Service is dreadfully slow. Last weekend there was only 1 person in the queue in front of me and he only wanted 1 coffee, but it took the staff forever to serve it. By the time he was served there was a queue of half a dozen people but instead of focusing on serving the queue, the staff started throwing things at each other. One fella told them to stop fooling around, but the staff just laughed in his face.

I’m local so I visit the Hub frequently: it really is an excellent spot on the edge of Rhyl harbour and Pont y Draig - the harbour bridge. The staff are all so pleasant and helpful and it really is the friendliest cafe you could hope to find. This is not a ‘greasy spoon’ cafe but has an excellent menu and a wide choice of quality teas and coffees. I thoroughly recommend the Harbour Hub.

Had a lovely lunch here. I had the Welsh Rarebit, which I highly recommend. The coleslaw was amazing! We didn’t have room for cakes so got some to take away - the scones were perfect! My daughter loved her rocky road too. The staff were all great too - a very friendly cafe.

Lovely lunch here in the sun. Good to get out of the rather biting wind. Queue took a while due to an issue with the till. But friendly staff. Food arrived quickly and was great - BBQ chicken roll was v tasty. Honeycomb tiffin a little sweet but nice enough. Food views through patio doors all round. Bet it’s good in summer when you can sit out.

Visited today whilst cycling, we always like to pop in for a sandwich or some nice coffee, usually good but today's was very good, to be honest the latte could have been frothier. In summer it is great to sit outside but in winter inside is better if a little on the warm side. Will we go again, well yes obviously.

Walked along the sand blowing promenade (kite surfers in the sea ) up to this small cafe and walked back along the road taking in the sights of Rhyl. Lovely soup and other toastie type meals available. Nice tea and coffee choices. Good choice of cakes. Amazing home cooked scones with ‘clotted’ cream. Wind blew everything off the tables whenever someone opened the side door (suggest you lock that door and customers can access the main entrance) so you can keep the floor area clear . Kitchen area all clean and tidy with ample staff, very friendly.

Lovely food is a real credit to the area. However having to queue on crutches for 25 minutes BEFORE a food order was placed and I was seated made my visit 40 mins long before I bit into something. This is poor performance from staff who go out of their way offering veggie, gluten free and vegan alternatives but offer no table service to those needing it.

Visited with family and had great coffees and service. Two things stood out. When one our children dropped the ice cream from his cone, the staff replaced it willingly and without charge. We went for a walk leaving my mother at our outside table. The wind picked up and she was feeling cold and although the cafe was closing, they insisted she sat inside while they were sweeping up and even offered her a coffee. You don’t forget this type of kindness. Many thanks

I run a string of coffee houses in Central London and the prices charged here made my eyes water for products bought in swathed in plastic!!! Had a hot chocolate (well half of one....full measure anyone ? ) and I wouldn’t recommend it I’m sorry to say. Minuscule slices of cake at WAY over an acceptable margin for a very mediocre product and,yes served in plastic. It’s 2019 and with a tiny bit of imagination that’s just not necessary anymore. Lazy. Short measures and the bridge didn’t work (not the cafes fault obviously.

Quick snacks and drinks are served with a cheerful smile, but although it wasn't THAT busy, the staff seemed flustered. Maybe trying too hard to please. It's a bikers paradise, with the seating both inside and out as hard as a saddle. Rhyl has an amazing lack of the obvious, for a seaside resort..........the smell of the sea..........it just wasn't present. The locals though, are some of the nicest people I've encountered whilst visiting out and about places.

Visited with my 11 year old vegan son today. Sign on the counter stating ' vegan sorbet' option, when inquired was told " oh we don't have any of that". Well then take the sign down you dumdums. Asked if any other vegan options. No -except for a packet of sad looking banana bites whatever tf they are. There was no apologies from any of the staff who frankly looked baffled by such a request. Most places have several vegan options nowadays. To have none is unacceptable. My child had to make do with a packet of crisps and to cap it all we were served by a grumpy lady who took forever and looked thoroughly miserable in her job.

Just what the harbour needed. More would be welcome! A place to chill and relax, enjoy a tasty snack or ice cream. It’s small inside, but there are tables and chairs outside too. Gets very busy at times, and does seem understaffed. Think waitress service would be better ~ as apart from having to queue inside taking up space, it’s tiring standing waiting - again because of lack of staff. Much nicer to be sat relaxing! We had planned a family cycling trip from Belfast to Birkenhead and whilst planning I had noticed that this place had good reviews so it became an intentional coffee stop on our way. We locked our bikes up outside and went into the café where there were a few tables spare around lunchtime. My wife and I ordered coffees and a caramel slice and our kids had an ice cream each. It all came to just under £10 which I found pretty reasonable for the location of the café and the quality of what we got. The coffees and slice were lovely and I must admit the vanilla ice cream went down better than the chocolate one! The adjoining toilets were clean and there were plenty of little booklets of information available beside the café too. Next door is the bike shop, where I managed to buy a new rotor after bending one on a previous days fall. All in all, a nice little café which we'd have no hesitation visiting if we're ever passing again.

Went to meet friends for coffee, cake and catch up. Fabulous location, and was lovely to see the bridge being raised to let the boats under. Very clever design and technology. We all had lattes to start, but sadly they were all lukewarm! Didn't like to complain as have been before and the staff are very friendly, but as the prices are not cheap it was a shame! We then changed to different drinks and sampled welsh rarebit, toasted teacakes and scones, which were all good. Carl, the little waiter, was very sweet and was doing his best, however, the management is not very slick, and a bit chaotic at times, and the tsbles could do with a real deep clean as they were a bit sticky, and not sure if they get wiped down each time. Can't fault the location though, they just need a bit more attention to detail in order to charge those prices.

Love this little gem for a coffee break where you are greeted with lovely staff. Trouble is it's a hard decision to make between a lovely slice of cake or the sausage bap!!!

Unfortunately there was a problem with the oven, so the choice was limited, but the food was great and the staff friendly.Well worth a visit.

What a fantastic restaurant. We went on a whim as in the area and we're not disappointed. The food was stunning, freshly prepared, visually pleasing and varied to suit all tastes. The service was discreet and not intrusive Particular mention to the swordfish and accompanying sauce. Will absolutely come again

Had just got off of the Tram and looking for somewhere for a light bite. Found The Copper Mill and went in to order. What a lovely couple. I had got myself confused and would have tried the GF free bread but it was not essential.. the Lady offered to go to the shop to buy some but I said regular brown would be ok. Lovely prawn sandwich with some side salad on it. Place very clean as well.. PS We found the Home Front Museum with your directions. Thank You. Would recommend highly.
