After a busy 12 hour shift the food was so good tonight. Not sure if owner has changed at all, or the chief but the burger was amazing and the caprise salad I had was soooo fresh and had amazing flavour to it I know I'll be craving more of it tomorrow. I have always loved Havanas but tonight it hit just the right spot.

Dreadful. Made order at the till with someone with no brain, so had to guide her through the entire order also the menus are impossible to read. Payed £24 for 2 burger meals that were so so bad. Chips with 50kg of salt poured on them and then 99p for 1 small dip. 1 burger burnt and tasteless, the other hard with lettuce from 1951 not to mention basically no sauce in them at all. Stomach literally burning right after, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GENUINELY.

Food was ok, sadly one of the burgers was missing the BBQ sauce and one of the fries were missing any seasoning (which was supposed to be spicy salt) not as good as previous deliveries

What an utter......disgrace. Pathetic excuse of a burger shop. Staff barly speak English and need to check every aspect of the order with the kitchen staff, as well as taking notes. Only to still get the order wrong. Burger it's self with chips and milkshake took no joke 45 minutes. I've prepared multiple burger and chips meals myself in a more time efficient way then this establishment. Cold chips, multiple other things threw into my burger with what looked like whatever mayo they could scrape out the jar. Burger it's self was tough, overcooked, unseasoned aswell as being tasteless. My milkshake was half ice cream half milk and I mean the bottom wasn't drinkable and the top leaked everywhere. If your even close to this business please turn around 🚨

food was ordered at 7.30pm, estimated delivery was at 8.40pm, food not received until 9.15pm. it was cold and had items missing so very unhappy with the order. unfortunately won’t be ordering from this restaurant again even though the food is tasty as the delivery was an absolute joke.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY! I have reported this takeaway to the Food Standards Agency. I am a mother of an 8 month old baby, & have been vomiting non stop for two days since eating from this establishment. Please always read reviews before ordering & trust them, people would not leave a review if it was not a true reflection of their experience! I had to cancel my daughter’s swimming lesson because I am so unwell. This has hugely inconvenienced us. I have been unable to eat for two days, I have been experiencing headaches & diarrhoea. My partner who also ate has been experiencing diarrhoea. This takeaway shop is always empty when you go past, & there is clearly a reason for it. This place needs to be closed down or have an inspection from the FSA.

Had a battle with the staff lady at the front who couldn’t speak any English. Tried to charge me £20 for a milkshake, glad I checked. Then when I tried to explain again she could not understand my order for a simple milkshake and side of salt and pepper squid its not hard. I’m usually not one to complain, but had I not of checked I’d have been scammed extra £20 quid. When I left I asked for a straw but she’s gave me a box of tissues

Food was good and came hot, I would suggest toning down on the oil to make it more tasty

the food was late and just so tasteless! The calamari and fries took all the moisture out of my mouth and the burger was really really meh

It used to be excellent but it has gone downhill recently, I’m not sure if it has changed ownership. Burgers used to be customisable- not anymore, they have swapped the plain bun for a sesame bun which one person in our house can’t have so that was a disappointment. Dirty fries portion has halved and they are not as generous with their toppings. Won’t be ordering from here again sadly. What a shame.

The food was not cooked properly - my chicken was hard and was not suitable to eat so ended up going in the bin. Really disappointing as I often order from here.

Food was as good as ever. Chips we cooked to perfection. The milkshake was thick and extremely thick and tasty.

Good quality burgers and chips, no complaints, very tasty. Received 5 mins outside the latest expected delivery time (which was quite long as we ordered at 6.50pm and the delivery time range was 7.50pm to 8.10pm, with food delivered at 8.15pm). Overall, it would be nice if it was a little quicker but we would happily order again from here.

The chicken burger was dry and couldn’t be eaten the beef burger was missing the Camembert piece .. delivery was late only good thing was the food was hot

I ordered the food at 20:07 and I’m still waiting for it 22:17 I’m not impressed I rung them up for a refund as I don’t want cold food and they wouldn’t take no for an answer. I will never order from here again 😡

Terrible service!!! Ordered at 9.15pm with an expected delivery around 10.15-10.30pm then it got delayed to 10.30-10.50pm. I called the restaurant 3 times with no luck. I never got my order in the end! I don't want this burger anymore, just give me my money back.

This is simply the best burgers in Bristol. Staff on the phone and also delivery driver so polite. The food is better than you would get going to a restaurant. Honestly it's superb.

App won’t let me change the delivery time but it took 2 and a half hours to arrive and was stone cold and rock hard.

