First time trying The Keg and was so impressed! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was amazing, and the service is exceptional!! Yabee was so knowledgeable and super sweet, you can tell she really loves what she does. 10/10 recommend!

Busy bar area but the staff did a great job and the food was good.

We always order Orange Slice Martinis and delicious onion rings at Happy Hour before we head to dining room for dinner. Excellent dining menu with quality sides. Yummy bread provided without cost. Salads and soups are ala carte except for Keg Classics. Ample parking. Servers are friendly and professional.

Overdue review alert: Came for The Keg’s Thanksgiving set meal and had a very nice experience. Even though the place was packed our waiter and the wider staff did a fine job keeping things moving but not rushed. The bone-in ribeye was solid and the turkey was good too. All in all a commendable effort.

Was here for a birthday with my partner. Absolutely amazing and far superior to the joke that is STK Downtown. Spent 160 on a Tomahawk that was the most tasteless and poorly cooked meat ever. Keg knocks them out of the park. I can’t recall my servers name on Sunday but she was phenomenal and beyond knowledgeable. Definitely will be back!

I was craving a steak and haven't been for a long while. I'm seeing why restaurants are struggling. First off my waitress in lounge was really nice and is good at her job. Was 6/23/24 her name started with an A I believe. I think the bar and kitchen let her down. We started with drinks, I had a gin n tonic she asked for a mai tai. Mai tai was white and foaming when she brought it and it had some kind of gooey syrup in it, waitress was fine replacing it, I went over Mai tai recipe with her and she relayed to bar, next drink was good. Gin tasted flat, like tonic was flat or something, I just didn't say anything. Caesar was good, entrees we're not great. I had steak and crab, my steak has a semi thick char on it in spots, know that sound a knife makes cutting a burnt steak? But ironically temp was fine, ordered it medium. Crab was good, wasnt fishy, veggies were over portioned and asparagus had very little prep. I don't think ends were trimmed, and I got a lot of asparagus, imagine taking rubber band off a bunch, blanching it and putting the entire bundle on plate. Just felt wasteful, there was no way I could eat that much. Blackened chicken I thought was a weird combination of flavors, id expect some heat, it had honey on it. Was a really thin chicken breast. I could tell she didn't care for it we just we're tired and wanted to leave by this point. Just a bummer, I use to treat myself to the keg. Maybe they just had an off night. Hard to find good back of house anymore I imagine too. Consider turning down music just a tad in lounge too, it is loud.

Good quality is what I expected for a steak house, very good! Our server was also very attentive. The lobster bisque was definitely divine as well as the pistachio salmon. The prime rib was decent. Definitely will come back for a special occasion!

I Had the 18 oz prime rib with lobster tail, my wife chose the filet mignon, we were both blown away with the food and service. I highly recommend this spot for a date night Also the billy miner pie is a great choice for dessert .

Had dinner on Father's Day. Restaurant was 1/2 to 3/4 full. Service took 1 3/4 hours before we finally had our meal. Steak was delicious and outside patio was the better seating option vs inside.

Great food service at the bar is usually amazing but can have some downtime depending on the staff. They will remember your name which is pretty cool

Loved the food, loved the drinks, and had great food and drinks. The bartender did act funny when I asked him (the bartender) for a bottle of wine for myself and made a scene, so I ended up drinking and paying for 6 glasses for the sake of arguing. That's my only complaint. Mind your own if I'm not in yours. I would definitely go back despite one employees (the bartenders) awkwardness.

Currently here right now ordered a shrimp cocktail starter 20 minutes ago... the waitress took our drink order 2 sodas 10 minutes ago... nothing here yet... 25 minutes 5 tiny shrimp for $15.00 The keg burger cooked perfect! The prime Rib sandwich a great take on a French dip! Fries hot and crisp! In all 2 stars average

My steak was cooked perfectly like I asked for. The lobster was also delicious. They have some newer wines on the list that I did not see the last time we were there. Great wine list. We love having special date nights here to treat ourselves to an incredible meal. We have also come by for happy hour and the appetizers were awesome. Highly recommend The Keg 😀

Outstanding traditional lardy cake . I had completely given up ever finding a good lardy cake , despite buying from numerous 'quality' and 'traditional bakeries. Decent 7 seed bread, and hot pasyies. Lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient.

