Icaro Lounge in Burnley

The Miami brunch is top tier scran & the sauce (some sort of smoked chilli jam) for the sweetcorn frittas is so amazinggg that we've been trying to make our own at home

Great place .... nice big space with plenty of seating fantastic setting.... great menu and a good choice of drinks .... for all ages, too ... dog friendly.. There is plenty of outdoor seating too ....

Cosy, relaxed atmosphere with a varied menu. Think pimped-up vintage bistro with a ton of lampshades, mirrors and wall art. On Sunday evenings they host an informal quiz with a lorra laughs and a small cash prize.

Great food and atmosphere, we've been a couple of times and it never disappoints. Wish nice that it's so child friendly with toys etc

Popped into Icaro lounge with my wife and our dog Odie for breakfast. Fast and responsive service. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming for dogs. I ordered shakshuka, my wife ordered beetroot and feta flatbread. Great combination of ingredients, full of flavours and generous portions. I would definitely recommend! If we ever visit Burnley (or pass through) again, we will definitely come back for a meal at Icaros lounge.

Visited for the first time with friends with complex allergies. My Friends were almost apologetic with their requirements. The Waiting Staff were Excellent, nothing was too much trouble! Thank you once again. Will be returning 😉🤘

Took my daughter on a Saturday lunchtime. The music was a little on the loud side but it has lovely decor and a cozy atmosphere. We had tapas and we definitely can recommend the salt and pepper squid, the beef brisket chili (quite spicy but we love that) and the maple BBQ chicken wings. Fairly busy but quick service and easy to order at your table via your phone. Definitely worth a visit

The place from inside is well decorated Yesterday afternoon 2pm there , it was 2 members of staff I really wanted to have coffee Exepr espresso, I asked the lady may I have one but please can you put one sugar in the cup before you pour the coffee because I like the sugar to dissolve by the hot coffee and I would like it double, she said no problem and changed me 2.65 paid by my card. I sat outdoor, after 10 minutes the coffee came to by the other member of staff , he put it down then I started to drink straight away the coffee smells beautifully but it wasn’t double as I ordered it , it wasn’t worm , it was no sugar as she agreed with me. I took the coffee back to the lady I said you didn’t put sugar as we agreed to gather, she replied the sugar is over there I am here to pour coffee the in the cup only. I said if you told me this before I could get the sugar myself or don’t purchased it. She totally ignored me and carried on what she is doing, I asked where is the manager she said I am the manager. I just left the coffee in front of her and walked away.

Came for brunch and it's a bit of a local hidden gem. No need to venture out too far when you've got this close to home! Cozy atmosphere and the veggie breakfast was brilliant. Definitely recommend ☺️ Great service from the guys and gals.

First visit on a Friday night meal in town, just having drinks & check the place out. A lovely atmosphere with plenty of seating, beautiful interior. Outside before entry there is a Menu board, I was delighted to be informed they also cater for Vegans & Gluten Free menu. Had a lovely slice of Lemon drizzle cake, other friends had beer/wine from the bar, also hot drinks available. Open from am all day various food is available.

We've visited several times, and each experience has been fantastic. From cocktails to main courses and tapas, the food and drinks have consistently been exceptional. The atmosphere is vibrant, edgy, and fun, creating the perfect setting for a great time. The staff are always friendly and polite, adding to the welcoming vibe. We always enjoy our time here—highly recommended!

Good food and great atmosphere.

We went here for an evening before my daughter’s wedding and they served 22 people. All the food was hot and served very quick. Great service from all the staff. Thank you

Love the vibe of this place and the drinks are great. The food however has been disappointing on multiple occasions. Don’t complain though because the higher ups don’t like that. You won’t be listened to, you’ll be belittled, they’re condescending and patronising and don’t value their customer

Lovely place that has an old school vibe to it. Influenced by a few different places around the world foodwise. Seems like it's aimed more towards veggie and vegan options which is fine as there are plenty of meat options available. I went for the chicken kiev burger which was fantastic!! My partner wanted the steak but it was the only thing they didn't have, shame really as he settled for a chicken flatbread with triple cheese fries which was good but not what he wanted and the chips only had 1 type of cheese which was slightly disappointing for him. They have a brilliant drinks menu and the cocktails were lush. Went for the cherry bakewell, it was fantastic. Also the craft beer was tasty. Brill atmosphere and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu. Different to all the other restaurants in Burnley which is refreshing.

