Used to love this place, it’s always been a more affordable spot in barking but in recent times the standard dishes went up in price by 4-5 pounds. I understand that there’s a cost of living crisis but the increases have been way too steep and too quick. You can get a better Chinese elsewhere for the same price tbh. The food has been good but I’ve noticed they made their portions smaller too. This just doesn’t feels the same like it used to and it’s very sad

Just finished a lovely plate of crispy fried chicken noodles , I travelled all the way over from tooting south London for the 2nd time in as many weeks . The food is portioned just right for me , vegetables included in the dish were properly cooked unlike some noodle places I've tried ! Staff and atmosphere are really friendly .. Facilities are clean and fresh . Will become my go to noodle place even from right across London!

I ordered today and the service was horrible and they call me saying the food will be late between one hour and 2 hours as there is no delivery 😱after one hour and a half I got my delivery but obviously I couldn’t enjoy it as it was a surprise, I did send an email asking for my refund but nobody replied.

Very rude staff. Noodles we're nice, beef was so tough. Staff Was coming over to the table to hurry you up. I would not recommend this place to eat. Staff need customer service training. Chef needs to learn how to cook.

I ordered chicken curry with egg fried rice for delivery. BIG MISTAKE. The chicken pieces had skin on them 🤢 Who serves customers chicken with the skin on? Yuk. What a waste of £14. I will never order from these people again.

I ordered Black Bean Beef🌶️ with Hofun and Chowmin for delivery. The hofun were so mushy and sticked with each other. I couldn't eat it and had to throw away. The chowmin was bland. Although we instructed to make it spicy they were bland. We added the black bean sauce to it to make it little eatable. Well service was good but food was not.

Lovely restaurant in Barking, its clean,bright inside and most important very good quality cooking.my partner is Thai and they supplied chopped chilli 🌶 without asking which was thoughtful. The staff are all nice people to.i always eat here when I'm in Barking because its a good place.

I come here once a month or so and have never had a bad experience. Last time I got takeaway, they gave me a free portion of spring rolls without telling me, which was a pleasant surprise when I got home. I'll make sure to give them a bigger tip next time I visit.

Unfortunately the quality of food has gone down, normally pre made, prices are extremely high, take away container are very small for that price.. any other Chinese shop is cheaper and better quality… don’t waste your money here…

My wife and I were craving noodle soup, so we visited this place. It was lovely inside, and the customer service was excellent. They gave us complimentary prawn crackers when we arrived. We tried their Big Bow Noodle Soup with beef in Udon Soup—it was amazing and arrived quickly. Highly recommend this place. The staff were lovely, and they even gave us a gift as we were heading out. We’ll definitely be back soon!

When entering the place was lovely, I had wonderful customer service and they were able to wait patiently while I decided what to order, they came with my food very quick and the food was amazing me and my family enjoyed would definitely recommend. I usually order from here and have a good experience however, the last few times have been awful and the way i have been spoken to has not been acceptable. On Tuesday i ordered 33 pounds worth of food and 2 of our items were incorrect upon notifying them it became an issue and we were going back and fourth for a while. We finally came to an agreement however, was told the chef was very angry that he got our order wrong and we were complaining! I stated several times that if the chef was angry i did not feel comfortable with him making anything and i was assured that yhef food would be cooked properly! Upon receiving and exchanging our wrong meal they purposely cooked our food horribly and making the noodles and rice completely covered in oil which is not how they do this i was very upset with how we were treated

This has to be one of the best Chinese i’ve had. They make the best chicken fried rice!! The staff are friendly, professional and most importantly it’s clean.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The portions are massive, prices are affordable, and the salt and pepper chicken and calamari are must-tries. The special chow mein and fried rice added delightful variety. The service is excellent, with a friendly and helpful lady serving us. The cleanliness, fast service, and exceptional food make it a go-to spot. We'll definitely be back for more! The chicken & sweetcorn soup, hot chow mein, and friendly staff made our lunch delightful. Despite initial doubts about the exterior, the inside is clean and bright. Highly recommended!

Just had a lovely lunch here. Chicken & Sweetcorn soup was amazing and nice big hot bowl full. Chow Mein pipping hot & so tasty. Staff very friendly. Its obviously a very popular restaurant, at 12.30pm it was nearly full! I'll definitely be going back!

It’s so hard to find a decent shop these days but I definitely recommend this place there’s lots of seating available I went quite late so it wasn’t busy. The portions are massive for the price and the prices are so affordable so I ordered a few things and took some home I recommend salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper calamari the best things on the menu I also got special chow mien which was also really nice my friends ordered sweet and sour chicken which they said was a bit thin and I had some of there’s special fried rice which was really nice. The lady that served me was really nice and friendly.

