Went here last minute due to another venue we'd booked being a disappointment. Booked at 11th hour. They had availability and did not disappoint. Superb menu, splendid food and great service.

It's a good starting place to vet you going for the evening. Bar is always a bit sti by though and ends up with a wet sleeve. I always go back so that as to be a good thing

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch this week. 3 meat option which was HUGE ! Had to take some home for next days lunch! Xx

celebrated wife's birthday,food was good and great music by the dj plus live singers..Great atmosphere and well recommended..plus the wife mislaid her handbag but was found by one of the security staff think hes name was Danny? so he deserves a pat on the back

Original plan was to dine at French Martini's but i vetoed this; and what a good decision that was! had a marvelous lunch at Harry's & i'm so glad we changed our minds. Delicious Tapas provided, a generous seafood platter of chilli garlic prawns, salt & chilli squid, salmon & dill fishcakes, whitebait, grilled ciabatta, Asian pork belly, parmesan arancini, grilled halloumi, patatas bravas, truffle fries.... delicious food, beautiful company.. a great evening

The Tapas was excellent, hot ( heat wise) and timely served. Service attentive and professional. The restaurant was full so wise to book.

Lots of variety of tapas dishes, we had 3 each and that was plenty. No room for dessert! Cocktails were freshly made and absolutely lovely. Attentive staff, very friendly.

Came here for a celebration night out, service was great the whole way through. Tapas was nice, not entirely authentic but everything was really tasty and cooked well. Particularly the Garlic Prawns and the Battered Halloumi, both of which are so easy to get wrong. We then moved into the bar, cocktails were really good and the live singers really made the evening

Had a meeting with approximately 40 people on Monday night. Service was exceptional. Staff friendly and everything spotless. We had scrumptious fish pie. Followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Overall we all agreed it’s a great venue for our meetings thanks mainly to the super efficient servers and bar staff. Definitely plan on a revisit with my wife.

Went for lunch with friends on a quiet day (sometimes it’s quite busy outside). Service received was excellent and friendly and we were there a while but not rushed to leave. Their lunchtime tapas menu was outstanding. Definitely recommend and we will be back

Great atmosphere, excellent music - Danny Talbot was DJ ing there every 4th Friday of month. Other DJs are good too. Nice people, not clicky. Would like to try food oneday, restaurant looks very good.

Exceptional Hospitality, we attended as a party of three and was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. The staff were fantastic to catering to all of our parties needs. They were attentive and proactive on ensuring our evening ran smoothly. It's for this reason, that I would highly recommend Harry's Bar to provide an exceptional evening out!

Only popped in for one drink pre-dinner at another restaurant but no complaints. It was early so there wasn’t much atmosphere but staff were friendly, service was decent, so no complaints.

The roast lunch was really good but the carpet & glasses on the table were filthy. Carpet had bit of food left from night/day before & lipstick on a lot of the water glasses. We were the first customers that day so no excuse for dirty things. The staff were very polite & attentive.

What a pretentious place. Half empty but bouncers refused my wife and I entry. First IDing us?! (we're in our 40s) then moaning about trainers despite people inside already wearing them. Ended up going next door to a busy Chequers pub and had a great night. Friendly, welcoming staff there. When we left the still busy Chequers, we saw that Harry's bar was completely empty. No surprise really.

Popped in with my wife on Friday afternoon Had a couple of aperol spritz and the fish platter in the rear seating area. Comfortable seating nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and nicely presented, staff great Overall a lovely experience

Ifci could give minus 10 I would ! The worst place in Essex, probably the world. Drinks that tasted nothing like they should, infact like nothing i have ever tasted. Bar staff who couldn't give a hoot about customer service. Old, dirty toilets. I couldn't wait to leave

Been to the restaurant a few times and always get great service. The tapas style food is lovely and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.

Was looking for somewhere on the High Street to grab a quick bite for lunch with my 17 year son and his girlfriend. We were left standing at the door for some time …….. after approaching staff at the bar we asked if they had a table for 3 for lunch . There were many empty tables at the back of the restaurant but we were told they had nothing available. The waiter then proceeded to tell us that he wouldn’t serve us anyway even if they did have a table as my son was wearing a tracksuit ! Being in hospitality myself I completely understand this in the evening but this was 2.30 in the afternoon in a normal bar on the high street ! It was a smart tracksuit , not gym wear . Know your place , I will not be returning.

Very disappointed, security asked my husband to leave the bar just because he was wearing a smart plain black Gucci trainer. But in the meantime security let in the guy with the balenciaga trainer with a white sole. When I challenged security with the question why-he said because he’s trainers are expensive. Without arguing We just walked a way. I think rules should be the same for everyone. End of the day it’s their loss as we spend 800£ in other bar. Tip off the day: plain shoes most of the time cost much more than flashing labels. Good luck 🤞🏻

Had Sunday Lunch & it was the without doubt the best I have had in the area. The beef was cooked to perfection.

