Steak Pie, delicious - mash lovely and soft, gravy succulent. Asked for an iced latte and got a hot one :(

Food was lovely as always highly recommend the steak pie.

The mac n cheese had no flavour what so ever the French toast was all burnt the rest was nice

Was really disappointed with service and food we asked butter in one baked potato and a big blob butter put in wrong one . Side salad was a joke and my companion couldn’t eat hers as not enough filling she told waitress this and got no apology just said ok. Won’t be back and was considering this to host event. I deal in hospitality and would be notified if someone complained never mind say ok and not offer make amends

My family and i recently booked here for after a funeral at Hurlet Crematorium for a family member. We went for the Bronze package which includes sandwiches, sausage rolls, tea & coffee. The spread was lovely and there was lots of it! Plenty for everyone and more! Great wee bar also. The staff were amazing and the prices are brilliant!! Plenty parking spaces also. Would 100% recommend this place for any function..big thank you to you all! 👏

Was there after the funeral a list food was arranged and agreed but on arrival they had decided to remove options without concent and then it took an hour to start giving out food to guests also tha amount on offer was pitiful would not go back.

Attended for Breakfast this morning. I sent to the restaurant first, but no responsibility taken or apology given. Steer clear if you can. Hi, I would like to express my disappointment at the experience I had this morning for your Breakfast with Santa event. I arrived at 10.30 as suggested on your Facebook page, to find the car park full and still more cars arriving (clearly overbooked). On entering the restaurant we were attended to and the seated along side another family (like a school canteen), squished in at a window, having to chamber over chairs to get to our sears and my husband had a Christmas tree directly behind him so could barely move. There were 2 crackers between 4 and we were seated for about 30mins before anyone took a drink order. No information given about breakfast. I had a tea which the pot was leaking when I told the server (when eventually my husbands coffee was brought) she proceeded to ask us to pay for the drinks, rather than get me a new pot. The other family we were sitted with had to ask if we could order and food then took another 30mins plus. No one was around to bring us to meet with Santa, so we had to do this off our own back, there was absolutely no organisation apparent at all. Our breakfast was served when we arrived back and the 'full' breakfast was on a side plate. Food was not great either. The while experience was a shambles and from everything that was overheard from other customers the feeling was the same over all. I felt really bad for the staff, but the event has been poorly managed. Staff said they were understaffed l, but I still don't think this would be a reason to be running so badly. To charge £12.95 for an adult and provide a tiny breakfast and not even include a drink is a bit of a joke. Kids were starving as food took so long, but they were happy enough with Santa, and pancakes. The one positive was the 'real' Santa. I would like to request a refund for the adults part of this as I say food was not good all very greasy and absolutely not worth the £12.95 that was charged. As far as I cab see it was a greedyoney making scheme that has fell very flat. I hope you will receive this message well and respond soon.

Apart from the Santa this was single handedly the worst breakfast I have ever had . Squeezed into a table between a window and Christmas tree with another family . Nowhere to park . No service. Had to ask 5 times from drinks and food. Food disgusting and greezy tiny wee portion for £12.95. Staff run off their feet not got a clue what's going on. Tried to serve a bowl of beans on the table between 2 family's. Family's complaining all over the place. Absolute greed and over booked. Won't be coming back. Kids wanted to leave they waited so long. Absolute disaster ! The amount of folk looking at each other in disbelieve was embarrassing 🤣🤣

Avoid, utter shambles. Went for breakfast with Santa. Won’t be back. They tried to fit in far too many people, several families complained and left as not enough room. Breakfast took an hour to arrive. Santa hardly spoke to our son. Overheard staff swearing with kids around.

Me and my family visited here yesterday for lunch. We were seated, and 10 minutes later, drinks were taken, then food orders. The food was quite a wait for our macaroni to arrive stone cold. One of the orders was a breakfast where it was specified what was wanted on the plate. The macaroni was reheated. However, it was still cold in the centre and bottom. The breakfast was remade but missing one requested item. It was one thing after another, and the server did not seem interested and did not apologise. She just carried out the task with hostility. Then the staff member was overheard complajning she was stressed and speaking about difficult customers. While we appreciate that is a difficulty in any workplace, it came across as unprofessional and just uncaring. No apology, no sincerity, and just awkward. The food was not all that, and it was frustrating that we had to go back and forth. Dont recommend it. Another couple had to send their pies back for being cold and opted to leave. Apparently, there is a new chef.

