Hatch & Wolf in Belfast

Menu states cross chips are five pounds. Young fella charged me £6. When I asked him about this he said the price had gone up and that normal chips not 4.50 as on menu but now £5. If the price is going to be different from what is listed on the menu this is a two second fix with a marker. Just change it so the customers know. I suspect however that him and his mate may have just scammed me for an extra pound as they were smirking throughout the whole encounter which was incredibly frustrating. Don’t mind the food here but will never be back after last night. Thought I would leave this so the owner is aware of staff behaviour.

Amazing! I went for the beef brisket burger - Nicest burger I have had in a long long time, and I love a good burger. Fries too, mid size, beautiful crisp and nicely salted. Absolute 10/10

Never lets me down...cracking grub as ever

Nowhere on the description did it mention tomato on the chicken burgers and my wife cannot have tomato at all! Plus buttermilk chicken is southern fried. Again not mentioned

To be honest was looking forward to burgers like the pics. Found the chicken burgers dry, and the brisket burger bland. Generous portion of chips and corn.

Could have been warmer. But perfect in every other way.

Ordered piri chicken and it was absolutely foul, it tasted like a week old chicken that was boiled and reheated. What an absolute rip off. The brisket fries had no brisket whatsoever only extremely peppered sauce that it's even hard to eat. I'm really disappointed with place as my experience was much better few months ago. I would say don't play russian rolleate and avoid them at any cost.

Food arrived warm. Driver was professional and polite. Menu is fantastic. Flavours unreal!

No blue cheese dip with the wings which is really disappointing as that classic combo is why I ordered wings in the first place. It's advertised as coming with it, no note to explain why or even a substituted dip as a courtesy.

Food was cooked perfectly. Chicken was well seasoned and very moist. Fries were tasty. Corn was very well done but still had nice flavour.

Please bring back the cross cross fries, it puts me off ordering when the cross cross fries are unavailable

Not worth the money. Chicken was dry to the point where it was inedible, the large portion was large but the small portion had 3 tiny pieces of chicken in it. The loaded sweet potato fries were good and good portion, however the sweet potato fries on their own was undercooked and hard. Overall this cost me about 50£ and the only thing worth the price was the sweet potato fries that were loaded. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately

Once again.. what can i say.. Fab food. Prices you may think are abit expensive, but well worth every pound. large quantities. Highly recommend to others.

Half chicken Cajun style was £13 ... Absolutely gorgeous, BBQ chicken wings, £7 - standard - but the highlight is the spicy rice, what a wonder of taste and freshness... Really the only reason I wanted to write this review... Totes recommend!!

I called up one evening to ask which items on their menu are gluten free as I am allergic. I was put through to a manager who couldn’t specify gluten free items, said he was too busy to go through the menu with me and asked me to call him back at another time. Absolutely shocked by this type of a service from a manager who couldn’t even be bothered to take 5-10 minutes of his time to list of the items on his menu to a customer who wanted to order from them, to let them know which food was safe for them to eat due to an allergy. His attitude was appalling and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Usually ten out of ten but whoever was cooking this Sunday needs to find a new profession chicken was dryer than summer in the desert potatos not even mashed right the roast potatoes were that hard you could put someones windows in with them and a soggy Yorkshire pudding usually the chicken is cooked that well you don't need sauce with it cause it has its own natural juices in it like it's meant to but today was a huge let down unfortunately

Superb quality and great value. The buttermilk chicken was tender and delicious with a light crisp coating . It looked like a real chicken and tasted fantastic Even the onions were superbly cooked and not at all greasy. The box meal was a little more expensive than other places but a much much bigger portion and the quality was well worth it . Now my go to place and cant wait to work through the menu

Food only arrived now at 9pm. I ordered at 7.40pm and I rang at 8.35pm and was told it had left already. We live 10-15minutes away. For an expensive take away the delivery time is shocking after advertising 15-30minutes delivery when ordered. Food is cold!

Unfortunately the delivery was 50 mins later than the time shown when order placed and there was no answer when we called to check on it. Our food arrived and was barely warm. Tasted good after we reheated but v disappointed as normally arrives piping hot.

Abysmal!!! Just Eat is a joke. Left my order at a random house. Called the restaurant numerous times only to be told it's on its way. The driver apparently knocked on the door and didn't wait. If he had delivered it correctly and followed the process the person at the random house would have said I DIDN'T ORDER. Not good enough!! If you're going to use Just Eat you need a delivery map so you can see where the driver is

Very expensive - 7 chicken wings and a portion of chips cost £12. The chips alone were £5.50 - ridiculous price for a portion of chips. The price list was out of date, so the actual price was more than expected. The chicken wings themselves were poor - very soggy, smothered in sauce. I won't be back.

Honestly the best chicken burgers in Belfast. Guy running the joint is an absolute gentleman. Highly recommend

I got food from the newly open hatch and wolf in sandy row. The chicken burger CBLT was great, ordered one of the load fries with pulled pork top notch. Highly recommended

The Bhaji smuggler wrap was huge and very well filled. The murdering the caesar burger was delicious and massive 😋. Sweet potato and fries were nice but cold. Raspberry ruffle cheesecake was small and the squirty cream had dissolved into a puddle and was very off-putting

Genuinely the worst most disgusting bland food I’ve ever eaten in Belfast. Even the chips were vile. The half chicken was totally bland. Not even salted. The chicken burger- I thought they accidentally put a deep fried shoe sole in there it was so bland and dry. Never ever ever again. Massive regret

Food was over an hour late, missing items. It said “enjoy your food” on the app for 40mins before food came. Food was cold. Live within a few minutes drive and still took 30 mins from when we called the restaurant who said it was “on its way”. Would avoid like the plague.

I have to say the brisket was delicious but the roast potatoes and carrots where a bit hard for me (personal preference) The cheesecake didn't even taste like ruffle cheesecake more like a berry and the slice was very small for £5.00! I did enjoy it but tbh £24 for a meal for one is steep so don't think I would order again sorry

Food was lovely but was freezing cold

Chicken burgers were decent but the buttermilk one lacked a bit of seasoning. Rudy Rios had plenty of flavour. The onion rings were a good size and crunchy but didn't taste of much, needed a fair bit of salt on them. Taco loaded fries were very good and criss cross fries good also.

Best burgers in Belfast by a mile!! So much flavour, not greasy and ridiculously sized portions!!! Run don’t walk to this place!
