Amazing breakfast best in the area and surrounding area. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It really surprised us when we went in. We drive past all the time and wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. Went with our 3 children. They ate everything on their plates. Father and son run and great service. Will definitely be returning and telling our friends. Thanks for the service and great tasting food. Cooked to perfection by the way.

It’s my sons birthday today and he is out overnight away from family.I knew where he was so I called the truck stop and spoke with Alana. I said I had a strange request and asked if she had any candles as it was his birthday. I explained what he had ordered I asked if she could put a candle on his chicken 😊 and she said she would find some thing to put a candle on for him. That is what I call service and a family atmosphere. Thank you very much.

This themed to perfection as an early to late 50’s British eatery is part of a set of creations by a mistress of set design. Her husband, Stewart, watches her hall with a steady hand, clean kitchen and skilled oan. This place, exquisite in its deceit that she has built for us and his waitresses, Alanna and Jess tend with care each diner. It is perfection. To not visit before the mistress of the house waves her wand again is to miss a treat that would have you fall behind m, and such is the superb food served in the classic British style one is transported whole to the wrong before stupidity.

Well I've parked up for the night and can't recommend this place enough, the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. At the minute its really difficult for us drivers to get a descent hot meal and shower due to the pandemic and fortunately this place can't do enough to help with this problem. Will definitely stop hear again and would definitely recommend a visit anytime. Its spotless and the food was red hot and freshly prepared, definitely gets my vote

Cafe very clean and warm. Good variety on the menu. It is not fast food it is good food cooked well.

We had contacted the cafe in advance to expect our group at 11am. The cafe was busy until we arrived. There was plenty of parking space for our motorbikes and tables in the cafe. We anticipated a delay in serving our number but the drinks arrived quickly and the food shortly afterwards. Understandably the last arrivals may have a slightly longer wait.The breakfast was very good and well presented. The 2 waitresses whilst working hard to keep up with the orders were very pleasant and cheerful. There appeared to be only one chef and he did extremely well to produce the food so quickly. Well done.

Food was amazing ! But most of all staff was brilliant too , especially the blonde one , didn’t catch her name Worth every penny spent to stay and food , definitely come again

A friendly cafe, excellent value for money and tasty food, a good “chill out” place. I visit with my daughter on a Saturday morning to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and catch up on our week

Absolutely fantastic the place is very clean the staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely spot on so much on a plate all nicely presented and cooked to perfection I think if the word gets out too much they might need to extend their car park thank you Heathside

Good stop for bikers. Friendly staff and varied menu. Toilets are clean but need updating. Menu includes an all day breakfast and the portions are decent. Good value.

My friend and I were looking for somewhere to have a snack lunch. Thought we would give this a try and so glad we did. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was cooked to order, portion was what we had asked for, poached eggs were done to perfection by Stuart Jnr. He was a delightful young man and the lady was bright , cheerful and helpful. We were so impressed we called in again today for a cup of coffee and a comfort break . The facilities were a credit to the establishment and I applaud there attention to detail.I recommend any weary traveler to try it, the outer appearance does not give justice to the service given inside.

Stopped for the first time at Heathside and was very impressed. Been past many times as live locally. Definitely will be popping in for a meal again. Food is very good value and very tasty. Highly recommend

My Mrs and stop hear 3 years ago on way from holiday so impressed with what we had with the kids we stopped there last year and after a trip to Lowestof 26 8 18 we decided call in and crab a bite to eat and it's still as amazing as before family friendly big portion,s of high quality well cooked food at very reasonable prices we can't recommend this place enough I just wish we didnt live an hour away so we could come hear regularly

this was a hidden gem......the food was so good....and good size portions maybe just a bit too big for a snack but no complaints i ate the lot.....really nice place oh just play music in background...would be better xx 😁😁

This was an emergency stop off as we were travelling a long way with a tiny baby. Stopping in a 'truck stop' wouldn't have been our first choice but it was a necessity.

this is one place you always eat well! Need you say more....... the staff are always friendly and attentive, food is plentiful and cooked fresh.

Norfolk has only 1 truck stop and boy it's a good one , the food is fantastic, it's cooked to perfection, nice friendly staff I would recommend it to everyone. 5 Star's all round thank you

I drive past here everyday going to work and never considered a visit. It came highly recommended to us so we decided to go for dinner one evening and I have to say we were extremely pleased we did. The food was nicely presented and the portions were more than generous. I had fillet steak which was cooked perfect just as I requested. My hubby had the chicken and rib combo. They were both served with tasty veg and salad garnish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Made very welcome by reception staff who were attentive during our visit. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant which we went out of our way to find on our Norfolk visit. Great value food and service . Ideal family location.

