Hector's Mexicana in Sefton

Used to be amazing here. Menu suddenly changed and now the tacos are fried and swimming in fat, all you can taste is the fat. Comes with a pot of watery oil with stuff in it. when I question the owner he was arrogant and said that's how they are ment to be. Chip on his shoulder as if he's someone important. Won't be coming back and will advise friends and family to do the same

Myself and my husband ordered from Hector’s Mexicana and we’re not disappointed! I grew up on excellent Mexican food having family in Texas so I’m not easy to impress - I was more than impressed, the food was delicious! My husband is really picky but he had no issues getting exactly what he wanted and really enjoyed his meal too. We got great value for money and left very full. The owner was so lovely, gave our dog a treat because she was nervous and was really friendly to everyone in our party - we’ll definitely go back next time we visit Southport! My son ordered pizza from 600 degrees and really enjoyed it. They were also friendly, good value and provided great customer service!
