There for a wedding, over the past couple of days. Rooms were clean airy and obviously well kept. Staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. Location was great, just off the A14

Great hotel, doesn't feel cheap like other brands. Polite and helpful staff, clean tidy rooms and good food in the restaurant too.

Wonderful location just outside of Ipswich I had a long day traveling through the countryside on a road trip the wonderful staff member upgraded me to a larger room. I am from California and happy to see there was an electrical charge station for my rental electric car .

Arrived at this hotel a little tired and moody after a 6 hour journey, however we was greeted by the warmest person on reception who instantly lifted our moods lane made us and our dog feel very welcome she also put a bowl in our room and gave the dog a treat or two. the hotel and room was really clean and met the high standards we have. The breakfast in the morning was really good and the chef was really helpful and friendly, we had a chat and he made us feel like we was at home. The location was ideal for where and what we was doing Great job all round will happily stay again

Excellent coffee and a truly amazing selection of artisan cakes and sweets. Loved chatting with the owner who has such passion and talent. Well worth a visit.

First visit and definitely not my last -loved the concept of creating my bespoke sundae and with such a huge choice there’s plenty of scope for lots more visits! I had Shipwreck and Eton Mess -both delicious topped with cream, sweets and raspberry sauce -absolutely delicious!

We booked a table for two using The Nelson online booking service. When we arrived at the pub there was a great atmosphere. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The tone of the experience was set from the outset with no greetings, just one word "allergies?". Made us feel like a number. The back half of the restaurant was being used for a first aid event, however the front half was available with most tables free. The waiter offered us the table directly next to the entrance, a small table in an awkward location. We said we wanted to be seated in a different location which we were but seemed to annoy the waiter. He immediately asked us if we wanted to order drinks, we had not seen the menu and literally just sat down. After asking for some time, he then sent over a different waiter to take the order. We were happy to see meatballs back on the menu so ordered them as starters and ordered spaghetti bolognaise and penne with creamy chicken with mushrooms. At best the food quality was average. The bolognaise could easily have been a ready meal from a supermarket. The creamy chicken was better but quite bland. Overall the whole experience was expensive, unfriendly, low quality in service and food and once home our digestion suffered from the low quality. We have been to other Prezzos in the past such as Norwich and Witham and the experience at these locations was much better. Unlikely to be returning.
