My mom and i had a lovely lunch the lady that served us was called Jen. She was friendly and extremely welcoming. Great prices and great food, 10/10 recommend!!- will be back.

Great food, Cakes are massive. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful food as always, service by Jen was outstanding, the kids loved her when she brought their icecreams out. The free meals for kids were so helpful during the holidays. Highly recommend a visit.

Our server Maria was so friendly and helpful, we came for breakfast and always get happy when Pam is on and cooking as food is always excellent. Would recommend, thank you 😊

Breakfast was very nice, would come again . Only thing I would say is wish there was pancakes things like that for the kids (not a criticism)

Food was really nice! We ordered a lot of food, specifically 2 house curry’s 1 plate had a whole naan and poppadom one had half of each which was weird, we asked for our kids ice creams it took them 20-30minutes for it to come and that’s only cause we kept telling them, some stuff were very friendly and some were rude! We ordered drinks and they forgot one also, experience could of been better but the foods flavour was 10/10

Not great today, tight with the meat & the server threw a large portion of turkey away in front of me, Yorkshires were hard, roast potatoes were dry, barely any choice of veggies & a how did we do card stuck in the cream on my cheesecake...not very professional or hygienic, our last carvery here I'm afraid

We visited the Half Penny Farm Family Pub over Easter and had such a lovely experience! There was a sweet little Easter competition for the kids, and the Littlelands were thrilled to receive a really nice Easter egg — such a thoughtful touch,. A big thank you to Maria for making it extra special for for our little lady! The carvery was delicious — fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented. We all left full and happy. Highly recommended for families looking for a welcoming spot with great food and a bit of festive fun. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was nice, man at carvery counter was lovely. Maria the waitress was very lovely. Atmosphere was great, family orientated.

Absolutely awful place. Ordered via app which was a big mistake. Waited 15 min for my drinks and then went to the bar to see what was happening. Drinks were showing on the bar behind the screen, but the barmaid was too busy chatting she didn't notice them pending. She started to pour my pint of lager by swishing the glass whilst pouring, which resulted in flat beer. Mixed grill came out with a really crap flat egg, so I requested another. Then I noticed they had forgotten the peppercorn sauce, so I had to chase that up. Then the wife's all-day breakfast came out, which was equally as bad. Looked like it had been sat under a heat lamp for a week. In all honesty, the place has had its day and needs closing. The Staff are next to useless, and the cleaners must not exist.

We came here last week for Sunday carvery and didn't enjoy the food, veg undercooked and roasters tasted like they had been cooked day before they were awful and no taste to them beef had no taste either first time we had been here and very disappointed.

I've been here several times and had a fantastic experience however; the last visit on Monday was awful. The carver threw the Yorkshire pudding on the plate and threw the tongs too. Unsure why? Felt intimidated. Reported him of course!

I have come with my Dad a few times now, I’ve come for Carvery’s, general meals and today for the first time for Breskfast. The food is always nice, the staff always friendly and helpful, it is always clean and tidy. It is a lovely atmosphere that welcomes Families. We just stopped there on a coach trip but had our own food, I did look round the choices of food looked expensive to my taste, but everything looked clean and well looked after.

Ordered starters and mains in one go, advised the bar staff while taking order to bring starters first. Food arrived all together, by the time we finished starter mains were cold. Also was a hot day, asked the lady if we could move as was seated by a heater, which was on full blast. Very rude lady basically said no, yet there was a number of empty tables.

Had just checked into the Holiday Inn with the family, we needed somewhere to eat. We didn't look far, this place was just across the car park. Staff were brilliant, special shout out to Matthew, he was awesome. Food was cracking and great value for money.

Booked for Mother’s Day .booking was confirmed turned up the time booked gor to be told they hadn’t got our booking even though I showed them my booking confirmation.was told that they hadn’t got any tables for a group of 9 even though I had booked a week before .wouldnt even try to help us in any way and was turned away .totally disgraceful , been many times before but won’t be given my custome there any time soon . FIMING

Usually pretty good, decent prices and nice food. Breakfast buffet is the best part for me, parking is free just remember to put your REG onto the screen by the entrance or at the bar

Breakfast and cake-away early Mother’s Day date. Breakfast buffet was amazing fresh, hot and so much choice. We love the cakes here and perfect how we can takeaway. Thankyou to Jen for being so kind and helpful she’s a lovely member of staff.

We love penny farm we are always in here we travel from Bilston in a taxi to come here and Matthew is always amazing always greets us with a smile and always happy at work will help you in any way he can all the time

For 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, the pub was lovely and busy but calm. Staff were polite and helpful, and all of the food was good and hot.

Food cold and tast less staff need to learn how to talk to people carpet needs a dam good clean kids area needs clean

We had steakand ale pie the pie itself was lovely but the carrot was hard as a bullet the mash was cold and nowhere near enough gravy you get a miniature jug which was only half full then we had crunchie cheesecake which was lovely but it was the tiniest portion I have ever seen

Food was lovely. Pleasant atmosphere, warm and comfortable. Jen was very helpful and placed my Nan next to a warm radiator.

