Happy House in Cardiff

Dreadful watery no seasoning. Limp and grim. I bought for my partner birthday and her best friend. Half my disposable weekly income. So embarrassed now.

Ordered delivery on Uber eats. Food arrived nearly hour late. Spring rolls soggy curry bright orange with tasteless chicken chips were like cardboard. Partners meal no better Will not be ordering from there again

Lets be honest good food, extremely poor customer service hung up the phone even worse uber eats delivery that don't even ring your bell or knock your door wondering why the wont come to the door?

I ordered chicken curry with sat and pepper chip over £17 with Uber eats. Plenty of chips not much chicken curry. I phoned up and the woman lied she said she saw the portion and there was plenty. It was all sauce. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WHAT A TOTAL DISGRACE OVER £17 come on you rip off

Ordered last night, food was absolutely lovely, delivered promptly, piping hot and delicious, compliments to the chef!

Massive disappointment I order once a week and have amazing results. Tonight was terrible.wrong order delivered and when called mentioned this, told I ordered the wrong dish which was not the case. I ordered roast chicken Cantonese, but delivered crispy chicken Cantonese which I do not like due the sticky sweet sauce. When I called I was shut down and told I was wrong. Shame I won’t use you again after so many orders. The lovely lady was off tonight unfortunately and they ruined my future custom.

Have used this take away a number times, good food but appalling delivery times and useless communication skills

Both myself and my partner were physically ill, vomiting etc after discovering the chicken was gone off, a few mouthfuls, then realised it was horrible - spent the whole night on the toilet - Avoid big time

Bought an all in one tray this time. Requested noodles/ chips/ rice and curry sauce. The curry had a perfect consistency and colour and was given in a separate tub. The onions and spring onions were fresh in the noodles, the rice was similar to special fried without the additional stuff. The chips were relatively soft and not massively dry like you can get in other places. Customer service was beyond polite. Not usually a massive fan of Chinese but 5/5 would highly recommend, one of the best I have had!

Take away- ordered the Sesame Crispy Chicken and the Smoked Chicken with Garlic...one was too oily/salty, the other one was bland. Long story short, the complementary fortune cookies were the only decent thing to eat

Just ordered big meal again from this place it's delicious, excellent quality food and lots of it..really tasty I highly recommend this take away. 10/10

The food came on time and was delicious. I called them up to confirm they were halal after reading that they are on JustEat, to be told that only the CHICKEN, BEEF & LAMB is. So avoid the duck and obviously pork.

Ordered a takeaway and although the chips were not at first delivered they did deliver them really quickly and our meal was fantastic went to top of our favourite Chinese takeaways and reasonably priced thank you

Only eat from this place if it is the last Chinese open in Cardiff! China kitchen across the road is 100% better, the food and staff are second to none and the only reason we visited happy house was because China kitchen was closed. The staff are extremely rude and both meals had hairs in.

My fiancé and I order from here regularly, we much prefer to phone up as cheaper than going through the Just Eat app. Food is always delicious, egg fried rice is fab. We love the Cantonese sweet and sour chicken and staff are always helpful. Our whole family orders from here for big family nights - we love it!

This place is not halal. Just want to make that 100% clear. They've labelled 'halal' on Just Eat app. Food came, we ate it all. It was only until my brothers friend told us it wasn't halal that we phoned to double check. Apparently, some things are halal while others are not. SHOULD MAKE THAT CLEAR ON JUST EAT. WHOLE CONCEPT OF THE APP IS FOR EASY ORDERING WITHOUT NEEDING TO PHONE??!!

Good Points: Delivery was quick, food was hot, fried rice was tasty. Bad Points: Massive hair in my food and the meal is beef with seasonal green veg (there was two peas- no other green veg).

Been our favourite takeaway for the past few years but service has gone really poor. Past 3 meals ordered have been wrong orders or items missing and also 1hr plus for delivery. Needless to say we will be going elsewhere from now on. Very disappointing!

Ordered from here instead of usual place, was pleasantly surprised cheaper than other place, food was excellent. Chicken Satay was much nicer than normal place, it didn't seem as spicey which is great as I'm not a spice lover. Kids enjoyed there curry and boiled rice, and hubby enjoyed his sweet and sour chicken. would definitely order from here again.

We ordered our food at 6pm and took over 2 hours to be delivered! I phoned them up three times as I kept having to chase them to track where our food was to eventually find out 2 hours later that they hadn't even started cooking our food. We got no apology and no discount despite the terrible service. Then to top it off the crispy beef container was only half full! I would not recommend this place.

Have ordered here a few times & it is usually good quality. However, they were nearly an hour late with our order and it wasn't very hot when it arrived so needed to be reheated. Also we asked for no vegetables in the curry but they got this wrong.... I don't think we will order from here again.

Pedimos desde Casa Feliz el otro día y nos quedamos muy decepcionados.En primer lugar, el plazo de entrega fue ridículo. La entrega fue 45 minutos tarde y no actualizar nosotros respecto de este. Debido a esto, uno de nuestro grupo necesitaba salir sin la comida que había pedido.Cuando la entrega llegamos, uno de nuestros productos era totalmente diferente a lo que había pedido, así que llamé directamente al restaurante. Me dijo la señorita que me contestó que "se les había acabado de lo que pedimos, ya que están ocupados", el restaurante no nos informe de ello.Debido a esto, el restaurante ofrece un reembolso del 50% lo cual aceptamos. Avance rápido hasta hoy no había recibido reembolso - me puse el restaurante de este me dijeron que no tienen las instalaciones de la restitución y que no lo hicieron porque estaban ocupados.Hemos sido completamente engañado por Happy House y no se usan de nuevo. Yo aconsejaría a todo el mundo que se alejase.

Lovely food, best crispy chili beef ever. Came in a very good time ( just over half and hour) piping hot and massive portions. Would highly recommend.

All the food tasted nice except that we received popadoms instead of prawn crackers when you spend over £10 and we had Chinese not Indian. Also takeaway arrived 15 minutes later than scheduled time.

Chicken chow mein didnt get delivered with my order i had to wait an additional 30 minuted for it to be redelivered

Forgot the curry sauce but great apart from that. Crispy beef isn't spicy at all so you might want to request more chilli if you like it hot! Chicken curry was delicious !

Food arrived an hour late by a man who looked like he'd spent all night apologising to people as annoyed and frustrated as I was. By the time we actually ate the food was lukewarm. Never again, which is a shame because the food was actually good.

Food quality ok, Not a Great deal of meat in my pork chow Mein but no major complaints. Delivery late although notified it was later than the extended time. Got free bottle of coke as a result. Overall ok just 45 minutes later than original delivery very time.

Beef a bit chewy but generally ok. Food combinations a bit odd.

Never have anything negative to say about Happy House as it's always flawless, however on this occassion 3 items were incorrect & the soup was missing! Didn't complain as the food was still delicious as always! Must have been a busy day in the kitchen!

I thought my meal would have come with rice, I didn't know you had to order it as well, other than that it was lovely.

Everything was great, duck was a little crispy for me but that's just a preference thing, will definitely order again. would recommend the singapore fried rice.

Wrong order given initially and then still had to wait half an hour for my new item to come and try and keep my other food warm (I don't have a microwave!). They were apologetic and did let me keep the wrong item, but when the prawn curry arrived it was watery and disappointing so not worth the wait!
