Well I cannot recommend this place more then saying its the hands down best burger in town, price is fair and portion size is huge.Quite honestly considering it was first day been open to the public it was like these guys have never actually stopped service was fantastic, food amazing just really good all round will be back.

Poor burger, made incorrectly the first time. Took so long to get me the correct burger and in all truth I've had better burgers from my local takeaway (which cost considerably less). I would love to recommend this place but me and my friends where put in a corner and treated like we shouldn't be there and charged extortionate money for lackluster food. Plus you don't get fries with your burger which is poor then you are charged £3+ for a small cold portion.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF AT MCDONALDS!

So glad handmade burger is back!! So nice to see the place open and it didn't disappoint, the food and service was amazing. Sally was fantastic really made us feel really welcome, we both had the Mexican burger and it was delicious!Can't wait to come back soon.

We was really disappointed with the quality of the burgers this weekend. Having ordered two chicken burgers, one from the main menu and one from the children's, both tasted dreadful as they were charred. The children's burger was larger and came served with chips and was £6.99 as opposed to £8.99 from the main menu. When I raised this with a member of staff, I was told it depends on the size of the chicken! most unhelpful.

Not a big burger eater, but this one was about average (they say fresh today??? hmmmm). Ok but McD is OK also.

Went for the first time on the weekend and felt so underwhelmed.My burger (whatever the blue cheese option is) was so overcooked and dry, it was almost inedible.My girlfriend also had an extremely dry burger, but somehow her breadcake was soggy.I have had better burgers from Wetherspoon's.The service was OK and the staff were polite enough, but when asked how the food was and I told the waitress it was dry and hard to eat, all she had to say was "Sorry to hear that".At just over £30 for 2 burgers, a glass of pop, bottle of water and an espresso I feel extremely ripped off.

Every single time my partner and I come to Meadowhall, we go to Handmade Burger. I've used countless of loyalty cards there and could point out some of the less rotated staff if I saw them outside of work.I recently had a baby and we took the plunge to go to Meadowhall and thought that Handmade Burger would be some form of familiarity to us and would ease our anxiety. However, when we got there it was fairly busy. The waiter, bless him found us somewhere to sit outside as we had a pram with us and took up a bit of room. There was hardly anybody near us, so that was helpful.We ordered our usual. I had a small beef cheese classic with no relish or mayo and my partner had the BBQ beef, cheese and bacon with an extra patty.When it arrived, which was rather quick to say how busy it was - I had to say something because my "small" beef patty was virtually non-existent. My partner swapped my small one for his extra one and the waitress who I told said she would speak to her manager about taking the extra patty off the bill. The next time we saw her was when she and a few other members of staff came and sat a few tables down from us on their lunch break.The burger (baring in mind I have that same burger every time I go, and I'm a loyal customer) was bland as anything. It was watery like they hadn't let it sit before serving it. There was hardly any cheese or red onion and it was just disgusting in all honesty. The worst burger I have had in my life. My partner really didn't enjoy his either. When it came to pay, we had a different member of staff of course who was oblivious to any of our issues and concerns. He informed us that because we had eaten the burgers, they couldn't take any money off of our bill, which is a complete contradiction to what the waitress had told us prior to going on her break.The member of staff eventually managed to get us an even bigger discount that what it would have been if they had just deducted the extra patty. Never mind.But regardless, it was quite disappointing and really put a downer on our day. It's like "our" place. So, it's sad really.

I would love to say what the food was like but unfortunately we booked a table for 6pm Christmas eve, got there at 5.40 only to find they had closed.To say I'm a little bit pixxed off is a understatement.What is the point of taking a contact number if you don't use it.I've travelled for Chesterfield to Meadowhall for nothing.Totally disgraceful.

Fast service, didn’t feel rushed, decent grub, was served by a very friendly waitress called Gracie, I hope she has a nice Christmas

We arrive just before 12 noon and the restaurant was quiet. Soon more people arrived and we noticed that other tables were having orders taken and getting food even though we were there before them. I had to find a waitress to take my order. The food arrived promptly, we asked for ketchup and a drink refill. Both took too long to arrive, food was half eaten before either arrived. Not once were we asked if our food was ok. Which luckily it was! After finishing our food no one had approached us to ask if there was anything else we required. In the end I went up to the till to ask for the bill. I explained that I was unhappy, not with the food but the service. The excuse was that the waitress was new, it was her first day! That waitress had never approached us since sitting us at a table. After some discussion I was given a discount. But this was my sons birthday... not good I’m afraid .....

