We’ve Been using Haka in Easthampstead for many years now. This will been my last time for sure, very oily and greasy! Put the food on my plate and could just see how greasy the food was. Very disappointing when not cheap either.

I’ve been using haka for years since I was 16 I am now 40 and tonight for the first time I’ve never been so disappointed in the quality of the food that I have received tonight , my chow mein was very dry and burnt and no taste at all which did not get eaten the chips were not cooked properly and still hard in the middle the first ever time ordering from there has been a mistake!!!

Ordered takeaway for the first time last night - 2 menu choices and set meal for 3. While the delivery was quick, the food was awful. Most of the set meal was inedible and had to be thrown away. The special rice was dry and hard, with shrivelled bits of meat and shrimp that tasted old. The prawns in the prawn dish weren’t cooked enough - they tasted fishy (in both senses of the word) and the sauce tasted unpleasant. The spring rolls were so oily that they had to be wrapped in paper towels to eat - and then so greasy that this proved impossible. The carrots weren’t cooked in the chilly beef ordered off the menu with the batter thick and floury, while the beef strips were shrivelled and tasteless. The satay chicken and red pork (from set menu)were the only 2 dishes that were ok, not amazing but edible. A costly waste of money. Not recommended at all.

Haven't had the opportunity to get back here recently. Ordered 5 dishes for collection. Only a short ride home, ALL dishes beautifully cooked and Hot, with some good flavour. Only have ever used this takeaway and find the staff very friendly and comprehensive priced. 5 STARS.

We didn't realise tle Haka which we have used for years is under new ownership! Should have realised as the phone was answered straight away. Food delivered quickly but obviously re heated as sweet and sour King prawns were dry crispy and not to decent Chinese standards. As for the rest of tle food definately not worth the money the tesco book your own takeaway as 10 times better. Sorry but wont be ordering again.

We ordered a meal from Haka last night and what mistake! We’ve had takeaways from them for many years but last nights was the worst - Spring Rolls soggy, Prawn balls the same, sesame prawn toast was dry and tasteless and chips tasted and looked like they were left over from a previous day - all in all - Crap I rang them and spoke to the so called manager and complained and made it clear that we would never use them again - such a shame!

Ordered online. Fast delivery, very tasty food. Sweet and sour king prawn balls were very nice. Plain chow mein and seaweed also recommended.

Like so many chinese lovers in Bracknell have used Haka for years. Our meal this evening was incomplete and two dishes were not edible. Chicken was a horrid rubbery texture and the sauces watery thin and tasteless. The new owners need to sort this as we will not be ordering again unless we see better reviews.

Always used Haka but tonight’s meal was a disaster!Chicken balls soggy & grey,duck in black bean sauce was gristly & tasteless,crispy duck full of burnt offerings,the only decent meal was chicken chow mien but that was cold.None of the meal was fresh as it used to be,shame.Prices gone way up too!Wont be ordering again waste of money.

Found out tonight that a few months ago this establishment changed hands. The food has gone downhill drastically. We have always frequented Haka for years but not any more unless they pull their socks up. The chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce was in a thin watery gravy nothing like the sticky yellow bean sauce their predecessor used to serve up! The mushroom chop suey was more like a tomato and mushroom casserole with tomato being the predominant flavour. Why would we want mushroom chop suey to taste mainly of tomato? The young lady who took our call gave us a refund but we won't be going there again unless I see improved reviews on this website.

Best experience at first time,Started with the delivery was roughly 15mins earlier than expected. The food was delicious, well cooked, we enjoyed all of it! Thank you Hakka, we are happy to order from you again.

I was hoping to send them a private message but they don't offer that option on their website. We have been using the Kaka for years and always loved it. Last night's supper was nothing at all like it used to be. The crispy chilli beef was grey and chewy, the satay chicken was a fraction of the usual size with a thin watery greasy sauce. I could go on and on but I think it is obvious they have either changed chef or possibly owners. It was very busy so obviously word has not go around yet but please Haka go back to your former wonderful food. Ending on a positive note the lady who took the order over the phone was friendly and polite and it was delivered very quickly.

Have been using haha for years now and have always enjoyed the food. We ordered our usuals meals last night and were so disappointed!!! It was probably one of the worst Chinese meals we have had. The portion sizes have shrunk, prices drastically increased and quality totally gone!! The sesame prawn toast was always amazing with plenty of prawn, now there isn’t any on it that I could find and nearly £1 more expensive! The beef in oyster sauce bland and chewy, sweet and sour sauce tasteless, crispy chilli beef was tough and chewy not at all crispy! When I rang to complain they offered me a credit on my next order which I refused and in the end took the food back to the shop for a refund! Certainty won’t be ordering again and I highly recommend that no one else does!!!

