Happy Seasons in Manchester

It's a takeaway so obviously atmosphere doesn't matter. Very friendly place and food is always good and reasonably priced. Never had a bad meal

Absolutely amazing. This is the best Chinese restaurant in this area and I would go as far as saying it's the best in Manchester. The flavor of the food is outstanding and it's always cooked perfectly and always hot. The customer service is on point. The lady on the phone is so polite and respectful, which makes the experience a lot better because it shows they care. They always give free prawn crackers and spring rolls. I cannot complain. If you haven't tried this place, do it ASAP. Ignore the star rating; it's irrelevant. This place is a 10/10. We've tried hundreds of Chinese takeaways over the years. I hope this place is around for a long time because we would be sad to see it go or change owners. Thanks, Happy Seasons! 👍

Food was very nice, Took a while for what I ordered but A kid came from behind the counter and sat down and tried to go through my shopping bag! Will never be going inside again! If you enter with a bag be careful!!

Fantastic food at a wonderful price. The gravy is the proper old style dark brown almost black and is to die for. The Chinese dishes are absolutely delicious, I'm slowly making my way through the entire menu 🙈

Have used this takeaway many times but tonight I ordered £40 food for the family and waited over an hour for food, eventually I decided to drive to them and pick up to find out they were closed , still took the money on 115 115 and no way of contacting them for reimbursement! 115 115 and Happy Seasons you should be ashamed !! Regular customer lost for good

Ordered via the website tonight, it’s been nearly 2 hours and no food has arrived, called numerous times just to at least get an update but no answer? Poor poor service…

I’ve been waiting for them to reopen after a month of being closed, went online placed my order last night as they were supposed to be open for delivery, payment was taken. Yet no confirmation email and no food!! Drove there to see they were still closed although the website wasn’t updated, emailed to chase refund and no response.

Terrible!! Used a few times as local but food quality has dropped last few months but tonight topped it! Ordered for my wife and kids and waited 90 minutes, rang and rang no answer so drove to see what the issue was and shop was closed! Even though they had taken my money BEWARE no way of getting money back from their website 115 115 , won’t use again , pay the little extra for Just Eat and have a contact if anything goes wrong

said it was open, took our order, and we waited for an hour - no food. since we live local we decided to go and see what was going on in person and it was closed!!! they have taken our money too, and appeared open on google to everyone. terrible management

I have used this takeaway for years, left good reviews (now deleted) and recommended them to others. Tonight, I ordered via their website and spent £14.60. After waiting for the food, I rang and they said they hadn't received my order. I went to the restaurant with my son and showed them transaction on my banking app. Despite admitting that they had issues with the system and told us not to use it to order, they refused to refund my money or give us the food we had ordered. The owner was extremely rude and arrogant, talking over me when I tried to speak. Have raised it with my bank but won't be using this place or recommending it 😡

Lovely food, proper chips made from potatoes not frozen grease tubes. They're delicious. Salt and pepper ribs are amazing.

I was unsure how the "crispy noodle" and "soft noodles with beansprouts" options differed. I requested assistance in this regard as I wasn't sure if the soft noodles came with sauce etc... A man answered the phone: Me: "Hello, could you please explain to me the difference between the soft noodles and crispy noodles? How are they made?" Man: "Yes, crispy noodles are crispy and soft noodles are soft" Me: "well, yes I gathered that... how are they made?" Man: "crispy noodles are made crispy and soft noodles are made soft" Me: "ok, I'm still not understanding.. is it fried, boiled, does it have sauce, is it dry...I need more information." Man: "I don't know what else you want me to say, crispy is crispy, soft is soft." Me: "never mind" - hang up I did still order from here via their website as many of the other local chinese shops only take cash; the food tasted lovely but they seriously need to work on their customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Happy Seasons used to be one of the nicest Chinese chippies in Wythensawe. Not any more! Every time we have ordered in the last few months, it's been cold, tasteless, soggy salt and pepper chips, chewy chicken and awful curry sauce that came out the tub in slabs. No pouring of the curry on, I asked the kids how many slices of curry they wanted. I phoned them to tell them the food wasn't edible and they weren't interested in trying to rectify it. I said I wouldn't be ordering again and they said that's fine because they can't be bothered with the hassle. Lost a good customer 👍

Still waiting for my food after 1 1/2 hours. So ridiculous. Won't order from here again

I get takeaways from here all the time. I've always been more then happy with the food The service is good and the price is not ridiculous, like some Chinese/chippy takeaways are. Definitely worth a try.

