Osborne's Cafe and Grill in Conwy

Fantastic place with a lot of atmosphere. The food was on point and the same goes for the service. We chose to go for a candlelight dinner. A three-course meal and a complimentary drink at a price tag of £35. It was worth it. Very clean and cosy place. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is near the promenade. Looking forward to the next visit.

El lugar era tan atmosférico .. el personal era todo maravilloso y tan servicial y alegre . . y en cuanto a la comida . . estaba cocinado maravillosamente, servido caliente, porciones de buen tamaño y una buena gama de opciones Todos en nuestra fiesta estaban tan contentos de que habíamos elegido este hotel. Realmente no podrían ser culpables y sin duda los recomendaremos!

Primera revisión en cuenta "nueva" (anteriormente bajo susyq 1967 ). Así que no había visitado la casa Osborne por algún tiempo. Lo recordaba como algo torpe. Bueno, aún lo es. El servicio era bueno. Comí ensalada de remolacha y queso de cabra, filete y tarta de queso. Todo con un vaso de vino de casa. Su pareja tenía pastel de pescado, curry y queso. £ 35 por persona. También teníamos una botella de blanco que era de £ 25 y significativamente mejor que el vino incluido. La comida era buena pero no del todo excelente. Un poco de gragea en filete y papas fritas ligeramente grasientas. Las porciones eran generosas y un tres platos con vino una ganga a £ 35. La decoración es buena. Se siente bastante opulento. Sentado en ventanal para terminar nuestro vino con una bonita vista. En general una buena experiencia.

Excelente servicio y atención. La comida era muy recomendable por un amigo. Comida de 3 platos con copa de vino gratis . meun cambiado todos los días . Excelente elección de comida 😋 también tenía café y cócteles irlandeses 🍸 . pesebre y camarero muy servicial para ayudar si no está seguro sobre la comida en meun fuimos 5 veces mi pareja tenía el bistec y hecho a como le gustó azul no puede esperar para volver de nuevo

Un restaurante encantador, decoración muy clásica. Un menú de buena elección a un precio. Ofreciendo una buena selección. Las comidas fueron cocinadas y presentadas excelentemente. El personal era muy amable. El precio incluye una copa de vino de cortesía.

This place was incredible! Booked the day before and latest slot we had was 18:15, we got there on time and was seated immediately, the service was great and friendly, food was also amazing and the atmosphere on top was great! Would definitely visit again.

Only complaint is peppercorn sauce very watery and asked for a medium ribeye it was served medium rare

Food was excellent..we had the steak. Always a lovely welcome in a warm convivial atmosphere. Good old-fashioned service with an excellent menu. Look forward to our every visit.

Food very disappointing - service lacked any friendliness

Peter was absolutely lovely, thank you for hosting us and for being so friendly. All the food is beautiful, homemade bread by Alison and the broccoli and Stilton soup was to die for. The lamb shank just fell off the bone. We’d love to come back!

A nice place to go for some food. The food is good, but the service can feel a little... stuffy... at times. It hasn't put us off coming back though.

Just an absolutely fantastic restaurant. A real gem. We have been there several times and plan to eat there the next time we are in Llandudno.

Food not quite as good as previous visits 😕 still tasty but....

Med rare steak came well done and little taste. When asked at end of meal how everything was l said so and staff became very defensive no apology, she was actually way worse than the meal... we won't be back

Had the three course dinner with wine. Food was excellent, recommend the steak and pan fried chicken. Home made desserts were also very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All in all a great meal in a beautiful room.

Fantastic 3 course set menu, including a large glass of wine or equivalent soft drink. The inside looks very plush and the service was excellent.

Top quality food, excellent service & value (3 courses with small carafe of wine per person £28.50) in a comfortable setting with squishy sofas to relax in afterwards. What more do you want?

A very nice restauranr, the style is absolutly typically for the region , glamorous spirit of the good old times. The food is very delicious.