The staff were wonderfull first time here and not the last they were amazing with our little one and us well done staff (team ) each time you all passed each other you all smiled at each other great team work very well done xxx

Great breakfast. Can be a little noisy, but that's mostly my sound sensitivity complaining.

Great place but what let it down was the chip portion for £3.50 it was the smallest portion of chips I'd ever been served, not sure why it was so small it wasn't even an infant size portion. Overall a great place though but need to look at that portion size it probably worked out at about 20p per chip lol

This restaurant is niceee, recommendable to go out with friends. The food was great loved every bite and love the cute little ketchup tomato container😆. I also love how they ask costumers a couple of times if we have any allergies.

food was amazing. service was good however you do order through a QR code so it’s not as personal as i’d like. but when we did talk to the staff they were incredible and attentive. the atmosphere is stunning and the vibes are immaculate. there was even a little section of toys to keep the little ones entertained. we opted for the tapas and it was divine. the only thing i’d say is the salt and pepper squid isn’t the salt and pepper you’d expect it to be. it didn’t have much seasoning on it at all really- however it was still delicious. i would 100000% recommend

Lovely option for locals. Love the decor and the vibe. The waitress that served us was absolutely fantastic, really efficient and friendly. The food isn’t my typical go-to but still really enjoyed it! Will be back!

I have been here many times it is one of my favourite locals post nestled right in the town centre there's nothing more convenient after a day of shopping! Every time I come here the food always amazes me. The staff are super friendly and always welcoming. The food is amazingly priced by it sometimes the wait for the food can be a little long during the busy period but I assure you it's worth it! The staff are always happy to help with any questions you have about food or drinks and always there if you haven't already been to icaro yet I highly recommend going!

Relaxing, chilled atmosphere, great service and food. There's a reading area and a little area for kids to play. The coffee could be a bit stronger.

Really enjoy the place, been a few times now and I always come away impressed. Was there tonight with all the lads. Food was great and the service better. The ladies on the front made a few mistakes with the orders but were excellent in rectifying them, very friendly, apologetic and sorted them fast with extras to sweeten it. To be honest, in my opinion how a place deals with mistakes is the biggest marker for how good a service actually is and they get top marks from me for that.

Dog friendly, love the water station and ten games to play food tasty services with a smile and quick. Cheap for what’s on offer. Thanks will be back

Food was so tasty. My first visit was for my daughters 21st pre meal before going out. Atmosphere was fab, food delicious, drinks fab. All round great. Will certainly be coming back xx

Nice portion sizes, would have been slightly more on the plate as I'm a hungry guy! Drinks are expensive but it is a restaurant so it's to be expected and there is a big selection of drinks too.

I came here for tapas and some cocktails. I enjoyed the drinks menu as it has a lot of options to choose from. The food menu has a variety of different options, from tapas to salads and burgers it caters to a lot of different tastes. I enjoyed the all inclusivity of everyone theme too.

Visited for Mother's Day, as wife won a competition on social media. Brought our 3-yr old daughter and the in-laws with us - everyone really enjoyed it. Food was spot on, staff and service superb. Will definitely visit again!

Absolute Garbage. Only half the menu was available. The food is frozen cooked. My burger was filled with sauce to detract from the poor quality burger itself. The bacon was burnt. Sent it back. Only for them to bring it out again in less than a minute, telling me that was burnt cheese not bacon. Shocking waste of money! No loo paper in the toilets. Never again !!!!!

Rude member of staff who took the order incorrectly resulting in being overcharged....to which she said was my fault?! Customer service nil ...food ok...kids screaming and crying....not the best

Went for lunch, I ordered chicken flatbread which Wasent good, it certainly dident look like the one in another reveiw, nothing was homemade on it, and it Wasent very warm possessed chicken which I counted 7 small peices, peppers that were cold and looked they had come out of a jar, and not worth the cost, my daughter had burger which was good. Looks like weatherspoons inside but a lot more expensive.staff were friendly and welcoming but scruffy concidering they were at work, you could not determine who worked there or who was a customer I won't go again.

