What a brilliant luxurious wedding venue. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Lauren, Beth and John made sure from planning to execution there was minimal stress or pressure and that nothing was too big an ask. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and supported us fantastically. The venue, grounds and bedrooms are of the highest quality - it was such a treat which perfected our special day. Finally the food…. Well again it was perfect, nothing was out of the questions and everything deliciously cooked to perfection. Would totally recommend.

I was hoping for a pleasant stay although upon arrival the staff were rude and when we were eventually provided the keys. The room obviously was not cleaned properly upon our arrival as was grubby. We were at a wedding and the drinks were very overpriced. The grounds of the hotel was peaceful but from the start we did not like the delay and that the room was grubby it was not up to our standards.

Our niece got married at this venue in July 2023, very disappointed the bar prices are very expensive and the staffing level very low had to que for a long time as one person serving at any one time. Also not forth coming when serving the drinks throughout the meal even though each guest should have received 1/2 bottle of wine which was paid for, you were lucky to receive a glass. Very confusing layout when it comes to the accommodation of rooms very hard to find, one person at the reception to check us then it took around 1/2 hour to find the room we were staying in.

Excellent venue in every way- and my daughter was able to be married outside in the wedding bower as it was a lovely hot day. The staff food and attention to detail is first class. You can’t fault it. A couple of minor points- winter duvets for hot summer days- no thanks; we barely slept due to this- a couple of benches outside the entrance would be nice as we ended up sitting on the stone plant troughs. And parasols for outside tables. Also a bench or two near the lake as it’s very tiring waiting for long photo sessions. Congrats to the team who made the day very memorable indeed.

100% satisfaction a beautiful Manor House with lovely grounds. Service was exceptional, food delicious and plentiful. High class without snobbery, there was a welcoming relaxed atmosphere which my mum, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed.

Clevedon Hall has been upgraded substantially over the last 18 months or so to provide a brilliant centre for every conceivable type of event. The Hotel lies in extensive parkland with an ornamental lake. We attended their New Years Ball in January and found a brilliant Victorian Mansion sympathetically restored to the highest quality, serving the finest dining experience and wines with impeccably professional but nevertheless friendly service. We have now just attended a christening reception there and found the self same brilliant food and service presided over by the excellent Verity. We were a party of 50 with 10% two and three year-olds who were catered for and dealt with brilliantly. A great location, views, food, service, dealing with their clients from age 1 to 100 in an exemplary manner. Unreservedly recommend this Hotel/Event Centre.

Spent just one night here for a wedding but it made a lasting impression. The architecture is grand and impressive and the interior features do not disappoint. It's an ideal wedding venue with an ornate hall to hold the ceremony complete with gallery and staircase for the bride to make her entrance. Our bedroom was exceedingly generous in size with a top quality queen-size bed, comfortable chairs and stunning views of the grounds and the Bristol channel in the distance. A lovely stand-alone bath, his and hers wash basins and a separate wet room comprised the ensuite facilities - again offering great views without us being over-looked. All the wedding catering was of exceptional quality (using locally sourced produce), including the breakfast that was provided the next day. Altogether a wonderful luxurious stay - highly recommended.

I found Clevedon Hall from Groupon and I am glad I did. I mention Groupon only because this is not a typical hotel in that it is geared more for events such as weddings and corporate events. It does not have a restaurant nor room service but it is very close to wonderful restaurants so please do not let that deter you. It grounds are beautiful and the building itself is restored with a good eye to detail. The room we stayed in, the eagle owl, was very luxurious with fantastic views. The bathroom and accommodations were 5 star worthy. The only reason I put 4 out of 5 is because I believe 5 star hotels should have internal dining facilities beyond breakfast. Their breakfast was delicious though. It was great especially because of one of the waitresses during breakfast. She went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed even when we were late to breakfast and by all rights they could have turned us way due to time constraints. She really made the trip stand out to us and deserves special recognition. In a nutshell it is a 5 star place in terms of rooms And atmosphere with more of a bed and breakfast when it comes to food. I highly recommend it if you want to feel pampered with the rooms though. We are going to come back when we can.

we stayed at clevedon hall for a one night break. the hotel is more geared towards corporate events and apparently the hotel is new to welcoming 'lone' couples I booked the cheapest of the rooms, because the weather was set to be so good, so we knew we would only be using the room very minimally I requested a room with a view, which didn't seem to be acknowledged at all, we actually looked out on the roof and a wall which definately was not a view! but the room was actually very nice and the furnishings on the posh end. the bathroom was lovely except for the loo which hung on the wall at a crazy height, I'm not short but my feet would not touch the floor when I was using it - Ha! the strange thing was the receptionist didn't tell us where breakfast would be served and at what time, so 11pm in the evening I telephoned reception to ask and was told somewhere between 8am and 9.30am, however in the morning, at 8.30am my husband had the presence of mind to go double check (because there was no welcome pack or letter explaining anything at all in the room) and lo and behold breakfast was about to wrap up by 9am (very very early we thought for breakfast to conclude, especially if you are having a break and a bit chilled out) breakfast was really lovely though, it was like having a restaurant meal out, the food was exceptional quality and freshly cooked to order, all the bits to accompany were top quality but there was no serving spoons and you had to use your own off the table, the waitress was lovely too (beware the tea which is served out of a flask teapot it is cold, but the waitress went out of her way to make me a fresh cup) we paid £110 for the night, and it was worth it as this old place even though a bit institution like, is a lovely old property with well cared for gardens there was only another two couples staying overnight that we bumped into so it felt a bit lonely but hey ho for the money it was a good stay and with a few tweaks and a bit more care and attention to those 'lone couples' it will be fabulous

Highly recommended as quite thoughtfully and appropriately the restaurant had only candle lit tables for two to set a truely romantic mood for celebrating St.Valentines Day. The service and food were outstanding as was the music.

We've always loved this place so jumped at the chance to celebrate Valentine's evening at their event, this just confirmed what we've always known, these people really know how to look after you and throw a good do with some superb food, a sharing menu of exceptional quality (how can they make the steak on the steak and chip sticks so soft and delicious?!), now as I've commented elsewhere in other reviews this place is not the cheapest but for what you get, great service and food in an unusual and relaxing environment, backed up with live entertainment, a singer who had a wide repertoire and a good voice, I'm definitely not complaining. We'll be back here again whenever we can, highly recommend a visit to their occasional evenings to anyone, nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff.

Highly recommended as this fine dining club met for the first time at Clevedon Hall on Valentine's Day this year, then last night, 29th October, for the Four Cuisiniers special dinner menu and further functions planned for New Years Eve and Valentine's Day 2017. They provide excellent sevice, pre-dinner cocktails and canapes, dinner (with a vegetarian option available) accompanied by a flight of wines, tea or coffee, and top class musical entertainment.
