and waiting for you to take home!

Called in Friday evening before a shopping trip round storeI opted for fish an chips with pea's. Good meaty piece of fish (cod i think) and pile of chips - Didn't touch the side (as hungry). Staff very friendly and politeWill definitely visit again on next trip :)

To be honest I know lots of people rave about there meat balls, but I'm not bothered (although happy that they now do vegetarian ones that are equally as pleasing). It does have some nice interior (that you would hope for as the place specialises in it) but it really does have a school canteen feel about the place, seating isn't the best for people with back problems but manageable. The cold drinks available are nice and not branded that I like and the tea & coffee (all self serve) is ok.

Great spot for tired legs, good choice of food and drinks have free top ups. Lots of areas for kids so beware screaming kids. Free wi-fi. Not peaceful but this is a shopping trip. Meat balls recommended.

Plenty of parking, great outdoor display of garden furniture. Store looks modern & has a great layout..fab market place as per. Large serving of fish & chips, great refillable drink machines, restaurant looked recently referbished, light & modern. Staff very helpful in warehouse helping you find items you require, thank you! Great Swedish grocery store and snack bar to finish your visit. Enjoyable visit.

Cheap as chips! Fish and chip meat balls and chips with bread roll and two hot drinks for under £9.00. Food a little cold but not complain for under £4.50 each !

The cafe is great for cheap meals, the meatballs gravy and chips are amazing. And I can't leave without a hotdog too. And the bargain corner is amazing! I've had loads of great deals. Downside- the walk around ikea is exhausting and like a maze!

So much better I find to use IKEA to stop for a break than a motorway service station. Stopped here on a Friday night at about 7:30pm when heading north and although car-park seemed busy the restaurant was not too bad with only a small queue that did not take too long.Has the meatballs as usual with the Diam cake to follow. All good value and tasted great.Will be back again next time we are on the M6.

Not only was the food seriously good, but i also had the price of my dinner taken off my Ikea shopping.......thanks to a family card.

Called to do a bit of shopping. Decided to have some food and was presently surprised. Had a good selection of food reasonable price .was clean and bright.very busy at a reasonable price was good for the time we visited the store.

Nice and big cafe for breakfast whilst waiting for the store to open. Quick service, with standard priced full breakfast, toast, pastries. Free refills for regular coffee and tea (not lattes or cappucino) good choice for children and adults. Worth a look when shopping there.

I visited ikea today with my family having been told breakfast was good i arrived to find it very very poor quality poor choice no brown bread had to be white no poached or scrambled eggs only this circle egg small omelette which tasted like powder no oatmeal no bananas no yogurt no fresh fruit bar apples sorry but who wants apples for breakfast not me only one choice of cereal not impressed at all just twice fried hash browns greasy sausages bacon was OK and beans not great choice at all I'll never go again for breakfast :((((((

Food surprisingly good..not a a lot of it but price good. Clean surroundings with plenty choice in seating. Staff very friendly. Safe place for children to play without annoying other customers. Free wifi and sockets to plug in your mobile or laptop I fact places for you to work with your laptop.

Ikea is great when getting a new home. Tons of ideas and furniture to buy for days. They never seem to fail me. Nice little restaurant to pop into as well

Great place loads of parking and bargain's to be found if you live near go in the week because the weekends can get very busy

As always you spend far more than you expected to, but who can resist when the prices are so good. Looking forward to returning

As a disabled man, wheelchairs were available for me if I needed it, which today I didn't. I also have an assistance dog. The staff were obviously well trained in this area, because although I could here them saying or squealing with delight, not one member of staff approached to stroke my dog because they knew he was working. This is such a refreshing change. The were also able to answer queries about stock and helped with the loading. Only one fault I can pick is that by the time I got my Swedish meatballs they were almost cold because of the long wait to pay. Maybe the system should change so that you pay first?

We arrived early, before the tills were officially open and decided to treat ourselves to breakfast in the restaurant. We both had full cooked breakfasts and coffee and the bill was less than £8. Food was cooked perfectly; service was quick and the choice of food items was great. It set us up for the rest of the day. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to eat if you want something cheap and quick. I always have a child's portion of the meatballs which come with mash or fries and optional peas, I think it's about £2.95. Child's meals come with a free piece of fruit too!.Adult portions are twice as big and still good value. Pulled salmon bap at the last visit was good too. Free refills on some drinks

Cant have a trip to ikea without ending with a hotdog!i had a large hotdog deluxe! Basically comes with gherkin relish n onions,was so lovely;i had to double back on myself to go get the ketchup n mustard then back the other way to the car,was ok today cause there werent lots of people but would imagine nightmare if it was busy,when you just want to get out of there. Oh and i got a jar of gherkins of course from the swedish shop!

A trip to Ikea is always a bit of fun and a stop off for the meatballs is always the highlight for me. We went today, pretty much for the meatballs and they didn't disappoint; however the lack of gravy did. Granted, it's a bank holiday and it was perhaps the busiest I've ever seen it, but come on. No gravy? Terrible! I jest. It's not the end of the world and the meatballs were as good as ever.What is a real bugbear of mine is the lack of a regular cola drink on the menu. They serve a selection of sugar free drinks, but these are tasteless, perhaps saccharine laden, insipid variations upon a theme of blandness. I want a cola drink with a bit of sugar please. Let me choose if I want to enjoy such a beverage with my lunch. I don't need Ikea to tell me what I should be drinking. That's up to me. And that's why this is a rating of 4 not 5. Give me my cola back.

Visited Ikea Wednesbury last night as a spur of the moment decision and about 3 hours later we were still there! We firstly fancied a hot drink as it was super cold and were informed if we had the family card pass all hot drinks were free. We joined up quickly and that was a nice touch. My partner ordered a strawberry tart pastry which looked appetising. Refills were also free. Cafe area was nice but basic. Very good value for money of eating a meal not that we did. The store is pretty huge, we took our time looking at the array of selections of home furnishings, etc I have been before but not for some time. Checkout was simple and easy with friendly staff. Come away with a car full of goodies so worth a visit!
