Sorry I started going to this place since it opened, when it first opened it was soo great. I have high expectation from this restaurant, I would always order the platter, over time as the price went up the size of the restaurant got bigger. I would just say the quality should have been maintained with the price, the monosodium glutamate (MSG) or salt was over powering this time, when you are not busy please keep a lookout on the tables as we should not have to keep waving our arms when calling. This is the reason for the 3 star which I dropped from 4 this time round. As this was the 2nd time in a row this has happened. Hope my next visit I will see the same Kervan.

I've been to this place more times than I can count on both hands and I've almost never seen this place not packed with people. Excellent service, a good waiting time for the food and it tastes the best. There is alot of food in 'Chef's special' so I always end up taking home what I can't finish, which I always look forward to eating later! The toilets were clean

Has got to be the worst Kervan or restaurant in London. Food is so mediocre. The service, the staff absolutely the worst. The staff’s demeanour gives such bad atmosphere. They all have so much attitude and they are all so bad of hearing. So if you hate repeating yourself more than once I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They don’t smile or anything. They think they’re so prestige

Lovely place. First time coming here with our children. Fantastic atmosphere and staff were really attentive and friendly. Really quick service. Ladies toilets were a bit messy hence the 4/5 stars.

Bread and salad was lovely. Chicken Adana quite bland didn’t taste well seasoned. Service atmosphere great xx

I’ve spent £58 in you restaurant and both my meals are supposed to come with salads but NO SALAD. This is just as important to me as the rice and meat

Best kebab and sundries I’ve ever had. Delicious food and the service was fantastic. We went back the following evening as well.

Went on Sat night, no booking but we got seated immediately. Restaurant was busy and had a very cheerful vibe. My main was the Adana, good portion size and cooked very well, lots of flavour. Will definitely come again as the ribs looked amazing as did the Lamb Shish.

Kisur no good terrible normally my favourite food and restaurant but unfortunately today was no good i’m not sure why it would be different this time unfortunately very disappointed

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kervan Restaurant on Church Street in Edmonton, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The customer service was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special, and I was particularly impressed by a gentleman named Mershed (sorry, I'm not entirely sure of the name). His attentiveness and friendly demeanor really stood out, making our experience all the more enjoyable. As for the food—absolutely phenomenal! I ordered the dessert platter, and it was a delightful array of flavors and textures. Each dessert was more delicious than the last, and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Thank you, Kerman, for making this night so memorable. I look forward to returning soon!

CHOOSE A DIFFERENT BRANCH - Horrible service and the workers there do not give a toss about you as a customer, save your money and go to a different branch or an entirely different turkish restaurant, nothing special here.

Rice was hard and tasteless, chicken donner was old and smelly. Waste of £29 never eating from here again and don't recommend anyone.

Went back after a few years and I was really impressed. The food was AMAZING, and good value. The staff were so accommodating and respectful to my elderly parents, they couldn't do enough. I would highly recommend this place all day long.

Good place to visit. Food was anything but. Very bland and tye veg salad meze gave me a stomach upset within hours. And expensive as well. Passable

food was not typical Turkish standard, the meat was not rendered and was fatty, warm and oily. There was a number of flys and it was chilly where we sat! over all a waste of a trip to Edmonton.

I recently dined at Kervan Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was really good and more than enough for my friend’s family and me. The desserts were delightful and a perfect end to the meal. The service was also great, adding to our overall enjoyment. Highly recommend!

Wonderful evening the food was fresh, service and atmosphere was great. Little bit pricey, however enjoyed the experience.

Went after a very long time with friends. They have refurbished and it looks really good! They've even got an outdoor garden area for guests to dine. We ordered a chefs special platter for the 3 of us and had some left overs! We also got complimentary bread, yogurt, salad and aubergine potato salad. The weather was good so we moved outdoors after food for tea and dessert. We ordered the kunafa and caramel milk cake. 10/10 Lovely food and lovely atmosphere.

The lahmacun was not great. The meats on the bread was separating and it wasnt in good shape.

Been a long time customer of Kervan, mostly Wood Green and Southgate and sometimes Church St. The staff at Church St is not really professional and the meat was poor quality. If something does not smell right you dont eat it .. on a Sunday afternoon you d expect to be quite busy and the food to be fresh… though Wood Green restaurant is always top quality so I think there is an issue with this particular restaurant not Kervan as a whole.

Tasty food and great place. However, the staff could be rather annoying. They won't leave you alone, asking you if you have finished every 3 minutes and trying to clean your table so you can pay and leave quick. It almost felt like a race. It's a shame as the food is really tasty.

It is a very busy restaurant and very noisy. I prefer it to be a little quieter. Had to wait a while to get served. Then they forgot my drink. Apart from that food was very good.

We visited here on a Sunday, at around 4pm. Lots of tables left, but it was beginning to fill up. They were very welcoming and friendly, excellent quality service. They brought us a labneh-style dip, Turkish ratatouille, bread and salad to start with, this was standard, part of the meal. We had babagannous, halloumi, borek, calamari and a mixed doner. The portion sizes are HUGE. My partner was delighted with his doner, it was the proper meat, not reconstructed 'shavings'. The babagannous, borek and halloumi were perfect. It was £70 for two, with a diet coke and a watermelon rum punch also. Excellent value. If you visit, ensure you're really hungry as you will want to eat it all!

Food is bland, with minimum flavor. They add service charge to the bill. By law you don't need to pay. Limited parking in front of the restaurant. Parking available on the side roads. Good portion size, prices ok.

