What a gem! Small Palestinian cafe/bakery on West Street. Went for lunch and it was delicious - mixed falafel, foul, and small spiced lamb parcels whose name I have forgotten! Lovely, helpful owner/staff. And very, very reasonable. Loved it

Had an amazing brunch of Palestinian food. Freshly made, steaming pitta bread. The best falafel any of us had ever had. An interesting breakfast, we all loved it and will definitely return. The staff were so friendly and explained everything whilst topping up fresh bread and tea. A lovely environment. Thank you! We had wondered around Wood Street looking for breakfast, walked past one place with football on telly, no thanks, then sat in another cafe for 5 mins and noticed 10 people waiting to be served drinks let alone food, so went next door to Hiba Taboun. So please we did!

Tucked away at the back of Highams Park, this venue is of the highest standard if you are a lover of the traditional English brekkie. Whilst other establishments would serve cheap bacon and sausages, Maurgies serve thick juicy bacon and quality bangers!! Bravo

We received a warm welcome and friendly service. The tuna melt panini was done to perfection and although there wasn't much side salad with it, at least what there was fresh and crisp. The coffee was full-flavoured and the cup filled.
