We were staying locally snd wanted to get a bit closer to some of the famous highland cows. We were taken on a walk though the farm firlds by the owner Jane to meet the different groups of cows including some really young ones. Jane was fascinating providing insight into the running of the farm and Highland Fold business, the farm ecosystem and the North Atlantic rainforest plus of course the star attraction highland cows themselves! We had a fabulous afternoon and would highly recommend the experience plus the barn cafe where we had coffee, delicious cake and ice cream!

If you are anywhere in the area, we highly recommend a visit to Highland Fold. The short walk up to the cafe is absolutely magical, as well as our first spotting of Highland Cattle (with newborn calf). If that isn't enough, you are then rewarded with delicious ice creams, coffees and teas in the most charming setting. Our short visit here was a highlight of our visit to Scotland.

Had a lovely ice cream and coffee made with highland cow milk. Lovely place for a bite to eat and a drink. The garden you can sit in is lovely and the cows are in the field nearby. Tried the blueberry and mint - really lovely!

Wow found this place yesterday by accident, can I just say this is the best accident ever, hubby at the crumble with meadowsweet ice cream and I had pancakes with the wild raspberry sorbet, finished off with coffee, lovely place, friendly staff and I'd move up here just for the ice cream, will definitely be back.

This was just the loveliest experience. We we led on a gentle walk across her farm, by Jane, who introduced us to her beautiful Highland cattle in a setting of such rich nature and glorious views that we couldn't stop smiling. The descriptions of the lives of people and cows alike, of doing things in the most ecologically sound ways, the bounty of the trees and plants, and the rhythm of life high in these Scottish hills, was utterly engaging. The cows are clearly deeply content. We loved every minute of it. At the end we had freshly made cake with our coffee, tasted one of the gorgeous ice creams and bought some to share with friends.

We booked lunch for a large group in October, and Helen was fantastic at liaising with us about our menu choices. The food was delicious - fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the spacious dining area and the views, and really appreciated the warm welcome of Helen and her staff. I definitely recommend eating here if you're on Mull!

Very friendly, welcoming spot. Run by volunteers in the community. Fantastic views of Loch Awe from the terrace at the back!