Been ordering from Haka for years but last three orders have been awful...they advertise it’s cooked by a world class chef...don’t think so as the quality is now poor, taste is nothing like it used to be and portions small. Today’s order: 1/4 duck..mostly fat and bits of crisp, virtually no spring onion and barely enough hoisein sauce to cover 2 wraps, Singapore noodles - just noodles, not a single prawn, no egg, no chicken..bland and lacking ..hot and spicy chicken...awful again- wasn’t even sure if it was chicken, black in colour, didn’t taste fresh, no chilli, large lumps of un cut onion, no pepper and terrible what seemed like a black bean sauce What has gone wrong here? Used to be great but having given them the benefit of the doubt..maybe had a bad night , last two orders have been the same Avoid and I will be taking my business elsewhere Suggest you all do the same

we have used HAKA for a takeaway for many years and it has always been good. However the last twice we have been very disappointed. the sauce on the Chicken and Cashew nut meal has changed and it is hot very nice. the meat in the hot and spicy beef was very tough and not very nice. Such a shame as we will think twice about going again.

Having ordered from majority of the Chinese restaurants in the Bracknell area; Haka for me is a best. I would recommend Chicken with Cashew Nuts in Bean Sauce and prawn toast. Top quality food.

Have been a customer for a number of years and have always found the staff and the food good. Friends and family have visited and we have ordered from the Haka and they all have been extremely complimentary about the food and have often stated that they wished they had on near to where they live

Haka use to be the best take away in the area. How sad is it, when every dish you order is not up to standard. This has been happening over a period of time. I gather that they have had a staff problem, also put their prices up big time. Not good enough. We have now had 3 really sad takeaways. That’s it.

It was ok . Many Chinese takeaways in Bracknell. Unfortunately we don't have any great ones . Tonight's meal was ok . Just about warm . Tasted ok and delivery time was ok .though why is it that it's only the Chinese that charge delivery fees no matter how big the order may be . They still want £1.50 even on £50 orders . Food choices are decent and there is a home delivery service available. Pricing is reasonable. Not much else to say!

First time visiting this take away and I must say I was very impressed. We had a referral from hubby’s friend at work and I must say Haka didn’t disappoint.

This is a bit over priced compared to some other restaurants in the area for example China Exspress give you a large portion of Prawn Crackers for free with every order as a food will gesture. If they did the same I would not go anywhere else

I have just spent £44 on a takeaway from The Haka in Bracknell! The food they have delivered is covered in grease and is inedible and when I have just called them they pass me to the so called chef who stated that he prepared the food earlier and it’s all good? I then stated that 75% of the food was here and wanted a refund and he said never as the owner has stated never to give money back and he has also stated that I am no barred from ordering from there! New to you so called Chef is I wouldn’t even bother thank you very much! Mugs!

Been eating here for years unfortunately the last three times has been very poor in food and quality I'm going back today to take their green ribs back and they're smelly rice and their uncooked spring rolls very disappointed not going to eat there again until I see good reviews

We ordered chinese tonight. Worst meal ever. Order was wrong and the food cold. When i said about the order the woman in the takeaway said it should be warm as you have just ordered it. This used to be a good takeaway but tonight it was horrible.

Heard so many good things about this place, went there a few years back and found it very mediocre, tried it again tonight as my local one (which is by far the new best in the area) was crazy busy, only to waste at least 20 of the £40 I spent! The ribs had hardly any meat and had a funny taste, the Kung po chicken was soggy and mushy, the chicken in the curry also had a nasty taste, and the shredded duck tasted like the smell of damp hair. Rang up and explained all of this and was offered free duck and ribs NEXT TIME, no thank you, that would be double punishment having to eat that AGAIN!

Great food, freshly cooked and a large choice of dishes. They get so busy at Haka but cook so quickly there is never much of a wait. Call ahead to order is the quickest/easiest.

Great service at great speed, the crispy duck is always a favourite, The Egg fried rice, sweet and sour pork dishes are also very popular.

Good take away with prompt friendly service. Tom Yum Kai is very nice as is the Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken with cashews.

Used to use Haka a few years ago and loved it, unfortunately it went really downhill and we stopped using it, tonight thought we would give it another go and we are so pleased we did, it's the tasty yummy food we remember, would recommend and definitely be going back, well done haka and thank you

Este lugar tiene empeorar progresivamente a lo largo de los años, la mitad de los platos difícilmente podría ser llamado China y serviría mejor como postre, porque son tan dulces y pegajosas.

Food is literally horrible there's no other way to describe it, such better Chinese out there. I usually use forest park but as they don't deliver thought I'd use these guys, luckily I had some food in the freezer so cooking that as this stuff they sent and charged me £30 for is totally inedible. Pretty confident that crispy chilli beef has been microwaved, if I was the owner I'd order a few meals from other takeaways and see how to actually cook the food.Never ever again. Total disappointment

I order from this place regularly tonight I got raw chicken, I bit into the chicken it was crunchy in a slippery way and when I looked it was raw , I feel so sick at the thought of how much raw chicken I might have eaten I hope I don't get sick.

This is in my opinion the best Chinese takeaway in Bracknell. The service is always fast and friendly and the food is excellent. The Nine Season Prawn, Chicken and Cashew nuts and Hong Kong Style sweet and sour chicken are among my favourite dishes here and match what you would get in many sit down Chinese restaurants.

This is reasonable Chinese takeaway. The good is always good , relatively quickly produced and price at a reasonable level.In the end though it's just a takeaway, with home delivery option.