Attended after a funeral, the hostess was pleasant however the elderly "waitress" left a lot to be desired. The bowls of soup were dropped on the table spilling the soup. The other plates were thrown on the table with force, I've honestly never seen an elderly person have a tantrum and I don't think a funeral was the place to do it. We waited 15 minutes for one drink order and the other never arrived. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Very disappointing first visit and last. Breakfast was a joke very small portions. The smallest egg one tiny bit of bacon over cooked black pudding and as for the fruit pudding looked like something my cat pucked up Nothing like the picture of the breakfast on their menu. 2.50 for a coffee 2.50 for tea. It won't last if they don't up their game Would never recommend them. Maybe try the Indian next time

Went here with my sister-in -law on 1st April and what a disappointment!! The place was empty apart from our table and another one occupied.The menu was nothing like the one shown online and food was terrible and sparse.I had to send my meal back and my sister-in -law couldn't eat her veg as it was so hard. The menu was more like a cafe fast food menu,with only 3 or 4 choices for mains and only 3 choices of starter.I called to speak to management,but was told I couldn't and to leave them a message on FB,which I did.They have read my message and chose not to reply!! They won't be caring much as the restaurant is soon to be an Indian restaurant,same management!!.Doesn't matter what it is going to be.I feel totally let down and won't we visiting again.Once bitten!!! Footnote: I have since tried to contact them again only for them to block me....oviously they have no excuse for their poor food and bad service!!!

Dug cooked the steak. Could have used the tomato as a snooker baw. Chips honkin. Will be back.

Just gad a light lunch at this wonderful restaurant. Food was just the right amount and delicious. Well worth a visit for a bite to eat. Will definitely be back in the future. Keep up the great work.

Food was lovely but service was terrible. Took 3 hours to serve 3 course meal, restaurant was freezing cold, no heating at all. Ladies toilet only had 1 out of 3 taps working. Was not the staffs fault but management has a lit to answer for

This place is a hidden gem absolutely brilliant wee restaurant, great service and great food. Best restaurant we have been fir a long while. Cheers guys

Menu's were nothing alike with what we'd expected after booking a table, portions were tiny, definitely pre-prepared and nothing of note whatsoever. Would rather have had a McDonalds to be fair, even though that would have been our very last option. Won't be back EVER!

It's a wee jem. Think its just been taken over again. The menu is small but the food is great. There was 5 of us who went after work we were the only ones there I think because it hasn't been discovered yet. The service was discreet but attentive. Will definitely be back.

Went using the current two course for less than £10 menu. I don't know how they can possibly afford to do it at such a price but the haggis bon bons were huge and tasty. The fish tasted really fresh and lovely (would have happily paid double for it). I'll definitely be back and recommend it for anyone thinking of going.

We had a nice lunch, very tasty with extra chips that we did not have to pay for.

I was at my neices hen party on Saturday night 3.9.22 and everyone that was there cannot compliment the staff enough for making our night so great they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed there was no waiting at the bar the girls that were on were so attentative to us thankyou so much the buffet was beautiful and the dj was excellent thankyou all for giving us such a great night i would highly recommend your place for any function and look forward to seeing you all soon as we plan to come for lunch once again thankyou. bridget scott .

Staff are ultra helpful and friendly. Food was great. Only gripe is that both my friend and I are disabled and the disabled toilet was out of order and has been for months apparently. This is totally unacceptable and disappointing as my friend is in a wheelchair and cannot use the regular facility. Get the disabled toilet fixed and I'll upgrade to 5stars.

Lovely place, relatively quiet as we arrived just after it opened. Lentil soup, steak pie, sticky toffee pudding who could ask for anything more. Lovely.