Located in the better section of The Oasis within Meadowhall you will find this bustling restaurant.Greeted with a smile, you are seated immediately, with the menu following on within seconds.The menu is varied with many options available.I went for the burger, but didn’t want the bun. What pleasantly surprised me was the fact I could trade my bread bun for a green salad or coleslaw!It was also nice to have the refillable soft drinks......ideal if you are taking the kids!Ok, now price, it’s not cheap considering what you get on your plate, however it was tasty and well cooked.If you’re not keen on eating downstairs in The Oasis jungle, stay upstairs and give this place a go!

My husband was diagnosed with coleiacs disease and eating out is now more stressful, trying to find restaurants who can meet his needs( this is a health need not a life style choice).

Wow, first time in one of these restaurants and totally impressed. The burgers are delicious and filled me right up. Rebecca who looked after us did an amazing job, made us feel like Royalty. Thanks to Rebecca.

Really pleased with the burgers from here. There were 5 of us meeting for a catch up and we were so pleased with the excellent customer service from our waitress Rebecca.

Visited here last Saturday with my family after a long day of shopping. Was greeted by lovely waitress Josie who was our server. She was very helpful and attentive, considering it was our first time ever eating here. I had the juicy Lucy burger, which was delicious. The burger was tender and tasty. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in Meadowhall.

Had a lovely meal! Great burger and tasty sides. Bit expensive but worth the money. Definitely worth getting the 3 for £10 on sides. We were served by a lovely lady called Grace. She looked after us well and was very attentive. would definitely eat there again. :)

Nipped in here for the first time, and wasn’t disappointed! Burgers were amazing, especially the avocado with chicken or beef, and rosemary chips Could totally tell Cooked to order- fresh and delicious. Served by Josh who was amazing, excellent knowledge of the menu, quick service, very attentive and nothing was too much bother. Would definitely call again and highly recommend

After a good three hours shopping, me and my two friends had worked up an appetite and choosing the Handmade Buuger Co located in Sheffield’s Meadow Hall Shopping Centre was the right decision. Even though they were busy with customers, we were seated and orders taken swiftly. I had the Blue Cheese and Bacon Burger with chicken wings side. The blue cheese dip was heavenly, as was the burger itself. My friends had side dishes of fries and sweet potato chips with their burgers which were served hot and were also delicious.

Yo y mi hijo de 11 años nos detuvimos para un almuerzo rápido. Después de una espera bastante larga para sentarnos a pesar de que el restaurante estaba un cuarto lleno, nos sentamos. Había un montón de personal, pero ninguno parecía conocer su trabajo.

Esta es la tercera hamburguesa hecha a mano en la que he estado y, en general, es una opción bastante decente si solo estás buscando un lugar confiable para comprar comida. Buenas opciones veganas como siempre, sabrosas papas fritas bien hechas y deliciosos batidos. Lo único un poco decepcionante fue que en otras ramas de esta cadena a la que he ido, el batido ha venido en una gran copa de metal, presumiblemente solo en el recipiente donde hacen el batido, y en esta rama solo vino en una taza de plástico, lo que me puso un poco triste Sin embargo, el batido todavía estaba muy sabroso. Las hamburguesas no son alucinantes ni nada, pero disfrutan lo suficiente.

Went back to burger co for second time and was very impressed today. Burger was gorgeous very tasty but quite expensive with the added on prices for the side dishes. The place was very busy but had excellent service provided by waitress Josie, she was very attentive and was like a little busy fairy running around sorting everything out.

We took our Granddaughter Isabelle and her friend Molly to Meadwhall today 1st Nov, when we arrived the girls went their way, and we went ours. We Eventually met up for dinner, anybody who was their looking for somewhere to eat will have had the same problem as we did, no seats everywhere full. Their was room at the Handmade Burger Co, should we have been worried about that statistic !. We were taken to our table, and given the menus. It might be my age but £8.35 for a chicken burger and no chips, really !, I am not a big burger fan but when you order a burger chips normally follow. They did follow at a cost of £3.45 for a small bowl. After we finished our meal Rebecca our waitress asked us if we had enjoyed the meal. I had to tell her I was shocked about the price of the chips, and that they didnt come as part of the meal, my wife complained about her chicken burger, that being the chicken strip was over cooked, and the sweet relish took the taste away from everything else. My Burger clearly was better than your standard burger.

