Was quite surprised at the quality of the service! Very friendly and lovely people. Despite the constant queues, and the airport atmosphere, we had a lovely toast and coffee there.

Very good coffee to make the wait at London Stansted Airport more enjoyable. Super good attention from all the guys who work there and the products (especially the coffee) are super delicious. Good prices. Highly recommended!!!

The coffee used to be so much better but lately they make the milk extra hot which spoils the taste as it tastes like burnt. The point of getting a specialty coffee is not telling your batista to make it not too hot like I have to in high street coffee shops. Gave it a second chance and got disappointed.

A train wreck. I had the misfortune of spending 30 minutes of my time in this hole from hell. In this time frame they managed to fail my order and throw it away, to drop a full tray of glasses and to drop a full bottle of milk pouring it all over the floor. These were three separate events. Getting back to my order, I waited patiently and listened carefully for my number to be called. It was called only once, it was the drink, but they never called it again for food. I noticed they were calling a couple times a similar number 253 instead of 234, with no success, but I didnt bother as it was not my number. After 30 minutes I asked at what point the order was, and I was attacked by the waiter who insisted he had called my number so many times. He didn’t. He also accused me of not hearing because I had my ear pods. Funny thing is that I wasnt listening to anything with my ear pods, I was just wearing them, everyone knows that there is no internet at Stansted! And regardless, I could hear all the numbers that were called, to the point that I clearly remember a 253, but mine was only callled once for the drink, never for the food It’s ok to make a mistake, but it’s not ok to be attacked and accused of not listening. Long story short, they had thrown away the food already and they didnt offer to refund. The blond male tanned waiter was the worst offender. Just a note to the employers: this place is clearly over staffed and yet there is no service whatsoever, and if they can afford to pour milk and to throw away food with such light heart, they are definitely also over paid. For everyone else: avoid at all costs.

Amazing service, good prices for airport, decent coffee- nothing amazing but still good

I was attracted by the classy name, but the fact that they offer American sized flat whites shows they don't really understand what this drink is meant to be, or they're more interested in charging as much as possible (£5.20 in my case). A super sized cup like this needs 4 shots! I made the fatal error of ordering the large and could barely taste any coffee. A proper coffee shop would only offer a flat white in one size. They do have filter coffee though, which was nice to see as, it's quite rare in most coffee shops.

I ordered a bacon and coffee sandwich, the staff were extremely rude and were talking to each other while people were waiting, the sandwich smelled awful after it warmed up, anyway I tried one bite and went to return it and the waitress told me the bacon smelled because is heated ... I'm very sorry, but it's not the first time I eat bacon and the bacon was spoiled ... Then she said to me with his hands folded under the apron, do you want anything else and I took a muffin, there was no such thing as an apology and whether the price of a sandwich and muffins is the same ??? I waited for the coffee for 10 minutes when there were no people to wait and only when I went to look for it was it given to me.. There were quite a few free tables, but all of them were dirty, during the time I spent about 30-35 minutes, twice they came out to collect the plates without wiping the tables, apparently they have not heard of disinfection, the employee who picked up the plates from one table wiped the crumbs with her hand, pushing them to the ground. After I asked if this is how they clean the tables a boy came out and wiped them with detergent ..... I don't think I would use your services a second time ....

The most disgusting coffee I have ever had. Expensive, cup of warm milk. SHOCKING!

This Harris + Hoole branch was a very pleasant discovery. Normally the quality of service and food in most hospitality businesses based in airports is not up to standard, but this place is an exception. The coffee and cappuccino taste better than most places in London, the pastries are pretty tasty, but could use a bit of improvement to offer more premium quality. I was greated with a smile and served with professionalism, despite how busy it was. Very pleased to pay fairly reasonable prices, and I will most definitely come back here for more.

Coffee tasted like hot milk. Cinnamon roll was like a congealed lump of dough. No croissants in sight. Staff thought cleaning the table meant rubbing the grease to all 4 corners with a dry kitchen roll. If Mr Harris and Mr Hoole came to life from Samuel Pepys's diary, can guarantee they would not have bothered stopping here. What a miserable experience for the customers and the staff.

Wonderful tea and coffee but the team working there is even better! Those two guys today made my day -- they are SO friendly and funny and very kind to kids. Wholeheadtedly recommend the place!

Coffee is disgusting. Got an espresso that tasted like tar. I have a suspicion that the coffee maker wasn’t cleaned in a while. Could drink a second sip because I felt sick just thinking about it. Got an egg Benedict with ham and the ham was cold and made everything mushy.