One of the best places in Burnley for food. Lots of variety, vegan/vegetarian friendly. Tapas options too

We came to celebrate a birthday in this restaurant and we felt good because the food is nice, we did not know that it was a self service restaurant, but that is fine, order on the bar and get your drink at the same time so it convenience, like the music choice and the variety of food is great, it’s dog friendly almost, cause it comes with rules for the furry friends, and for the humans too as stated on the canine code at the bar, kids are allowed to run wild tho 🤪 But all in all it’s a great experience for the celebration 😊❤️

Great place good atmosphere unique menu with plenty of choice

Unusual place this, a chain place clearly with the attempt of looking like a well worn in tapas bar in some far flung destination. Me and a few old colleagues got lunch here and I was impressed with the food and service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Also a nice surprise with it being dog friendly so brought my puppy along, and was nice to see a couple of other dogs in there too. It wasn't overly cheap, but I'll definitely come back. I had the lamb shawarma and I'd definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience from start to finish ! There are plenty of car parking spaces at the front of the restaurant. Great disabled access ! The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious ! Lovely and clean restaurant with plenty to keep children occupied. Would definitely visit again ! Tapas Tuesdays are now on our list.

USE IT OR LOSE IT. Seen so many restaurants that try but fail in Burnley. The Icaro Lounge deserves to do well, but like all business they need customers to support them. We visited for the first time today and we both agreed that the place is a breath of fresh air to Burnley. We were apprehensive of going in, as most new restaurants don’t normally meet with our criteria, the Icaro lounge somehow did. We enjoyed the food, the warm relaxed atmosphere, the eclectic mix of furnishings and decor, plus the polite friendly service, all reasonably priced. We will definitely revisit and try more of their delicious food and hospitality. Well done to the team at Icaro lounge, you’ve gained two more customers. I just hope that you’re here for the long haul.

Lovely quirky interior and friendly helpful staff, food and drinks, lots of choice. Food delicious reasonable prices.

Staff you couldn't fault, unfortunately at 1pm they'd run out of the offer on soup and half a pannini. Settled for a piece of chicken and a few chips on a plate for £12. Expensive for what you get and didn't even put the coleslaw on the plate which is specified on the menu. I had a group of 10 friends who were due to go the week after but advised them to go elsewhere

It's what the town needs. Some where nice to relax and not worry about the day to day trials and tribulations the government has put the population in.

Had flatbread ok but was like a pizza base . Slightly overpriced as very little chicken on mine . Nice place to view .

the food at this place is 10/10 we had a meal at about 1pm today and i still can’t stop thinking about it🤣 had buttermilk chicken and it just melted in your mouth absolutely perfect and the seasoning? man. i could eat that all day everyday 🤌🏻

Disappointed in the food, took 30 minutes to arrive, I had the chimichurri burger, given that chimichurri is normally a strong taste it was barely there on the burger, as such it was a pretty bland burger. My wife ordered onion rings as a side they came out and it was 2 small onion rings, £2.20 we both had to laugh. The servers were running around and doing a good job so didn't complain to them as its not there fault, but portions and flavours need working on!

I went 2 times to this cozy lounge bar and restaurant. Last time I went with my husband for an early breakfast during this festive season and we absolutely had a great experience! I ordered pouched egg and tea and my husband ordered cheese sandwich. Both meals were tasty . The service was good and staff were very friendly. They check if everything is ok after we received our order. The atmosphere of the place and decor are really nice ! It feels so cozy . I absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a nice restaurant in Burnley inside the town centre as it’s located next to the main market and center and also only few minutes to the bus station.

First time on this place today. I called in for Breakfast , it was really good. The Icaro Lounge is a very nice place to be in stands out from any other place in Burnley, Good food and great staff and the Decor is really nice , and yes I will be going in again without a doubt. Great new place .

This place is new and fresh the inside of the building has that old style interior that you don't see now days and the staff are very helpful and generous. Will definitely be coming back

Absolutely my new favourite place to relax and enjoy a wonderful eating experience with family and friends. Time your visit for after a visit to the new cinema and stay for the rest of the evening.

