Very fresh and very tasty and the driver was friendly and appreciated.

First class food full of flavour and meats. Hot on delivery and as good a takeaway that I have ever had. Looking forward to the next occasion already.

We ordered a set meal for £27. Sweet potato on the menu wasn’t available . So ordered tofu which had too much salt. I used to like food from there before but most of it tasted horrible . None of the items were labelled . So confusion there. Shame we were looking forward to a Chinese . Waste of our Saturday night treat.

Ok so this is the second time I’ve ordered first time was cold but the food was fab so I ordered again and only got a chow mein but it had burnt vegetables so the entire chow mein tastes burnt I’m so sad

First time ordering everything was nice and hot when it arrived. Prawns in oyster sauce had plenty of prawns. The satay chicken was good as was the special fried rice. Forgot to order prawn crackers and no free one’s provided but never mind. Would try them again next time

probably one of the worse chinese I ever had first gave us someone else order, then came and give us ours but also collect the previous order even though we told them we had opened it due to not knowing was wrong ! food quality is shocking chicken taste like pork chinese is usually my favourite please dnt waste your money

Fantastic Food, highly recommend the crispy chilli beef, crispy and saucy get in you little dancer. Excellent value and everything was spot on and delivered early too! Definitely, the new favourite

Over 2hrs late and was stone cold had to reheat then throw whole meal away as it tasted not good

The meal wasn’t very warm, rice watery and I found something “suspicious” in the satay chicken!

Food was reasonably priced. I’ve had better. Duck in plum sauce was nice, salt and pepper chicken was nice, rice was sloppy, Salt and pepper chips seemed inedible. Overall not a terrible experience but it was a cheap take away.

Foods gone down hill, seaweed looked like it was off before it was cooked. Il be back when the food hygiene rating has improved.

First time trying Chans. Excellent traditional Chinese meal. We had 8 different things and all were good and it arrived hot, and a bit earlier than stated. Sweet and sour sauce very nice. Will order again thank you

ordered at 4:30 for 7:20 delivery. No sign of food at 7:30. phoned and told its just about to leave. or was it? they messed up so I cancelled. how do I get refund? No options on Just Eat so I will have to go to Chans tomorrow to get the refund they said I could get via Just Eat. not happy

Firstly said there was a problem in the kitchen. When I pressed her she said they’d lost my order ticket, but they’d be out in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later Kept saying it was on its way it’s now 90 minutes late. Absolutely ridiculous. No way of cancelling ( that I can see ) I’ll never use this app or them again

The crispy beef was very dry and chewy, too dry to swallow had to take it out of my mouth like a ball of string. The rest was ok not the best I’ve had sorry to say but good side portions and free Prawn crackers.

I live half a mile up the road the food took 25 mins to come from when he set of form the shop. Food cold bags aren’t sealed it’s just an absolute joke. Never again

The chicken fried rice tasted off. There was an horrible after taste I couldn’t finish eating it. I’m not sure if they have changed something but that is not what the rice normal tastes like

We order our food at 17:40 and it didn’t arrive with us until 19:20. Food was cold and delivery was extremely rude and walked away when we asked about delay. Highly unsatisfied and will definitely not be recommending to anybody.

All the food was very nice - however, when I received the order, one of the items was incorrect (pineapple chicken rather than plum chicken). The pineapple chicken was, however, still very nice

Lovely king prawn chow meins (with sauce), very tasty, piping hot and juicy king prawns. Complimentary prawn crackers too.

Not ordered from Chans for some while and tonight wished I hadnt . Sweet and sour sauce with king prawn balls was like water and no taste to it. The king prawn chow mein was vermicelli and not the usual size noodles, tasted like mush!

ordered for 7 15 due to work commitments. app kept saying 7.15 delivery. at 7.32 rang up to be be told it is still in the shop and will be about 20 mins. arrived at 7.55 with no prawn crackers on a set meal so driver had to go back to shop to get them

Chow mein was burnt and contained very little. Prawn toast was hard with very small amount of prawn topping and was soaked in fat. Very thick batter on sweet and sour dish, disappointing!!

Delivered in time and lovely food as always. But it was disappointing that one dish was pork when I ordered chilli salt and pepper chicken wings!

I absolutely love this Chinese I've never gone to a different one since trying it. it's the best I've ever had and Chinese is my fav food! I've used them for years the quantity you get is massive but the quality is perfection the chef is amazing and the service the repetion and delivery people are lovely. amazing food at prices your pocket can afford. 100% recommend

Ordered food for my family. I was away, Ordered sweet & sour chicken balls for myself, I thought will eat them next evening when back home. And a surprise- no sweet & sour dip included! Chicken balls only

Its always hard to place an online order when there are no descriptions of the things your buying, only; “Special Fried Rice” without and description of what it might entail. Regardless of the descriptions we think we know our way around a chinese take away menu so what we ordered was pretty much what we got on delivery. Although we were staying less than 500m away the order took over an hour to be delivered, even though at check out it was indicated as 35-40min. The Special Fried Rice was not special, it had no discernible texture or flavour, the rice felt more steamed than fried and the chicken and other meats literally had no flavour or texture, just pulp. The Sweet and Sour HK style Chicken was tough and flavourless The chicken had the texture of meat that has freezer burn leathery and bone dry. Expensive bin fodder. The redeeming platter was the Szechuan Mixed Veg, tasty, flavoursome, enjoyable. So in a £23.00 meal, £6.00 of it was edible. We wont be ordering again and if we could give it minus stars we would. Utterly dreadful.

The first time we ordered from Chan’s we thought it was amazing and would be our regular go to Chinese takeaway. Tonight however it did not meet expectations… our food was cold, my mixed starter tasted stale and the fried rice was bland. The chicken balls were missing the sweet and sour sauce (which is what we liked so much the first time we ordered) however we were able to receive a refund for this. The meal overall was pretty disappointing and we’ll think twice before ordering from here again

Order never delivered. Staff on the phone treating me like a criminal and trying to absolve their responsibility. NEVER order from here

1st time and last time i will order from Chans.. The food is abysmal.. No flavor at all, everything tasted the same .. The salt n pepper chips where soggy and had sugar on them instead of salt.. Everything ended up in the bin.. Total garbage

the prawn crackers seemed as if they were shop brought. not as thick as usual. sweet and sour sauce was more fruity . batter on chicken balls quite greasy. has the shop changed hands since Jan orca different chef?

I ordered food today for my mum, who was fancying a chinese, and I'll always recommend Chan's - she called me when she had gotten back home with it to say how impressed she was with the special fried rice in particular!

food was freezing cold, had to put everything in the oven for 10 mins, then pot lids melted so had to cut then open with a knife, then it just tasted overdone, very dissapointed

Ordered at 17.51. Food arrived at 20.00 an hour after the delivery window of 18.50 to 19.10. Food was fine but delay was unacceptable.

The first bite I took was so orgasmic was like a party in my mouth. The sweet n sour sauce was so sticky and voluptuous my bf licked every single drop off my finger.it was to die for he says. At first my bf was a little sceptical about ordering Chans chicken balls think he’s found a new craving. Not to mention the curry sauce which really helped to spice things up👅. The meal also added a creativity spot as the S&P chips were so greasy but made use of it in the kitchen;)Love chans.No complaints