Recently visited before going to the cinema. We were seated straight away and our order was taken quickly. Very friendly staff and nice food.

We haven't been to one of these establishments in a While but when we did some shopping at meadowhall we thought we'd give it a try and it's definitely got worse. The offer they have is a lunch time offer for £7.95 which is burger side and drink before 5pm we arrived at 4pm and didn't get this menu offered to us we had to ask which is not good enough. I doubled up my burger and I'm glad I did because the patty's are paper thin very very disappointed. I won't be visiting again unless they give more generous burgers for the prices they charge.

Después de 15 minutos y toda mi fiesta saludando salvajemente, finalmente conseguimos que alguien tomara nuestro pedido. Lo más molesto que una chica rubia con una camiseta roja estaba sirviendo eficientemente en un área adyacente y le llamé la atención e hice un gesto 4 o 5 veces, pero ella nos ignoró ya que estábamos en un área de servicio diferente y ausente. Y ella no hizo nada para buscar a su colega. Cuando la adolescente morena que nos atendió llegó, fue muy amable. Sin embargo, no fue una sola vez, otras dos partes se sentaron en su área de servicio y cada una de ellas finalmente perdió la paciencia y gritó o, en un caso, se acercó al área de comida antes de que ella apareciera nuevamente para tomar su orden.

Debo decir que la comida es excelente, especialmente las patatas fritas de Denver, pero el servicio es pésimo. Comenzando con el joven muchacho que me saludó como si fuera una distracción de él, ordenó los cubiertos mientras continuamente pasaba sus dedos por el cabello hacia la señora que entregó mi comida, bueno, fue más bien un caso de tirarlo sobre la mesa y causar mi hamburguesa desmoronarse

I use to love this place, honestly use to be my favourite place to get a burger and believe me I have had alot lol. We haven't been for ages due to living further away now unfortunately so was really looking forward to coming here again.

Nobody to seat us so made our own way in. Nobody came for a while then we get a lecture on waiting to be seated.

Muy buenas hamburguesas: cada uno de nosotros tiene una hamburguesa diferente: 1 pollo 1 carne de res y una verdura. Las órdenes secundarias también son buenas.

We were a table of six, two meat eaters, two vegan and two vegetarians.

Ordered the bbq cheese and bacon beef burger and it was one of the nicest burgers I’ve ever had! We were not waiting long for our food to be delivered either. Reasonable prices for the good quality of the fresh handmade burgers, just a shame that you have to order your chips separately with every burger. Will definitely be coming again as it is lovely food and not too expensive (can also get 20% off for those who work for NHS or military)

every time we go there we are spoilt for choice so get different burgers and share. sooooo tasty, sooooo good. highly recommended.

Couldn't fault the food at all. We were served by 'Sophie P' who deserves a raise. She didn't put a foot wrong. Lovely meal.

The restaurant needs to take down the sign saying "Washed, peeled and cut by hand". The chips are NOT peeled, they come with skins on (which is OK if that's what you are expecting). My original batch of chips were tiny little offcuts of potato (like the bits you get left with when they've been through a chipper) that were almost black & looked and tasted as though they had been re-fried several times. I was given a fresh batch but they weren't much better. The suppliers must be sending HMBC small new potatoes instead of proper chipping potatoes. And I suggested to the server that the oil or fat that they had been cooked in was burnt and in need of changing. She didn't comment. I've always enjoyed HMBC but I am now loathe to go there again.

Stopped off during a long trip home after a short holiday, we wanted something quick but tasty. Decided to try this place as it looked inviting.

Shocking. To be greeting at the door by, "Eeerrrr do you want to sit inside", like we didnt even have a choice was not a good start. Came over to take our order, ask politely for the burger of my choice to then be replied with "give me a second" is very unprofessional. Looking at the tablet, which was smashed, I'm surprised she even knew what button she was pressing! A mistake was made with the drink where the waitress "misunderstood" our request, instead of swopping the bottle of larger for the one originally asked for (both the same price) we had to cope with her mistake.After asking for a burger with a straight swap of item to be told I had to pay an extra £1.60 was also disappointing. I asked for this on a previous visit and they were more than happy to meet the customers wish. Obviously 'annoying' the staff, our meals were not checked back on. Plates were cleared with no communication. Asked for the bill with meerkat discount and after 20 minutes of watching the woman we asked do other things including sitting down and drinking a pint of coke at the laptop, we got up and asked for the bill elsewhere. Surprise surprise, the discount wasnt added. 20 minutes after originally asking we paid and went on our way. Will definitely not be returning due to the uneducated waiting staff and lack of compassion portrayed by the staff members.