I had a food once (a month ago)which was very fresh with nice crunchy green peppers.Unfortunately tonight whole food was too salty,old dry chicken,probably from yesterday ,super dry noodles and peppers were absolutely trasluscent(which happens when you leave peppers for longer in sauce then 24hours and you re-heat it.)Awfull.I will never buy take away from there.Now I know why I got food within 2minutes.

First time ordering from here and I have to say… Very impressed and will be ordering again! A late order on a Saturday night and said would be 30 mins was here in 20 and food was so fresh and hot!

Terrible, ordered salt and pepper chips and sweet and sour special. 70 percent of my salt and pepper chips were hard and tiny. Obviously lunchtimes chips re heated. And my sweet and sour special, had 11 pieces of meat and 2 prawn the meat was terrible, and I ended up throwing almost all of it away, along with 70 per cent of my salt and pepper chips. And to top it all of the order was 35 mins late. TERRIBLE, would never ever use again.

WILL NOT USE HAPPY SEASONS AGAIN CHIPS !! TASTE OF STAGNANT WATER PROBABLY STOOD OVER NIGHT NEVER AGAIN (MANKY)

Great value food, I've tried a few thing of the menu and enjoyed them all

1st time for ordering from here and it will be the last. Website asks for a requested time of delivery and with our little one we requested 7.30pm. Driver turned up at 6.40pm which was a surprise (he was nice). Phoned takeaway to be advised they had confirmation of order with no requested time, which the driver read out to them on my phone as exactly 7.30, they then said it would arrive anytime up until 7.30pm. What is the point of having that feature? Extremely rude man at the takeaway who wasn't interested in customer service or helping and has ruined the evening. Food shall now be cold so thank you for a rubbish meal.

new in the area phoned order through got a beef dish instead of a king prawn phoned to tell them the mistake and was told that what was ordered funny how the beef dish was cheaper than the king prawn but was charged for the prawn dish not the only Chinese in the area lost 3 dishes per week another has gained

Girlfriend ordered chicken singapore vermicelli. Came as a chow mein with wet thick noodles. Rang up for a correction and staff quite arrogant on the phone (no correction or refund offered despite asking for a correction) and admitted it was chow mien with vermicelli sauce.

We've ordered there on several occasions over the last couple of months and on the whole they aren't too bad. They regularly forget our free portion of crackers, but we won't hold that against them. Tonight they messed our order up a little, adding extras and replacements BUT what they provided would have cost us more than what we had ordered lol They are OK. If you are stuck for a quick, reasonably priced meal and don't mind the possibility of a slightly upset stomach and multiple trips to the loo over some suspicious looking chicken then this place will do.

The food is good and very reasonably priced. The whole family like it.

Best noodle boxes,just can be very slow and sometimes late on delivery

Not great used to be really good a couple of years ago. However, has steadily gone down hill. Tonight the woman who took my order was rude and abrupt. I ordered a mixed meat and mushroom and was delivered salt and pepper mushroom. Noodles and bean sprouts were full of grated carrot!! Prawn toast was fried in old oil. Not good won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered 3 times from this restaurant, they are open until 11pm at night, at 7:55pm my order has been declined twice. Telling me they can’t fulfil it? Pretty sure they are not that busy! No reason, don’t put your business on JustEat if you can’t deliver! Absolutely appalling service.

Worse Chinese takeaway I've been to..AWFUL

I ordered Saturday 25th January. Apart from the soup the food was awful. I have had food from here before but this time it went in the bin. Maybe the chef had an off day but I will not risk ordering from here again.