Just had an excellent coffee here whilst waiting for my flight. Staff very friendly, hardworking and helpful, especially as it's 5.30am. Highly recommended.

What a great stop in Stansted Airpot. Really friendly staff, delicious coffee and quiet mostly. Before heading into the crowded terminal, this is a great place to enjoy a coffee and relax.

The café is at the entrance of the airport. It is right next to WHSmith’s. We always grab a coffee or a tea when we taking our flights from Stansted Airport. Even during summer busy seasons, the café we’re still have seats for passengers to relax a bit before their flights. It is easy to order here and the price is slightly more expensive than outside of the airport, but it provides relaxation during the hectic times after you order. You just find a seat and there are sockets and USB sockets for you to charge your devices. They also provide sandwiches and some hot food though. We haven’t had any food here yet. When you order and sit down, the staff will leave you enough privacy and space to do your own work. If you are ordering anything here, you can give the staff your water bottle to fill in with tapwater, so you can skip the queue at the airport’s water fountain. It is a very kids friendly café when the airport waiting hall is too busy. Come here and grab a coffee. Let your kids stay away from the overwhelming environment. There is enough space for your pushchair and luggage and they also provide highchairs. We joke about it that this is our lounge. The staff is working quite hard here. It is recommended to pick up your own rubbish before you leave.

The food was ok. Unfortunaty the service was not very pleasant. Without saying good morning and clearly not wanting to contact the customer, including ignoring my smile. I will also add that I was the only person served (because no one was there yet)despite this, simply toast with avocado was called by number- A very unpleasant early morning experience.

First review ive given for a coffee shop… and this one is at the airport. Samuel the barista… whatever you pay him, double it. Never seen someone make so many different kinds of people smile at 6am. Its chatter to each person was unique, warm and funny. I didnt even get a coffee but noticed his vibe whilst eating my breakfast. I then ordered one after, because of him. And i have my best friends pret prescription. Ha.

Best coffee I've had in an airport. Do whatever you can to get served by Callum. His job title is barista guru and that's an understatement. Charming, frie dly, professional - rename it Callum + Hoole immediately please.

Out of all the options for a coffee and a snack at Stansted Airport departures, Harris +Hoole is my preferred cafe. It's good to enjoy a coffee and a pastry before a flight.

We had a snack here 4 weeks ago and reviewed directly with Harris and Hoole as we were so impressed with Callum at Stansted... a really nice airport experience and we look forward to stopping there again very soon.

A nice bar with several tables to sit at, very busy. The kind and fast staff managed efficiently to serve everyone. You have the option to choose tea, cappuccino or coffee in various sizes. I tasted a good medium cappuccino decorated with a heart, very cute! Normal prices for an airport.

Ich habe heute die Quittung wiederentdeckt und erinnere mich gerne an unseren Besuch im Cafe vor einigen Wochen. Das Essen war ok. Aber in Erinnerung habe ich die positive Atmosphäre und den sehr freundlichen Engländer, der mit mir auf Deutsch sprach. Vielen Dank, vielen Dank England und Auf Wiedersehen :-)

Lovely looking place. More importantly the service was amazing! We travel quite a bit and grabbing a quick coffee is usually always on the to do list, usually faced with grumpy Starbucks and Costa staff who always seem to have that Hurry up and order attitude. Even though it only takes us a minute. But these guys at Harris and Hoole understand customer satisfaction. A huge shoutout to Liam & Emily. Service with a smile. Very Polite. Seemed to be at peace with their job. Very very curteous members of staff and an asset to the company!

I don’t like airports because they make me nervous but it was really nice to sit down here and have some jam on toast, the person who served me was really enthusiastic and smiley. I didn’t catch his name but it was really nice after getting through stressful security and everything

The sausage roll I bought before my flight was one of the best I’ve ever had. The toastie, not so much. Incredible service by the two gentlemen that served me (11/07/23 - 4:15am). I’m keen to visit their other locations now.

it was quite expensive but the quality of the food and drinks was good. Unfortunately, all the tables were very dirty so I had to clean the table we wanted to sit at myself. that was very sad.

