A solid business hotel that works just fine (but I can't really call inspiring). Floors 3-5 are closed for refurb at the time of writing. There's plenty of food options nearby, but the amount of building work in the vicinity detracts a bit (not the hotel's fault, of course). Would I return? Yes

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre recently for a one night stay, and although it’s not a particularly attractive hotel on the outside, the inside was the polar opposite. One thing that really shone through during my stay was the staff. Everyone we came into contact with during our stay was friendly, helpful and attentive, and made the stay even more enjoyable. Because I’m a Diamond member of IHG rewards, we were given an extremely generous upgrade to a Suite. It was absolutely gigantic- I’ve genuinely seen small flats! It had a big separate living area, as well as a huge bathroom with a lovely shower and bath with a TV. The bed was also really comfortable too, so we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast the following morning was also very good. There was the usual selection you would expect, including a hot buffet which was very good quality, as well as a continental selection which was very nice. The location was fantastic, only a minutes walk to Cabot Circus and the shops, and only 15 minutes to the Harbourside. I would however choose to park at Cabot Circus which is a 5 minute walk away, as it was half the price of the NCP car park next to the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay at Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre, and I would certainly stay again when visiting the city!

It was the worst experience I’ve had staying in the hotel room. I stayed with my girlfriend for one night and every time I took a shower, the whole bathroom got flooded. I did report this to reception, but they did not move us. I’ve also taken this up with the hotel management team and have not heard back from them, which is a lot worse. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Rooms looking a bit tired and located in centre of Bristol so difficult to get in and out of. NCP car park underneath hotel and twice out of 5 days my car park ticket failed to work in the machine to exit car park in morning. Had to make phone call to get let out resulting in almost bring late for work.

Staff here were amazing and breakfast was great! We didn't use the gym but it looked okay for a quick workout. The TV was too small, far away and low. It should be either closer or bigger and attached to the wall. The A/C doesn't go low enough and we can't open windows. The jetted tub was dirty with hair and grease, we debated cleaning it but feared this would make it worse. The grouting on surrounding tiles were also filthy and leaked into the tub. The toiletries in the shower were in a very awkward place. Only one half of the shower was lit. The parking was fairly difficult for an SUV to navigate and leave. The room seemed overpriced and the hotel was equally empty. Why are there two reception desks? The curtain was impossible to close all the way and a pillar in the center made it worse, making a lie in pretty impossible.

In the hotel for minimal time as visit was with friends for an event. Staff friendly and a good laugh on arrival, room exceeded expectations at price point. Always known Holiday Inn’s for being well equipped. Iron, decent air con, powerful and hot waterfall showers, plugs in the right places. What more could you ask for? Thanks very much. 🌟

Pleasantly surprised in that it exceeded expectations. The rooms were really clean and tidy, with "be amazing" type scribbles on note pads and mirrors. The staff were super friendly. The gym was well equipped and has a great view of the 'Bear Pit', allowing you to observe the busy city centre. And the breakfast was amazing: tasty, complete and well presented. A great stay.

The holiday inn, bristol city centre is ideally located to explore the city centre and all its attractions. We stayed here to go to a gig at SWX, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It is also 15minutes walk to the river, close to all bars, restaurants and shops The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and great shower The NCP car park is adjacent at a cost of £20.00 / day subsidised We can recommend the cafe Amore for breakfast, again 5 minute walk from the hotel We can also recommend a restaurant Little French, 10minute uber ride or 20minute bus ride Would recommend staying at this hotel and would return

Superb hotel in the centre of Bristol, we checked in at 10.30pm and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Same this morning and Leon went out of his way to help me. Clean spacious room and great restaurants and brunch venues all within walking distance.

Firstly the staff are very helpful and professional. Sadly the rooms have seen better days and clearly arent inspected by higher mangment. Lighting that didn't work and loose fixtures in the bathroom, jet bath that didn't work unless you stay and hold the button in. Obvious signs of diy to repair past leaks or damage to walls and tiles. Lots of guaranteed parking spaces in the NCP carpark under the hotel. Breakfast was good with a varied range of hot and cold foods including a few hot vegetarian options. Location is good for shopping and eating out, bus stops opposite for exploring the rest of Bristol, we managed to walked everywhere.