Being my first time at this restaurant the food was amazing, the service was excellent. This restaurant is on my top 10 and so far one of my very favorite restaurants. I will be returning for many special occasions. also, they run an amazing valentines special for a very good price $$

I'm not much for the dark, dim vibe, but the food and service were amazing. I had the steak, and I think it was probably the best I've ever had-- seared with a seasoned, almost crispy exterior. The only thing that didn't amaze me was the mocha ice cream pie. It looks stunning but it's actually quite dull-- just a huge slab of plain mocha ice cream on a chocolate crust with a little topping drizzled over the top. No chunks of chocolate or toffee or anything. Otherwise, everything was delicious!

Food is delicious. You will spend a little bit, but I think it is worth it.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. Got the ribeye on the bone (ribs steak).

Haven’t been in a while, forgot how great the food and service were! We were celebrating our 37th anniversary. The manager brought out 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate! Will definitely be back!

We came in on 4/28/24 sunday at 6:30 pm. They only had one rib eye steak left. My daughter order a kids sirloin steak. She ask for a medium well done steak. The steak came out super rare steak. The steak was still bloody n super red. We let the server kno. What they did was just re cook the steak n pretty burned it n hard. The steak house has down graded very bad from quality of the steak to the staff not caring. Not ever coming back.

My husband and I love this place! The food is always yummy, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Hmm where to begin? Out of rib steak, prime rib, no sauted mushroom that are included in the price of the keg originals, out of wines, undercooked steak.. thankfully we had an amazing server with a great attitude. Not the best way to celebrate one of our key family members birthdays. Running out of so many menu options is to be expected at McDonald's or maybe Chick-fil-A, but not at such a pricey steakhouse.

Sub par steak, not cooked to asking

First time here was wonderful! My wife and I ordered the scallops, lobster bisque, crab cakes, the house burger, and filet. Everything came out hot and picture worthy, and tasted delicious. Great service from the waitress and a timely visit from the manager. Couldn't have gone better. I've been to a few high-level steakhouses that cost 3x more and we enjoyed this more. Dine here with confidence.

Dinner Group Event April 4th, surprised no attention to detail. No ice in carafe, as well as, pre-poured water in drinking glasses which tasted old. Ordered NY steak Medium yet all plates were handed out randomly with no colored toothpick to indicate doneness. Generous serving portions. Exceptional bread, but not everyone was provided any prior to their meal.

Excellent service, delicious food. A little pricey, but worth it.

Went for a seminar so the menu was limited but still had great choices. We had salmon and steak. Both were excellent. Hope to get back soon!

First time visiting the Keg, definitely will not be our last. Went for our anniversary, Had a wonderful and delicious meal. Steaks cooked perfectly, servers recommended we get the Chicago char and we loved the added flavor and lusciousness it added. Appetizer and dessert recommendations were also on point. Service was excellent, overall the atmosphere was good, although the music coming from the bar got a bit loud at times.

We come here often since the food is always good, staff is super friendly and the steaks are the most consistently tasty but also cooked how you order. Would recommend trying The Keg!

Sat at the bar for Restaurant Week. Enjoyed a huge prime rib with cocktails. Service was excellent.

While I didn't go for restaurant week, it did happen to be restaurant week. The restaurant week menu looked decent but for the money I'd say this place ranks 3.75 out of 5. While the food and service were decent, I feel the prices are about 25% too high...but then again what isn't in 2024. All of the appetizers and food were delicious, but it should be closer to a $35-$40 per person instead of over $50.

I cannot emphasize enough how terrible our food was. My husband and I ordered off the restaurant week menu we both got the Cesar and he got the ribeye and I got the filet. The Cesar was disgusting, it was so overly saturated in dressing and the lettuce was completely wilted....Then both our steaks were terrible. On top of not being cooked correctly, they tasted horrific. We basically took two bites.... I am started to understand why our waiter never asked us how the food was..... insanely over priced for the poor quality of the food.

