Nice food with views over Ryde towards the Pier A touch dearer than most but very nice menu

Placed an order online. Waited 2 hours. Phone line not going through. Drove there to find the shutters down. They have closed down but show they are open on their website. £40 stolen.

Ordered food on the website waited for an hour for my order gave them a call but no answer so drove over to collect my food and found te shutters down ..The website said it was open till 10.30 also taken my money. 24/2/24.

The worst Chinese I have ever had in my life! I ordered through Uber eats. It took forever to come, and when it arrived, it looked sad and tasted real bad. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Ordered over the phone and the customer service was fine. When I came home with the food… I wasn’t happy. The squid was so hard and the batter was so greasy and soggy. I couldn’t even it. Then the beef with black bean sauce which I normally enjoy and order was so chewy and tasteless. I wasn’t impressed tonight and after a long week I had to order something else. Disappointed tonight with my order.

Ordered using their online website. Said latest delivery and that time went. Called and they said the driver had already left. 15 minutes later no order and we are only 2 mins away. When it did arrive 20 minutes late and only just warm... Well over an hour on a Tuesday... Missed one dish and the duck had no sauce or cucumber etc. Really poor communication when calling up, will no be going back.

Customers beware!!! On collection of food order I was financially overcharged (Ripped off) by the front staff compared to prices on their new up to date menu in the shop!!! Very poor Chinese food, and miserable unfriendly service! Absolutely will not return!

Horrendous!!! Honestly really poor if honest. Cold food. Crackers stale and bones found in chicken curry. People - it’s nearly 2024 ffs! How do you get this so wrong in this day and age.

Me & my husband use to live in the area moved away for 6 months and moved back as we deal with our rental properties in this area .We use to love the Chinese from here I’m not sure what has happened in 6 months but it has lost its taste & potions ridiculous. Shredded beef we could not spot the beef maybe 4/5 pieces and their small twiglets . The quarter duck definitely was just the bone and few hanging pieces .Sweet sour hong king chicken we’re was chicken red source lost in full veg .We was extremely disappointed has the manager or owner changed or the chef this was not enjoyable sorry lost it touch big time .

The food arrives home piping hot, delicious, good value for money, and will soon be ordered again

Dry and burnt smoked shredded chicken! Not a good combination. The egg fried rice was bland, the ribs were more fat than meat. Cutting back on the quantity was bad enough….. but the quality of the food I received this time was very, very poor. I did not complain to the restaurant, I just won’t order from them again. And if anyone asks, I will pass on the truth. Really awful food. What a shame.

Just ordered delivery and very disappointed. I ordered over £30 including a quarter duck. Missing was the peking sauce, cucumbers and spring onions. Won't be ordering from there again.

As a Muslim, I don't eat pork. I ordered lamb rice. They gave me pork rice. I started eating it and realised it was pork. It gave me a stomachache and I lost my appetite. I called them up to complain about the pork. If it was an honest mistake, I'd forgive them. They told me that they ran out of lamb and this is what they do when this happens. They substitute it for pork, instead of removing it from their menu. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour. Muslims aren't the only ones who don't eat pork - so many people don't eat it for different reasons. The restaurant didn't even put a note to inform me of the substitute. They then sent over a different fried rice. As someone who used to work in retail, I would apologise profusely if I made a mistake like that. But this restaurant worker simply handed over the new rice and left. The rest of my food went cold and hard by the time I sat down at the table. And I couldn't even finish my food because I felt so sick from the pork. If you have any dietary requirements at all, do not order from here.

Ordered king prawns fried rice, salt and pepper squid and pancake roll. Absolutely disgusting, I had to threw it away. I could do better. Would never go there again. It's cheap for a reason. Waste of money.

My wife ordered from here for the first time, she is fastidious about checking 'scores on the doors' etc...and saw this was 4 stars but we thought we would try it as we really wanted a decent Chinese. We spent a fair amount on the food we ordered (£50 +), but we were desperately disappointed with the flavour of all of the dishes we received. This is the first time we have had a Chinese where everything tasted so very bland. The Crabmeat and Sweetcorn soup was watery and flavourless as was just about everything else. A very disappointing experience and we will definitely not be ordering from here again!

For 35 pounds spent, I've never been so hungry after a takeaway. Portions were tiny, chicken was far too sweet and they missed one of our dishes. No prawn crackers were offered too for quite a large order. Definitely left feeling very unsatisfied. Much better placed out there.

Do not order from this place, the fried chicken is actually Thai green curry that is uncooked and more like rubber! Also left two dishes off order and when I called to inform them we’re rude and took no responsibility!

If I could I will give 0 stars. Worst prown toast I ever had. Was basically a slice of bread no prowns and sesame seeds on top overcooked and very oily. And king prowns stoggy and no king size at all. 5 stars for the delivery guy, very friendly and professional. I will never order again. Very disappointed 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Not the right food delivered. When my girl phoned was told to come to restaurant and collect it and they tried to blame delivery driver.

This was very disappointing, my order was incorrect more than two items was wrong and the food was cold. The restaurant would not take responsibility passing the blame on to diliveroo and telling me to come into the restaurant 🤔.

If I could’ve given it no stars I would’ve. They rip you off, saying half and half portions. More like two thirds rice or more than that & less than one third main. I may as well ordered a normal portion for just £2 extra. Half of £5.50 is £2.75 & half of special fried rice is £2.75 not £8.50. 🤬🤬🤬 I’ll never use this place again.

