Ho Ho in Barking and Dagenham

my meal was spot on but my partner wasn't as happy with his

First time trying here on the recommendation of a friend but I won’t be coming back. Special fried rice was ok, Singapore noodles were way overcooked and soft, chicken curry was ok, crispy chilli beef was crispy but didn’t taste of beef it seemed like it was strands of crispy fat, the chips were awful, they were dark brown like they had been cooked in very old oil, any chilli that was in the dishes was burnt as well. Overall poor and we are very disappointed.

Food was very nice and as ordered but had to wait 1 and a half hours for delivery must have been a busy night

Once again sadly not the best this restaurant can supply. the lemon chicken was cooked far 2 long and went very hard chicken and batter. the chips were soggy and warm. prawn balls were ok and sauces were fine. come on hoho u r normally spot on. we know u can do better as a regular customer u r normally the best in dagenham

not the best quality tonight that hoho normally supply. it was just average which they normally surpass. curry sauce was a bit 2 thick and not nice and runny like normal

the food was great except for the salad there was more lettuce then spring onions & cucumber.

App said was Delivered but was still on its way , otherwise was 👍

A Saturday night, so the restaurant was very busy. Food was not only delicious but poping hot too.

Good food but not enough fortune cookies for my whole family

I asked for the chilly oil to be on the side, and they did it. But they still add a lot of chilly on the noodles. For me is not a big deal but I have kids at home, they couldn't eat it even after I scooped the top.

Good hot tasty food could of done with a bit more curry sauce in the bread crumb chicken curry over than that it was tasty as ever

The food arrived after 2 hours and in bad conditions 😣we ordered fried squid and it was so oily with a weird taste (we bin it at the end)….the noodles were very dry and the meat and not well cooked quite hard to chew.overall not a great experience

Delivery was over half hour late so I waited over an hour and 40 mins from ordering!! Plus items missing from order!

Love the food I think it’s one of the best Chinese’s around but what’s going on with the sauces ? The pots have shrunk and we’ve noticed a massive reduction in what we get. Come on sort it out.

Best Chinese food place in the area. Sweet and sour pork balls were so crispy with some of the best hors d’oeuvres I’ve ever had. Sauces were tasty and fresh and food arrived quickly. Delicious! Definitely ordering here again!

Terrible service ordered twice on two different accounts, both times were 2 and a half hours late when rang up didn’t have anything to say or give anything to apologise food nice but never ordering from them again!

I really enjoyed the prawn crackers and fortune cookies that were added with my delivery for free. They were also very generous with the rations. The food arrived early while I was having a bath. Perfect!

Have had better food from hoho but it was alright. The curry sauce was thicker than normal and not quite the same great taste and chips were a little soggy. The chicken with lemon and honey sauce was great. We will use again

Two hours for an order when the restaurant is literally a 6 minutes drive away from my house

I ordered Duck Fried Rice and when it eventually arrived, it was boiled white rice and a fried duck breast, I have had Duck fried rice from here before and always love it, but this time it was just not enjoyable.

Best Chinese in Dagenham by far

Hi, i use to get dinner weekly from Ho-Ho, most of the time food was great, but this time food was cooked like 3 day before and then send it to me ! I realise something was wrong cause delivery came very very quick! I keep the food , I try to have it , but was very very bad, I bin it more then half ! 🙁🙁🙁

I have always used hoho for my orders and I know how their food taste and look like. I was a bit disappointed today , my beef Hofun had about 3. -4 shredded beef in it I could count it it was just the noddles in my dish.

Had the set meal for one. Complements to the chef, the chicken curry was absolutely delicious. This place does some really good food. 10/10

Second time ordering from this place, went with the salt and pepper chicken wings with rice - box set and a hot and sour soup. Great food good again. Highly recommend. 5/5

Ordered the large special house ho fun and chicken and mushroom soup. Food was good, price was good and they threw in some prawn crackers. However, I must warn you that the portion size is pretty big, so defo value for money. Would I eat there again? Yes, I will probs order again there tomorrow or the day after. Depending if I can finish off the left overs.

Please change the honey & lemon chicken - it was off and presentation was not appealing. The rice also did not taste like typical special fried rice. Please amend your recipes.

The Food was amazing, 100% recommended good taste, good portions size. The delivery time is beyond my understanding. I ordered at 6 pm and I got my order around 8pm, the app offer me ETA 7-70:30 but still 2 hours is ridiculous. Do not order if you are hungry!

Over 2 and a half hours late, food arrived cold & and messed up one food item that they now want me to wait another 30-40minutes for to replace it. restaurant has gotten worse not ordering from here again.

Great tasty food Hot and great portion size.

Order a platter and a portion of satay wanted over 2 hours. Hardly mo sauce on the chicken and the platter was so small and at a processor of 14 pounds I complained to the restaurant. And they were rude and dodmt offer amy refund or anything. The platter is slightly bigger than a pot of curry sauce 2 bits of chilli beef 12 chips 2 prawns a 3 tiny ribs them onions and 🌶 disgusting

Ordered at 17.40 and food arrived 20.15 Food is brilliant but delivery has been really bad on several occasions.

3 hour wait on food, every time I rang to ask how long- they continuously told me it is cooking. Ridiculous!!

Avoid, I placed my order at 19:55 and it arrived at 22:35, 2 hours 40 minutes????? and I only live 1.3 miles from HoHo it wasn’t even warm when it arrived and they lied to me when I phoned twice. Total liberty

1hr and 40mins to receive my food order!!! Look at the other reviews on here. Most of them are saying the same “Food is good but the delivery of it is shockingly bad”. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I order from Ho Ho. They obviously don’t care too much about the reviews from their customers as the constant complaint is not getting sorted. Shame.
