Great place to get takeaways around ~10min wait. Food tastes great and good potion sizes.

This is my first review I’ve ever had to leave, but I had to do it because the order and the food was so bad along with the customer service and by looking at the number 1 to 5 in the reviews, you can see why the shop is rated how it is I ordered a portion of chicken balls and sweet-and-sour chicken, Hong Kong style, and a special fried rice with no pork and added beef, which they charge me for swapping. The pork with beef which was okay and walked to the shop to collect my food as the delivery was over 45 minutes within a mile of distance of the shop and collected my food and walked back home to find pork in my rice, which I’ve pacifically asked not to have pork in my meal so I called them back straight away with my disappointment and was told that I can walk back to the shop to change my rice. When I ask can I have anything extra for the mistake I was told No which left me very disappointed. I will not be going back to the shop and I don’t recommend anyone else to either. Customer service is not great. I wish the old owners were still there none of the food was great waste your money and find out yourself. Don’t say I didn’t warn you though

I been visiting friends house nearly there.my friends to try Hinloon’s foods . I tried it is freshly Delicious and yummy food politely reliable service will definitely order again from Hinloon.

I’m a regular customer here for a few years, all the staff members are very helpful and ensure that the best quality service is provided. It’s very agitating that there are people who leave fake reviews here claiming that the food is “terrible” as it’s not true. Me and my family have been eating here for a very long time and have never encountered such issues, we usually order special fried rice, salt and pepper king prawn and king prawn balls. They were certainly worth the price and the king prawn balls was not finished after one bite, as they are quite big and always come hot.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I love chinese food so much and I have eaten it since I was young. I’ve found out about this place recently and it’s amazing. The delivery did take slightly long but you can’t really expect a small business to deliver super fast, especially on busy days such as the weekends. I ordered again another time on Monday and delivery was much faster. I recommend ordering on less busier days as the order usually comes faster. I ordered 2 spicy salt and chilli chips(if you ask for more flavour/spice, they will add) sweet and sour king prawn balls and crispy seaweed.

I ordered chicken chow mein and prawn balls. My order was finished very quickly and was nice and hot. The people working there and the owner were all very friendly towards me, therefore I have no complaints on the service. I've seen a couple complaints on the workers, but honestly if you are not rude or disrespectful towards the staff, you won't recieve any back. I've worked in customer service jobs before and I can say that sometimes you get disrepectful people who make straight up unreasonable demands and will come online to spread false information in anger. Overall, the food and service was good - keep up the good work!

Nice food and good service I will be ordering again. It’s very affordable as well with large portions and short waiting time when I come for collection. I’ve been a regular customer since I was 8 years old. I would definitely recommend

They offer great service with affordable food and large portions. Always making sure to pack the container as full as it could be. I usually get special friend rice and I could even customise the order to make it suit my dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered food from this shop to enjoy with my family and the order arrived fast as I had ordered on Thursday which is normally less busy than the weekends. The food was warm/ hot and was amazing. I do not understand how they have so many bad reviews but I did not have the same experience. I am sure that the staff have been changed.

Just Ordered Special fried rice and fried Squid with salt and pepper, never again would I ordered the fried Squid couldn’t chew, very bland I had to throw it in the bin.

The quality of service is pretty good, and the taste is nice. All though it can get quite busy so I tend to order quite earlier in the afternoon rather than rush hour.

To make matters worse, she also refused to pass the phone on to any one else. Eventually, JustEat reported that my order had been delivered, but this information was false. When the food arrived much later, I refused to take it - but was pleaded to accept it and lodge my complaint after. The food I mostly threw out because it was horribly cold, oily and inedible. Nonetheless, after reaching the owner, he refused to compensate because the food was still 'warm enough'!

Never order from this place. Three hours and the food is still not here. Cannot communicate to the people as they can't speak English. On Just Eat it says our food is here .

Have been getting takeaway from Hin Loon for at least 10 years and it’s always delicious. They are always polite and never forget me with a calendar each year.

Will never order from there again! Ordered at 6.50pm foods arrived nearly 2 hours later (8.45pm) after many phone calls. All the foods were cold and tasteless 🤢

Placed order for special fried rice. Was told it was £4.50 for a large. I also asked for the rice to be cooked with fresh chillies. When I went to collect, gave the gentleman £5 and was waiting for my change. They charged me 50p to cook with fresh chillies. I was not told this when I placed my order. I mentioned this and the gentleman returned 20p! Should it not have been 50p as I was not told the price at the time I placed my order? Will not go back as I take offence when things like this happen and they don't do the decent thing.

ordered king pawn balls, they came being just normal small prawns, 1 bite and gone! only ate 3 of them out of the 2 portions ordered (20) was dripping with oil just couldnt eat them, i've never seen anything like it. never will i order from here again.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY Horrible food. An insult to asian cuisine. The lo hon vegetables had no taste and was too watery. The sweet and sour vegetables also barely had any taste, was also too watery. It tasted like the chefs just boiled a bunch of vegetables and dumped a load of Sainsbury's basics sweet and sour sauce. The tofu was stale and over cooked. It tasted like cardboard . Seriously that was worse than prison food. The rice was OK, nothing exceptional. Delivery was great but the food was really really really bad. Would not recommend this restaurant to even my worst enemy. Would never order from this restaurant again.

