Hilal Restaurant in Enfield

This is my go to Turkish restaurant. The quality of food, impeccable service and value for money has been exceptional in my experience. I have also recommended to family and friends and it ticks the boxes, every time. I will be back soon, Thanks!

Been here many times . Food is absolutely delicious, always, the staff are great, good ambience, variety of food.

Had lamb doner. Was absolutely tasteless. I threw it away, along with the cuscous too. Will never return. Very disappointing. Restaurant has declined over the yr as used to be decent.

Sabores tradicionales turcos en el corazón del norte de Londres. Productos frescos y excelente servicio. Vine a almorzar con amigos. Nos recibieron y nos atendieron tanto los chefs como una joven muy educada. La decoración es tradicional y muy agradable. El lugar está impecable, muy limpio. Nos sentamos de inmediato y los platos comenzaron a volar minutos después de haber ordenado. Un montón de aperitivos gratis. Hummus fue increíble. Lo mismo para el gran lam shish (porciones generosas, carne cocinada a la perfección, sabor encantador y especias). Lo más destacado fue la sopa de lentejas - f - a - n - t - a - s - t - i - c. Si en la zona no te pierdas este lugar.

What a lovely restaurant in Edmonton. Great service and great food really enjoyed my lunchtime meal here with friends. Food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. One of the best Turkish restaurants in North London. I had a lamb sheesh which was very tasty and everything else that was provided was an absolute gem!

Visited two weeks ago with a friend. Ordered the meat platter for 2 and a lahmacun. Both were well cooked, succulent meat and a generous portion (platter could feed 3). Glad to find this new place not too far from home, and recommend to others!

Hilal Restaurant is a Turkish restaurant that was formally known as Ada Restaurant. It’s a brisk walk from Silver Street station. There are options to take away or eat in. They serve a variety of Turkish dishes to include kebab and fish dishes. I had grilled fish with rice & couscous and found the fish too dry. Overall I didn’t enjoy the meal and neither did the other party.

Tried out Hilal and wasn’t disappointed. Ordered the chicken shish kebab and can say it’s up there with one of the best I have had. Friendly staff, was given a free Turkish tee whilst waiting for the food. Great value for the portion sizes. Overall a slice of turkey ... 🦃 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷 out of 5

Restauracja ta znajduje się przy głównej ulicy. Po samym wejściu wita nas duża i przestronna sala z przyzwoitym wystrojem. Jeśli chodzi o menu to trochę ubogie z małym wyborem napojów. Obsługa zadowalająca, chociaż trochę uśmiechu na twarzy by się przydało. Jedzenie dobre, porcje dosyć duże a całość w przyzwoitej cenie. (Moim daniem był burger drobiowy z frytkami i sałatką grecką.) Byłem, zjadłem ale kolejnych odwiedzin tam nie planuje :)

I have been eating Turkish food in north London for the last 15 year when most of the restaurants first opened. Since then there has been a noticeable decline in the taste, portion size, service and sadly an increase in prices. I am so pleased to see Hilal has gone back to basics. The food tastes fresh and well made, I highly recommend the stews. Whilst it's located in a rough part of town it's definitely worth a visit. If your looking for an alcohol free, hmc, family friendly restaurant which is not over priced with decent portion sizes you can't go wrong.
