Ordered salt&pepper box....£17. Sure not a bad price, but expected more for it. It was in a container that places put a 1 person meal in. Curry sauce pot is pathetic too. So none of it adds up to the price. Also, the egg fried rice was plain, bland, no seasoning etc....and NO EGG!! The Chicken: too crunchy, could barely bite into it. Barely seasoned so we even gave a piece of chicken to the dog who usually loves chicken. He spat it straight out. He couldnt chew it! Baring in mind, our dog has chewed through wood, through all his tough rubber toys. Hes a bully breed so a simple piece of chicken should be like a sponge to him. Says a lot when even he couldnt bite into it. The whole thing was awful! If youre going to charge £17 for a small box, i expect it to be good quality food. NEVER ordering from here again! Also rushed delivery. Quick delivery is usually good, but for awful quality food, it says a lot. Delivered 20 mins after ordering it. So basically no cooking time at all. Highly recommend AVOIDING this place!

This has got to have been the worst Chinese I ahve ever gotten!! we got the prawns in satay sauce, dried bbq ribs, egg fried rice and some other things. There were like 5 prawns in the prawn dish which was over flowed by onions and peppers which weren't even cooked properly, the ribs were just pure bones no meat at all and the egg fried rice was just plane white rice with abit of scrambled egg in it and No flavour whatsoever. Do not recommend! Horrible food. Will never go here again! I'd rather eat cat litter

WORST. CHINESE. EVER. INADEQUATE. Food was 30 minutes late upon arrival, all of my prawns were simply mush, overcooked, and in a plain tasteless sauce, as well as being overflowed with a percentage of 90% vegetables. Absolutely awful, furthermore, the ‘egg fried rice’ was just regular tasteless white grain rice with a fried egg stirred into it. This place is a serious avoid, unlike any other chinese i’ve ordered from. You’ve a better chance picking up the ‘chinese buffet for 3’ meal deal from tesco than this disgrace.

This is my favorite Chinese. Very good English language. Really accommodating of different diets and allergies. I am gluten free and take my own gluten free soy source which they are happy to use. Alternatively they can cook it without. Very good vegetarian and vegan options and rice dishes can be made vegan by removing the egg. Not had a messed up order here unlike with other local Chinese shops 5 stars from me.

Second time ordering, I enjoyed the food first time to the point of ordering again. what just turned up though is very poor indeed, the rice was one big lump, my main was 50% onion which was practically raw, some of it was still stuck together, tiny little pieces of chicken and there was clumps of something on the salt and pepper chips that were inedible. I literally had to go spit it in the loo. Huang Lou Xing if you don't have resource to make my food properly don't accept my order, won't be ordering from you again.

I don't know if this restaurant has changed hands but the food is awful. The sweet and sour sauce is flavoured water. The salt and pepper prawns are extremely dry and verging on the side of inedible. This used to be a really nice takeaway.

Had an awful experience ordering from here that resulted in my whole family getting severe food poisoning for 3 days. Tried to resolve this with just eat as I ordered directly through them. Had no correspondence as yet.

Sweet and sour chicken balls were cremated and inedible. Curry sauce came in a polystyrene pot and must have been so hot it actually melted the pot so had a paper bag full of sauce. Terrible. Do not order from here under any circumstances.

The special fried rice was exactly how I like it too be Tonight I have ordered the same plus king prawns with bean sprouts and curry sauce so will post about that Hopefully all is lovely again

Absolutely disgusting! This place used to be good but no more. Waited over 90 minutes for food. It came cold and the bean curd was disgusting the onion was raw everything was cold and gross went in the bin and they refused to give me a refund! Avoid avoid do not order from here

I used to order from here several time a week. Never again the food is disgusting I waited over 90 minute for delivery for food that was disgusting it was cold. The bean curd had raw onions in that had never seen a pan. Absolutely appalling! Avoid avoid avoid

Spent £41 to get food poisoning!! My family and I had food from here and it was delightful until the next morning we was all vomiting with diarrhoea, I definitely would not advise people to eat from here.

Chicken rubbery in chow mein bbq sauce conjeal to a jelly like form rice too stodgy think they have changed chef if not raise your standards again please total waste of talent chef aught to be ashamed wouldnt serve the same quality food as I received to a dog disappointed

I decided to try again, now I have a delivery once a week, full portions, fresh and tasty, great value for money, worth trying you'll not be disappointed.

The best Chinese restaurants the foods so delicious and warm.delivery on time.I will definitely order next time when I'm in sheffield 😋

My wife and I ordered a curry, when it arrived it was so cold we had to heat it up in the microwave. The sauce was so watery and was tasteless. Do yourself a favour and DON'T order food from here, its a waste of money. We will NEVER order from here again

Food has no flavour and turned up cold despite being 5 minutes from my home. Noodles I think we're cooked last week

I have just spent £55 on a takeaway, I can't believe that the chips, the simplest of all things to cook on the menu are absolutely disgusting, old and cooked more than once, I telephoned and she blamed it on the delivery from the wholesale, if they knew they were s*** then why send them out and not get some more from another supplier! , she didn't even offer to bring some more out and take the old ones back, I have now just called again and demanded some fresh ones, we have got friends round, watching football, trying ton get things back to normal, you think they would be grateful of the trade!!!

