Derry was really lovely and kind, made sure my food didn’t contain pickles, and was always smiling. All around a positive atmosphere

The service and meals were excellent.

Terrible portion sizes. They rely complelty on you filling up on the salad bar. I ordered my son chicken power strips and I kid you not 3 tiny pieces of chicken turned up with about 8 chips. That child meal cost around £7. My family and I will never return to harvester again. My combo meal wasn't any better with regards to portion size for cost. It used to be decent fairly priced food. I didn't complain as Im sure it would fall on deaf ears. Go to a decent pub chain instead as the food wasn't of any higher quality.

Slow service food took over an hour to come out, was cold on arrival, extremely small portion sizes, I order the Grilled halloumi tacos, the tacos were no bigger than the palm of your hand which had one solitary piece inside, salade bar didn't have much variety and the fizzy drinks were flat. Absolutely rip off prices!!

Salad bar was good especially for the kids. But the food came and portions were tiny for the price you pay. Desert came ordered 2 ice creams one was completely melted. Waiting times were very slow also.

Went in on a super busy Sunday and sadly there was a lot of missing items on the menu. Megan our server was super lovely and suggested some lovely alternatives, what an absolute star! We were faffing on our decisions and she helped navigate the extensive menu and we all ended up very full and happy.

We visited for a Sunday catch up with friends and family. Unfortunately, some of our first choices for meals were out of stock but Megan was amazing and did her best to suggest alternatives. Her customer service was spot on, she was very attentive and caring.

The warmest of welcomes! Megan was absolutely brilliant. So friendly and warm – she instantly made us feel welcome and had us smiling throughout the evening. When we couldn’t decide what to go for, she gave really helpful suggestions and recommended some fantastic dishes we might have missed otherwise. She even convinced us to go for dessert, and honestly, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! Exceptional service from someone who clearly loves what she does. Thoughtful, attentive, and just lovely. Thank you, Megan!

We pre booked for mothers day. As expected it was busy. However that being said staff had no time for customer service. Food options were slim as they ran out of ingredients. Our starter took 45 mins to arrive (1 bowl of hallumi fries) and then our main took a further 55 mins. We ordered all at the beginning of our 5:30pm booking. Then dessert (it was only icecream) took a further 25 mins to come to the table. I usually have nothing but nice things to say about this pub. However on this occasion I am highly dissatisfied. It shouldn't take 3 hours to dine for 2 people. I asked several staff how long the wait was for food. And not one of them got back to me. I think maybe less bookings for better service. Instead of greed filling every single table and causing dissatisfied customers. No apology was made. My food was cold and my sons was wrong so we had to send it back. I won't be coming back on such an important day again.

Just arrived for my mother's day meal booked by my children for 6pm. To be told there's an hours wait for food. When you book a table for a certain time you expect to be placing your order within 10 minutes. My husband works early so we had to walk away. Thank you treble bob for ruining my mothers day

Our first time at the Treble Bob and it won't be our last. Our server, Megan, was lovely - friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our food (chicken rice bowls for 2 of us, 1 gammon and 1 chicken skewers) was delicious and the salad bowls were a nice bonus. Too full for pudding!

Food was ok. Although gravy had skin on and waited that long to be served for a drink I ended up leaving. The female bar staff were so miserable and just walking around while I was waiting to be served.

booked table for 7 ordered meal and waited for 1 hour for meal to arrive ! food was over cooked ,steak burnt , and most of it cold , food missing from order all the waitress was telling us was that her shift was finishing and she was going home , not enough cutlery on the table and had to wonder around looking for cutlery on another table ,onion rings that was included in the meal was missing from plate told the waitress but still never received them waitress asked if we would like a water jug and glasses , but we’re still waiting for them !! overall not a good evening , very disappointed with the food and service , been quite a few times but will not be returning

Very poor experience, we ordered ,and at this time there was 2 families finishing, we ordered and got drinks ,a guy came in and ordered, got his food, another couple came in and ordered, the guy on his own finished and paid .then the other couples food came !! We asked about ours and after checking was told it was cooked and served up but not brought to us ,we then mentioned "this must be cold " To be told " if it is I will try and get you a discount " It was cold so we refused to eat it and decided to abandon the meal all together, no apology from the manager, who was instructing waitress from the back of the bar ,what a shambles.