Had 6oz steak& garlic mashed potatoes with Broccoli. Everything tasted very good! Service was excellent. Each server was very attentive to whom they were speaking to at the table. Definitely a bougier place. Would not recommend taking kids w/ you. Overall wonderful experience.

Great spot. Very pleased with the food. There was as an order issue that resulted in a significant mistake on my order. They immediately sent out a manager and completely rectified the situation. Definitely worth eating here. Would recommend to anyone.

I loved this place before the renovation. We got here at 555pm thinking we could walk into the lounge area like before but now they make the host seat you. Server took 8min to find us and then said no we couldn't do the happy hour. I was going to get a $100 gift card along with a nice dinner but now I'm over it. I will get a gift card in Golden instead.

I believe Gabriel was our server. Food fantastic... New updated restaurant looks fantastic. Prime rib outstanding!! Also have a good option for vegetarians! Our server was absolutely super kind and recommended a bunch of ideas... Told us all there was to offer. Will definitely be going back here for dinner!!

Had a reservation at 7:30, checked in at 7:15 and was told at 7:50 after waiting with a reservation that I needed to wait an additional 30 minutes. They obviously are wildly uncoordinated… ruined my Valentine’s Day. We had to leave.

The staff here is amazing, I always eat at the bar and Chelsea is one of the best bartenders out there. She is great with all the customers and always greets us with a welcoming smile. The food is always the best in the area and the remodel is so spacious and really opened the place up.

Dined with group. Orders wrong across the board. My meal was delivered wrong. Several in the party didn’t get plates until well after everyone was done. Never even got my desert, even after asking again. Definitely would not recommend.

Service and drinks were great, but the bone-in rib steak was one of the worst cuts I’ve had in a long time. Filled with silver skin and zero marbling. Half of it went home in a literal doggie bag. I’ve purchased better quality meat from Safeway. Disappointed. This place could be so much better, especially considering they add a PIF to the bill.

Dropped in to the bar at the Keg to catch the end of a football game. Ordered several apps and drinks, all of which were excellent. Our server was great and made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Took my wife to the Keg for our anniversary. We were very Disappointed in the food. Being more on the upscale side. I figured the food would have been better. Our server was good. The atmosphere was good. My Opinion Texas Roadhouse has better meals. Meat was under cooked.

It was recommended to me to try the place and I'm glad I did. I got the prime rib because it was the only option that came in a larger size. I wish they offered some larger steaks. Very good prime rib though.

I’ve come before for my anniversary and for that first visit they made that feel special they even had a signed card by the whole restaurant, and the food was amazing. Unfortunately this second visit on Christmas Eve this year was my 30th birthday dinner and I just felt extremely rushed it was a stark contrast to the first experience we had before. The steaks were pretty tough. My husband didn’t order lobster but one came on his plate, he mentioned it and the server said not to worry about it but we still ended up getting charged for it. My birthday didn’t have the special feeling I expected and I left feeling pretty disappointed.

I’ve been to the KEG a few times and generally am pretty happy with the experience. My son and I went and sat in the bar. I ordered a filet which was very good as usual and my son ordered a sirloin. Both were cooked perfectly but my son wasn’t pleased with his steak (he’s 18). I generally buy my steaks from Edwards meats so he knows good steak.. I tried his steak and was surprised to find that it was very tough to chew and not tender at all. It seemed like a London Broil cut or something less than.. Just expected more from a place like this. Everything else was just fine but this made the night and bill a bit tough to swallow (pun intended). Update: 12/23—the GM did reach out to me and spoke to me over the phone about my experience. She sent me a gift card and her business card for a follow up visit. We returned and our experience was much better. I ordered the filet and my son had the chicken ( he was eating light that day). All in all a good experience and my previous visit was amended. I appreciated their professionalism and courtesy.

