Love this restaurant ,food is always great and staff are so lovely and welcoming

Amazing selection of small plates. Generous portion sizes & very tasty. Fantastic service and great value for money. The staff made it special for my husband’s birthday celebration. Just gutted to find out it is closing in July. This was our first time but we would have loved to have made this a regular visit. Good luck to all the staff for the future 👍

Visited for the first time , very nice place,was please with the food, very tasty . Nice friendly atmosphere Service was OK but could be better. Was disappointed when we came to pay the bill , paid the extra for service but when I paid the waitress in cash, gave her £30. 00. She owed me £5.00. She didn't come back to me with the change. Went to the bar to get my change . The waitress went pass me a few times, didn't acknowledge me. The lady behind the bar asked if I needed any help. Said I was waiting for my change and she was happy to give it me. at the same time the waitress walked pass her and the lady asked her and the waitress rudely put 2 x 50p coins on the counter and walked off. I sait it was £5.00. The lady gave me my change. Said sorry. Very disappointed won't be going back

Best restaurant in Prescot. Gorgeous food, brilliant service, so friendly.

They decided to close at 10 on a Saturday night, I presume because it was empty apart from us and they wanted to go home. They didn't say anything about closing early when we booked for 8.30, or when we arrived on time, or when we ordered. They told us we needed to go when we were still eating our main courses and when we still had a third of a bottle of wine left. As we were given the bill mid-meal the waiter grabbed our wine bottle out of the ice bucket and said "there's some left in here, do you want it?" as she was walking away with it. We ended up just paying, leaving and laughing about it all the way home because it was so incredibly unprofessional, rude, and just about the most surreal experience we've ever had in a restaurant. It still makes us laugh whenever we think about it, so there's that at least.

Popped in for a cocktail, it was our first time here and we were very impressed. I asked for a rum old fashioned which wasn't on the menu, our server offered me a very extensive selection of rums of which I went with a chilli rum. Here is what arrived.

Was such a cozy place. We went on Saturday 9/12 for my partners 20th and the staff were lovely, food was great and it was just a great place to eat at. Will deffo be going back in the future

The food once again has been exceptional. The service and attention to detail spot on. We've had an early Christmas girls afternoon and it's been perfect. Can't fault anything at all. Gluten free options are the best I've seen in a long time.

Absolutely amazing place, food was faultless, atmosphere perfect and staff very attentive and personable. We had a lovely chat with the owners and staff after our delicious meal, they are very lovely people with a lovely restaurant, very genuine indeed! A lovely venue and a great buffet for 40 guests at my Mum's wake. Very well organised and presented. A big thank you to Lisa and her staff for looking after everyone. I would highly recommend Harrington's Prescot.

Had a baby shower for my daughter this afternoon. Absolutely fabulous cannot praise the food and staff enough. Thank you loads Lisa and staff.

Went in over the weekend. Food wasn’t great, clearly just reheated. Service was poor. Won’t be returning. Prescot has many nice places to eat and drink these days but this isn’t one of them. Looks the part from the outside, the decor is the best part.

Tapas but large tapas - I had two and a pudding and was very full. The pudding was probably not entirely warranted but was delicious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great service though

Had my daughter baby shower here was very disappointed in the presentation of the food and not much choice not worth what we paid and had booked it till 3.30pm got rushed out and drinks took off us at 3.10

My Hubby decided to take me for a slap up meal today. We went to Harringtons and from the moment we stepped inside we were made to feel welcome by the owner and staff. Restaurant decor is beautiful 😍 and everywhere was gleaming. Food was out of this world! 😋 here is a look at our fabulous and tasty dessert. Walk in customer for a table for two.staff helped to fit us in.good atmosphere and setting. Food was nice. Would recommend for a pleasant drink or food. Small plates to share,would order 5 or so for 2 depending on your appetite .service charge added automatically. I don't mind that but some like to know before. Hope they do well because Prescot needs more good places like this.

First time here at Harrington’s Will not be the last Great service from Lisa and Georgia Great food Wife said the expresso martini cocktail was up there with the best she has had don’t pass this little gem by folks... you will not be disappointed

We visited Harringtons for our date night and was not disappointed. The restaurant is so pretty and decorated lovely. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have the most amazing cocktails - some of the best I have tasted. The staff were really accommodating and lovely. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for making it a lovely evening ❤️❤️

The food was amazing and the service was excellent; even got some free pension advise off the table next to us. Will definitely go again.

We visited harringtons on 9/4/22 for grand national day and we were hosted with the best customer service from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented, clean and light to eat followed by delicious cocktails to start our day. The staff were engaging and chatty and took interest in us. So much so we could not get a taxi and the business owner drove us all the way to Aintree. I have never experienced such a kind gesture like this. The astetics of the establishment make great backdrop for an insta fan. I urge anyone to try such a great independent. Thank you so much for making our day that bit special and we will see you again soon! Jennifer

The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely decor. Food was really good but felt it was a bit expensive for the portion sizes.

