We visited for lunch as we were in the area. The lunchtime deals are good value for money. It was busy but we were taken straight to a table. Unfortunately there was a child on the next table playing a very loud and irritating game on his parent's phone so we asked to move which the staff were able to do for us. The food was tasty and we particularly liked the salad bar.

Superb service yet again at a fabulous Harvester. We were looked after by Mia who was amazing and helped up throughout our experience. Definitely coming back to enjoy the food 10/10

Sophie our waitress was attentive and humoured us. The restaurant was good with a great system in place as well as a nice joyful atmosphere. The food was ok and reasonable with an excellent choice of food and drink. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stopover at the Harvester on our way home from the Gower - a very pleasant end to our holiday. We were looked after by Mia who was friendly and attentive. Food was good as were drinks and restaurant was clean, nicely furnished and had a great atmosphere.

Mia was a very good waitress who ensured our needs were met. Mia checked on my family to check we were satisfied throughout our visit.

Chicken was overcooked and dry Chips were dried out chicken goujons were dry and tasteless and the wrap was dry and hard All in all I would not go again .

Took over an hour for our food then another hour for pudding even after asking twice for it to come out. Food wasn't great, and dirty glasses.

Our food was lovely but BEV who served us was Phenomenal had different meals she explained everything to us. She went back and sorted my coffee out and she was very kind helpful chatty and funny made our son laugh which is very hard. This lady needs a pay rise thank you Bev for a lovely experience in your harvester.

We arrived on spec and received a friendly greeting and prompt seating. Rack of ribs and salad bar were exceptional. Our table service was polite and well informed dealing politely with a failure of the ice cream machine!

Once again Visited and not disappointed lovely meal and pudding and the price was right, Keep up the good work guys and thank you for a lovely time.

Birthday lunch for family worked.

Lovely food ,good value for money if you have the lunch menu before five pm

I booked a table for 6 this evening and arrived just before our booking to have 2 families infront of us waiting to be seated. The first family was served and then we waited for at least 5 min before eventually my husband spoke to someone behind the bar looking for some service. The barman said he couldn't help because he's not trained on taking g people to their tables and someone should come help, no initiative whatsoever. We finally get to our table which we had to wait for to be cleaned and ordered. 3 kids and 3 adults. I've been to a harvester many years ago but no one explained the salad bar and we had so ask for something for the kids to colour in on as I dislike devices at the table. The drinks order arrived and the waitress whose name we didn't get couldn't tell us what was the difference between my daughters apple lemonade and my alcoholic drink, I just had to go around sipping drinks in the hope I didn't pass her an alcoholic drink. The food arrived promptly and whilst I wasn't sure about my husbands steak I was pleasantly surprised that it was done med rare and was very tasty. The rest of the food I couldn't complain about. Delicious and quickly to the table. The service was rather poor, our waitress struggled taking the order and at the end struggled to do basic maths to work her tip out. I am a blue light holder and couldn't get the app working. I took my card with and they said if I couldn't get the app working they couldn't apply discount. I had mentioned that I went on the website this morning to discover there was an issue with the app and website and they reiterated that it's not their problem and there's nothing they can do. Thank goodness with an uninstall and reinstall I was able to get the app working but please to those who are blue light holders and not tech orientated be warned you don't get the discount with just your card. All in all food was great, service was shocking and as a rather large family spending over £100 for a meal, I think I'll take my money elsewhere.

Food and service was OK. Provision of salt on tables was unhygienic, it was contained in pots rather than proper salt cellars. Ladies toilet was not clean so used disabled toilet where the toilet roll holder was beyond reach from yhd toilet bowl.

The staff were great.. Very helpful.. Its dog friendly and has great food at decent prices.. Good parking.. What more could you want?

Aaron who served us was very nice, funny, very friendly and helpful. He went over and above to try and help us enjoy our evening meal. We went for dinner at 6.30. The salad bar didn't have any pasta left, and when asked for someone to bring some more out, the man told us, there is none left. So we told Aaron we are not very happy, he said there should be some more, its only 6.30. Then for our main meal, which included Jacket potatoes, there was none available. Also Elderflower and soda was not available, and hasn't been for months now, which is very bad with the person or persons who place the orders for there stock. We will not be returning in the next few months. Hopefully when and if we do come back, there will be some improvements made.

Sophie served me and my grandmother today. Despite it being quite busy , she was warm , friendly and attentive and she was so sweet. Thank you Sophie , the food was great , the wait was not long either, I definitely will be coming back more often.

We were a party of 10 people tonight. Lovely meal - everyone enjoyed. The service was excellent. Our waitress was Emily and she was friendly, polite and very helpful. She made a lovely evening even better.

Breakfast has really gone downhill since they have changed the menu. Eggs benedict was drowned in hollandaise sause, and eggs over overcooked. Portion sizes on tradition breakfast smaller than before, ans quality of produce was lacking. Staff didn't seem at all interested in the customers, which is completely different to the excellent service we normally receive there.

