Happy Chef in Slough

Used to live in Anslow Place many years ago. Always enjoyed the food. I am more local to other Chinese Take Aways now but still order home delivery from Happy Chef. I find the Telephone staff very helpful and know their menu. The delivery drivers are very friendly too. Yet to find fault with the food. Always hot, tasty and portions more than ample. Thank you all at Happy Chef for continuing a great service in these awful times.

I think this is just the most fantastic food I have ever had delivered. Great service great choices and I cannot believe how hot the food was when it came and on time - very very impressed and can't wait to order from The Happy Chef again - thank you!

We ordered from Happy Chef last night. We order almost once a week and have done for years. We’ve tried other Chinese takeaways and none have ever matched Happy Chef on the food and the warmth and friendliness of the staff and owner. The food has always been tasty and decent size portions. Sometimes we collect but mostly we get delivery. The food always arrives hot and promptly, which is amazing compared to other delivery services and restaurants we order from. I’m only leaving a review now after many years as I’ve suddenly looked back and realised how consistent they’ve been. We order in from many places but only Happy Chef has a 100% satisfaction rate with us. Definitely give these people a try. You will enjoy it.

Nineteen years and still my favourite takeaway/delivery Chinese food establishment. Staff are always very friendly. Food is excellent and are the prices.

Good food. Switched to this one on a recommendation after noticing stomach ache after another local Chinese. Great food, great portion sizes and no stomach ache.

Would not go anywhere else, staff are very friendly and if they are closed we do without, (until the next day so it tastes even better) have tried others but are always disappointed. Really like the manager, always makes me feel like I am his best customer

I have been a customer for over ten years now and there is always something for everyone through their menu!!! I even got friends in Windsor driving all the way over for a collection!!! Pad Thai Noodlles is a must try!!! Highly recommended!!!

We regularly have one of the tasty take-aways from the Happy Chef. Their food is always well cooked, tasty and served by very friendly staff; I particularly recommend the duck with beansprouts. I have friends who have moved all the way to Newcastle and still miss this take away,

I'd wanted to order from this place for some time as I saw they had roast duck with rice. The duck was overcooked and the sauce, supposedly barbecue, was a neon orange. It looked like sweet and sour but didn't taste like, neither did it taste of barbecue.I had only ordered three items. The spring rolls I ordered were soggy were the liquid was making the pastry wet.Most disappointing was I ordered the Singapore rice noodles but was sent 'Singapore' fried rice. I did phone to 'complain' but just didn't have the heart for it. I told them I wanted to make them aware of the issue. I didn't remind them it was my first time ever ordering from them and was not offered a refund, or exchange (which I would have declined). I doubt I will be ordering from them again.

I have used this take away for years.. Excellent service and food every time. We have never had any problems. Staff always honest about delivery even when very busy.

I've been a Happy Chef customer now for 16 years. This is by far my favourite Chinese takeaway/delivery place. Food and service have always been spot on. My particular favourite dish is fresh garlic chow mein which I've not seen anywhere else.

I've ordered from these guys for years but tonight received the worst customer service!