Usually visit here whenever in Meadowhall. Won’t be visiting again. The warning signs should have been headed when a couple of ladies on the table next to us were complaining regarding their food when we were seated, but optimistic as we were thought this probably a one off, it wasn’t. First of all there’s the atmosphere, like most restaurants there’s the music on in the restaurant which is normally low and quite pleasant, however this music obviously isn’t to the taste of the back of house and kitchen staff who seem to like Ibiza rave music on at double the volume of the music in the restaurant. Not content with this booming out the also feel the need to throw in a few Oi Oi Oi’s every now and again. If you are unlucky enough to be seated anywhere from halfway into the restaurant towards the kitchen you will get the bad mix of ambient music and happy hardcore from the kitchen. The manager sits doing her paperwork at the table nearest to the bar with files and paperwork spread everywhere - very professional - but also content with the tunes blasting out it seems. When asked if we can listen to just one set of music preferably the ambient type (which I presume is a corporate choice and played throughout their chain of restaurants) she sauntered over and asked the kitchen staff to ‘turn the music down a bit ‘cos they’re moaning about it’ this reinforced my first impression of how professional this place was. Now onto the food. The burgers were served and the brioche bun was soggy when picked up where all the grease from the meat had soaked straight into it, we mentioned this to the waiter and the buns were changed for fresh ones. Then the chips arrived, freshly cremated it seemed, this was also mentioned to the waiter and he said he’ll ‘see what he could do’, we didn’t see him again. After we had eaten the edible items on the plate we spoke to the manager, based on my previous impression I didn’t hold much hope and this was confirmed minutes later. We told her of the issues we had had, and she said the waiter had offered to get us fresh chips and we had declined. We explained that we hadn’t seen him since we made him aware of the issues, he certainly didn’t offer to replace the chips and if he had we certainly wouldn’t have declined, hence why the cremated black shapes were still filling our plates when we had finished our meal. The response was ‘well I’m not really sure what you want me to do’. Your job would be a start I thought but replied politely with refund the items that weren’t fit for consumption (a given in any restaurant for this type of situation), I’ll see what I can do was the reply. We did have these items removed from the bill but the whole episode of visiting this place made the visit unpleasant and I won’t be returning any time soon.

From a great start this place has really hit rock bottom....used to be first choice after a visit to the Vue cinema but won't be going again for some time. Hopefully things will improve...."will maybe try again some time in the future" such a shame

Just visited this rainy Saturday. Had to wait about 15 mins to be served. Then two burgers and chips had to wait for about 40mins. My husband found something similar to dental floss on his plate. Meat was to cold in both burgers. Homemade chips to dry..Price is to high for this quality.

Waited outside in the queue for ten mins. Lots of spare tables where we could have been seated and had drinks ordered. Got to the front of the queue to be told there will be a half hour wait on food.

Great for a quick dinner. Thought the fries were better than the burger. Service was friendly and quick.

This is what one comes to expect, fast food in a Shopping mall dominated by large chains serving what I'm tempeted to label as machine made food. I'm sure the smaller real quality establishments are priced out by the rents. However, accepting it's all that was going to be available we found it wasn't as bad as often portrayed by reviewers, prior. The burgers were a match for what you'd make at home i.e. coarse cut meat and tasty too. Fair portions of lettuce, onions etc. and by and large not so bad for the price. Certainly better quality than what one gets from one international chain I can think of. I do agree that the side orders and drinks do become pricey when added up but where doesn't these days?

Our first visit and definitely the last. Ordered salad with halloumi, arrives no halloumi. The plate was the taken by another staff member before I could speak without any apology. My partner ordered burger with chips but the chips were scrap ends and had to ask for a second dish. This came exactly the same, again no apology. Bill arrived and were charged for these.

