Humber Royal Hotel in North East Lincolnshire

I only gave blood there so I couldn't comment about the facilities offered. We don't even get to see a member of staff. Then again we don't need a Meet and Greet encounter (client interface) You do need to sort out the two sets of double doors that don't close though. When it's windy lots of people look annoyed that they can't Name That Tune in 20 minutes. Went to a 50th wedding there onve, everything was excellent. Shame the Limo driver didn't know about the limited access. Seemed odd that the happy couple eventually had to be reversed into the reception, but in-house was excellent Cheers, Mick.

Rooms are great, really big, and the beds comfy. All of the staff are really helpful and friendly, make you feel welcome. Great views over the golf course. The food is really good, lots of selection, freshly cooked and again, service super polite and helpful. It’s a bit dated in The outside but don’t let that put you off. Thank you to Jason and the team there, 5 stars for you all.

Good Location. Nicely furnished rooms and interior. Breakfast very good.

There was damage to the shower, some of the tiles where stained and along the side the bath had mould on. The room was so hot i had to turn the heating down. ALong the corridors towards my room number 341 shown signs of damage and in a poor state of repair. I feel this does not set a very good first impression of your hotel. I have pictures of the bathroom. Also lighting in room was very poor

It was okay. Looks better on the inside. My room didnt have enough lighting and the breakfast was satisfactory.

Do not let the facade fool you, it may need a little refresh on the outside but inside is an elegant and very well presented hotel. The staff are welcoming and very helpful and the breakfast I had was absolute quality, great product cooked to perfection. The outstanding thing for me was the fresh coffee.. simply amazing, had to take one away before I left 👍. Thank you all at the Humber Royal

Can't fault the hotel, staff, service and food, would definitely stay again.

Jan25: Second visit to this hotel. Staff and service brilliant. Evening meal and breakfast top drawer. Rooms toasty warm, clean and quiet. Will be booking a room for another trip to area in Feb25. We'll recommend.

Visited Humber Royal for New Year's Eve Party recently. Service all night excellent by all staff and 3 course meal also very good. Entertainment by Rubble Band(?) started well but they copped out later unfortunately. Only real complaint was the seating arrangements.. Sardines springs immediately to mind ..far to many people per table which would definitely stop us returning. Enjoyable evening...but cosy!

Although it looks a little bad from the outside, the rooms, lobby and dining room are nice, and the employees are friendly. The cleaning girl is really meticulous.

We have just returned from our Christmas Dinner and again we were blown away with the quality of the food and the excellent service provided by the staff. We have tried various venues of the years both local and further afield but we returned to the Humber Royal after last year’s meal and we were not disappointed. Thank you to all the staff that worked hard to make our meal special

From the outside not a great looking place inside was real nice great staff spotless place would go again great place to have a function

I have enjoyed staying here twice now. From the approach, it's a bit drab, but once inside the place is nicely decorated and feels cosy. The rooms are comfortable and clean if not luxury but they have everything you'd need. Dinner was good - the portions are very generous and drinks reasonably priced. Breakfast also good - my only comment would be that it could do with a few more self serve options for those looking for a speedy departure who don't want to wait for a cook to order. Above all though, all the staff are so friendly and helpful - which does make it feel rather homely in spite of it being a decent sized hotel.

Nice hotel with lovely staff. Good location to access anywhere in the local area. Rooms are comfortable but could do with a bit of a spruce up and some upgrades. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, expensive and greasy. However, overall I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful place next to a golf court with exceptional employees willing to help you at any time.Tremendous vibes and best beer 🍻🍺🍻 in town "Tetleys" for sure you will enjoy it there....fantastic vibes perfect to relax.

Great location, I donate blood here and the parking is always available, clean and tidy.

I came for a 1 night stay at Humber Royal Hotel on business. I was first greeted by Callum, he was very helpful and accommodating when i needed and Iron, this was sent to my room immediately! I had dinner in the brasserie which was lovely, i was served by the lovely Rachel, very pleasant and accommodating and very efficient. i didn't fancy a dessert, however Rachel which she didn't have to come over with a chocolate bar which just hit the spot! its not about where you are in the world, its about the service as coming originally from a hospitality background myself, which was great! Would not stay here myself I went for a avent but would not stay there.it is in very much need of renovations inside and out.more outside.

Stayed here the night of our wedding and it was a lovely, spacious room. Everything clean and the breakfast was brilliant 👏

Good night sleep in a super king size bed. Room and bathroom modern and clean. Food was good in the hotel restaurant. I would highly recommend the home made steak and ale pie and the homemade sticky toffee pudding. A lovely cooked english breakfast in the morning with real coffee and orange juice. Every member of staff was friendly and professional.£100 deposit required on check in as some previous guests have been a bit disrespectful in the rooms.

Friendly staff and room was brilliant with small balcony overlooking the gold course. 2 chairs and a table along with chair for work desk was brilliant for a relaxing room setup. Great for work trips. Food is good. Well priced. Great service, staff incredibly helpful. Only qualms would be beds aren’t the comfiest and it needs a lick of paint on the exterior. I would stay again.

Hi guys, I can’t be more pleased than choosing the Humber Royal Hotel for my stay in the area for tonight. Lovely view, reception girls and most importantly the kitchen staff, especially Marcus, who served our dinner. My best seafood linguine I have in my entirety life, very tender and tasty 🤤 🤤. Cheeseboard to go…🤫 Very recommend and surely will be returning 👌 Very, very happy customer x

I was there for a very solemn occasion. A friend's funeral. Only stayed till the family went to the cemetery. Then home. It's nice in there but beverages are sky high prices. Alright if you've got an American express card. Not for me this place.

Hotel looks a bit dated from the outside. However once inside the rooms are excellent very quiet and with balcony views, ideal for a good night's sleep. Bar area was fairly quiet, food menu was a bit limited. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Visited for coffee and a teacake or scone as advised having called ahead. On the telephone I was told they only do lunches on a Sunday but teacakes or scones would be available. On arrival we were told there was no-one in the kitchen so no scones or teacakes could be served. Waiting long time for service then left for a cafe to get our teacakes, scones and more coffee. Sadly Humber Royal lost business today.

I have stayed in this hotel maybe 6 or 7 times and it's great. From the outside it doesn't look the best I know...but inside its completely different. Staff are friendly and always helpful, the rooms are a good size and well priced. Even better, if you get a balcony room you overlook the golf course which is a great view.
