Horseshoe Bar in North Lanarkshire

OK for a few pints. Traditional bar. TV'S showing racing. Locals outside the bar were friendly.

Great wee pub, staff are friendly and welcoming, good pints and always someone to chat to. Fair prices as well. Cash or Cards accepted. No food available but food can be brought in, The atmosphere is always good no matter what time of the day.

Was in in Sunday had a gd night left to get my train and was accused of stealing a 1 pound Brolly from the pub the staff were rude to my pals and blamed me of taking it I was wearing a 200 pound jacket witch was up on the shelf with the Brolly witch probs fell wen I removed the jacket I was the told by my pals That the rude woman who she said owned the pub found her brolly on the floor witch fell from the window don’t accus urs customers before u look

Can’t believe the absolute cheek of the staff in here telling trans people they need to use a specific bathroom or leave. Vile and illegal. I’d rather munch on cigarette butts from a soaking wet outdoor ashtray covered in crackhead piss than step foot in such a horrible, discriminatory place. You’re lucky these women are too polite and non-confrontational to file a lawsuit. It will not be left in the dark though. Disgusting behaviour.

Thought i had stumbled upon the pub scene from shaun of the dead, turns out it was just a normal saturday night!... had a few drinks and staff were great to be fair

Frist visited on my 18th birthday! First stop after getting of the train every time I visit Motherwell, I've been drinking in the Horseshoe for 41 years,best bar in the town!!

On 1st visit to Motherwell from Cape Town great spot lively nice crowd music great vibe lady owner managed interacted with us and the regulars a definate revisit next time. Can't fault the efficient and friendly barman all good David Mcgraw

Brilliant night at the Horseshoe in Motherwell. Works night out last night and we had a fantastic night. Big thanx to the bar staff who joined in with our antics and made it the best night.

Headed in here between connecting trains from Yorkshire. Sound as. Shame they don’t have any hand pull beers but nice overall. Hope the owner of the speccys and phone I found in the bogs is reunited with them

A bit of an old timers pub by the couple of times I've visited, alright range of drinks and staff customers seem nice, but drinks prices are steep (£3.40 for a pint of lager) and gents toilets are a bit grubby. Not a bad place but not a favorite I'm afraid.

Need to be in early to get a seat. Place is always mobbed. Cheap drinks but it can very clique at times.

Nice pint of Tennants lager. Shame about the decor, could really be doing with a makeover and tidy up.

It's a bar you can relax in and enjoy, everyone is welcome & made to feel welcome by the regulars. Nice happy bar staff also make you welcome.