First time visiting here. All I have to say is Savannah was brilliant. Always smiling, running round after every table. Doesn’t pressure you to decide on the spot gave plenty of time but not in a sense that she abandoned us- hard to explain but just perfect timing really. She needs a pay rise- thank you savannah :)

Me and my partner came here for date night! The place was packed but we had booked so all is good! Service was efficient and we didn’t realise it was 50% off until our waitress kindly told us, this was a massive bonus to an already great meal! Sav was lovely!

This place was amazing from walking in. The staff was very friendly, the food was so tasty, especially the corn bread. I would definitely make the journey again to this pub . I can't say anything bad about this place. Everything was perfect 👌

Been tonight orders food was waiting an hour no one came to tell us how sorry they were , we had to be somewhere , so had to cancel was disgusting, waiting all that time , wouldn't have minded if they would have said how long we was waiting, we would have not waited so annoying

Food and drink choices as you would expect from a harvester pub, the service was very good and the staff team made the visit a 5 star choice.

There is not enough staff on the bar. It’s often empty with several people waiting more than 5 minutes to be served. Then, they are seen being waiters in the main eating area? It seems as if the managers expect the staff to multitask and be in three places at once. It was a particularly busy evening there and this review is most definitely NOT a reflection on the staff, it’s about how bad they’re managed and ran off their feet!! We ordered my son some simple garlic bread as a treat. After 40 minutes of waiting, the lovely Louisa came to us (after I had asked another member of staff to follow up), with a handful of money and the food item. She said we should not have had to wait 40 minutes for this. The food quality is pretty box standard and too expensive to be honest. Considering you can get a quality freshly cooked meal in nearby independent pubs - I’d be more inclined to go there for an actual meal. In honesty, we only go every few months to purchase their stunning BBQ Sauce. If it wasn’t for this, we’d not go back.

Ideal location for me only 1/2m from M1 Junc30 and walking distance from ibis hotel, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and served by a very polite young lady called Summer she was very professional dealing with customers, I enjoyed my evening there also having a meal which was enjoyable, I would visit again when next back in the area.

Our server Maya was very professional and helpful, The food wasn't great on this occasion -we had fish, chips and mushy peas - the portions have shrunk, the peas and fish were barely warm.

Once a fortnight my two sisters and I go out for lunch on a Tuesday, my younger sister travelling from Ripley. We have been to Treble Bob before but yesterday was a complete disaster..we were shown to a table and I went to the bar to get drinks, the bar was unattended and myself and a gentleman were waiting at least 5 minutes to be served. Having placed our meal order with the waitress when I got back to the table we were given salad bowls and enjoyed the salad. The main meals however were a disaster and the empty salad dishes were not taken away. My younger sister had 2 starters for her main meal which she said was OK. My older sister had the camenbert cheese tart and jacket potato. The potato was burnt black and hardly any potato in the middle and was served without butter. I had the simply chicken with chips. The two pieces of broccoli and peas were cold and the peas hard. The chicken was overgrilled and I had to tear it apart with my fork. There were only two waitresses and no one came to ask if our meals were OK and when we were finished no one came to clear the table or ask if we wanted deserts. When we got the waitresses attention and asked for the bill she never asked if we had enjoyed the meal or anything. In all we only saw 3 members of staff around, the two waitresses and a lady who seemed to be the manageress appeared once. We were so upset with the food and service it was not a happy experience. To improve matters more staff are required at lunchtimes for a start.

Had a lovely meal here with friends. We meet here quite a few times during the year. On our recent visit food was good and had excellent service from our waitress Louisa who was friendly and gave a recommendation from the menu which was a good choice.

Absolutely fabulous meal after a long journey up to the Peak District. Eve both greeted and served us with a smile. Service was extremely efficient and the food was very tasty. Having not been to a Harvester for many many years, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. Thank you.

Had a really good meal here, a beer that was obviously from a very well kept cellar. A starter which was just the right size, a sirloin steak that was cooked to absolute perfection all served by our waitress Phoebe who was attentive, personable, polite and very efficient. All in all, the best dining experience we've had in the past couple of years by far. A definite ten out of ten on the whole event, keep up the good work guys, and most assuredly, just like Mr. Schwarzenegger . . "I'll be back"

So me and my son went to harvester for breakfast after an overnight stay at the hotel next door, ordered a normal breakfast and an ultimate breakfast which unfortunately did not come with baked beans on neither plate, the bacon was over done for my liking, cup of cappuccino is well over priced for the size and was luke warm on arrival. The lady that served us was lovely though.