Both myself and my son visited the Meadowhall restaurant after work, with being the end of the month and money being tight I used the meerkat promotion, we ordered two burgers and a portion of fries, unfortunately there were no sauces on the table and my son wanted a sauce for the fries, I asked what sauces are available, I was shown both ketchup, mayonnaise and was told there had barbecue too, I asked for barbecue, this was brought to our Table, at no point t were we told there was a charge for a portion of sauce, upon recovering the bill, the restaurant have the nerve to charge 80p for a sauce.

Called in on spec after late shopping on a Saturday. Greeting from staff member Jai was good and we were given a choice of seat inside or out (in the foodhall). Opt for 'in' as it much quieter.

Ordered the American burger which comes with onion rings and asked for no gherkins. Got no onion rings and a gherkin on top. By the time I realised I was meant to have onion rings as I couldn’t check as they take the menus away, I’d eaten three quarters of it. Decor isn’t very inviting and the music isn’t very loud which is good to talk but the music played is like being in a bar or nightclub. Need new menu’s too as they are held together with sellotape and have food all down them. Refillable soft drinks is good though.

Usually quite nice but today has been a letdown. First, wouldn't swap mushroom for jalapenos on a vegetarian burger despite the two items being the same price. So we paid an extra 95p which seems like a silly thing to get annoyed over but the whole thing seemed ridiculous and it was explained to us that they couldn't swap it rather bluntly. Now I work in hospitality and both the people I was with have previously. None of us had ever worked in a place where you couldn't swap things not to mention we've swapped things at this establishment before. So that was a lie. Our drinks come, we sit and chat. One of us has ordered a refillable Coke zero and asked for a refill, when it came it was clearly not the Coke zero he asked for and tasted instead like full fat/sugar coke. For us this was annoying but for another person with dietary requirements such as someone with diabetes this could be a major issue so I would like to highlight it for training purposes. Our food arrives and seems perfectly fine until we look a bit closer and the peppers weren't chargrilled but rather burnt to a crisp. Didn't send it back because we were starving and didn't want to wait as we had somewhere to be afterwards. Mentioned this to the same server and continued eating. Overall a bit of a letdown and we hope that these things are taken onboard

Been here before and really enjoyed but this time we were really disappointed, over cooked , small dry burger, missing the pickle ( did bring separately when they did a check back ) pleasant and friendly server, did get the drinks wrong but that was sorted, don’t think we’ll go again, urban burger at parkgate beats the handmade burger company by miles for the food

Sunday evening, 3 couples when we got there and 4 staff. Had to ask to have order taken. Burger and mushroom overcooked, onion rings onto of burger cold. Shame when you are a burger specialist that you can't cook burgers.

Called in yesterday for a burger as it was recommended. To be honest even though the burger was nice u thought it was very overpriced. The portion sizes are tiny but tasty. After we had finished i felt rushed as the bill was presented to us straight away before we'd even finished our drinks. Felt like you've ate now shove off!!!

The burger was burnt hard and tasteless. Peri peri chips were just plain chips with lots of spicy dust. ... Terrible !

We came here after wandering around and finally came to a conclusion to eat here. We had two Dirty burgers which were exceptionally good. Our server made us feel welcomed and made sure we were alright during our visit. The drinks were very cheap. The atmosphere was nice and music choice was upbeat and pleasant. We will be returning thank you.

Chipped glass and cold onion rings

Was reluctant to visit here, we had been given a voucher, but had read reviews that put my husband and I off, but we decided to go with our voucher in hand and see how it went, had read food was ok but staff were rude and unfriendly. We had a young lad who’s name was josh who served us and took our order and checked to make sure all was ok, so thank you josh, your customer service was excellent and the food was amazing, had nothing to complain about at all, was very busy and still we were served quickly and food was hot and will definitely go back.

We don't often write reviews but felt we needed to after todays visit. Having visited several HBC (including this one) we were looking forward to a treat whilst out on a family shopping trip. We were sadly disappointed. Firstly our burgers were second rate, rubbery, overcooked and bland, not at all what you expect from a specialist burger restaurant. Secondly the fresh cut chips which are usually delicious and worth paying the extra for were limp, undercooked and soggy. Thirdly the service was terrible, there were plenty of staff for a half full (at the most) restaurant but we were largely ignored during our visit, nobody asked if our food was ok, we struggled to get a refill on our drinks (my husband got one, I was not so lucky). Upon clearing the table the girl (who was possibly the manager or supervisor due to lack of uniform) told my husband to "pass her the empty bowl" without a please or thank you. At this point we requested the bill which we then had to wait over 15 minutes for. If staff had been a little more responsive we would have sent our food back but it felt too much like hard work in trying to. After looking at other recent reviews it appears that something is not working at the restaurant and needs addressing. Sadly it is doubtful that we will return to this restaurant when others in the vicinity are serving far better burgers with far better service.

