Hot Dog Hut in Sheffield

Tiene que ser uno de los mejores lugares para comer algo, no dejes que su tamaño pequeño te engañe, los perritos calientes son increíbles, también los hacen sin carne. El propietario es súper amigable y realmente genial, ni siquiera tienes que usar su nombre real, solo dale el nombre que quieras, le encanta; ) Y, extrañamente, las fichas también son increíbles.

La comida es deliciosa, con muchas opciones y un menú "haz tu propio" si quieres algo especial, tanto los hot dogs que tuve, el tocino y el queso azul como el perro de chili cheese fueron increíbles y tenían muchos ingredientes sin ser un gran desastre para comer . Además, este no es un chile afrutado, ya que tiene un sabor y especias reales. Los hot dogs son gruesos, pero el trato de comida con papas fritas es una comida adecuada, mi segunda visita opté por un batido en lugar de papas fritas porque probablemente no podría comer ambas. El personal es excelente y el propietario, como han dicho en otras críticas, está claramente orgulloso de lo que tiene y, con razón, favorece la calidad del servicio por encima de todo, cuando visité había un nuevo miembro del personal que tomaba pedidos que claramente no tenía experiencia pero estaba ansioso por aprender y ayuda cuando sea posible. La oferta de comida es 4. 50 y creo que 6. 50 con un batido en lugar de una lata de refresco y por su dinero obtendrá una porción completa de comida. El lugar en sí, a pesar de no estar en una gran área de la ciudad, es agradable por dentro y está limpio y bien mantenido, y definitivamente tiene el tema de la cena estadounidense. La crítica más fácil de 5 estrellas que incluso he escrito no puede recomendar lo suficiente.

Con este lugar dentro de un tiro de piedra de mi lugar de trabajo, ahora he frecuentado este establecimiento 3/4 veces y siento que ahora puedo dar una revisión honesta. Las excelentes ofertas de comida son perfectas, lo que le permite elegir un perro, bebida / galleta y papas fritas, todo para 4. 50. Siendo 3. 50 si optas por el clásico hot dog new yorker. Hasta ahora he comido el azul ahumado y el chili de carne. Ambos con excelentes sabores y todos los ingredientes que se complementan entre sí. El propietario es paciente mientras eliges y es un caballero muy agradable. Para una comida o comida rápida, definitivamente recomendaría esta joya de lugar.

Después de echar un vistazo a este lugar por un tiempo, decidí entrar y probarlo. Comí el italiano (queso, tomates secados al sol y pesto) con una salchicha vegetariana, papas fritas y una bebida para 4. ¡50, gran variedad de ingredientes disponibles y grandes tamaños de porción, el tipo detrás del mostrador fue realmente amable! La salsa picante que tenía para las patatas fritas era absolutamente perfecta también.

What a gem! We ordered 10 hot dogs for a work lunch and it was amazing! The menu is excellent and the value is great. £5 or so for hot dog fries and a drink! Will definitely be going again!

Me and my boyfriend noticed this little hut only a couple of weeks ago and we knew straight away it was somewhere we wanted to try out. A lot of the time it’s hard to find restaurants that welcome vegetarians and it can be hard to find people that respect this way of living. However, the gentleman who runs this place was super friendly and respectful when I explained that I was vegetarian, he went through the menu with me and reassured me of what I could and couldn’t eat, all of which was signed “v” on the menu board. This made me feel at ease and super comfortable with eating here. The open kitchen also allows customers to watch whilst the food is being prepared which I thought was interesting and made me feel more relaxed. I ordered from the meal deal which cost less than £5 for a hotdog, fries and drink. I ordered the veggie dog with cheese, grilled onion and jalapeños. The food and service was really good. It was definitely one of the best veggie hotdogs I’ve had and I’ll be looking forward to returning here. The restaurant overall is cute and has a very friendly atmosphere, it’s quite small inside, however there is space for quite a few people to sit down and eat. I loved the vintage/retro feel with the decoration and we were super surprised at how cheap the meals were compared to how good the food was! Will definitely be returning here!

I was really looking forward to visiting here after reading the excellent reviews online and it was even better than I expected. My hot dog- I ordered a 'Reuben'- was absolutely delicious and cracking value. The toppings were generous and the sausage itself was excellent. There are lots of great choices and great meal deals, plus some tempting-sounding milkshakes. The owner is a top bloke, really friendly, proud of his business and clearly works extremely hard. We were talking about how so many exciting things are happening at the moment in the local area- this wonderful place is going to be a key part of that.

Visited here several times and love it. Always fantastic service and really great food. Everyone should visit.

Plenty of choice!!! Great prices! I had the blue cheese and bacon dog with fries and a milkshake!!! Our next team build lunch menu of choice! Also do veggie dogs!

Somebody at work recommended this place so 3 of us called in for lunch. It is tiny but has about 6 stools to sit up against the window table if you want to eat in. The décor is really good - American diner style. The guy serving is so friendly, polite and professional. My friend asked about a veggie dog and he explained what it was made from and the toppings she could have. I had the chilli cheese dog with chips and a strawberry milkshake. I'm not usually a fan of a milkshake but the person who recommended the place said the strawberry one was "out of this world". I have to admit, it was very, very good. The dog was good with just the right amount of chilli and cheese so as not to make it difficult and messy to eat. The chilli was really nice with a good kick. The chips were good. The veggie dog was really good apparently - she had the "Reuben" which was different cheeses, pickled cabbage, gherkins and thousand island dressing. She also had a chocolate milkshake which she made short work of and assured me it was amazing. My other friend had the same as me. My meal deal with the shake was £6.50. The other meal deals are £3.50 and £4.50 with soft drinks. Card payment is available. I liked the wooden cutlery, the sachets of lemon wipes to freshen up after. There were quite a few customers while we were there and I really hope this guy does well because he deserves it. He's put a lot of thought into the venture and the quality of food and service is excellent. We all agreed that we will definitely go back and try more toppings. He is open Monday to Friday 11-6pm. Closed weekends

My girlfriend went to find me something for breakfast in bed at the nearby Ibis after a late night gig in Sheffield. Came back with the prefect BLT Frankfurter hotdog (with extra jalapeños obvs). Delicious, carefully thought through, friendly service and a decent coffee to boot. Highly recommend.

Been a few times now and this man clearly takes pride in his hot dogs. Higher end of the hot dog spectrum but also very reasonably priced as well. Although there isn't much else down this way to interest a visitor to Sheffield its worth the trip.