Stopped here by chance thinking it was something else. Only had drinks but the menu looked great and good value, the food they served whilst we were there looked appetizing and the lady in the kitchen.............wow, worth stopping for alone!!

Encontramos este lugar sólo debido a mi hijo necesite urgentemente el volúmen, pero quedamos encantados con él. El personal no podría haber sido más amable o servicial. Nuestra pequeña tiene un la alergia severa y el personal nos ayudó a encontrar comida que sería seguro para ella. Su comida era encantador y realmente lo disfruté, que es algo que no puede decir a menudo como ella normalmente tiene que ir con lo que es seguro en vez de lo que te gustaría. Todas nuestras comidas eran preciosas, recién preparado y sabroso, todos disfrutamos de ellos. Restaurante muy limpio y loos y buen aparcamiento. Me gustaría que estuviese más cerca de donde vivimos, ya que sería regular visitantes aquí.

Un momento de la parada espontánea en pasar. Es una pena que no era acogedor y tenía un mejor ambiente. Las dos chicas eran miserables y no interactuar con nosotros como clientes. La comida estaba bien presentada y buen sabor. Precios un poco aquí y allá de £4. 95 para un extra para tu totilla, nada para ir con ella. Pagamos £2. 00 para una rebanada de pan con mantequilla, absolutamente unbelieverable.

Yo sólo he dejado aquí un par de veces sobre todo en la noche es un buen lugar para parar. 22 libras. 50 de la noche con más aparcado una buena comida y una ducha limpia. Excelente relación calidad-precio. El único inconveniente es que no abre temprano para el desayuno. Ducha, etc. 24 horas

Parado aquí para desayunar en un capricho el sábado por la mañana. La señora (propietario? Que nos servía era) hablador y simpático y el desayuno completo inglés era encantador, con algunas preciosas bacon local. No dudaría en volver y quizás una hamburguesa la próxima vez,...

La comida era muy mala. Las salchichas son supuestamente de las granjas locales suministrada por carniceros locales pero eran horribles salchichas barato que puedes conseguir de un local al lado de la carretera y luego van, congelados en un frito supongo, ciertamente no de buena calidad. Este es al final del día un camioneros parada de descanso donde puedes conseguir un desayuno barato fritos, pero el resto del menú era caro. El café era el peor café que he probado, no probar si había café en la bebida aguada. Hazte un favor en Swaffham sí ir hay sitios mucho mejores para comer.

We'd been meaning to visit this cafe for some time... there's always cars parked outside which is a good sign... and we wasn't disappointed. The cafe is one of those rare sadly decreasing things... a good homely roadside cafe serving good quality, simple, well cooked food at a reasonable price served by pleasant unassuming staff.....well worth a visit...we will definately do so.

Called in on a long drive home from holiday, we were seated straight away and orders for drinks taken immediately. Order for food taken and within a very short time the food was on the table. 2 of us had a huge English breakfast and 2 had burgers which came with salad and fries. Our 2 big strapping 18 yr old boys just about finished the burger meals, great portion sizes. Very tasty, fresh food. Pity it's so far from home or we would be back more regularly. Can't fault anything, even the toilets are lovely

Just dropped off for a cuppa and decided to have a jacket tatey and prawns. Nice young man showed us to our table, took our order and waited on too. The place was neat and tidy and the food was good and the jacket was lovely, toilets were clean, two mugs of tea and two jacket potatoes with prawns and salad, plus a bottle of water to take in the car, definitely worth the £13.80p. Four of us visited this week and we all had an excellent meal, plenty on the plate all hot and beautifully cooked, none of us could fault it. Hospitality was first class and we were made to feel very welcome. All four of us will return as it was excellent value for money

The food was outstanding and the staff made me feel very welcome .This was my first time here I will be back again.Im a lorry driver and for £20 you get meal ,shower and overnight parking, fantastic value and would highly recommend.

We stopped on our way back form Norwich on a Sunday afternoon feeling very hungry. We've driven past this place lots of times and decided to make a stop to try it. We were really happy with what we found. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We had hunters chicken and the chicken ribster (chicken and ribs). Both were freshly cooked, tasty and generous portions. The place is nicely decorated and the toilets were spotless. Will definitely stop here again next time we're passing.

I've been here a few times, special requests are always welcomed. Can't get any better! Just wish they had soft drinks on a dispensing system.