Went there after a long time and they have refurbished the restaurant and looks more on the modern side. They got rid of the rear carpark and created more seating area. Prices have gone up but ordered the Kervan Extra Special platter and the meat pieces definitely looked bigger in size compared to how I remember them to be when I last visited. The different meats on the platter were cooked spot on and tasted very good. The bulger rice and white rice were cooked well and the meat oils moistened and flavoured the rice nicely. Visited yesterday to celebrate my 3 year old nephews birthday and there were several more birthdays being celebrated. The staff brought out the cakes for everyone who were celebrating their birthdays and singing to the birthday person. It was a proper nice and lively atmosphere. Will always be going with the family whenever we want to eat out as it's one of our favourites.

The service was top tier. If you’re lucky to have a waitress named Asya be sure you'll have the best service and dinner available. I highly recommend this place as the food is also top tier. Will for sure be back next time !

Disgusting guvec.. meet was hard and food was full of oil. Obergine is part of guvec but i didn't get even one piece of Obergine . Why you give me a garlic and chili sos for guvec. Why? Is not part of this food. Also garlic sos was open and everything was mess up . I not order from you enymore. My suggestion.. change your Kuk . Is rubish

This is a restaurant that I will never recommend. A Turkish restaurant should not be like this. All the dishes, including appetizers, are terrible, irresponsible and expensive.

Kervan is one of my top 3 favourite Turkish restaurants, hands down. I had a lamb shish meal with rice and once again I wasn’t able to finish it, the meat was tender, moist, juicy and cooked to perfection, let alone the flavours! Overall it was a good experience. We had a waitress called Asya, honestly the BEST waitress I’ve had, she is attentive, funny, and a down to earth woman, she was amazing. Will definitely be coming back for her and that delicious food.

We visited this restaurant for a family meal, and it exceeded our expectations. The food, particularly the dessert, was exceptional. Our waitress, Asya, provided outstanding service - she was not only friendly and attentive but also highly professional. She created a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel at ease and bringing laughter to our table. Additionally, she went above and beyond to accommodate my brother's nut allergy, providing reassurance and support. Overall, I would rate our experience a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend it. It was truly the best service we've experienced in quite some time.She also meticulously explained each step of the service and readily assisted us whenever we needed anything.

Best in the area, been many times. Easy to book table. Had birthday gatherings there few times. All fine, just at the end, rushing you a bit to leave. They haven't brought me my Turkish tea yet but already started collecting cake plates from my family. That's not acceptable. Give people a chance to drink their tea pls. There was plenty tables available so don't understand the rush.

Such a shame because when I was younger it was like incredible to get taken here the fishes they had were so nice and I decided for nostalgia sake I got toogoodtoogo and took a lovely walk over with my partner until we were at the door getting stared at by the waiters without even a smile or a wave just looks felt so uncomfortable it was my first time with toogoodtoogo so I accidentally swiped the man comes up to us and asks what do I want I felt disrespected but thought nothing of it until sarcasm began. He saw that I swiped collected and I told him it was an accident seeing as it was my first time he then proceeded to ask me if I have the food and pointing at my empty hands I know this review is long but I want the owner to understand that if waiters keep scaring customers the way they are then I will keep leaving detailed reviews he went on about how I don’t have the food and I shouldn’t have swiped for a good 5 minutes which felt like forever and I then asked if I can just have my food with no answer he went inside came back out checked my code and went inside to grab my food not even served with a smile or a ‘ have a nice evening’ just handed it to me definetely will not be coming again. If you’d like to know who it is I’m not 100% sure but it was a man who was kinda old with two ladies. I hope you guys fix the issues with your staff because I used to love the place very disappointed.

Came here with my husband a couple of days ago. We had come to London for an event and this place was highly recommended by our AirBnb host. The restaurant is nice. The staff are very friendly and professional. We were seated immediately, attended to immediately as well and our food came out quickly. The portions here are HUGE. We each ordered a starter, a main, and dessert. If we had known how big the portions were, we would have only ordered one dish each. The food is really delicious depending on your taste. For starters I had the lamb and hummus dish. The hummus was so good! The lamb was tender and nice but the dish was huge. My partner ordered spicy sausage and barbecue bread. The bread was so delicious but again the bread basket was overflowing with bread. I've never had bread that good at a restaurant before. They also brought us a huge plate of fresh salad. For main I ordered the grilled lamb(I can't remember what exactly). My partner ordered the chicken skewers. My lamb was so moist and tender and came with grilled veg and rice and bulgur. My husband hates lamb, but surprisingly, his chicken tasted so much like lamb while mine had only a mild taste of lamb. We ended up switching dishes and I had to agree that I didn't like his chicken skewers. For dessert he had the banoffee pie which was really nice. I had the white chocolate cheesecake which was too sweet, cavity inducing, and tasted nothing like cheesecake. Their yogurt sauce was divine. So were the chili and garlic sauces. Overall the food was nice, some more than others. The portions were massive, we had leftovers for two days. The staff was lovely

If I didn’t call the restaurant before delivery is coming, it’s gonna go somewhere else so I can put the address which address I want. This is automatic system you’re making And people they’re getting upset for is coming a few day. House and I have to call before the restaurant. Tell them don’t drop in the number for this is not number four. This is a hospital example and this hospital doesn’t have a door number and you have to fix your apps otherwise I can’t get food