Ordered two beef burgers, both were overcooked and dry. I got the impression the burgers had been cooked a while and kept warm until required. Bun was a bit stale as well (no excuse for that). Had to send them back and try chicken ones instead.

This was our first visit and most probably our last. It only does burgers, so these should always be outstanding. Our burgers had a hard exterior, that was uncomfortable to chew and digest. The hard, burnt like coating ranged from slightly on mine to lots on our son’s. He picked it off and left it. The toppings were tasty and plentiful but the actual burgers were small, lacking in taste and should have been succulent. The service was good and efficient. We used our 2 for 1 Meerkat Meals, without this it would not have been worth the price. Chips are rustic, served hot and crispy- very nice as were the bbq wings. Good value on the drinks refills.

Regular visitor to this restaurant (following a visit to the cinema). Have usually surpassed expectations but not this time. Wouldn't say my burger was small but when waitress asked how I found it I replied "I lifted up the soggy piece of lettuce and there it was". In addition it was merely luke warm and suspect that it had been left standing somewhere because it took ages to come although the restaurant wasn't busy. No attempt was made to resolve the situation. Definitely not up to usual standard but hopefully this was just a one off so will call again....watch this space.

Every time I've visited Sheffield out of all the restaurants around this joint, i always come here.. why because i know the burgers are just the best.

Brilliant price on Living Social, saving us ££'s. Shame you are unable to get sides with the offer. Drinks reasonably priced. Brill customer service.

By far not the best burger we have had but top end on price then they hit you with the extras small bowl of chips for £3.25 or three sides for £10 so I suppose that makes just on portions of chips cheep they even charge 80p for sauce unless you want tomato sauce this is free and to cap it all the drinks are expensive. Not again

1st time visit to this restaurant and it will be the last. Burgers average and the buns seemed a bit stale and fell apart. Have to order sides separately at £10 for 3 which really bumps the price up. Cheesy chips were just chips with a cheese slice melted across the top. Onion rings were cooked but soggy when I expect crispy. Had to ask for mayo for the coleslaw as it was so dry. We weren't offered any sauces or mayo etc when the meals were brought out. All in all expensive low quality food will not be returning

Desde hace un tiempo, el menú es menos variado y algunos favoritos han sido retirados. Aceptamos que teníamos que comprar los lados por separado, pero cuando pagas 30 por 2 hamburguesas, incluyendo papas fritas, esperarías que fueran increíbles pero que estaban lejos de serlo. Las raciones eran pobres por el precio y las picaduras de halloumi eran pésimas. Se trajeron con 3 piezas y otra pieza que no era ni la mitad del tamaño. Cuando preguntamos si ese era un tamaño de porción normal, la camarera dijo que generalmente es 4, pero la 4ª pieza es 'un poco pequeña'. Ella nos consiguió otra porción, pero en primer lugar no debería haber sido enviada mostrando un mal control de la porción. No deberíamos tener que pedir otra porción. En general, caro para lo que tenemos. ¡Debería haber ido a Las Iguanas como lo íbamos originalmente!

Demasiado caro para lo que obtienes y porciones pequeñas. Muy mal espectáculo y volvería de nuevo. En general, una visita decepcionante

Came here for lunch with my mum while shopping. We both ordered burgers and a side of sweet potato fries and we both really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be returning in the future. (Ps the staff were all really pleasant!)

Bastante caro para lo que obtienes! El precio solo incluye la hamburguesa, así que tuve que pedir papas fritas, etc. en la oferta de 3 por 10. No hay descuento para niños. Pedimos bebidas ilimitadas que finalmente llegaron después de la comida! Hubiera sido bueno si el personal fuera un poco más amable y servicial. Lamentablemente no volveré de nuevo.