Delightful place, small set menu with simple food cooked very well, service was spot on, although it was quiet and midweek, looking forward to going back

I’ve just returned from having my daughters 21st birthday dinner. We booked the private function room at the back. I couldn’t find any fault! Everyone enjoyed their meals the atmosphere was great, the waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating, went beyond even offering to decorate for us! The room itself was very inviting and warmly, to suit our needs. A Bluetooth speaker available to connect for music. My daughter finds it difficult socialising due to her anxiety but she thoroughly enjoyed herself and said she had a great night! Thank you to The Waterfront Staff, from the Millar family… we will highly recommend!

I went here on 15th May and was looking forward to a roast beef dinner. I waited 20 minutes, not too long, but when it came the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding was cold. My partner got his hot burger at the same time. I told the waitress my dinner was cold and she returned it to the kitchen. My replacement took another 20 minutes to appear, by which time my partner had finished eating. My dinner had obviously been stuck in the microwave as plate was roasting and Yorkshire pudding was soggy. Why it took 20 minutes to stick in microwave I have no idea. I was given a half hearted apology from the waitress but no offer of even a free soft drink. Needless to say neither my partner nor I had the desserts we were planning on having. The waitress who took our drink and food order, not the one who served the food, took our details and said she would enter in complaints book. We are now on 19th May and no contact from the restaurant. Needless to say but we will not be returning and will let others know not to visit either.

Excellent service yesterday for my mother's funeral. Faultless. Well done the brilliant staff.

Couldn't find the place was there after funeral..sausage roll sandwich and cakes ..sausage roll was terrible...sandwich mainly not suitable for what I would eat. Cakes dreadful....wouldn't waitress not friendly but waiter was lovely and helpful....

A lovely restaurant doesn't look that big from the outside but once inside there is more tables through the back & you have the option of eating outside as well along with a small play area for kids, staff are friendly & the food was nice if anything wasn't right they would change it cocktails a bit dear apart from that I would go back. X

Monday Spring Bank Holiday. Booked a table for 6. Sunny and warm so booked an outdoor table for dinner, what could go wrong? Turned up at the door and got ignored by staff. Had to walk into the restaurant to find a member of staff for service (who wasn't masked), then just got told to just grab any table we want (it's 6pm and it's mostly empty in the restaurant and partially seated outdoors). No menus given to us when we sat down and then waited for 20mins for them to offer us drinks. So I had to go in again to search for staff just to get us menus. Then got told that only "nibbles" are served outdoors (chips, onion rings etc) instead of their full menu. Shouldn't we be told this when we booked on the phone??? We then requested to sit indoors for a full service. Got told by the female staff member that she would have to check that they have availability (in a mostly empty restaurant), then she never came back and carried on serving other seated customers' drinks instead. We just stood up and left. A table of 6. Probably £250-300 spend. Would that not be helpful to your COVID-hit business?

Just noticed on my bank details I have been charged £77 for a bottle of proseco i was in a round with ppl at my table today we where paying cash for our rounds and I was using my card to pay for bottles of prosecco tried phoning to enquire but answer told me their box was full so what I will say is check they are charging you the correct order when paying by card

Ordered delivery..steak pie. No probs with steak or pastry..veg selection not fresh..cooked from Iceland at my best guess. Chips nice and thin but looked and tasted like they had been cooked over and over again. Sorry.. wont order again. Oh misses had mac cheese ..no complaints

We had my sons Baptism afternoon tea here yesterday and it was lovely. Our afternoon was very relaxed and stress free, thanks to the staff at the Waterfront. Sandwiches, scones, tea and coffee were great! They had outside seating and a kids play area, that our room look out onto. So the kids were kept busy.

Typical pub grub was ok forgot part of my order only one knife to butter my bread with starter and cleaned it to eat main meal

If it was rated on food it would be 5* , food was awesome ,1. mushrooms 2.pate and pizza to share £30 👌👌cooked lovely Service was shocking , 4 weans and no manager or maybe one was manager 🤔 food brought out before cutlery, having to ask for Cutlery and given a spoon for mushrooms 🤣🤣🤔🤔, ordered coffee and Tia maria to finish ...forgot the coffee...wont be back ...pity was looking forward to a nice new boozer in barrhead 😥😥