The food was tasty and couldn't fault it. However this is Prescot not alderley edge and the portion sizes of the tapas plates were very small for the price of the dishes. There is much better value in the area.

Been here a few times now and had lovely experiences each time food is amazing staff are second to none couldn't do enough for our large party of 16 for a colleagues retirement meal service perfect and just a lovely atmosphere we'll done guys

Love the bar, and staff where great but did wait about 20 mins after the barman asked us what we wanted so bit disappointed. Also, they ask u at 10 o'clock if u want another drink but 15 mins later want you to leave. So wrong 😕.

Good selection of beers and decent wine and cocktails. Staff very friendly. We had a few snacks off the menu, fish goujons were excellent. They didn't last long as you can see from the picture.😀 Lots of other tempting snacky options available.

Just had an amazing meal delivered personally from Harrington's Bar and Eatery, and it was so Amazing! We had tapas... and every dish was obviously freshly made, and absolutely delicious! We had spicy potatoes, cod pieces, meat balls, lasagne, lovely crispy bread and oils, and olives. With a lovely crisp chardonnay, and candles we had a lovely date night at home! Thank you 😊

Small but delicately poised. Very friendly. The size might make you think it's awkward but it's not the case. Staff very attentive, decor is loud but fabulous. I can't complain about the prices. Covid secure and that's all that matters

Great Night ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Went last night for our Anniversary. First time eating out in a long time. Loved it. From beginning to end we were made to feel safe and comfortable. Food was lovely, service was very efficient. All the staff did their best to make the night enjoyable for everyone there. Nothing was any trouble for them. Great atmosphere. The two singers made the night for us. We only saw the young lady for one song, but what a voice. Jay was exceptional, what a range of songs he can sing? We all gave requests and no song was off limits. ( well, Go West was the only one he refused ) 🤣🤣. Will definitely visit again. Well done to all x

Been into Harringtons a few times and everytime the food/drinks and atmosphere is always great. The staff are lovely and welcoming, my kids love it here too. The Tapas food is amazing exactly like you would get in spain. Definitely going yo come back x

In reply to an earlier review below.... Hi David, I feel I must respond to your review that you left after your recent visit to Harrington’s Bar on Saturday evening. We are the “cocknys” [note correct spelling is “cockneys”] and “drunken southerners” you are alluding to. However we were a party of four, three of which have been born and bred in Liverpool and one from London who has lived in Liverpool for 20 years! Your suggestion that we were making comments about scousers is absurd and totally unfounded. We had a great evening in Harrington’s enjoying the atmosphere and fabulous food, as we have on many occasions. I don’t think your review of Harrington’s is honest or indeed accurate. However, if you found our having a good time, a bit loud at times, I can only apologise but this should definitely not be a reflection of Harrington’s or their staff who are always very pleasant and accommodating.

Went here on Saturday 29th, Didn't enjoy the food or the atmosphere at all, we was sat next to a group that I can only presume we're cocknys, it was very uncomfortable as they were making very rude comments towards scousers which I found unpleasant and uncalled for, the staff made no effort to speak with them and me and my wife had the ordeal to have to sit close to this and put up with the comments they were making, so I feel this is an issue that should be dealt with in the future as its not nice to have to listen to that kind of behaviour from a group of drunken londoners, my next complaint was the food, I ordered from the menu mixed breads with oils, what I received was mixed greasy garlic breads and an over oiled balsamic vinegar, probably doesn't sound much but when I've had this in the past from other establishments I've always received a mixture of plain breads and various oils, if I knew I was going to get garlic bread I wouldn't of ordered it, so this should be noted on the menu, my wife ordered the meatballs which was 3 small round things in a small dish which was more like a tapas, for £5 it was pretty steep, and to charge a further £4 for fries it was far too steep for what arrived, overall it was very over charged and a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, will be giving a lot of thought into wether to go back again. In reply - I would point out that a majority of pubs etc accomadate customers from all over the spectre, the difference is that its not very pleasent when you have a group who are insulting and making uneccesary comments, which is what happened the night that I was in, maybe the wrong crowds will be attracted to these places, also regarding the food menu, there are errors that should be rectified, I didn't see on the menu were it states tapas, if I missed this then I offer my apology, also the various breads does not state garlic bread, if I knew I was getting garlic bread I wouldn't of ordered it as I'm not particular on garlic bread, and the fries at £4 is steep for a frozen product, so my review outlines my dissapointment and is a reflection of how myself and my wife felt. I didn't think about leaving a review until now but I have been to this establishment numerous amount of times and I have not got a bad word to say about the food or the staff. Staff have always been polite and check on their customers regularly, and the atmosphere in this bar and eatery can't be faulted. I would highly recommend anyone who has not been here to get booking in.

Fabulous place! Food is excellent and not too expensive, served quickly and hot. Lisa and the staff are all lovely, especially the cheeky one from St Helens. I think the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly with staff singing and having banter, but all in a good way. We’ve been twice now in the last three weeks and looking forward to our next visit. Our new favourite place