Came in 10am for breakfast. didnt get seen to sit down for a good 5-10 minutes and lady that sat us down didnt even say hi just asked if we put our reg in or not. put our menus down on a table and walked off. Wasnt even busy so there was barely justification to have a blunt tone like that

What an absolute pleasure it was to eat here. We had just walked out of De Rhodes because the food was cold. We explained everything and the staff were wonderful especially Louisa & James. Such a joy, very comfortable in there jobs, genuine smiles, very nice people. The food was amazing, and hot.

Update Jan 2025 - return visit. What a shame! This time the food order was incorrect, there was a long wait for service and the food was overcooked. It seems to have gone downhill since we last visited. Food is standard Harvester stuff. Service however was excellent. They even let our son pick his table when he didn't like the one they assigned to us. We will come again

Went out for a meal early on this week to the treble bob, food was delicious and very filling. We were served by Eve, nothing was too much trouble for her and was very attentive throughout our whole experience. We will be coming back soon☺️☺️

Booked our table for 20.15 due to finishing work at 20.00 the salad bar had barely any salad or accompiments left. They had no gammon or steak available poor choice of main meals. The portions were small and not value for money dissatisfied.We booked this for a friend's 40th birthday won't make this mistake again

Was ok...not impressed .... having booked for 5 people being eventually greeted with "there's a 30min delay for food".. then waiting for over an hour!... food was ok but terrible dessert menu sadly..very little choice ..... had a lovely young chap serve us though.... not too keen on returning... just pleased we only had one course... we would've been there all night 😞 disappointed they only do haddock and not cod...

Always have the breaded mushrooms as they're so yummy. This time tried the spinach and cheese pasta shells. So nice.

This was our first visit to this harvester, and I must say from the minute we walked in our service from Grace our waitress was amazing, told us how everything worked, told us about what draft beers were available. Took our food orders and we also had the unlimited salad bar, which we all enjoyed, when the food came out, it was presented really nicely, and all our dishes we ordered were all delicious, Grace came back to table half way through to check we were all happy with our food, honestly this was one of the best experiences i have had from a restaurant for a long time.we will definitely go back

It’s table service and we booked the salad bar. The waitress got the drinks order wrong,it’s not that hard. The ‘salad’ bar was empty and bland it always was even before it became a Harvester. My parents came almost at the same time and the greeter said there wasn’t a table for the name I had booked in even though she found it for my wife and I. And then the meal, served over an hour after we arrived and the portions were small for what we paid which worked out at about £19 each with drinks. I noticed there has been a refurb since the last time we visited I guess I now know who’s paying for it all as quite frankly your prices are extortionate. I only booked as my parents were staying in the Ibis next door because the last time I booked in advance you cancelled by calling me just as I was entering the car park as you had an issue with electronic ordering, what happened to the good old pen and paper?

Went to buy a click and collect using a voucher, Front of house was rude and didn't want yobrsje the order Got home to find all we had on two ultimate combos was meat, No onion rings no sweetcorn cob no coleslaw, The Fish chips n peas was diabolical half a dozen chips at most and a tiny amount of peas Wasted journey time and money Tried calling the restaurant but no one answerd

We had a lovely time celebrating my friend’s birthday and the service by Imogen was excellent

Food overall was good, some bits could be better like the steak was overcooked quite a bit for two of us. Service was good throughout; would have been nice to be able to get the bill but that may be preference and the fact it was later on so not as many staff about. It was lovely and quiet, not too busy so you weren't rushed or crammed next to people, but busy enough to give a good atmosphere.

Came here for a work event on Wednesday our server was a lovely polite young man called Max who worked very hard to make sure our table of 11 got serve efficiently, food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen with over an hours wait from ordering to first food arriving but other than that was a great experience please pass our thank onto Max for his hard work

Met my friend here for a Christmas catch up and was not disappointed! They have been refurbished and the place looks amazing! The staff were friendly and quick and nothing was too much trouble! I have an allergy and they were super helpful and had great knowledge of allergies. The food arrived quick and was very tasty! I will be recommending to all my friends and family!

