Heavenly Desserts - Rochdale in Rochdale

Not often I have to leave a poor review here, was so looking forward to it as well, but it was not to be. The ganache ( think Gu ) wasn’t creamy or slightly salty, it was like dark chocolate with a whiff of cream. Should be called Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel, not the milk chocolate it should have been and appeared to be in the photo. Drenched in sauce, the pastry was very hard to break up, the honeycomb nearly had me breaking my teeth so all I can say is extremely disappointing.

Amazing food made by imaan her service was excelelnt too, ridha brought out our desserts and shes so friendly snd nice, will deifnitly be coming again, SOHA WAS DEFINITELY THE BEST OF THEM ALL SHE WAS AMZING

Food quality has massively changed for the worse! Quantity’s are far less and you no longer get value for money! Shrink nation comes to mind!!!

Me and my friends were served by a hijabi today. She was really nice and professional. It was my friend’s birthday and she made it very special for her by personalising a plate. The girl who served us was attentive, friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely made our meal better!! Will be coming back.

Got there sat down on dirty seats, server came over and forgot our order by the time he got back. Then one of the servers came out in a dressing gown??? How unsanitary.

Poor service ,girls looked like they didn't want to be there ,rubbish down the corridors right out side toilets so they looked as though they wasn't in use even though they were U just had to move the rubbish bags to open the door . Staff spilt coffee down my daughter's coat ,and didn't even ask to see if it had come out . Expensive with poor menu of desserts.dont bother going there much better at Cocos.

I went today with my children.. I ordered a Marple chaii latte and expected to be in those glasses. Also a little bit of Marple syrup on top. Unfortunately I was so disappointed the latte nothing like the usual latte or the one displayed on the menu. It was just full of sugar and cream and served in a regular white mug. I couldn't even drink it tasted disgusting. I asked the waiter and he said they ran out of glasses but the place wasn't full. They were only 4 tables in use.

Excellent, fast service. Ridah was our server, we were a group of 10. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are gluten sensitive I recommend to go try this place. You will be amazed with how amazing desserts they have. I am big fan of “I will have what she is having” gluten free. Presentation of food is 10 on 10. Place is outstanding, staff greet you and you can order according to your budget, every penny worth’s with the service you get.

Not happy ice cream came without spoons strawberries were off wrong ice cream was given with the orders pancake was not cooked properly..... thats what happens when you have kids working unsupervised..not a happy bunny..

Food: We ordered a waffle, gelato and a latte. Waffle was raw, not cooked enough. Latte was bitter for me. I just wanted them to put a little bit milk in it. I was told it was impossible. I told them that I could pay. This time I was told I should have paid more £2.75 for a glass of milk. It was weird. Service: Service was weak as well. Before utensils , our food were brought. The utensil was put without any napkin. We had to ask for napkin. I don’t recommend it! I never come back again!

At 8:20 PM, I received a call saying my item wasn’t available after my order was already accepted. I had to pick something else I didn’t want. The driver then took over 30 minutes on a straight road, driving in circles. When we asked him about it, he just said his sat nav wasn’t working and didn’t apologize. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, the ice cream was melted, and one of the ice creams was wrong. This was a terrible experience and a waste of money. I expect a refund

Arrived at 9.30pm yesterday with my friends to be refused service despite opening times stating open till 11pm (see pic of the door we went right back out of!) What a waste of a trip! Not acceptable to change your closing times and refuse service when you are clearly still serving (a big group where seated eating their desserts when we arrived) or because you have had a 'quiet' day 👎

Was served my a tall skinny guy, I came in asked for chocolates strawberries and he was really rude he said that they don’t have it on the menu when I have came here before and had them, very bad customer service and I am really disappointed.

Very Dissatisfied. On Friday afternoon me and my friend went to get desserts and we was so shocked by the horrible service we were provided with. We were flabbergasted that we had seen a rat run across the shop floor. This is completely unacceptable and disgusting and I will never be visiting ever again. I want someone to take action as soon as possible after this horrendous experience

Visited on saturday and Soha i believe was on front of house, her attitude to working is so positive, her personality and sense of humor was amazing and she always had a smile on her face, she gave me amazing reccomendations and the food was delicious, she’s an amazing attribute to the team and deffo will be visiting again because of her!!