Delivery times are normally a problem here. However, the food is fantastic and worth the wait. The newer menu items (waffles) are a great! I'd highly recommend the milkshakes too.

We order from here at least once a month and have never had a problem yet this time was ridiculous it arrived late and then was the wrong order it then took them nearly 2 hours to resend our food out we ordered our food at 7 was told delivery would be 8 we did not eat until 1030 then the sweet potato fries were one soggy clump the onion rings we’re swimming in oil the burgers were lovely as usual when phoned store couldn’t tell if they were talking to me or someone else in the store she spoke very loudly and fast so couldn’t tell what was being said but they did send out 2 pieces of chocolate cake to bad it was so late it did not get eaten hopefully it will taste ok the next day

Had heard good things but was a total waste of time. No menus in there so had to check online. Woman behind the counter couldn't understand what I was asking for and wandered off three times as I was trying to order. They were clearly busy but it seemed so chaotic I can imagine a lot of wrong deliveries (which they clearly prioritise). Ended up just leaving once she'd wandered off for the third time, and I definitely won't be going back.

First time trying Havana's and I can ho early say it's the best burger and pizza I've ever had. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Delivery was actually super quick but the quality of the burgers were awful. As it goes it’s quite expensive for burgers there but I’m happy to pay it if they’re decent. These however were really bad. The actual beef in the burger was tiny, definitely not the amount advertised. The veggie burger tasted disgusting, couldn’t eat it at all. Tiny chip portions. The shake just tasted like vanilla, didn’t have a “chocolate fudge brownie” taste at all. Waffle was ok, it’s just packet waffle warmed up though. It’s such a shame it seems like you’ve just tried to scrimp on everything to try and get more money but for the prices they need to be decent products. Wouldn’t go back it’s quite a rip off for what it is.

Lovely staff but we got food poisoning here. From vegetarian no less. Both immediately felt unwell after and my partner was vomiting all through the night. Terrible.

Burger was good but took over an hour to get it on a walk in as they was prioritising deliveroo and uber orders over someone who phyically walked in to order.

Amazing burgers and delicious waffles. Me and my pregnant wife have enjoyed the food. We are definitely going to be back for more delicious food.

So I rang the restaurant at 19:30 to place order and they had sent someone to come and collect half of the money and said the food will be delivered within the hour or it’s now 21:39 and still no show and ring up to find out and was spoken to with pure rudeness by a employee

Get Havanas every now and then and it’s always good and I love the King Cheese Burger!

Wait for food for delicery is 1hr 40mins on an eve. That was on a Sunday. Ended up going to shop as reduced it to 45 mins. Food is nice but overpriced. £90 for 5 of us all having burger chips and a milkshake. Will I go back yes most likely but not for a while.

Our order came on time and still hot from fishponds me and my partner decided to try this take out as we haven't had it before and we are more that satisfied with what we received our burgers were amazing and the smoothies were great and a decent size definitely worth every penny portions are reasonable sizes we have zero complaints will definitely be ordering here again

Amazing quality and delicious food. The burger I got was amazing, super fresh and great quality meat. The onion rings were real chunky slices of onion deep fried in proper batter. Amazing service and all around a very positive experience, wish I could give 6 stars!

Absolutely awful service! I waited over 2 hours only to get a phone call and say they will be refunding me as they have one driver! This is appalling and I will never be ordering from Havanas again.

I've had to actually wait and take time to choose the words that could reflect the service and food!,....service (front of house), 11/10,....server went above and beyond to help me (I was being very Indecisive...burger and shake). Food was scrumptious,finger licking good 🤤 10/10,....price is reasonable considering the portion size 🍔🍟🥤.....will definitely recommend this place and will most definitely going back......well done with all the good work you guys are doing @havanas Burgers and shakes

They are the best burgers 🍔 I have ever had. I am 52 years old and bean to lots of different takeaways and HAVANA BURGERS Fishponds are the best I have ever had the Burges are thick not like the wafer thin ones like you get at other takeaways and they have the best burger buns as well. Again they are the best and NO I am not saying this because I work there because I don't.

I ordered a burger though when it arrived it had mayonnaise all over it in which I did not ask for. I rung up the shop in which I was rudely told "what do you want me to do about it?" and denied putting mayonnaise in there. I asked if I could get another burger sent as I really hate mayonnaise but she just told me that I could message deliveroo about it and she couldn't do anything. Ended up not having the burger and having to buy something else elsewhere.