Valor fabuloso. Aproveché mi descuento de NHS y duplicé la oferta de hamburguesas y obtuve 3 lados por 10, además de refrescos, y pagué algo cerca de 30. Rosemary salted chips eran para morirse. Peri peri chips estaban bien. La ensalada era encantadora y disfrutamos de la hamburguesa vegana de inspiración mexicana y la hamburguesa de pila de hongos. El mexicano era bueno. La pila de hongos no era tan buena como no tenía mucha "seta" jajaja. Necesitas una hamburguesa a base de soja. Sería YUM. El servicio también era bueno.

Came here with my mum and my 2 year old son. My first thoughts were the menu looked good and I soon decided to go for the pulled pork option. When I noticed you only get the burger and if you want any sides including chips, you have to pay about £4 extra. This made me disappointed as my burger was already £10, so it made it quite expensive. When it came there was hardly any pork on the burger and the BBQ sauce had a weird taste to it (I love BBQ sauce and this was not the best). The cheesy chips I got we're nothing special, a bit like oven chips with a bit of cheese on top. We wanted some more drinks and struggled to get anybody's attention, the waitresses were just chatting. I left feeling really disappointed and like we'd been ripped off. It definitely wasn't value for money.

We’d been to the shops and stopped in for tea before driving home. Friendly staff, colouring in for our 7 year old, wide range of burgers to choose from.

The food here is amazing it was our first visit and we will be returning. The young waitor was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions.

There was a bit of confusion when my partner and I arrived as we had two loyalty cards, an old one and a new one and we just wanted two of the stamps from the old one onto the new one so we could claim our free drink, side and burger. After a bit of a mix up, Josh (our waiter) managed to sort it thankfully.

Came with my mum on the 6th March, just dropped in during a shopping trip and never been before. Had such a nice experience, really casual and relaxed. Both of our burgers were delicious and the hostess who seated and served us was lovely :) had a really great time and already planning to come back

If I could 0 starts I would have, my mum and I decided to have lunch here today and it was the worst decision we could have made. The place is run my the most miserable looking staff. After been seated the duty manager came and took our drinks order, 10 minutes later she returned and served us flat drinks in dirty glasses. There was only one other table in the restaurant who had already eaten. We then placed our food order, a classic burger and a double cheeseburger and 2 sides of chips. The "chef" if you would even give him the title was sat with who I presume were friends or colleagues off duty, helped himself to a drink and only went into the kitchen every few minutes presumably to check on our food, returning 4-5 times shortly after to sit back down till our food was ready. When the food arrived the burgers were not only burnt the double cheeseburger came as a single. At this point the "chef" had returned to sit with his friends along with the assistant manager who also decided to join them. I tried to get her attention and luckily one of the people she was sat down with happened to notice me and tell her that "she wants something" I told the DM and she said that they would have to make another as it would be easier as they had to cook another burger I said thank you and she took my plate. At this point the "chef" clearly annoyed I had disturbed him from his social chat at WORK, shouted loud enough for me to hear at the other side of the restaurant "oh well you can go and tell her she'll be waiting at least 10 minutes" when my food arrived it was bland I couldn't enjoy it as the table they were sat on were all staring at me as if I was in the wrong? Working in this industry I am absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the staff, I'd be embarrassed to work here and serve the food they do. The duty manager although polite looked so miserable and the "chef" needs a reality check if he thinks this is how you should act at work. I have never been given such terrible service and will never return to this place again!! £30 wasted on terrible food and even worse service!

I attended here with my son prior to going to watch a rugby match. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and their service was excellent.

A family lunch time visit. 3 adults, 3 burgers, 2 fries, coleslaw and onion rings plus drinks came to £50. Food hot and tasted great and all freshly prepared. Staff polite. Will return

Visited today and to say that the staff were customer focused would be an overstatement.....a male waiter asked if he could wipe our table..was lucky if half of it was covered and it was still sticky afterward. I was served a flat Coke Zero which was replaced but non of the staff that served us smiled, gave eye contact or appeared to care about their role. I felt very disappointed and will never patronise here again, the food was nice but £30 for two burgers 1 portion of chips and two drinks is quite frankly extortionate.