2 main meals off menu. Was ok and delivered to table quickly. Maria brought food to table , she was very friendly. Excellent service.

Great for a quick and cheap carvery. Nice meats and selection of food. Cakes look great too. Great all you can eat breakfast too. Remember to put your car registration into the tablets if you park though!

I had the burger and it was like it was cooked in the microwave. Wouldn’t recommend for food.

First time visiting here, my partner found a long black hair in her carvery and the guy serving the meat was very rude to her, wont be returning!,

I ordered 2 fish and chips and 2 ciders. When the food arrived there was only 1 fish and chips. Staff said she would sort it. Partner finished his, I still had no food. 3 staff members said they would sort. I had to go to the bar and demand to see the manager who did eventually bring my food and offered us free dessert. We were full so did not have the dessert.

I took my Niece last week and we both enjoyed the food. All the food was hot and tasty. Returned this week with 2 friends after telling them how nice it was, but unfortunately today was not good. A gentleman came and asked how the food was I explained roasts, carrots and broccoli were not hot, they were just luke warm. He said he would go and speak to them. He never returned to inform us of the outcome and we did not get an apology. Very disappointing. I have given 3 stars as we enjoyed last week otherwise would have given less.

Ordered. A. Mixed Grill got a. Mixed FRY UP, very poor. Food quality , all serving Staff where foreign making Communication difficult At. Times everything out the freezer into the fryer.... Won't. Be going back there no different to a wethsrspoons pub, poor Food expensive beer, crap, atmosphere make your Own minds up if/when you visit

We had a lovely family meal here , the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff were helpful and hard working , there was a nice atmosphere. We have been here before and couldn't fault it ,it also does a lovely carvery which is very popular.

Havnt been here for 20 years plus when it was a pub . Now more a family pub . Staff where friendly . All seemed clean . Enjoyed breakfast nice to have tinned tomatoes as well as beans . You pay for breakfast and drinks are extra so about £10 each being great value

potatoes were black mint sauce tasted like toothpaste and then when complained never came and asked if okay

Gear food but needs more selection on the vegetables on there carvery like peas and green beans

Nice place. Food and drink at a reasonable price and great selection. Desserts are massive. Great place for a date. The only thing I didnt like is how close the tables were together. Felt like you were sitting atop of one another.

Lovely place to eat. The food was great (I had a mixed grill). The lights are dim, which i love, because they make things cosy. Oh, the desserts that are on show are HUGE! Desserts could be shared between 3 people. And they're under £7. Do enjoy 😉.

Carvery was top nosh! Service was a little slow and took us a while to be seated. (It was not planned otherwise i would of booked) It was very busy, so i pressume this was the reason, all in all good experience.

Took the family for a Sunday Cavery everyone enjoyed it On another visit we had unlimited breakfast, the family enjoyed Desserts also available Afternoon lunch we all enjoyed our meals. Rude front of house supervisor on this evening again. Carvery was dirty and unkept, so had to order from the menu instead.

Nice food which came quickly, staff were friendly and efficient. My only gripe is why make customers form a queue at the bar causing a people having to dodge each other especially when they have hot plates of food from the carvery.

the food is not the best, apart from the steak which is perfectly done for me if you like it very blue not much choice on the menu either glasses are not clean either, twice we've been & both times the wife has had lipstick on her glasses service is pretty good, food comes out quickly, not sure if you think that's a good thing, I feel they don't much effort into it I won't be going again better places out there.

First time visiting, we were shown where our table was and waited to order but then realised after a while that you order at the bar. Waitress at bar seemed annoyed when I was ordering. Roast potatoes were processed round balls, cauliflower cheese had zero cheese sauce. Carrot cake was dry and hard. Meat was nice.

Haven't been for around a year because everytime I went there was a very rude woman who worked there, she would give attitude and argue with customers.. have been today and MARIA was great, really friendly and just genuinely nice! There was another girl who was nice too, she was young blondish.. so this review is from the service I received from those two x

We were a family of 11 dining on the 17th January. We were welcomed and seated. The lady that served me with the food order was very patient as we had a few edits to the meals and I had to keep returning to the table mid order to clarify what people wanted (we're a complicated bunch). Maria served our food and she was very pleasant and attentive. Our order was spot on and food very enjoyable. Thank you.

Guy that greeted us as we arrived was good, as was the lady behind the bar. Food was much as you would expect for stuff that had been kept warm for a while, no one's fault, you just have to accept that at a carvery it won't be like a la carte. It was all ok, we'd go again.

Good food, was in the middle of the day during the week so the food wasn’t fresh as it could be but expected for the time we went and in the week too. Nice tasting food and good options too.