Awful never go totally disorganised, had the table booked for 2 months Christmas Eve met with elderly family members who had drove 2 hours and staying at the ibis hotel.Only to be sat down given a menu at the treble bob and the told to leave as they have run out of food at 7.30pm!!!!! Had to take my parents in there 70s and 7 other family members (who were all in best party clothes) to mcdonald's!!

Had this table booked for the Christmas Fayre for months and our family was really looking forward to being together to celebrate Christmas Eve together as has become tradition over the years. We got there and were met by the very pleasant staff as normal and we had a drink before going to our table at 4pm as booked. We sat down and as we were a booking of 9 people the tables had been put together which is not a problem at all until the table on the end nearly tipped over when i put my drink on it. We looked down and to make it look level around 2 inches worth of napkins had been put there to straighten it and give it balance. This was DANGEROUS to put it mildly, other diners were looking at it in disbelief and i am glad we only put a pint of Guinness on it as it wasn’t even a slight slant but a total slope downwards. We changed the table then sat down. Eventually our orders were taken and as we were all there for the Christmas Fayre we went off that menu. The 2 vegans with our party ordered the Tomato Soup …. Only to be told that they had none! We explained that it was the only vegan option on the starters so the lady went to speak to management to return and say the management say that they will be ok to order a vegan starter off of the main menu for the same price….. the only problem was they had no stock of the vegan starter on the main menu either (Humus). So this restaurant that is advertised as vegan friendly definitely isn’t and 2 of us now had to go without a starter. They were the lucky ones. After having to fetch our own cutlery off of other tables despite telling the staff we had nothing to eat with twice, we finally started to eat. The Chef was obviously having a bad day and was taking it out on the paying diners as when things came out the minimal food looked like it had just been thrown on. One of us had the festive burger one was cold and the other rock hard, peas were chucked everywhere and minimal gravy given on the Christmas dinner which was also lacking veg albeit a little sweaty broccoli and a few rogue peas. Twice we had to go to the bar mid meal to ask for drinks too. I will have to say that it was obvious this was due to management and not to the waiting staff as they were very professional and pleasant throughout. Since the refurb here, corners have been cut on staff levels, menu options and quality. The experience ruined our Christmas Eve and to pay way over £200 for the privilege was a slap in the face. Im just glad we left when we did as we could see the other tables complaining also. Its the only day we all get together and Harvester ruined it for us all. I just feel sorry for the customer facing staff who are having to take the complaints which should really be going to management and Harvester itself.

Booked a table 2 months ago for a Christmas eve family meal my parents in there 70's drove 2 hours and were staying at the ibis, we got to the havester they sat us down at a table gave us the menu's and came back 10 minutes later said if we ordered food it would be ready at 9.30 as they were that behind and while we were thinking about it she then said we've ran out of food actually you have to leave!!, my mum who has a walker and struggles to walk my dad and the rest of the family were basically throw out with no where to eat 8pm Christmas eve and with my parents staying at the ibis we all ended up in mcdonald's. So havester totally ruined the evening for us, I would say don't go to this disorganised pub why didn't they turn walk ins away or ask to pre book the food? Totally unacceptable 😑

Cutlery was dirty had to get some from another table,food wasn't the best we'd gone as a family for a boxing day meal starters was okay mains was not the best everyone left some lots of things on menu not available when we had booked weeks in advance if they are doing a set menu they should get enough products in,desserts okay,service was good the young lady was very nice would we go again NO!

1st time visiting today since the Treble Bob has undergone a refurbishment, and nothing major has changed. The decor is more modern and it feels brighter inside. We ordered 2 main meals and 2 children's meals and although one of the mains was OK, the steak that I ordered was overdone. However, once I mentioned this to the service staff, they dealt with it without fuss and proceeded to provide me with a full replacement meal (see picture). I would just like to thank Savannah for her attentive service, without which we may have felt more disappointed with our visit.

Called in on the spur of the moment, with my wife and elderly father-in-law, for lunch. Received a warm welcome and shown to a table. Opted for the Festive Christmas Menu and were well looked after by Louisa. Excellent food and service. Thanks, Louisa, for your care and attention. 🙂🙂
