Lovely bohemian cafe with friendly staff, great coffee & a choice of delicious cakes. A view of the bowling green lawns from the rear.

Great coffee. Great food. Great staff. Great service. All in comfortable surroundings! What more could you ask for? 👍

I took my girls out for a treat and wanted to try H&F Coffee Shop following a recommendation - we were not disappointed!! I ordered a Mocha (I’m always looking for good Mocha) I have to say it was the best one ever - I’ve even been to Italian restaurants and it wasn’t as good. My girls didn’t know what they wanted but the staff quickly suggested a milkshake - these were also (in the words of my girls) ‘sooooo goood’ 😁 Cakes were lovely, all homemade, the interior is quirky and cosy with a chilled vibe and so different to all other coffee shops. Big sofas in front of a log burner, Im looking forward to visiting as the weather turns. I also realised there’s an amazing furniture shop attached to it! I would definitely recommend a visit. Great service and friendly staff 👌🏼

I usually call in whilst waiting for the Pronto. I secretly hope I've just missed so so I can visit here for a mocha and a bacon sandwich. The Mocha is the best in town, made just like I like it. The bacon sandwich is "quality". Lovely seating and different choices. So peaceful inside. My oasis.

Worth tracking this down behind the HandF furniture shop. You can go down the side of the bus station car park or go through the shop. Sofa area has been reopened. Coffee was tasty with good foam on cappuccino, although a little too much for me. Nice little biscuit. Homemade cakes looked good but I’m trying to cut down!

Best atmosphere in town. Stellar service. Great music. Wonderful selection of food and drink on the menu. Seems to be overlooked presently despite being opposite the bus station. Make sure when you set foot off the bus, that you swiftly set foot into H&F. You won't regret it. Go for the coffee, stay for the cakes.

I come to Chesterfield often, and I've tried a good few of the coffee shops. Nowhere does better coffee than this place. I've never been served anything other than a properly fresh croissant here, and they have a serious collection of cakes and other goodies that looks and tastes amazing. The sandwiches are like what you'd get in a real sandwich place: nice bread and generous fillings, as well as side salads and coleslaw that aren't just there to take up space on the plate or make it look nice. They've given everything some thought, and it shows. And that is to say nothing of their lovely decor! The place is literally an interior design shop. Their chairs and sofas are really comfy. They have a fireplace you can warm yourself by when it's cold, and a large outdoor area to relax in when it's hot. They have plugs for your laptop or phone, they won't kick you out if you want to work there, and the staff are both on it and really friendly. Simply put... the best coffee in Chesterfield, and the nicest cafe to sit in. Highly recommended.

Me, my husband, our 3 year old son and pooch have had a lovely time here…beautiful coffee, cake and milkshakes! Great setting with rustic feel and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning again. 5* service!