Best darn veggie burgers, fries (angry) and shakes ever

I went down to Havanas to grab a burger and chips. Upon entering I asked for an 'angry fries' and a '8oz burger' with "ONLY TOMATO". I waited for my food and brought it home. As I was unwrapped it I discovered that the burger also contained mayo. Quite annoying, but, mistakes happen. I called up to explain what has happened and the same lady answered the phone. It was then explained to me that I was in the wrong because I didn't mention sauces and that I was the one who was unclear. My bad, I can see how ordering a burger with ONLY TOMATO can be misleading. I have been to countless burger places and none of these have thought that I have been unclear. I went back down to Havanas to get the correct burger and I was in for a treat as she gave me another lecture about how I was in the wrong with my order. To top it all off, she gave me the line " I am willing to make you another burger without charging you, so, APPRECIATE THAT". Well miss, I won't make the same mistake twice, and by mistake, I mean visit Havanas again. So APPRECIATE THAT.

It pains me to write this one star review as I've always considered Havana's to be one of the best choices for burgers in Bristol in regards to quality. Unfortunately, tonight's dismal performance has left me disappointed, dissatisfied and more importantly, hungry! We waited more than two hours for the delivery, only to receive half than the usual 'large' portion of fries and a measly chicken nugget in a burger bun (see photo below). As mentioned earlier, I was a frequent customer at Havana's but after tonight, I think I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I ordered a 12 Oz Havana burger and Dirty fries. I must admit the burger was way worse than I expected it to be. The beef patties were overcooked, and there was not enough sauce, so it was quite dry. On the other hand the Dirty fries were delicious and their timing was pretty good, thus I give 4 stars. I do recommend the dirty fries! Maybe if you specify not to overcook the patties the burger would be also good.

Delicious food, really recommend the Cheese Os and the Angry Fries. Definitely will be getting again.

Fantastic food. Milkshakes brilliant. Delivery times all over the place. Really the only thing that lets it down is their communication when comes to delivery times. Sometimes over 2 hours wait.

The shake was thick but didn’t taste like Ferrero at all. It had a strange taste of cream. Disappointed :-(

Ordered a burger & other items. Once delivery arrived realised there was no burger. Rang up and was told I would get a phone-call back. Lady rang back, said she checked CCTV and other deliveries that went out with ours and assured us that the burger was in the bag (from CCTV) again said bag was sealed and no burger. Was advised that they would not send a replacement until there were other deliveries in my area! (Which could have been none all night!) therefore we had to order something else from the menu just to ensure they would send my burger out sooner (which they obviously didn’t put in with original order!!!) Not the first time that we have experienced mistakes from here. Will not be ordering from here again.

Never deliver on time food cold and when I rang up to speak to the shop the women on the end of the phone was just Rude thought would try again to give the benefit of the doubt we all you boubt to get same service as before will not be going bk

The first time I ordered my only complaint was that it was a little cold but great food. Ordered again today and honestly it was perfect. Had a long, hard day but the great food and service of these hard working people perked me and made my day better. Thank you so much guys 😻

Love the milkshakes at this place! Delicious and full of flavour. The servers are hard working and know what they’re doing. I’ve come here a few times and have only recently realised you can have two flavours in the milkshakes so it’s even better visiting now!

Great food best burgers in fishponds

I've ordered from the Fishponds shop 3 times now, 2 for collection and 1 for delivery. Hands down the best burgers I've ever had from a takeaway shop ! Absolutely spot on every time, helpful and polite staffing, just brilliant. I see all those reviews of people complaining "iT tAkEs ToO lOng" 🙄 Guess what, anything made to order takes time ! It means you're getting food as good as if you had just taken it from the stove, rather than a soggy tasteless mess you'd order from any place on Just Eat.

Waited 2 and a half hours for my food to arrive, only to discover they got the order completely wrong. Complete waste of time. Only reason they get a star is because they agreed to refund the burger they got wrong.

Always always late! NOTHING but excuses when asked why ... even mid day non peak hour orders are late. Their shakes are good, but not good enough to justify what is usually a 2-3 hour wait ... could get to London & back for a better burger in this time.

First time here and they definitely get a thumbs up - been around for over a year and I'd never even heard of them. Drove past and had to give them a go. I'll be back because that Havana burger was life itself!!!

Food was 45 minutes later than estimate. Which had my mate raging! Was hilarious. Top banter! Food was decent.

Disappointed. Ordered from here before however this time it took 3 hours for our delivery to turn up. The burgers are fantastic and I'm sure the staff are trying their best, however they should not accept more orders than what they can cope with. As previously stated it's disappointing, had to phone twice to chase it up, was promised free extras and they didn't even include them. Ordered 3 times before this, but after this experience, saddened to say we won't be ordering again.

I'm in the area every Tuesday and every week we order from there. Plus the milkshakes are banging
