Hong Kong Garden in Ealing

So today I ordered from here via just eat and within 5 mins the restaurant called and asked if I could cancel the just eat order and they’d do it cheaper for me so I said that was fine, I even said because of that I’d give a generous tip as a thank you. Almost an hour later I’m sat waiting so called them back on the number they called me as soon as I asked where my order was he hung up and I’ve called 3 times since and had no response. Absolutely appalling to be honest as I’ve always ordered from them never had any problems and now this. Sorry but I will never order again.

What happened to hongkong garden? The food is extremely salty and it is not the first time! Has the place changed ownership or the chefs has changed? Most of our food went to bin! Atrociously ridiculous! Will not go there again! Waste of our money

Whilst I understand that it’s a busy night. Waiting an hour and 45 mins for my food to arrive is bit of a joke. To then call and chase the food to be hold can you wait another 45-1 hour because we’re busy. If you can’t handle a busy night then you shouldn’t be accepting orders off other 3rd party delivery services. I definitely wasn’t happy with the customer service at all I wouldn’t recommend them as when they are running late no one lets you know and you just get told “well cancel then”

My husband had food poisoning last night (30-3-19 at 8.45pm) after having the Singapore fried rice and chicken satay. He threw up several times and had abdominal cramps and nausea throughout the night. I reckon something was wrong as both dishes had chicken. We have eaten there before and were fine. So perhaps a one off incident enough to put a person off for a while. I hope the cooks do pay attention to their hygiene and hygienic practices.

Pedí algunos llevar hoy por primera vez, y realmente me sorprendió en el buen sentido. La comida tardó un tiempo en ser entregada, pero vale la pena esperar. Pedí el arroz frito especial, carne en salsa de frijoles negros, gambas, sopa agridulce, chow mein de cerdo. Toda la comida era excelente ya un precio menor que los demás en la zona. Volveremos a ordenar de ellos otra vez.

Maybe not the most outstanding Chinese food we’ve tried, but perfectly fine - especially for the price. Very quick delivery and quite cheap vs other options on the area. Will definitely return.

Have used Hong Kong Garden on and off for several years now for delivery orders. Food is always good quality and very competitively priced and they pretty much always get the order right. My only niggle is that I give specific delivery instructions and almost every time they ignore them and the delivery guy rings the bell for the wrong property - it's very annoying for my neighbours and it's annoying that I give the same delivery instructions EVERY time and they just don't take any notice... Which is why I end up not using them for months on end.

Cheap food that tastes great. This is my go to Chinese takeaway. The chicken curry is amazing and the pineapple fritters are great. The portions are good too. Would highly recommend this place!

After trying very hard to find a decent and cheap chinese takeaway in west London, I am glad I have discovered this place. The Hong Kong Garden restaurant offers a large variety of Peking and Cantonese food. Me and my wife had three dishes: Sweet and sour chicken balls (£4), mixed vegetables with black bean sauce (£2.80) and mushroom with curry (£3). All dishes were very tasty, fresh and the portions size were good - great value. I collected the food at the shop and the service was very fast (10 minutes only) and the staff were very polite. They also accept debit and credit cards. Highly recommended!