Having previously been disappointed, but granddaughter's prefered option to eat. No improvement, surly staff, dry chicken, Burger was actually edible, but chips , were just that!! 4 decnt size chips and a mass of scraps of cremated potato. We will definitely not return

Waited about 20 mins for the bill. Both our waiters have gone home no one in the restaurant works here. Not coming back it’s rubbish. Food was actually quite peng though x

Went here for some lunch with my partner whilst shopping in Meadowhall and chose Handmade Burger Co because it was on meerkat 2 for 1 meals. Waited 10 minutes to be seated and there was only two other tables in. The woman who finally came to seat us was so rude to us and told us we were limited to a certain few tables to choose from and after asking to sit on the outside bit she told us we could only have the one by the entrance. Then it took 15 minutes to get a drinks order and then took 10 minutes for the bottle of water and orange juice to come! When the food came I got something completely different to what I’d ordered. I asked for a small beef burger with cheese and ended up with a plain grilled chicken burger - literally with nothing else on it. I couldn’t be bothered to send it back and wait for the actual one to be made. Eventually after we finished our meals the woman cleared our plates and said “do you want the bill” rather than asking if we wanted any desserts so we accepted the bill and left. Won’t be going back here again. Shocking service to say there was 8 customers max in the restaurant and only 2 members of staff. After looking at other reviews it’s clear that this business is not very good at customer service! Don’t go, go somewhere else, I promise you anything is better than that

Why oh why do people think so little of themselves that they flock to a gimmicky place like this?

We went to the handmade burger company in the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, what a mistake to make it was singularly the worst beef burger I have ever eaten, the whole burger was badly burnt and was like eating charcoal the cheesy chips were cold and just a soggy mess. I will never go to this brand of burger place again

Have visited here in the past(last visit over 12 months ago) and was totally disappointed with both the meal and service. My partner and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant had about 12 people in. After a very brief wait to be seated, we were given a choice of seating areas, we then waited for at least 5 minutes before a server came to take our order. We then waited for over 10 minutes before our food and drink was bought to the table. My partner ordered the American burger and I ordered the Bacon and Cheese burger, a portion of chips each and a side of onion rings.

Overpriced, burnt burgers. Few surprise costs when the bill arrives you get charged extra for things and the menu does not make this clear. May as well have gone to a nice restaurant for a proper meal. Cold and uncomfortable restaurants. Indifferent staff.

Was shopping with family on Sunday afternoon and thought we would finish our day with a burger. We have eaten here so many times now and it's definitely gone downhill. We used to get a huge bowl of chips which would serve 2 people. Not anymore I'm afraid, chips although very tasty are now half portion size for the same money. We ordered our food and waited for it to arrive. In the meantime a family sitting adjacent to our table were complaining about how burnt the burgers were, I overheard the lady ask for it to be remade and it came back to the table 15 minutes or so later, after I might add the rest of the family had finished their meals. It was then sent back again as it was still burnt. About this time our food was being served to us and from the moment it was at the table you could smell the aroma of burnt food. All 4 of our burgers tasted disgusting, one of our party managed to eat a bit but the rest of us just ate the bun and the lettuce leaf that they were served with. We didn't stay for desert in fact we left almost £65 out of pocket with rumbling stomachs. We went straight to mcdonalds on the lower mall. Save your money, give it a miss. It will be the best money you haven't spent!

We are a family of 4 visiting for the umpteenth time ordering 4 burgers. We were sat at our table eagerly awaiting our juicy lucy burgers, fresh cut chips and onion rings. The burgers arrived and immediately we could all smell a burnt aroma coming from the plates. Upon further inspection they were all very well done including the one we asked to be well done which in fact was to the point of being able to use to write with, black and burnt to a crisp. This burger was returned to be remade and the rest of us continued to eat the others which were still burnt and tasted as such. We didn't want to send the entire order back as we didn't want to make a fuss. The remade burger was placed in front of us some 10 minutes later, not burnt to a crisp but nether the less still burnt and very inedible. Apologies were made and the cost of the burger was refunded. This unfortunately isn't the first time this has happened at this handmade burger restaurant but any problem we had before was a while ago so decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately £50 lighter and still the taste of burnt burger in my mouth. We definitely won't be coming back and until they clean their griddles I would suggest that no one else bother either.

Visited here when needing some respite from sale shopping. These are classic, tasty, no fuss burgers. Quality meat, quality taste and no frills n frippery. Chips were home made and so was the coleslaw.

Went late afternoon restaurant not very busy at all. Food was ok, peri peri sauce put on one burger must have been straight out of the fridge as it was that cold it turned the burger cold. Nothing special really, would I go again ? No and this is purely down to how cold the restaurant was, had to sit in our coats and how dirty the toilets were, absolutely disgusting !