Doesn't look much from the outside but when we went inside uts amazing. Food was spot on. Do a 3 course meal with wine which was really nice for £24 will definitely go again when in the area. Staff where reallynfriendly and efficient too

A candlelight 3 course meal with a large glass of wine very reasonable especially as the food is amazing! Well recommended. Opens at 5 so we were able to have a delicious meal before going to the Theatre.

Lovely for a treat. Great value. Pan-fried chicken, spring onion mash and mange tout. Simple food raised to the next level by great prep and presentation.

The set meal has a suppliment charge on certain meals which is a shame, however the decor and atmosphere in Osborne's is up there with the best along the north Wales coast. Good food and enough of it too

Really enjoyed our experience in Osborne House. Been on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal. The set menu had an excellent choice and perfect portion size.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Particularly Steve (waiting on staff) who was very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend Osborne House and will definitely be going again.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service we experienced at Osbourne House. The gooseberry and elderflower trifle was one of the highlights. We will definitely return on our next trip to Llandudno.

Lovely restaurant could not fault the food or staff

Very disappointing visit last evening. The surrounds are opulent and the food was delicious but front of house needs some work. On arrival we had no welcome and ushered to our table with no finesse. Even taking covid into consideration it was not a good experience. We felt unwanted and unworthy. The speed of service was exceptional we could have been in a fast food outlet to get as many bums on seats and get them out as soon as possible. The food and surroundings deserve so much more than we experienced. Unfortunately there are no second chances so we will not return.

We loved this previously and our meal was fine. The steak was well cooked, delicious and the food was excellent on the whole but the service seemed a little lacking, we missed the basket of warm plentiful bread we had had pre-pandemic and being sat in the conservatory wasn't as good as the dining room. .

We were so much looking forward to our evening following excellent reports on TripAdvisor.However we were totally disappointed from the outset.We booked for 6.00pm, when we arrived we were shown to a table in an room off the main restaurant which couldOnly be described as a large store room or mortuary! The room was full of white tables and chairs covered completely with white tablecloths. There was nobody in this side room and only one table occupied in the main restaurant, the restaurant that we thought we had booked.We asked politely if we could move tables into the main restaurant as we were not comfortable sitting in this room, but were told we couldn’t due to social distancing !! As the evening went on it was clear it wasn’t fully booked and there were free tables in the restaurant.We were clearly unhappy we couldn’t move and so I sat facing the wall all night in a corner. They made us feel totally unwelcome with a very unfriendly atmosphere.We also had wobbly legs on both chairs, and when we asked could we swap the chairs, it was met with exasperation as if we were being difficult !! The food was mediocre at best, very small starters, which were not great, the trout was dry and minuscule with four tiny prawns. The Crostini was so hard it would have broken a tooth, so I just used my tiny bread roll for the pate.Nobody asked us once if everything was ok !The lamb was tasteless and on a bed of tasteless watery mash, it was insipid, and the beef stroganoff was full of peppers and lacked any cream, and again the meat was chewy.Having read such good reviews, we would find it hard to find any positives in what was a very disappointing evening, having felt that we were an inconvenience being there. In these times you would think customers would be looked after and gratefully appreciated but it seems not in this restaurant.

Osborne House is my favourite place to eat in Llandudno. The food is excellent and they have the most fabulous dining room. All Covid management measures are in place.

We managed to book into Osborne's for their 3 course fixed menu. It was absolutely well worth the wait, the whole night from start to finish was excellent. The service was great, attentive staff, really professional, made it feel special. The food was exceptional, well presented, cooked to perfection, and good portions (we thought they might be smaller due to the price, but not so). Although it is a fixed menu there was plenty of choice, and the House wine that accompanied it was good too. It was superb value, and more so due to the quality and portion size, and the attentive staff.The restaurant is within the hotel, which has a very classy feel, and was very clean and Covid safe, sanitiser available and tables well spaced. We're returning to Llandudno for New Year period and are really hoping to get booked into the restaurant again then, as we know based on this visit that it will make for a fabulous NYE!Highly recommended!
