My son & l go here all the time! It is the best cafe in Skegness, the staff are exceptional & so friendly. My son has Autism & this is his ‘safe cafe’ & he loves it there especially the cakes!!!! The hot chocolate is yummy too!! We’ve been for coffee & lunch & the food is beautiful, served well & you never wait very long. Quiz night is highly recommended & great fun for a good cause too! We can’t recommend The Hideout highly enough! 😄great job everyone keep going!!!

Really relaxed atmosphere after a day in the beach. Pizza was amazing! Only downside was they started clearly the table whilst we were still eating which I find really rude.

We had a family get together at the Hideout after scattering some family ashes at sea, we had a lovely welcome from the hideout, we sat outside and enjoyed delicious food, cake and coffee's, they even had decaf tea for me, the service was excellent, we would recommend a visit.

We expected a tourist trap and instead discovered a delightful little spot with spectacular food and service. Everyone in our group with all of their selective (picky) eating habits found something scrumptious to eat. They go to an amazing effort with presentation and the quality of the food was as good as any I've had.

We've been here a couple of times now and it's been excellent every time. As a family we had the Pizza deal, 2 pizzas and some sort of spicy potato fries and drinks. All the food was really good, maybe a little slow I think they have a limited number of pizza ovens available, Drinks have been good every time, Cherries and Berries Old Mout and Cruzcampo are our main drinks. Will certainly return.

Fantastic place for breakfast or lunch, proper little hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Skegness. Great coffee and home made pizzas in their own pizza oven. Even has a small bar with great cocktails!

Went for a pizza that I’d heard a lot about , and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent and great value for money . Dog friendly, great lager and staff are very welcoming 👏👏.. The bar also excepts Blue card discount which is a massive bonus. Highly recommend.

A fantastic spot in Skegness! They offer amazing pizzas 🍕 and Blue Light Card discount which is a really nice touch! They’re also dog friendly which is great too as we can take out Frenchie in! Can really recommend and the team and Carl are great hosts. One of my favourite ‘newish’ spots in town!

Popped in for lunch on a Thursday. We hadn’t booked but we were found a table straight away! Staff were friendly and efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for service or food. I simply had to have fish & chips and it did not disappoint! It was a huge portion of fish and perfectly cooked!

I have just been there with my family for mother's day. Initially we booked in to the Old Chequers Inn (the sister pub as their social media says) to be told it wasn't there we were booked in to but there was availability at Poplar Farm. When we got there we were told the first drinks were om the chef due to the confusion which we all appreciated. We realised that they were linked and had the same menu so wonder if we were supposed to be here initially but that was never communicated at the time, someone had our booking but noone wanted to admit to it. We then had to wait 45 minutes to order our starter, and then had then another 30ish minutes between the starter and main. I am not unreasonable and accept they were busy due to Mothers Day but I feel that is no excuse for poor customer service, especially when we had been so put out in the first place. When my mother went to them at the end to explain where the confusion came from with the intention of giving polite constructive criticism, she was told it was her fault and the lady just didn't want to know. The positives were that the food was lovely and that the portion sizes were more than generous, however the customer service being so poor has meant there are six people here currently who will not be going back.