Food poor salad for crispy duck was old, not fresh tasting at all and for almost £30 so so bad ( did not want to give a star but could not post without) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

We have been using Hin Loon as our takeaway restaurant for many years. Their food is very good. They look after their customers.

Myself and my family love Chinese food. We've never had any issues with Hin Loon. If you order over £20, you can get FREE delivery. Should anyone have any questions about allergies with Hin Loon. They can change the way, they prepare your food by using different ingredients.

After many months I decided to give this take away another chance as I had been going there for over 20 years but due to a change in ownership some time ago & the rudeness of the staff I have not used it since, so I went in & placed an order which came to £57+ I waited for 30 minutes for the food to be cooked (which makes a mockery of the term Fast Food) I asked them where was my food & they retorted "there are many people before you" I told them that I could only give them another 5 minutes before I had to go because of a prior engagement that I had to attend, they said "go then" so I asked them for my money back which they refused to do however I did get my money back after a lot of shouting not only from me but mainly from them needless to say I will Never go there again & I would recommend that you also should steer clear of this dump unless you want an argument!!!

i have just had the worst so called chinese food in my 55 years of livng. The food took over an hour to arrive was cold inedible and basically rotten, i rang to explain my situation to be met with a very rude person on the other end of the phone i even said to him i think he said his name is shah i am not looking for my money back or anything at all he told me he had plenty of money to which i replied he will not be getting an more of mine and told him to enjoy my £18.25p i feel like i have been robbed but once bitten twice shy be warned this place is no good

I have been going to this takeaway for the last 23 years & have always been happy with there food but it has now been taken over by a bunch of Chìnese cowboys, the food is of poor quality & most definitely not worth eating & the person behind the counter is Very rude & argumentative, I would NOT recommend this takeaway even to my worst enemy!!!

I have ordered from this Chinese from as long as I have been old enough to. My parents ordered from here before I was even allowed to (I am 34 lol) and it has always been with great service and even better tasting food. I have been to many Chinese restaurants but the quality of Hin Loons food have never let me or my family down. I have never had a problem and would continue to order until otherwise.

Quality food delivered quickly and very affordable considering the portions.

Delivery was very quick. About 20 minutes.. but it made sense why... everything was undercooked. Rice was hard, noodles were hard and sweet and sour chicken batter tasted very floury... will never order from here again. Disgusting. I therefore cannot gice the delivery time a good rating either because what was delivered.. should not have been ready so early

Worst place ever, after seeing that they forgot my sauce for my duck, i called up, he spoke to his driver and instead of just saying sorry and sending. He stated that he did not know who to believe me or the driver and that i will have to wait 20 minutes for him to bring the sauce, i said that would be too long and that the duck would not be eatable after 20 so to just bring a new one and i will give the one i have back. It was like talking to a brick wall. All he did was talk over me and raise his voice. After about 10 minutes of saying the say thing i said to forget it and that did not want anything. And then he calls back again and starts again and then he calls back after 1 or 2 hours to just start again. I had to call just eat to tell him to stop calling me. Will not be buying from this restaurant again, and i will be informing everyone i know. This a very weird experience over a sauce. All he dis was blame others in the restaurant and me.

We ordered chow mein and it was absolutely brilliant! Only downside was my hubby had to go downstairs to pick up the meal and we live on the 11th floor with a baby. If either of us had been on our own it would have been difficult to go downstairs.

Soup tastes like gravey, the duck was really very fatty, there were hardly any bean sprouts in the chop suey, and the noodles were chunky and soft... I didn't like it.

I'd gone into the restaurant a few times and thought I'd order from home. The delivery was quick the food was nice. However, they neglected to fill the complete ordered, but when I called the staff member insisted that it was my mistake and that I hadn't ordered what I had said. I thought it was a one of but happen on a separate occasion , this time the person on the other end of the phone was even more rude! Asking me why they would make such a mistake? Ended up having to boil my own rice, no apology, no filling of the order, no more of my money!

Terrible service. We had an item missing which Hin Loon refused to accept and for 5 mins on the phone just kept repeatin that they'd put it in the bag. They didn't try to contact the driver to locate or replace the missing item.

Took 90mins for delivery but restaurant and driver were very apologetic which would have been fine if the food was ok. Apart from still being hot it was awful, chips tasted refried, crispy shredded beef was sweet not spicy could just taste pure sugar. Won't be ordering again.

Delivery time was good, but the food quality was not that great, some of the order was okay, but I could not eat more than a few spoons of the sweet and sour vegetables, neither could my brother, who eats everything, which is a shame cause we hate wasting food

My food came 50 minutes early which is always a good thing. The food was delicious, the black bean sauce I ordered as a side tasted amazing. It was also a really good portion. The gentleman who delivered the food was really sweet and polite. This is my second time ordering and I have never been disappointed. I will be ordering again very soon. Keep up the great work.