Ordered a mixed grill for take away . After only taking 15 mins to cook, my medium rare steak was cooked perfectly, with plenty of flavour. As was all the other meats. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Gwyn the chef

We go here frequently and went there last week to have the set menu which includes starter, main and desert. All great last week but this week was a shambles. Food was lovely and serving staff were fantastic. We tried to order desert last week and we're told wait until after you main to see whether you still want it, we had food then ordered without issue. This week we were served by a fantastic staff member, chatty and attentive. We didn't order desert this week after last weeks discussion and went to order after our main to be told we couldn't have desert as it should have been ordered at the same time as our main... The manager was called as I was unhappy and he reiterated this and he stated that what I stated happened last week never actually happened, basically calling me a liar as all staff know not to do it.... Great customer service and people skills...not. Bad attitude and cocky manner. So much for making sure your customers are happy and want to return. Unfortunately you've lost two customers who spend around £70+ per week there. Avoid if you want to be ripped off. Manager is a waste of space!

We came and had breakfast with some friends who live locally and it was so lovely. Even though we were a large group and hadn't booked the team we're so welcoming, with great food and brilliant service. Bev in particular was wonderful and so lovely with us but Lauren was also great. She liaised with the kitchen staff to cater for a member of our party who had multiple allergies really well and made our experience here perfect.

Great place for 10 men to gather to enjoy a hearty breakfast in a quiet atmosphere. Suited our needs well.

Excellent meal and service. The Harvester has improved over the past few months I have started using it again. The salad bowl and fresh rolls are always good. Some interesting new dishes since my last visit. The 8oz steak & Cajun chicken deal was Fab, the steak was cooked just as I asked and was very tender & tasty.

Reviewed a few times, continues to have shocking availability on Tuesdays, chicken Tuesday is that in name only. Four visits now and not a rotisserie chicken in sight!!! For us has become a last resort venue for food now. Offer to contact you from reviews after they comment but never do.

The food was really nice and the staff member that dealt with our table was friendly

It started off bad, no cutlery or bowls for salad. There were 5 of us, but everyone had issues with the food. When we went to order dessert we were told no ice cream which is what we wanted so no dessert. We all decided no to go there again. We will tell all our friends and put it on Facebook.

Just wanted to say how amazing our waitress Amy was from start to finish. Amy was brilliant with our children, especially our little boy with additional needs. Amy is a credit to the Harvester.

Still no response to my email from weeks ago. Just being shoved from pillar to post. Obviously they do not take criticism seriously. Whilst I cannot fault the venue. I find it demeaning to be referred to as sweetie, lovely, love etc. No one in hospitality should refer to customers this way. It's just not acceptable. Re train your staff.

Fantastic service the staff were so friendly and chatty. The salad bar wes continuously re-stocked our orderd food was hot from start to finish. Staff promote offers and are very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The decor is elegant, plenty of parkin spaces. We travel from a great distance to eat here pasding the Morfa and Llandarcy resurant for better quality food and service.

Hi just been to the harvester in Gowerton and was served by Amy she was helpful nothing was to much trouble and she was very friendly and bubbly made our evening very enjoyable

It's a Harvester. Nice big breakfast with all the trimmings. Decent value. Waffle with chicken and bacon was disappointing. Very small.

Visited at beginning of june and decided to visit again for father's day .Had a lovely 3 course meal .and fresh salad from the salad bar.Staff very courteous and child friendly towards our 18 month grandson.easy access plenty of parking .

The place is lovely, was pretty full when we arrived and managed to be seated. Food was good, arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Cooked well too. Our server Emily B was very attentive and here for our every need, made our visit lovely. The only gripe was that the baby change was key access and we didn’t know so waited a long while for it to be free before asking as it’s not obvious. Would definitely visit again!

To be truthfull its the third visit here and we will not be going again....dont go after 7pm as there is never anything on the menu....pointless putting a menu on the table if you ask me.Staff were amazing but dissapointed with the food also, certain things overcooked.

It's a nice place to go when you are after something and not booked anywhere. I do like watching people rushing to the salad bar that would normally run a mile from the stuff! The food is decent and you are eating within minutes of going in. I also really like the red devil sauce 🤩 The burger in the pic is the double pate beyond burger which is really tasty 😋

Pretty awful from start to finish. We arrived 15 mins early and table wasn't ready which is no problem. We went for a drink in the bar. Barmaid was unsmiling and disinterested. We got to the table waited half an hour for salad bowls and someone to take our order. Upon returning from the salad bar (which was nearly empty) we had no cutlery or condiments, so had to go searching for these. Main meals arrived before We'd finished starters again with no cutlery. Main meals were in fairness very good. Desserts were a disaster. 25 mins after placing order they told us that they'd run out of bananas. Only 2 of us ordered deserted but the first came out with some of the next tables deserts . 10 minutes later my desert came out. Advertised as an apple pie. It was closer to charcoal if I'm honest. When both myself and the unfortunate gentleman on the next table who'd ordered the same pointed out it was clearly burnt the waitress replied "I did think that when I fetched it" one wonders why she continued to serve it but also how it left the kitchen at all. Overall it felt chaotic and disorganised and the manager I spoke to seemed less than interested in my complaint. Overall can't see us going back. Which is a shame.