Do not order from here!! Their food is so greasy and tasteless! I ordered the egg fried rice, which may I add had no egg in it! It was a greasy, unseasoned, bland mess and the rice was not fresh! I also ordered the salt and pepper shredded chicken and that was simply INEDIBLE! It didn't taste like chicken but instead tasted more like shrimp or fish as if they fried it in fish oil - absolutely disgusting! First and last time ever ordering from here, so annoyed as my order was roughly £16 and I had to spend another £12 to order something else.... NOT COOL! 🙄

Food is good but the female staff r really rude.don’t know how to talk to customer politely.we were waiting to order and we called her nicely.she was in phone.she could tell us nicely to wait for few more time but she became so angry and was talking to us so much rude way .restaurent should teach some manners to their staff.

Sweet and sour chicken was off, it smelled and tasted so bad, I can’t believe they served this to customers. The Chinese waitress was beyond rude! Won’t ever go back there again! I suggest she should learn some customer service or go work in a factory where you don’t need to deal with any customers.

I ordered something and they gave me totally the wrong food. I tried to talk to them they would not even talk to me. they will ignore me and say I don't care I asked for half of my money but they would ignore me and still say I don't care. Totally disappointed and very bad service and very racist .

Very friendly staff, food is exceptional and always up to standard. Price has remained up expectations as the food is always above par. In the whole of Barking there are only 2 Chinese cuisine restaurants that I love and this one has remained Rank 1 throughout the last 5 Years.

The food was really good but the service wasn’t the manager was so mean I asked her for a straw so I can give it to my child because he had his own drink. She would not give it. She’s very racist and rude.

Food is good but the waitress was so rude! I sat on a table for a minute and was checking the menu as I wasn't sure. In the meantime the waitress brought spoons and some complementary crackers. I then decided to takeaway food instead of dining in. When I told this, she became furious about why I sat on the table instead of directly going to the counter and pay first. Disappointing.

Staff at this institution are rude and need customer service training. Not sure if it’s a language barrier or just bad behaviour! This will probably go unnoticed as a business like this doesn’t care about reviews, they just churn people in and out!

I enjoyed the food very much from this place. I got the chilli beef with noodles and prawn toast. Both were tasty and worth the money. Although I didn't eat in whilst waiting I experienced the atmosphere. It nice and open area. However, there is an echoey kind of atmosphere and therefore it can get loud when there's a lot of people. Normally the food from here is very good and i have ordered from here 3 times before and the food was amazing, however today was just not the same. From the Singapore Udon i asked to remove the fish cake and the lady on the phone told me she will do that and add extra prawns or chicken and there was practically neither, and just a whole load of fish cake. I ordered the food at 9:07, the food arrived at 10:20 and half the sauce from the House Special in Black Bean Sauce was in the bag somehow and not the food. Furthermore the Sesame Prawn on Toast i ordered were burnt as well. The prawn crackers bag had like 12 in it, no point even giving it. Not only did i have to wait over an hour for this food, when i only live 14 minutes away, the food was not worth this wait either i'm afraid.

We ordered 4 different dishes for delivery with my family and they sent us Spring rolls as a gift :) the Chicken in Satay Sauce had the perfect amount of spice. Everything was very tasty, great portions for a good price. I recommend you to try the Sweet & Sour Prawns if you like pineapple, you will get surprised I heard the place was very well decorated, we haven't been there yet but will surely visit it next week. I highly recommend it!

This is one of the best places to eat in the UK. The personnel is super kind and they will let you know what is the tastier dish of the day. The service is super fast and the place is super clean, which is the most important thing for me.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I was impressed with everything from start to finish. Staff is very friendly and they gave us a table in a couple of minutes. The restaurant has plenty of menu options and the food is delicious, even the way it was presented was thoughtful and neat. Portions are generous and pretty colorful and each item that I tried was delicious. The chicken comes in a big portion and advisable to share with a friend and it tastes really crispy and juicy. I was visiting London with a friend for a week, looking for an experience not common when it is first time dining. We shared Butterfly King Prawns, perfectly crunchy and crispy; and Chicken Dumplings, soft and perfect in each bite. China Friend's Special Chow Mein definitely brings all the flavor, my favorite. Then, adding the Roast Duck Vermicelli, the experience we needed.

Look at this perfect Won Ton! Me and my friends were struggling about what to eat, theres too many options, everything looks tasty. So i decided to try the Prawn and Chicken Won Ton, best decision of the night. Perfectly fried and the combination with the sour sauce, no words to describe. More than 5 stars =D

Last night I made an order to have dinner with some friends and all the food we had was delicious. We ordered some Chicken Spring Rolls, Crispy Won Ton, a Roast Pork Fried Rice and a Roast Pork Udon Soup. Delivery was fast and the food was well packaged, they even gave some Mini Spring Rolls for free! If you love chinese food, I highly recommend this place.