Harry’s Bar is fantastic. The food was superb, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were so attentive - our glasses were regularly topped up with the best rosè wine. The music they play really adds to the happy atmosphere. A good time is always had by all. 10/10.

Manager was really rude!! Very abrupt and an awful host. Music kept cutting out after DJ but manager unhappy to help.

There are lots of places to go for a drink in Billericay high street but here is by far the best service. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. It’s a chilled vibe during the week and gets busy on a weekend evenings. We love it here!

I booked to go for my 24th birthday with my boyfriend. Nowhere on the website did it say that it was over 25s but this wasn’t the reason we got turned away. It was because my boyfriend had paired his smart trousers with smart trainers. I understand if we’d turned up without a booking for a drink but you just lost a dining customer not only for tonight but for the future too.

Ordered Sunday lunch , meat was gristle and rare difficult to cut . Dinner was Luke warm . Drink was not chilled as requested. Money was not charged for meal . Staff were inexperienced. Will not go back again . It’s a shame because it used to be nice .

Just passing through the area. Walked in on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Staff were amazingly friendly and soon sorted us a table for four, and highchair. Was advised about the waiting time and then updated so we were able to order and eat within a very reasonable time. Food was very tasty, plentiful and hot. Customer service excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Have only had wine or cocktails here and always excellent drinks (but please don't skimp on the lime slices in G'nT's and you need to squeeze the fruit in as you add it!) at reassuringly expensive prices... You get what you pay for. Friendly efficient staff.

Ingrid was our waitress and she was amazing. The service from her was great, nothing was too much. She defo made our experience much more entertaining. The whole night was fun, food was amazing and the cocktails were yum! Thank you for a great night 😊

We had a fabulous time at Harry’s Bar. The servers were amazing and attentive, the food lovely and enjoyed a dance afterwards.

My brother and I had the fish pie special which was beautifully presented in a skillet Pie was covered in lovely mash potato pie had lovely delicately smoked fish and king prawns in a creamy white wine sauce which was delicious, served with side of tender stem broccoli, green beans and peas which had a lovely light crunch. Which we had with a lovely chilean sauvignon blanc. Service was excellent all members of the team were warm and friendly. A fabulous dining experience.

I use to have a night out in Billericay before lockdown and enjoyed a night in Harrys Bar and it was a classy place but on this recent visit it's gone down hill. Very drunk loud typical Essex type just out to get off their face ( At 9pm mist already loud and staggering around)and I imagine the bar needs two security on the door because I bet things kick off as it gets past midnight. The female toilets had no loo roll and dirty Taps barely worked so plumbing needs to be sorted, and trying to get up the stairs past those that could barely walk up them. The staff was mixed, I had two cocktails that a young male bartender made which was nice but the girls working the bar very unfriendly with a resting B face which gives off the impression they would rather not be working, Mind you maybe that's due to the lot that choose to drink in the bar. After a few drinks I left with my friend to a close by pub that was great and we enjoyed the rest of our night there. Think Harry's is now more a meat market clubby get off your face place and dress as tarty as you can lol Think that the daytime would be better because I have heard the food is nice so will do lunch in the future.

Even though one other group of two in the entire place I had to ask for service after waiting 42 minutes to order food. 5 staff were chattng at the bar but to engrossed to notice we were waiting. Place has lovely decor but let down by poor service. Wouldn't recommend based on our experience

Really nice atmosphere, great staff, no discriminations what so ever. Food was hot, even though we didn't get our Yorkshire pudding lol, we did get extra stuffing. Although it was made with pork and I'm allergic to pork. Thankfully I only ate two little bits. But yeah great place!

Quite a disappointing visit for Mothers Day dinner with my daughters, booked a reservation in the restaurant, only to be sat in the bar area, although the food was good, the service was slow & inattentive, I’m assuming because we was tucked away in the bar away, we were kind of forgotten about Wouldn’t rush back

Great venue, clean and service was good. Points lost for telling my friend and I they called last orders at 1 to then have called them early and refuse to serve us at 12.40. Barman explained when it isn't that busy they call it early...

Had a Sunday lunch here. Give food and service 7 out of 10 quite good. Had the 3 course for £26 service there were 9 of us. Not sure if I'd go back especially at £6.50 a pint of Beaverton beer

I've been to this bar more times than I can count. I went there tonight with friends from university and the bouncer refused entry to a friend of mine for wearing trainers. They still wouldn't let us in after a change of footwear for no good reason. Avoid at all costs. French martini far more accommodating.
