Holiday Inn Preston, an IHG Hotel in Preston

Fantastic stay here recently. From arrival until we left, every staff member we came in contact with were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. All up for a chat including the housekeeping staff. It was really refreshing. Free parking, able to check in early and close to everything in the centre. The beds were comfortable and room was clean and presentable. Only downside is the bathrooms definitely need renovating in this hotel. The rooms and communal areas are lovely though. We would happily stay in this Holiday Inn again. The staff here deserve all the recognition.

Had a 1 night stop over, on a coach holiday travelling up to Scotland. For that reason it has 5 * for location. The room was superb, spotlessly clean, the beds were so comfy, and lovely toiletries, quality towels etc. The whole place is clean and has a great ambience. Dinner was great and so was the breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. What an absolute delight. We will be looking to use this company again as we have never stayed in one before ***** highly recommended 👍

Made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. All staff have been so welcoming and put us at ease during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Preston.

This place is an experience in itself. Stayed here for 5 days everyone right from reception to cleaning staff deliver an implacable service. The breakfast was superb and on request they helped me with my dietary restrictions as well. Their restaurant has fabulous food options and quite moderately priced. Worth every penny spent !!! Splendid experience !!!

Great location for the town centre. Easy walking in high heels for a night out. Breakfast was brilliant, and the rooms were great. Overlooking the main road but soquiet. It's a little too hot for us but ok. Room space clean and big beds. Dove shampoos and body wash brilliant when you forget your own stuff. A good place to lay your head for a night out in Preston, which has great shops and bars and lovely restaurants. The markets are a treat.

Nice clean hotel . Excellent service. Not good for parking with coaches

The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are nice. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. My only criticism is that the noise from the corridor comes into the room very easily, and you can clearly hear people coming back from a night out.

I stay in a lot of hotels and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the staff were all very nice and the room was decent. Only gave 4 stars because parking here is a pain and the road is a little noisy at times in the night. Breakfast was very good except they ran out of bacon 😲.

Stayed a couple of nights, very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful, Breakfast well set up and plenty of choice.

Nice location close to the office, parking was small for the size of the hotel but as I arrived on a Sunday there were a few places free. Dropping down to two stars as on my second visit a month later after a hard day's work, and there was nowhere to park. It's so bad someone parked on the roundabout and there are three cars in the disabled bay that aren't disabled! It's a lovely hotel but for work trips going forward I won't be staying here..

We was in a coach party and for evening meal they putvus in a corner of the restaurant so when we got down there was no table for two weeks would have had to sit on separate tables which was not good

My dad and I came to stay in Preston for one night as my football team were playing. Great location to the ground. Only a 20 minute walk. Very happy.

We stayed at the Hoilday In , Preston. Very good and positive experience. The room we stayed in and hotel was very clean. The staff very helpful and polite. Special shout out to Yasmin who was working on reception, very professional and courteous in her approach, she is a asset to your organisation.

The teriyaki salmon is sooooo good at the bar.

This central Preston hotel is adjacent to the bus station and a 3 minute walk to the town centre. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, who made my partner and I feel very welcome. Each member of staff I encountered were excellent ambassadors for the company. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable too. Breakfast was fantastic however the evening meal was very disappointing due to a inedible soup starter.

Always very friendly employees. Stay in the rooms from 1-4 floor, above too much noise from the wind coming in through the window.

A nice and reasonably priced hotel with very positive, friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced and comfortable bar. My room was clean and ready on arrival. The room decor is pretty basic but absolutely fine - could see some obvious repair work had been done in the bathroom after water damage to the door for instance, but really all in good shape - just don't expect a high gloss finish...

Quiet, updated rooms and a decent restaurant on site. Breakfast is good with great service. Easy walk from the rail station as well. It's a quiet hotel, some rooms do face onto a junction which can be a little noisy if windows open.

No safety box and no refraigerator in individual room....

Overall good experience with staff and service (Lorraine and Sean during breakfast service are great and credit to the hotel). Stayed for 5 nights for business, and it was a good experience and location of the town. Rooms are clean and decent size, amenities are also good (Dove shampoo and wash). The breakfast available is also above average and well prepared. If you are lucky you will get a free parking space (you need to put your car registration at reception). The main let down is if there are no spaces, you will need to drive out and loop around the hotel to park at the bus station directly opposite. Tips: The Bus station car park costs £6 (24 hours) and does not take card on the machine. However you can make a payment on card via Ringo App. Also when you drive it, I would recommend parking straight away on that 1st floor near the first pay machine (closet to the hotel, after taking the stairs/lift).

All ok. Food fine, service excellent, clean rooms.