Excellent food value for money and 5 star service

I don't like leaving bad reviews. I thought it was just an off day. We bought the flat bread. It was just like a soggy cold pizza. Base was too hard to cut on the edges and soggy in the middle. I had very little falafel topping. Friends food was processed chicken. Others were the same as mine cold, soggy, and not nice. They need to do better, or it will not last. They even ran out of wine another night and asked the customer to go buy their own and bring it in.

Dropped in for lunch and wasn't dissapointed. Dog and kid friendly too.

Great food lots of choice, lovely people serving. But only 3 stars as the place was freezing had to keep my coat on.

The portion was small and very salty came away still hungry . Went home had a sandwich won't be rushing back there

Really wish I could of rated higher, ordered soup to later be told there was a problem with the soup so had to order something else, fish finger sandwich but wasn't the nicest, dry and dripping in oil. Service was ok but nothing to write home about. Really disappointing to say its a new shop in the new complex in Burnley. Won't go out of my way to visit again.

Best food in Burnley! Fresh and homemade tasting and not too greasy. Mezze salad bowl is great! Friendly staff and fun atmosphere.

Funky bar/lounge/eatery with a great selection of good food. It’s self-service food and drink ordering, paying in advance. We’ve eaten dinner here, the tapas was tasty, all the dishes were lovely. I’ve had the Miami brunch here too, which was delicious!

workers were really nice, however food was either really greasy or really dry. i had the onion rings and then chicken with bbq sauce

Early tea with the family. It is really pleasant though there is the standard issue a deaf person suffers from in a modern venue. It is all hard surfaces, so it sounds like a cafeteria, and I can't communicate well. It needs some acoustic panels in the roof and walls to just to damp it down. Soft furnishings just would not fit. The food was fabulous, be brave, and the menu really delivers.

Such a good place to go with pretty much anyone. Games and baby toys available. Understanding and helpful staff. Lovely food.

A beautiful place to spend time.

Visited this new venue for lunch, it was very busy but i was shown to a table straight away. The food was lovely, only thing is you have to go and order at the bar as the barcode to order at the table didnt work, this was a problem as i was alone and didnt want to leave my bags unattended

Been today with my daughter and grandson. I ordered a burger and when I received it it was raw in the middle. The others enjoyed there's they offered to make another. By the time I received it the others had finished there's. Staff was very nice.

The food at the lounges is usually a dependable choice and the Icaro lounge was no different. The food was really good, we enjoyed a Vegan burger and a Mezze salad bowl which were delicious. The vegan options available are always pretty good at the lounge, with a full separate menu, and a good mix of comfort and whole food options. The service was a little slow with regards to drinks and there was no indication that there were separate menus for allergen sufferers and vegans, so unless you've been before, you wouldn't have known. One of the staff also cleaned up a dog water bowl and didn't wash their hands before then clearing and setting tables which wasn't great to see.

We came to celebrate my mum's birthday this evening! Absolutely amazing service, amazing food and amazing atmosphere. I've worked in the hospitality industry for 6 years and so I feel like I understand the pressure and stress of working in a restaurant/bar and these guys hit the nail on the head! The whole experience was lovely and we were left in a very good mood! We will definitely return!!! Thank you to all the staff working, especially the man on the bar (didn't catch his name) xx

Absolutely loved it, so good to have somewhere like this in our home town! Food was amazing (vegans and gluten free well catered for) staff friendly and the whole place is a visual delight! They even have games like domino's and connect four to keep the kids (and adults) entertained.

First time visiting today and did not disappoint! Came for some food to celebrate my partner’s birthday with the children and so glad we did. Food was absolutely amazing, the choice on the menu was brilliant too, lots of different styles of food, my other half loves burgers and chicken and I always opt for Asian inspired so the menu options were brilliant for us! Kids menu was really good too, lots of choice, and a good drinks menu for them. Atmosphere is lovely, doesn’t feel like you’re in Burnley when you’re inside haha! Just what the town needs, something new and refreshing. Will definitely be back.