I don't use Haka regularly but my last visit was really disappointing. The S&S prawns were soft no crunchy batter and I found the beef dish a little in the fatty side. The dinner boxes have really gone down in my opinion lots of veg but not much meat and the sauce tastes more like gravy than a Chinese sauce, such a shame as this used to be my favourite Chinese in the area.

One of the best in the area. Never lie about delivery times. Good varied menu food always delivered hot by polite employees. Would recommend.

The Haka has been in Easthampstead shops for years and you can see why.The food is all freshly cooked and hot. Fried rice is cooked well. Chow Mein is delicious and the chicken balls are crunchy on the outside. The menu is diverse and includes the ubiquitous crispy shredded duck.

Stayed at local hotel, and wanted to have a chinese, after looking at another i found myself here. Food was different to the local Chinese restaurants from around my way, and i can say it was very nice. I had a lovely King Po Chicken with Pineapple in it i would recommend.

Always clean tastey dishes . friendly helpfull staff and fast service. My family wouldnt go any where else for Chinese food

we threw almost all of the food away. It was awful. Never again.fried food was greasy and tasteless, so much vinegar in everything it rendered the food inedible. It almost all ended up in the bin.

So this must have the busiest waiting area of any Chinese in Bracknell - that alone is an encouraging sign. Obviously I have not tried every dish on the menu (only the Chicken Curry and Kung Po Chicken), so can only comment on my own experiences.The food is acceptable, a little lacking on flavour - although portion sizes are generous. It's a case of quantity over quality.There is nothing overtly bad about this place, and it does represent good value for money, but for an eating experience it's just a little underwhelming.I still rate The Forest near Crown Wood as the best Chinese in the area, and Haka has not stolen my custom from them.

I love this takeaway but it can take forever to get through on the phone. Food is always hot and tasty, but delivery can be slow when they are busy.

I have lived in Bracknell for most of my life and have used probably all of the local takeaways, however I always seem to be drawn back to Haka. It is definitely the best of a bad bunch. If you order crispy duck it is usually pretty good, I am pretty sad and order that almost every time, however on occasions even this can can be messed up by them watering down the hoisin sauce, lovely friendly staff when you pick it up, however expect a miserable, fat, fella who expects a tip when it is delivered .

I order from here all the time, polite and friendly when you call to order and best bit is they deliver and drivers always friendly.Food has only once let me down but that was down to asking for something that wasn't normally on menu.But all in all the food is really good and a decent price too. Will always recommend to anyone.

After three years of living in this area we stumbled upon Haka. Great find with very nice food at Reasonable prices. My only complaint would be that there are not a lot of veggie dishes and the veggie spring rolls were a little soggy. Otherwise though the portions were good and then chicken cashew nuts dish was very good.Would recommend for a lazySaturday night and they deliver! Staff were also very friendly and efficient.

I am suprised that there are not more reviews here. Haka is always busy when we go.Favourite dishes, special fried rice, Singapore Noodels, crispy chilli shredded beef, beef in plum sauce, szechuan prawns, red hot pork and sweet and sour chicken. There is quite an extensive choice.All dishes are always tasty, no fillers of cucumber like we had from another take away, those dishes alone can last for three days for the two of us.Delivery is charged at £2.50, but we collect as we then know when the food will arive. I can understand the comments about the delivery drivers.

The food is good, its local and easy to order and just pop in to collect, or you can have food delivered. The food is well priced and tasty. We do this at least once a month! Excellent value!

Decided to try a new takeaway as our usual is closed for holiday. Called for delivery person on the phone was polite. That is the only nice thing I can say. Food arrived late and cold delivered by a rude delivery driver. All of the food was greasy, also forgot sweet and sour sauce for the balls. Won ton's not on the menu so asked if they do them, said yes... The won ton's that turned up are like nothing I have seen before. Don't waste your money.

Tried a few but always return to the Haka, never had them deliver have always gone to collect.Service is quick and the food generally of great flavour and presentation.They always seem busy so must be popular

I have used this place numerous times and paid by card over the phone.However today the guy on the other end told me he is not taking card payments as he is too busy!!!!Well I will take my business elsewhere and won't be back!I'm sure other companies will be more grateful! Everyone thinks that their chinese is the best chinese but the Haka really is!!! The down side of that is that it can take a long time to get through on the phone and delivery can be a long time esp at busy times. However, the quality of the food more than makes up for this. There is plenty of choice on the menu and prices are reasonable. A dinner box is really good as it is cheap, comes with a spring roll, rice and a mix of meats/veg and sauce. Good for poorer times when you still fancy a chinese!

Excellent good quality Chinese takeaway. Have sister takeaways in Wokingham and Maidenhead. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had dishes where we wanted certain ingredients removed and they did this perfectly as requested and wasn't a problem at all. The only negative is it is so busy, especially weekend evenings, that the wait can be quite long if you just turn up. Better to phone in advance and order what you want. Not tried delivery so can't comment. Think you'd find it hard to find a better Chinese takeaway in the Bracknell area.
