Nice Pho. Reasonable price. Distinctive green colour building which is hard to miss. Friendly staff. Slightly out of the way from the rails but otherwise good place to eat.

Hung Viet. Кафешка расположена недалеко от Geffrye Museum, почему, собственно и была выбрана. Вьетнамская кухня. Помещение напоминает бывшую столовку. Было время ланча и нам пришлось стоять минут 10 у входа, прежде чем официанты смогли посадить нас за столик. Все было занято. Людей было очень много. Нам показалось, что это хороший знак. В плохое заведение люди толпиться не будут. Проверено. Так и вышло. Ждать заказа пришлось не долго. Официанты носились как угорелые. Еда оказалась вкусной, а порции огромные. Тарелочка супа около одного литра! (Сама не ела, но видела, как дама моих лет с тоской смотрела на этот супчик, когда ей принесли его после холодных закусок.) Итого за два горячих, салат и чай и пиво счет составил 22 фунта.

(2 out of 5)Cleanliness = Very clean with zero complaints. (5 out of 5)Service = Service was great. Not complaints. (5 out of 5)Food/Restaurant = The food was nicely flavoured but the saltiness was too much (in comparison to many similar places). The rice was very oily. The bread and salad was good. (3 out of 5)Overall Experience = For the restaurant level pricing, I would expect a bit more in terms of flavours and not an over reliance on salt. I did try this once before the Government' August 2020 'Eat Out To Help Out' incentive and it was better that time. I don't mind paying a higher price for a 'difference' whether quality or quality. (3 out of 5).

176 Clarence RdI have lived near the stated address for several decades. There is not now and never has been an Italian restaurant called Bella Vita on Clarence Road.

239-243 Mare StreetMe and an old school friend have eaten here a couple of times. The food is very good and very reasonable priced. The décor is of somewhat faded grandeur. The staff were both friendly, attentive and efficient. I recommend it.
