Happy House in Leeds

£11 for 6 king prawns I ordered 2 of there an they just maxed it out with pineapple and carrot. Delivery driver wouldn’t get out the car to deliver my food to my door.

First time ordering from here. Honestly it was really good; been searching for a decent Chinese since Sakura closed and Happy House was decent. Will definitely order from here again I imagine.

It took 1hr 30 mins to arrive when I literally live less than a 5 minute walk down the street. Had they bothered to contact me to say they were having delivery problems I could have walked up to collect it. Also says that if I order before 8pm I get salt and pepper chips free with my order, I ordered at 7:50pm and didn’t receive them with my order. It was my 1st time ordering from here and probably won’t order from here again.

Dried, cold, and greasy. Clesrly not fresh and tasted reheated. It tasted stale. Sorry guys, I won't be coming back.

Poor quality food. Packed with so much msg it made our head hurt. Served in polystyrene boxes and very expensive!

I ordered this on reviews however very disappointed as food tasted poor and felt like reheated food rather than fresh. I have no doubt the food must of been freshly cooked but that being said the texture was again poor.

I went to this take away due to customer rating; but was dissapointed with the quality of food bot tastewise and quantity wise. In king prawn hot and garlic dish there were only 6 prawns and rest of the large container ws filled with bamboo shoots, chestnuts, onions and carrots. And they charged £8 for it. The egg fried rice was dry and the rice used looked the cheap type. Not sure how it is getting such high rating.

Absolutely can not fault anything

Just tasted a bit bland and not very fresh or crunchy . General tap chicken wasn't crisp and crunchy and lacked flavour. Noodles are those medium noodles when I prefer the thin ones and the broccoli seemed very over done.

Food was very greasy Orderd a meat spring roll was full of bean sprouts and soggy was under cooked no meat

Ribs not tender, arrived 15mins before collection and food was flat cold. Quality very little as barely any of each item. Duck was in a block not shredded.

Tasteless food, swimming in a watery base.Absolutely disgusting. Contacted the restaurant via just eat and they told me to contact just eat. They gave me two false numbers for just eat. After 90 minutes they offered to send the food again but with another delivery charge.

Not our local Chinese takeaway but fancied ordering from somewhere new and the reviews were good. The gyoza were good, the ribs were okay and the Singapore chow mein was one of the poorer ones I've had. Not terrible but not somewhere I'll rush to try again.

The chips and wontons were cold and soft, the bags just fell apart. The steak was pretty much cold. The ribs were same. Ordered at 6-36 wasn’t delivered until 8-12 nearly 20 minutes after I rang to find out where our food was.

Ordered from here for years. Always well prepared, tasty food. They deliver on time & take note of any posted notes. Would recommend.

There was something in the meals. What you put in there we don’t know. !After only few bites of food it made our stomach feel unwell, full and very uncomfortable! Definitely something wrong this time, not as before.

Lovely hot food delivered quickly by a lovely friendly chap! We actually use a different takeaway usually but they were closed so we tried Happy House. Glad we did! It's become a new favourite.

Food was alright - not much flavour. Salt and pepper box wasn’t spicy, didn’t have any chillies and wasn’t great. Spring rolls are absolutely huge. Had the general tso chicken which was quite nice. Wouldn’t go back

Food never turned up. They were adamant I received the food, when I explained I had CCTV and they were more than happy to see the footage they didn't know what to say. They've obviously delivered it to the wrong address.

The salt and pepperbox looked awful, looked like food scraped into a box to throw away, there were more soggy chips than anything else. The chicken fried rice was OK as was the veg chow mein noodles. I have ordered from them before and found the food great, but never again.

Firstly, we ordered the food on just eat, expecting to wait 40 to 45 minutes until delivery. After paying for our order, the estimated time of arrival was actually one hour later. It got to that time and we hadn’t had notification that the food was out for delivery, so I called the restaurant to discover there would be another 30 minutes before somebody could deliver it. We opted to go and pick it up instead, and if anyone from the restaurant is reading this, I’d like my delivery charge back please. The food was generally disappointing. Starters were greasy. The Chinese curry was tasteless. We’ve had problems with delivery from this place before but had forgotten until today. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Everything went in the bin apart from the Crispy duck which was good and the lamb with pancakes which was edible. Sweet and sour was coated in a thick, horrible powdery substance. Mixed vegetables had nothing green in at all, just a terrible gelatinous slime of chop suey base - onions, carrots, bamboo shoots… This take away used to be really good but now - avoid completely.

Tasted like it was cooked in old cooking oil. Went in the bin £40 worth

Regular customer to Happy House. Usual order would be Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup Won Tons Crispy beef with friend rice Always delicious, warm and quick. Never greasy, and lovely staff. Would recommend

Clean taste but not super flavoursome. Beware the spring rolls which are the size of pasties and 95% filling.

Food is great but this is the second time that the delivery has been VERY late. Waited nearly 2 hrs for food to arrive this time.

Almost 2 hours later and still waiting for our food. This happened last time we ordered but we thought it was a one off. Will not be ordering again.