I come to this dessert place quite often as Heavenly is a franchise which is quite popular, and it’s one of the few dessert places in Rochdale open till quite late. I usually come in the evening on a week day to avoid the weekend rush. This place is 100% halal. This time, we came on a Monday night at around 6.30pm. There were no customers present other than my friend and I. We didn’t mind it being quiet, and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit which was nice. There were three people serving us, and it didn’t seem like they were taking phone call orders, so it seemed quite chill. I didn’t want anything cold as it was already cold outside. I asked for the Berry French Toast, but without the ice cream. When I said this to the female server, she looked at me in confusion and didn’t understand this simple change. Instead, I asked for whipped cream, and she said that would be a valid alternative to the ice cream. I also wanted a hot drink, so I asked about whether any of the hot drinks could be made decaf. She replied “Sorry, I have no idea”. Surely, you make the drinks from scratch and should know what goes in them. Because of her lack if understanding of what I wanted, I ended up choosing the Limited Edition Macadamia Hot Chocolate. I knew ordering a hot chocolate would be loaded with sugar, but what choice did I have? My friend ordered a Make It Yourself pancake stack with fruit and ice cream. My friend also got the Limited Edition Waffle Latte. We waited at least 20 minutes for the food to come. The first thing that came was my friend’s latte. It was served with a heaping of cream and only half the glass was filled with the beverage. Not worth the price in both of our options. The cream started to melt and the food came at last 10 minutes later. During that time, one of the servers were on their phone, while the other started to take another table’s order. We wondered whether they had forgotten about our desserts. I was disappointed with my order (please see photos). The servers forgot about my whipped cream, and the french toasts were drenched in jam. It looked like something I could have made at home. The hot chocolate was tasty, but again, the glass was only half full and loaded with cream. It was also extremely sweet, and tasted more like chocolate praline than macadamia. I wouldn’t recommend this drink if you don’t like overly sweet beverages. My friend’s order was decent but she said it tasted average - nothing special. Overall, I had an interesting experience at Heavenly Desserts last night. Other times I’ve been, the staff have been more present and have expressed better customer service. I would come again, but perhaps next time, I would be more specific based on what I want, and I would probably speed the servers up if they take too long. Other Heavenly branches, like in Manchester, have better customer service and the desserts are always served beautifully. I would highly recommend you go if you have the chance.

Went with my friends for deserts after a meal. Lovely atmosphere and amazingly tasting deserts. Also the customer service from staff members at the Rochdale branch was very good all friendly and answered all questions. In particular a special mention to Soha who made sure we were catered to from start to finish. A great asset to the team with her outstanding customer service skills, making sure we were having a good time, rare to find in todays day and age.

I’m not really the kind of person who leaves a review but I had to as everything was spot on. I was greeted and seated by Areem and the recommendations she gave was spot on. The waffle and the cornflake tart was 10/10. Will definitely be coming back again. (Hopefully areem is working again lol) BIG SHOUTOUT.

What a pleasant experience at Heavenly Desserts, was served by the lovely Areem who was very professional, attentive and made our group of friends feel welcome and comfortable. She gave us some good suggestions on what's the best to order, and we're all so glad we chose her suggestions as the service and food was fantastic. We'll be back again, hopefully Areem will be working to be served by her again.

Today we came to heavenly dessert in the riverside and it was extremely bad bad bad. It's usually good service and dessert but today we waited almost two hours and the dessert came in different timing. When the dessert came wasn't the same at all, was like a big mess put together, very disappointed.

food was decent. But, we had to reorder a milk cake because we found hair, they got our order wrong and missed things out so we had to wait another 20 minutes after everyone else had gotten their desserts. We weren’t given any cutlery, the staff weren’t wearing hair nets until they were told about the hair in the food. And, after making the complaints the staff were rude.

At first I was confused at what to get but with the waitresses exceptional service I felt like I had one of the best customer services experiences. I think her name was aaisha, she offered so many options and really made me and my family enjoy our dessert experience. She definitely needs a raise!!!! Food was amazing, I will 100% be coming again.

Ordered 3 different deserts all 3 came with a separate tub of ice cream that was melted and runny totally ruined the experience the crepe was full of chocolate sauce on top and the strawberries had fallen off the crepe and where loose in the box.

Absolutely terrible desserts! Ordered £50 Worth of desserts on Uber and was all cold and tasted burnt and awful! Rang up the young lady did kindly remake us them for us to figure out there desserts are just overall terrible! There’s many more desert places local for anybody to be spending money with these guys!

I ordered waffles today and asked them for different ice cream’s flavour than the usual ones that come with it but they didn’t send the flavour i asked for even though she agreed on phone. Moreover, the waffles had very less chocolate sauce therefore tasted very bland and dry. Really disappointing!!!

We had feta olive pesto flatbread. It was tasty and different in a good way. Jamal gave us excellent customer service. 👏
