Helly Dee’s in Armagh

Just terrible. Asked for gravy chip, a man in a coat and scarf seemed to be making it, was like water with clots in, chips looked unappetising and it went straight in the bin. Avoid!

A chip shop that can't even cook chips. Stopped off for a chip and got home to find a bag of rock hard half cooked potatoes. Guy wasn't even interested when brought them back. Second time in here and both times food either not cooked or sour.

Stay away from this place. It is an absolute joke. Tree midle age guys in the kitchen looked like somebody put them there for fun. Got fish and chips. The fish was awful to say the least.

Never ever order from Helly Dee’s ever! We ordered , called and they were like: our internet isn’t working cancel trough app and hung up on us! Very rude not worth your time and money!

WARNING!!!! STAY WELL CLEAR this should have a minus star rating Worst I've ever had in my life, simple order and couldn't get that right battered sausage supper with gravy.... to open it and had garlic mayo plasteted ALL over it totally ruining the lot, onion rings are from a frozen bag and taste like they have been in the freezer the past 10years, chips were hard as the road and rotten and that was definitely not a sausage. The lot went in the bin after one bite PLEASE DO NOT GO NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED 🤮🤢🤮

Words cannot describe how awful this place is & how pathetic the food is! I give this minus stars for the rating, however, this is currently not an option! Zero atmosphere & the staff made no effort to smile or show any welcoming attitude. Basically silence whilst we waited for our order. To be honest, we only gave the place a go because Rumbles was closed in town & we pretty much instantly regretted it 😲 We asked for a battered sausage supper with curry sauce & another with gravy (this is not what we received - see photo - we think it was garlic mayo....we asked for GRAVY). Despite the fact that we repeated our order at least twice to guy serving us, it was still incorrect. Nothing was fresh or 'traditional' in fact, these were the worst chips that we have ever tasted & we are pretty sure that the sausages were well overcooked & then probably reheated & likely all 'cooked' from frozen. The 'funion" rings were not delightful either! I've never left a negative review like this before, but seriously, this was just awful 😖 Avoid....or, at least read reviews first...we wished that we had!

Order wrong. Food cold and curry congealed. Sausages tasted like play doh and weren’t cooked. Simply awful.

From the length of time it took to order the food in Helly Dee's to the quality of the food in it, nothing was good. The goujons were like something from Iceland and ended up getting 4 and not the 5 as it stated on the menu. The battered sausage supper came with normal sausages which my friend could not even eat, I can't even describe what they tasted like and am not sure if they were off or what it was. Will definitely not be back and would not recommend to anyone. From previous reviews I'm surprised the place is still open.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Frozen chips, frozen fish you could cook better at home with stuff from Iceland wasn’t cheap either highly highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

Absolutely vile food, frozen chips, frozen ‘cod’ which definitely wasn’t cod and kebab meat was preformed and artificial, also probably frozen. Nothing fresh or tasty about it.

Went to the dogs from it was took over. Asked 3 times on the phone if they do plain chicken for a kids pizza, they said yes. Got the pizza and it was spicy. Chips are awful. Waste of money.

Never again i ordered my food at 20:40 and i got 22:15 food was cold, so guys if you want take order from that place just go to Iceland and you will get the same

Ordered collection on Saturday night and every aspect of the order was wrong; wrong sauce on pizza, salad in a tub instead of the sauce for a kebab, wrong meat on one of the kebabs, other kebab had naan instead of chips and southern fried chicken burger was some type of zinger. To top it of their onion rings are like something from Iceland. Definitely won't be back again.

This the second time I have got a kebab this week and it's the best I have got from anywhere

Just ordered x2 chicken supremes with stuffing and got greeted with the delivery driver at our door telling us they both have no stuffing as they ran out. Instead of ringing us to let us change the orders this is what we got. Also food tasted dreadful, nothing fresh. Will never be back that's for sure. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Under new ownership and you can tell because the food isn't fresh. The chips seemed like they were frozen and bought in rather than proper chippy chips. Everything about this place has went to the dogs, won't be back

Ordered a margarita pizza it tasted funny and I found what seems to be a load of dead skin on it wouldn't reccomend to a homeless man

Got a mini fish supper and nothing about it was fresh.

Pizza arrived 20 minutes late and was just luke warm and was uneatable.

Ordered kebab sharing box. Chips and all meat was heated in the microwave ! People not going to chippy to get microwave heated food 😡 they were good only at the start when opened. THIS WAS THE Last time I bought from yous, thank you !