Choice steak at Prime prices. Service was great, but overall a bland experience. I ordered 3 Old Fashions and they all tasted different. Basically, it's a Texas Roadhouse with extra menu options.

We visited The Keg for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our reservation was ready on time, our server was appropriately attentive, the food and drink selection were very good, and most importantly, the food itself was great! And we felt like it was a reasonable value. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed by my "Chicago Style medium rare" request delivered without a pause. Five stars for this visit which was made better by our server.

First time dining & overall it was a good experience. Has a good size dining room as well as a bar area. Sat at the bar & had an awesome bartender who was very attentive & kind. We tried the Caesar Brussel sprouts, French onion soup, full rack of pork ribs & the filet mignon. Everything was great, my steak was a little overcooked but I wasn't gonna let it ruin my experience. Staff is amazing!

We put cash out to pay, $270. Waitress Kimberly pick it up came back later and claimed there wasn't enough money. One of my son's put out 150 cash, the other one 100 cash and I put out 20. She also dropped someone else's credit card and receipt at our table. The bill was just over 250. We won't return.

My girlfriend and I went for my birthday dinner, I got the ribeye and unfortunately way overcooked twice, so I didnt get to eat. we just shared her little 8oz. Awful birthday dinner

I’ve been here several times… I’ll do a “me time” date, an anniversary dinner, or a random dinner because we’re in the area… and my consistent go to is one of their Keg Classics— a filet mignon, twice baked potato, and mixed greens salad. Of the like 300 times I’ve eaten at the Keg (Denver and Phoenix), that’s the best route! Their steaks are usually pretty good, the only issues I’ve had have been recently with the steak preference (medium), either being undercooked or overcooked. The good thing is, every time there has been an issue with that, they’ve remade my meal and comped it (which is the right approach), so their customer service is on point. New chefs might be learning during the week, so have grace, but speak up if it’s not what you asked for… 9.5/10 though, you won’t be disappointed and have to send anything back 😃 Also, when it’s Lobster Summer… don’t miss out! Other things that are absolutely delicious: scallops, stuffed mushrooms, mocktails, etc. You’re welcome 😉

My wife and I decided to let The Keg cook Thanksgiving dinner. We had a wonderful meal (their pre-selected menu of turkey and all the fixings plus salad and dessert) We love the ambience. Our server Jeremy was so attentive. Every member of the staff was smiling and wished us a Happy Thanksgiving.

Colorado upscale cabin atmosphere. Baseball steak was perfectly cooked. Good quality meat. I would have liked more beers on tap considering it's called The Keg, but not a deal breaker.

Very nice steakhouse atmosphere. The sirloin wasn't the most flavorful and it was annoying trying to cut with a dull knife. Otherwise great service and view of the mountains.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight for my birthday. Our server was Abby and she was wonderful and very friendly. The atmosphere was great and all the staff seemed to be very happy. We both had filets and they were so tasty and cooked to perfection. We come here about 5 times a year and have never had a bad meal and service is always top notch. You cannot go wrong here and make sure you get a reservation.

We were disappointed. We have been here many times … this will be the last. Sad but true. They were busy but not an excuse for the slow and inattentive service. Bad drinks and ok food but not great food.

Tried Happy Hour in the bar from 4 to 6 pm. Food and drink specials are still pricy. 1 wine, 2 beers, and 2 seafood appetizers were $55 before tip. Kevin is the best server! I'll go back to dinner in the restaurant for a better value. Still my favorite steak place. 😋

Normally service is really good but service was slow and not efficient as usual Bit manager stepped in to make our evening still enjoyable and comped my meal to make it good. Have enjoyed The Keg for years so it was unusual to not have top rated service. Will still always recommend The Keg.

I had the prime rib. Very good but didn’t blow my socks off. If they had a creamy horse radish and some sear on the steak I’d give it a full five stars. Great service and a great atmosphere

Our entire experience was wonderful. From the bar staff to our table side service, we experienced a very value added experience. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the salad was refreshing. Took dessert to-go...but can't wait to try. Big shout out to Jeremy and the management team. Thank you. We WILL be back.