I make a point of coming here when travelling out of Stansted. The pastries, cakes and tea have all been wonderful. The staff are amazing, in particular the gentleman who greets and converses with customers in their native language. It creates a wonderful and inclusive atmosphere. The world needs more people like you :)

At 6am 🥱… I’m grateful for any hot drink. What makes this place particularly special is the team. They are super cheerful and serve amazing coffee with a smile 😊. Sometimes it’s just those little things that make your day better!

Excellent service and the first food place you’ll find once airside and past the main Duty Free shop. Food is very good and overall not too busy compared with the main eateries.

Great spot! Best in the all airport,they are friendly,quick and the avo on toast is so generous! There is guy speaking many languages always so nice and polite,is very rare in a fast pace environment like an airport! I fly quiet often and this is now my go to place! Well done guys! Peggior bar in cui sono stata.Locale semivuoto, quindi nessun stress da ora di punta. Al bancone le cameriere e il cameriere sono scortesi, urlano e non vogliono fare niente. Una ragazza è visibilmente alterata e sembra sotto l’effetto di stupefacenti. Il ragazzo in stato confusionale. Sono le 9:20 e hanno solo 2 Croissant alla Ciliegia e fanno schifo. Per non parlare del cappuccino e della totale assenza di igiene non solo sui tavoli e sul pavimento, ma anche sul bancone e sulle tazze. Materiale sporco mescolato a materiale pulito. Locale molto sporco e costoso. Un cartello scritto a mano, sporco, ed evidentemente esposto da tempo annuncia che non possono riscaldare i panini che vendono. É vergognoso. Un tuffo full immersion nell’ inciviltà più totale. Non ci verrò più.

Unfortunately had a bad experience in this particular branch. As a regular customer in your Southgate branch I expected my coffee to be at least as good as the one I have every morning. What a disappointment. Firstly, I ordered small coconut flat white, I recieved medium. Secondly, I asked barrista (tall, short dark hair lady) to make my coffee not to hot , she rolled her eyes and pour cold milk from the box to my cup! - who does that?? Coffee was cold, milk wasn't creamy and not even warm. I was charged £4.05 for coffee that I literally thrown away after my first sip. I understand, your airport branch is very busy and speed service is required etc, but cup of your favourite coffee should be made in the standards you provide in your other branches. If I wouldn't know how great coffee you guys serve, i would avoid your cafes after this experience. I will definitely coming back to my local Southgate branch, were my coffee always makes me smile, and customer service is better than in most of places in London, but I will avoid your Stansted branch for sure. We are baby drop coffee and every floor was bad . Guys working here he came help cleaning and ask for as on the house another coffee as well ( we didint get) very helpful and very good sfatt guys name is liomm but sure very lovely person tanks

Tasteless avocado, non buttered “toast” (it was more like bread) with beans, dirty tables and 90% of tables are people who finished eating & drinking ages ago who just sit reading books. Nothing from staff moving people on so that people eating can sit down. Everything was served in takeaway boxes with plastic cutlery, despite us eating in. Coffee came curdled so had to take it back as well. Awful from start to finish. Also they’d somehow ran out of eggs at 9am…?

I am not a big fan of the Stansted airport, but Sam always cheers me up more than the actual coffee. Thanks for that and see you in Prague on the 11th haha.

Incredible customer service....with a SMILE. Give those guys a raise Harris and Hoole, they are fantastic ambassadors of your brand. Definitely the best airport coffee shop customer service I've experienced and the only place I'll be using at Stansted from now on. 5 stars for sure, even if the coffee had been bad....which it certainly wasn't! Make the soy/almond milk the same price as regular though guys, it's 2022, alternative milks are no longer niche!

The floor is dirty, so are the tables, and the cleaning staff isn’t doing any work. The staff is unfriendly sometimes, but the food is good.

It's 3am at Stanstead Airport and myself and the good lady wife have just had 2 bacon rolls and 2 tea's, all of it was lovely and a very reasonable price, we were also served by the happiest man alive who made us feel very welcome , glad to find a outlet where customer service is still a prioriy, 1st class and started our holiday perfectly

Tables and floors were dirty. Staff refused to toast baguettes that were advertised as requiring toasting, even after we asked them to do so. Their excuse was that they’d already turned the oven off because they were closing soon!

What a lovely staff - makes such a difference in the middle of international travel and airport drudgery - completely surprised and grateful for the delightful human kindness and cheer they showed to each customer - they were spreading happiness and good moods across the globe - thank you !

Such a warm atmosphere in there! Lovely customer service (even at 4:30 a.m.), delicious coffee and pastries, and also relatively cheap! Highly recommend!