Lemon chicken was just chicken coated in lemon syrup - sickly sweet. Sweet and sour prawns tasted like they’d been cooked in sugar syrup. Just lazy cooking. Prawns in black bean sauce again just full of sugar. This place loves to cook with sugar. Noodles were ok. Never again.

Really bad food not worth the price.

Would give it zero stars if I could. Girlfriend paid for a meal while she was away studying and they after an hour they decided that it wasn't going to be delivered because the place the food was going to was 'too far away'. Stinking attitude from staff who don't care about you or the 'food' they cook, probably get it delivered to ghosts because they don't exist either. Only care about your money and their attitude is terrible! Should invest some robbed money into customer service. Avoid.

Didnt turn up so i rang and they said they dont deliver that far. (An hour after ordering) however they accepted it on just eat and confirmed it as on its way and marked the order as delivered. They refused to cancel as they said its not their problem? Currently trying to get my money back but its hard to prove they didnt deliver when they are lying to just eat saying they did. A few have had this issue so id avoid.

Beef was strands thinner than noodles deepfried in batter. Sauce was terrible too as the menu saod hot and the taste was super sweet. Avoid at all costs

This place used to be great, there was a girl that would take the call and great you - always really nice. Went here lately and looked like the place had changed hands; poor service (giving grief over card payment) and poor to average food versus the old days.

They used to be really good but they are now terrible. There was a girl on the phone in the beginning that was lovely and kind but the new guy Alex appears to be abrupt when you complain about the previous wrong order, or will blame the mistake on you at time of order!!! When you come to the bottom of your VEGETARIAN dish there is little remains of meat (Which I have stated numerous times I only eat seafood or vegetables).

Ordered from here tonight it was delivered within 20minutes and I've got to say it was absolutely delicious, I will definitely be using new master chef from now on!

This is a chinese takeaway. Have tried three or four times as it was recommended to me. The food was "colourful" to look at but lacked flavour and was barely warm when delivered. Will not order again.

Nasty food. Very bland Chinese food I have ever tasted. Not worth it at all. All of us had very bad diarrhoea. Mushroom tasted and smelled so foul. Please avoid this place at all cost.

I will never ever order from her again. The rice grains were hard with a few thin strips of chicken and about 4 prawns, ridiculous, the curry sauce tasted more like gravy. Spoke to the restaurant and they said that they would refund me for the rice and curry sauce once I had sent my concerns to Just Eat, got a call ten minutes after my initial call then saying that they will not be refunding me. We will see, maybe I will contact trading standards, food like this is not acceptable.

Most of the food was very good such as the chicken curry, spring rolls and singapore noodles (although when I asked for it to be extra spicy they literally just covered the noodles in chilli flakes) The duck was dry as f and had no cucumber or spring onions, literally made movie night much much worse..

Firstly, took way over an hour for a small meal. Duck was dry and bland. Cucumber for the duck was yellow and slimey. Also the quarter of a duck portion was 1/10 of a duck. Also the delivery man came back to give more salad and prawn crackers?? Spring rolls were soggy but chow mein was nice. But £19 for this!

Incredibly fast delivery (suspiciously so....) and merely average food. I think Chinese takeaways generally need a makeover to improve the quality of the ingredients. It's not the 80's anymore and there's a lot more choice available.

Great food and service. Love the Singapore noodles here and all dishes I have tried so far have been very tasty. Ordered from here 4 times so far and every time the food has been hot and on time.

El sábado por la noche mi marido y yo decidimos quedarnos en un chino y pedir para llevar. Pedimos de chef dos semanas antes, y estábamos contentos con la comida. De nuevo, esta vez nos quedamos satisfechos con la comida. Un par de cosas que las raciones son bastante grandes sin embargo una particular plato estaba llena a medias y no una porción substatial. En segundo lugar pasamos 40 libras en el llevar esperando el pan de gambas para ser gratuito, ya que normalmente están con la siempre por encima de los £20 - £25 pero te cobran 2 libras. 50 por una bolsa de medio lleno y por si fuera poco, estaban rancios. Me quejé con el gerente, así que toma nota para pedidos futuros de que había respuestas en vez de escuchar a sus clientes. Creo que me he pedido de nuevo si el chef.

Mi local! Me encanta este lugar. La comida es siempre recién preparado, no se calienta o de otras tonterías. Encanta, tienen mi housemate enganchado en ella.

A much varied and tastymenu of Asian delights focused on Chinese and Thai foods. Service is quick and friendly enough, but I have found their instore prices and promotions do sometimes vary from what it says online, but they've always been quick to change my bill when I've challenged then. Love the salt and pepper ribs!

I absolutely love the New Master chef, the food is fab the service is fab and they always deliver earlier than they quote! Wonderful service every time!!! So far we have used Just Eat to order with them 5 times, but rest assured we have eaten from them much more than that! Fab takeaway and food service 100%

We always order Chinese from master chef but the green Thai curry was disappointing . There was t enough prawns or veg in it but the rest of the order was great .

Arrived five minutes early, food tasted great. Satay chicken sauce had a little chili in which was wonderful. Food was all piping hot.

I ordered the Singapore style chow mein and it was very sticky with too much curry powder and there were lumps of curry powder in the food. Not nice at all!!

Waited 1.5 hours for delivery after two phone calls. Was til on second occasion that if it was not received within the next couple of minutes I could dance the order. What audacity. Curry was not pleasant. Delivery driver said they were very busy and he was the only driver. Fair enough but that should have been explained.

Ordered online....waited....waited....and rang after an hour and was told they'd lost my order. She said 'oh we might be able to get it to you in 40 minutes'....there might have been a faint apology but mainly she just sounded fed up with me, like I'd lost the order..