Popped in for lunch, ordered jacket potato with beans, and a poached egg (on a diet) and they were more than happy to help with my request for no butter etc. Friendly owners who were happy to serve customers

Arrive quite late, and was only going to stop for a hot drink.. After seeing the menu we decided to have a meal. And WOW, so glad we did. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. We had passed this little oasis a million times on the A47 swaffham bypass, definitely worth a look in. Don't be put off as its a lorry drivers stop over, as its much more than it looks from the outside.

Met up here with a friend , The meal was lovely good quality food and good value. the service was very good and the waitress was very pleasant. will definately come again when we are next on holiday this way.

Food could have been better presented, I.E. Warm plates and hot food. Service was ok but the food was not up to much. Have eaten in better smaller establishments.

Stopped off for a very late breakfast on our way to the midlands. The outside does not look special but the inside is clean and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and the food was good. The breakfast was very nice and very reasonably priced. I would stop here the next time I am on my way out of Norfolk.

It may not be cordon bleu but this cafe offers a varied menu of food to suit most palettes. The cafe is clean and well decorated (toilets spotless) The meals we had were a breakfast and chilli jacket potato which is hardly adventurous , I know, but both were cooked and served with care and skill. The local potatoes are fluffy and the chilli was tasty. Other meals going by looked equally appetising. They are able to cater for people on a gluten free diet and the staff were welcoming. The drinks were good too. We will definitely call again when passing.

We came across Heathside by chance. It is nothing special to look at, though inside it is clean and cheery. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - moving tables outside for us as we had dogs, fetching dogs water unasked, being friendly and helpful but giving us space. The food was unpretentious but excellent - nicely presented and tasty and in perfect condition (eg two things which can be a disaster - omelette and baked potato). Just a lovely, good quality, friendly, welcoming good value meal in the middle of nowhere - an unexpected treat!

Have been coming here for a few years now but only third time since name change.. same owner same good quality food. Staff very friendly and restaurant very clean.Good varied menu at reasonable prices. Recpmmended

Having visited this cafe previously under its old name of Legends and now as Heathside I have found that the food and service are still excellent. . Still under the same ownership they have only improved over the years and have seen great friendly staff. The food is reasonable priced. Recommend that you stop by and try if you pass this way

we use this cafe 4 or 5 times a week and the food is always very good and cooked to perfection.the chicken newyorker is the best ive had..the breakfasts are a great start to the day...try and you will be back

We often eat here and always find the food delicious and service 1st class. Very welcoming and cater to all our needs and make us and our children feel at home. Would highly recommend! Try their lasagne!! Also steaks always cooked to perfection!!

i eat here several times a week and the food is always excellent..the staff and owners are always available for all your needs and nothing is too much trouble..the place has a warm feel about it and the large screen tv adds to the atmosphere..stu and deb have made this into a fantastic place to eat or just have a coffee and the service is great whether you are spending £2 or £20..there are cafes in the town but we drive out to this place because it really is SIMPLY THE BEST........

The atmosphere at this cafe is comfortable, warm and cosy. It has a homely feel and is spotlessly clean. The service however is very professional and the staff very pleasant. I was amazed when the food was served as it was served so beautifully on the plate, the chef clearly takes a pride in his job. We have eaten there twice and and both times have been impressed with the quality of the food. The desert we had was scrumptious. We will definitely be visiting again.

I stopped here on Monday 9 September as it accommodates lorry drivers at night , the food was excellent and the service second to none, because I'm a lorry driver you don't as a rule get good service when dressed in your work clothes, but the lady who served me was very professional and I shall definitely be returning.I was in a state of shock when she served the food , so much of it and if good quality , that's what I call valve for you money, as another review has stated the boss of this cafe/grill needs to praise this lady and the chef.Than you so much refreshing to see

we stopped for a brief drink on our way to great yarmouth from manchester and found it to be a lovely 'stop-off'. very clean and well presented with lovely staff. however, on our way home 1 week later we decided to stop again for a meal. the food was amazing and very well priced (£52 for four meals and eight drinks). the waitress was very professional and polite. we sat on the low tables outside (we had two dogs)for drinks and she asked if we would like her to dress a higher outside table to eat. little things mean loads. our food was served on very large square plates and was presented extremely well. we really can not fault this restaurant. if the owner is reading this......your chef and waitress are an extreme credit to your business. (if they work in shifts...we visited on wed 2nd july-approx midday). i only wish you were closer to manchester. thankyou.

During a long return trip from Lincoln to Great Yarmouth, and in need of a break, we found this oasis. All MacD and Little Cheffed out, this was a very welcome change - great hosting, good atmosphere, good food at sensible prices.... do us people on the move need anything more than that? Give them a go, you'll be glad you did!