Me and my Partner decided to try a different Chinese (we normally use Mong Kok and we will be using them going forwards), food arrived in about 20 minutes, My Duck rolls were drenched in grease, filled with bean sprouts and had about 3 or 4 pieces of duck in them, which were all chunks of fat. My salt and pepper chicken was incredibly salty, half the pieces were just batter and half the dish was practically raw onion. My partners salt and pepper box was bland, mainly raw onion and everything else was a mystery battered item consisting of: water chestnut, green pepper and bamboo, tofu (which tasted like dirty water and was spat out) and rotten tasting mushrooms. Unless you're interested in trying the worst Chinese food in Sheffield, maybe South Yorkshire, avoid at all costs.

Food lovely apart from the sauce to go with the duck there sent gravey 🤣 but staff very rude made a order and it come to £99.10 a man called me back and said there would not be delivered when I asked why he said it’s a fake order I was ordering for 12 people I explained this and he said order from some where els so I called the shop back and spoke to a lady who said the order would go ahead 5o minutes late I called back asked where my food was to be told the driver as been and I did not answer the door the lady said she would resend the order witch she did I will not order again from here because off the rudeness off the man

Would not recommend anyone to visit. Requested a delivery. Waited over an hour for the first part as only part of the order arrived second part arrived 30 minutes later. All food was tepid we had to reheat and also very bland. Disgusting 🤮

Food arrived an hour after we ordered and drivers were inefficient are locating our address. Food that was delivered was cold and we were missing items from our order. In the sweet and sour CHICKEN there were prawns and a questionable other meat. The ribs were extremely dry and had hardly any meat on. There was no flavour to the chow mien and the noodles were mushy. We r still waiting on our missing items, god knows when they’ll be delivered, we just hope it’s before we graduate uni.

Food arrived quick enough but was a little bit cold. Other than that tasted great (my cats enjoyed the chow mein and the beef with mushrooms too), combo starter platter was a bargain and was just the right amount of food. If I could improve one thing the egg fried rice could have done with more frying because it tasted more like egg boiled rice. Im sorry but this was absolutely disappointing dont order from this place . The food was clap cold, the ingredients and food used is super cheap(legitimately throwed in ham and chicken sandwich fillings, into the dishes i was given) then charging 6- 7 quid plus ? Not even remotely acceptable. Absolutely tasteless, tackless care for quality for food, just dumped it in the box, eaither used the bare minimum sauce a(the chips and chicken had 2 teaspoons of salt and pepper sauce and i wished i was joking, the chicken even had bits missing from it namely the actual chicken it was deep fried bits at best)was dryer than dry or smothered it into mush. Honeslty now im speechless.

It took 1.5 hours for food to arrive (ordered directly from their website.) We had to chase up with a phonecall and it still took ages to arrive. The food was nice when it finally arrived but disappointing because it was almost cold.

Paid for Egg fried rice but not brought with the order. Hardly anything in the so called ‘special’ chow mien. Chicken curry not edible. Could only eat the prawn crackers. Would never ever order again or recommend.

Ordered food on their website easily enough. 1 hour later food arrives. No egg fried rice but sent chips and spring rolls instead. Eventually managed to get through on phone to complain and they asked for my address 3 times. Kept asking which website I'd ordered from as if they had no knowledge of the order. Food bland, in bin. Mixed vegetables with cashews was so fresh and tasty. This is the only Chinese we will order from. Great service and delivery.

Ordered through deliveroo and never received the food. Waited well past the delivery time only to be told they knocked (we live in a flat and never got buzzed) and rang, which they didnt.

This place is amazing. For everyone who says it takes forever try delivering some food when there’s a football match on 24/7. They use good quality meat at reasonable prices. They have very nice staff and is by far the best in Sheffield

Good speedy service, delicious food, good price, with plenty of meat in each dish. A good balance of noodles and vege in the chao mein and not too much sauce. Everything I have eaten here has been delicious and it's my favo take out on the street.

It took over an hour to arrive and half of the order wasn't correct so I rung up and they said they would send it straight out. After 40 mins I rung again and asked for some money to be knocked off for the incorrect order and the time I've had to wait which they said they wouldn't do. Didn't receive the rest of the order!! Not impressed won't be using again!!

Quoted nearly 45 mins for delivery, took about 1hr 20 and really wish I had not bothered. Soup was like leftover dishwater, no taste whatsoever. Sweet and sour sauce tasted like vinegar, the chicken chow main was bland, burnt and had next to no chicken and the salt and pepper chips were soggy and unappetising. Really disappointed and £22 spoilt, do yourself a favour and ignore the ratings or make yourself a sandwich.

Decent takeaway, do a nice crispy shredded beef and unusually has options for the size of fried rice!
