Cracking local place, friendly clientele, great staff. A brilliant pub.

Spent a enjoyable evening with friends at a 60th birthday party.

Haven't been in almost 20yrs, but it's still a great local pub.

Lively traditional London pub. Good carpark, TVs showing sports pool tables and a couple of slots. Moderately noisy.

A decent old school pub with pools tables and a good atmosphere. The gentleman behind the bar was experienced and a good barman overall. The young girls on the other hand... they could do with some customer service lessons. Sadly they let the place down.

Had my 40th party here, the staff and managers are amazing great customer care, a very spacious beer garden and in general a very clean pub, will be coming back, thank you for a great night guys

Love this pub great staff great pool so glad I found it& the cleanliness of the toilets is amazing!! The freshness of them both( my Mrs told me about the ladies) , so clean and smelling fresh

Had a lovley time on Saturday here unfortunately the kareoke is not on but the landlord played any music we requested and gave us free shots the staff were warm and welcoming and will definitely be going back thanks to all wirking we were truly looked after

Nice pub cosy and vibrant, met friend after 14 years and searching for pub in Purley way area, found this one and really liked it......they don't do hot food but do ready made snacks like crisp and all.

Used to go in there all the time .Then went in there 2 weeks ago and apparently you have to be 21.They wouldn't let my 17 year old son sit in the garden which is a joke.The place has really gone down hill and it smells in there.wont be going back there any time soon.

Off the beaten track, with an "antique library" which isn't just for decor (actually some of it is) - this hostelry used to have another distinction. Unusually nowadays it fulfilled all the obligations of a "pub" as opposed to a "bar": pool table, jukebox, quiz games machine. Sadly they've taken the quiz machine away (it broke and they decided not to repair it) - and lost my custom as a result,

Was listed as open but was actually closed at 3pm in the afternoon on a sunny sunday - not a great business idea that one.

Average pub, does the job if you want a quick pint.

Beer garden and pool tables are certainly an advantage of this place. Otherwise it is very dated pub, tables are sticky and it smells a bit there.

The lady who works here is amazing always cheers me up great prices too

Relaxed and friendly, log fire in November is great...Coolio on the jukebox right now; would be five stars but the ale selection is shite.

So much potential wasted here! Battered looking kids play area and nettles waiting at the bottom of the slide if your kids do date to use it! Odd notice on the door saying 'regulars only' but a nice pint and the service seemed friendly even though we are not regulars. If you have just shopped along the purley way it is worth a visit to relax.

Total dive kind of place you wipe your feet when you leave. Kinda like it still though.. cheap beer and pool tables
